The older I get, the more I realize just how cruel and rude people are. This stands to be most truthful during election years. Most people tend to come from families where they share the same basic beliefs. However, that is not a privilege most have. I created a song and music video called “Just Another Day” thst voices much of how I feel about poitics. To put it in s nutshell, I paraphrase my frustration by relating smoking cannabis as a better option to dealing with the election process or politics in general. During this election season, I encourage those who can to vote, and to fight for what is important to you. Only you can speak of the change you wish to see within this country. Also, vote for who is best for you and the people you surround yourself with, and nobody else. Politics are taboo and simply put, gross, but a necessary evil to the country we live in. Remember, you are allowed to believe what you want, but you are never allowed to discredit or invalidate anybody. Make this election year less hostile and hope for the best. 💨💨💨💨💨💨💨💨💨💨💨💨💨💨💨💨

#LIVETheatreReview #BestOfTheFest @TheComedyChateau 🍿 🍿 🍿 🍿 1/2 (Out of 5) Fun Nigh Of Fresh Comedy What a fun night of comedy at North Hollywood’s Comedy Chateau hosted by Felix McNulty who introduced and revved-up the audience for each performer. Drinks, snacks and plates available all night, the evening included what I think was about 18 comics of all shapes, colors, sizes and styles. It was the last night of “The Best of The Fest” Festival of comedy featuring topics and subject matters covering Pride Month, Dating, Nationality issues, mommy issues and so much more. I want to focus on three wonderful performers the literally blew me way with heir sets – albeit way too short for me (as I did not get a set list of all the performers names); Jason Stuart – a ‘totally’ (valley-girl sounding) awesome gay comic who loves what he does and you can tell. Playing with the audience, using situations of his own experience and being proudly gay for all to hear. So funny. So clever. So much fun. Follow him @thejasonstuart Jimmy Brogan is a wise man from Cleveland, Ohio whose fresh and simple comic style kept me and the audience in tears of laughter. Using the audience as his material, he never missed a beat, a comment or a rollback to things that happened 5 minutes before. OMG – way too much fun! Following him at @jimmybroganhaha Seth Robichaux was bright, shimmering, shiny and so high energy – that his quips and whips – mainly at us the audience were hysterical, if all true, but fun and fast. He went on and never turned off. Hysterical, commentary on being a very out and very open and very colorful gay man. I needed a drink after his set! I want to become something new. Something better. I want to break every limit. Today I did dips for the first time. First time working out for 5 hours (I had demons that needed beating). First time max incline bench. Oh and 1st in 14 months soberish I really wanted to drink myself into oblivion but manage to say no. See future raven. It always passes. That’s what they mean by this to will pass. It’s feels like I’m taking this body out for a ride and really seeing what she can do. Because it’s not enough to be healthy and get in shape. It’s about getting to that level of finally being able to…. Do all those neat moves they do in the movies. You know the movies and you know the moves. 😂 Now picture me doing those moves.
