One day the reader is in one of J’s sessions with Harley but J keeps looking at the reader until J breaks out and does everything that he did to Harley to the reader. J and the reader go to Ace Chemicals to make their relationship offical (you can add the rest) thank u :) (and the reader uses her powers later on to help Harley and the reader escape)

Chet, as far as Steph can tell, isn't one to take initiative when it comes to their little relationship, which does wonders for her mood; he seems to be waiting for her input more out of respect than lack of interest, and the more she allows, the more he does. He's proving himself to be more than just a warm body to have close at night and occasional company: he's sweet, caring, and considering Bertha isn't even is he's doing a great job watching over her, and Steph is allowing more and more, despite having had no such intentions, not so soon, because he makes her feel nice. Chet is also clearly becoming more comfortable with their new life, by now he knows he can touch her when she snuggles next to him at night to watch tv together, that he's welcomed to reciprocate when she decides it's time to make out again, that she considers that their house and not just hers. Or at least she thinks he is. He must be, right? Hopefully he's not still thinking of Lucy. He seems to prove her right that evening, when she snuggles to watch a movie again, and looks up to see if he's enjoying it too, but when he looks down and meets her eyes, their faces so close, he decides for once to kiss her first, which sends an entirely different thrill down her spine. Sometimes, rarely, she wonders if Chet is intimidated by her, and that is why he's there, but then pushes the thought away because they are just doing what they are supposed to do. Now, though, he kissed her all by himself, no prompting, and that must mean he's attracted to her, just like she thought. Steph lets out a pleased noise against his lips and reciprocates enthusiastically, feeling vindicated against that part of herself that doubted him. She almost climbs him, really, such a tall, big guy, she can't be blamed, but the baby is in the room, and she settles for wrapping one arm around his neck and pushing herself closer to him. She takes a moment to breathe, she wasn't ready, and her smile is genuine. "That's nice."

Oh my God that is actually really nice and sweet of you! 💕 I've been in a writing funk, so your comment has been a breath of fresh air. I may not be the best in narrating - unless I'm feeling really inspired and "awake" - but I like painting the picture with witty dialogue.

I do love the grump/sunshine trope with those two tickling each other's dark/light sides.
