Desde que se fue, se llevó mis ganas, mi energía para ser el centro del baile.

Así que, cada vez que me llamen para salir y diga: “lo siento, hoy no puedo” es debido a que aún me tortura el alma y no tengo la energía para salir de casa.

This is the name given to the pretty rear end of ships. Sometimes with elaborate ornamentation, balconies and windows and sometimes a bit simpler or sometimes just ornate.

The term "stern" is also used colloquially to refer to a person's backside. The term comes from the old norse stjorn, the steering oar set at the back of the older ships.

I’m endlessly fascinated by this method but found it so hard to use straw to make them (as it’s intended originally). It kept breaking in my hands, and it’s quite disheartening, especially when it happens at the later stages.

Sooo, I’ve decided to use the Japanese paper band instead. It’s cheap ($3.30 each colour), widely available (at Daiso), made with recycled paper, doesn’t break and you can adjust width, if you need.

The stars make a cute gift decoration that doubles as a tree ornament. What can be better?

Make three of them, and you have a lovely gift on your hands already.
