Stephanie Nadolny returning as Kid Goku was cool, considering Colleen's Gohan voice would be too similar to her Goku, but...

...if I could be really greedy, I hope Laura Bailey returns as Kid Vegeta if Alexis Tipton remains as Kid Trunks. Hearing her pull double duty with Chi-Chi would be impressive and her punk kid voice would suit Vegeta's attitude.

Went to the Digimon Kizuna screening hosted by Japan Society, Hiromi Seki was there. Toei noticed us and it was a nice time with new friends.

Thursday was Daima day. Went as Goku Black, saw Stephanie Nadoly in person with my very own bad eyes.

I gave away my Goku wig at the end of the night to UI Goku cause I just wanted to get rid of it because I wasn’t happy with the end product.

This wig was just a test to see what I can do better for next time I get asked to do a goku.

In the end Goku Black did a good thing lol

I wonder if Colleen will stay as kid Gohan, since in Daima everyone got deaged. Stephanie voicing kid Goku, while Colleen voices kid Gohan.

I would figure so since if you got her than you should use her. It would be kind of weird to be like "You're not voicing Goku so now you get nothing". She's also going to be young Gohan in Sparking Zero and I'm assuming they're going to get around to revealing Stephanie as Daima Goku for the game as well so both existing in their characters respectfully should be possible. I also feel like having young Gohan sound like young Goku is something you do when you don't have both characters existing at once.

Been watching the redubbed version of Dragonball Z (not Kai) and been really impressed with Sean Schemmel's new take on Goku which (from what I remember) is written closer to Goku's original portrayal than the first dub was. He's doing a great job of capturing that simplistic kinda vibe!

And then the dub seemingly starts using the original dub recordings out of nowhere and uh. Oh dear, this is rough.

anime that follow characters from childhood to adulthood have two different kinds of english dubs: keeping the same va and the characters magically losing their raspy voices by a certain episode

News - A new trailer for the English dub of the upcoming Dragon Ball Daima has been released, along with the news that Fathom Events will be doing a theatrical showing of the first 3 episodes in the US! Dates for the theatrical showings will be November 10-12, 2024 at participating theaters. Stephanie Nadolny was also confirmed to be returning to the franchise as the English dub voice for transformed "young" Goku. Y'all I am so excited to watch this both in English and Japanese but with Kid Goku's and Gohans OG voice actress coming back to voice him I know Im gonna be a sobbing mess the first time he says a full sentence....like we get snippets in this trailer and was already a mess.

Welcome back Stephanie Nadolny! You have always been an inspiration for me in VO and You helped make both Gohan and Kid Goku my favorites in this franchise.
