I just listened to the latest episode of and that's what you really missed on Glee. Stephen Tobolowsky was a great guest, very entertaining.

He has a crazy audition story. He had a horse back riding accident and broke his neck. He was still in recovery when he got the Glee script. His wife drove him to the audition, but they told him the wrong date. He was a day early. He told them his horse back riding story and came back the next day. Ryan heard the story and was interested. Stephen took his neck brace off, did the scene, sang a song and put his neck brace back on. And he found out pretty much right away he got the part.

Three years later Stephen had an open heart surgery. Different people reached out and gave him shows (including Glee and Community) so that he wouldn't loose his health insurence. (I think that says a lot about him – his acting skills and his personality.)

Stephen worked at a couple of shows at the same time, because it was the same studio and they send him around and make it work. (Again, that says a lot about him.)

What is the feeling that Glee leaves you with? Stephen: Still to this day I think of Glee and I'm filled with joy, both of the process of working on it, all you guys and everybody I met on Glee. Remarkable, remarkable people. Jane, Cory, Matt, Lea, everybody. I just had a great experience with everybody and it was a unique experience. Nothing like it before and nothing like it since. And that was my overall.

📽️ Fractured (2019)

I actually ended up watching this movie twice in two days — not because I necessarily loved it but because I wanted my dad to experience it after I had. Objectively, the acting is not super great except for Sam Worthington. You can tell it didn’t have a super high budget. However, it keeps you guessing the whole time. Every time it seems you might have it figured out, something changes. And the ending is nothing like what you would expect. I would definitely recommend this movie.

Sex/nudity: 1/10 (one scene with a shirtless man)

Language: 7/10 (15 f-bombs, multiple other profanities throughout)

Violence: 8/10 (spoilers, but there is blood)

Overall rating: 7/10
