Some pre-fall sibling fluff! I’ve gone back and forth about what to do with Stentor’s character for a while, but I think I’ve got it figured out. For this au, Stentor is still adopted, however this happened before Taygetos (by at least a year or two). In canon, he’s the eldest—he’s at least 30 when you first meet him, as that’s when Spartan men would become eligible for command positions. Here, though, he’s a few years younger than Alexios. I think it really sets the family up for a different dynamic going forward.
This version of Stentor, only being 6 or 7 when Alexios and Kassandra ‘died’, would have looked up to his brother quite a bit. Alexios was smart, sharp, and strong (helped along by the whole demigod thing) and up until the fall was the epitome of a good spartan child. At least as far as baby Stentor over here was concerned. The adults thought that similarly but also thought he was a stubborn little shit.
I’m going back and forth on whether to include the ‘boy king’ idea from my post about whether Alexios would have been in line for/already on the throne or not, which changes things as well. I’m leaning towards yes, although I haven’t decided how to resolve it past Alexios not returning to the position. I think it would he hysterical if they were desperate for him to come back because of Pleistoanax and/or Pausanias’ betrayal and he is absolutely not having it.
Side note, the outline for this story just keeps getting longer and longer. This thing is going to be long lmao

Realistic Portraits of Assassin's Creed Odyssey
okay, this one was, though. The toughest that I've done because even tho AC Odyssey give us realistic faces, they were also kinda of not that realistic? And they were very specifics, so I did the same I've done with the Avatar Realistic Portraits, trying to match the ethnicity based on what I've sawed in the game.
I've also tried to make some characters look older or younger. Like Kass is older than Alexios cuz she is the protagonist, or me aging up Myrrine... Enjoy.

I travel on the Adrestia with a crew of the Daughters of Artemis so that:
Deimos can get socialised - he's the semi-feral wolf cub that we found scavenging in a trash heap and will try to bite someone because he's too reactive, and the Daughters of Artemis are professionals at taming wild animals
Stentor can get socialised - you look me in the eye and tell me that this man has seen or spoken to any woman other than Kassandra in the past three years. sit down and learn some manners, my guy
Nikolaus can be a silver fox wolf - coming out of self imposed exile to an estranged wife, estranged step son and step daughter and then there's the adopted kid that never left him alone... yeah, I think the old man can still Get It, and I'm sure at least one of the ladies wants to try him too. make some new connections Nik :)
Myrrine can have gal pals that aren't pirates and also who won't betray her or use her for their own means - on GOD we gon GET you some friends, girl
and Kassandra is technically their boss, so. yeah.

Finally got around to doing Stentor! Much like with Brasidas, the braid needed to go.
Stentor is significantly younger in this au than he is in canon, where he’s the eldest by several years (likely in his 30’s when he’s introduced, based on his military rank). In this au he’s more like… 20-22 and was 6-7 when Alexios and Kassandra ‘died’. I’ve been working out how he came to be with the family, since he’s still adopted—currently I’m thinking he’s the kid of a sibling of Nikolaos that died, in part because I want to flesh out Nikolaos’ character a bit more and his side of the family isn’t ever mentioned 🤔
The side effect of all that is mostly that Stentor got a bit….twinkified? It wasn’t really my goal but we’re rolling with it.
