I don’t think we talk enough about what a Mary Sue Hannibal is in the books. He’s got maroon eyes that “reflect red pinpoints in the light,” six fingers on his left hand, perfect pitch, several graduate degrees, a photographic memory, and a literal actual castle. He speaks seven languages. He can do every kind of art. He can smell cancer. He gives himself reconstructive surgery (twice). He’s the funniest bitch alive. AND he gets his girl.

Clarice Starling (book) would like Hannibal (NBC) the same way she likes Hannibal (SOTL book) but Starling (movie) would not like Hannibal (NBC) nearly as much as (book) Starling. Alternatively, Hannibal (NBC) would only be vaguely interested in her because he really just wants Will Graham (NBC). To add onto that, Hannibal (TRD) would not like Graham (NBC) the same way Hannibal (NBC) would not like Graham (TRD).

We had to get into a fancy establishment full of rich people to speak to the king, so we had to dress up a bit. Ihk especially because all their clothes are very…. used and broken lol We were still easily clocked as villagefolk but at least they let us in 😂

This outfit cost 5 gold (which would've been half of Ihks funds) but luckily a friend payed for them <3
