this is my first fic so let me know how I did, probably so many spelling errors and bits were words make no sense but I have read over this three times and I’m starting to get bored 😝

“June! are you ready yet?” You shout lying down on her couch “Almost I’m just putting on my shoes.” She says emerging from her room she had just spent the last 2 hours in.

She looks you up and down and sighs “You’re gonna wear that?” You tilt your head “What’s wrong with what I’m wearing?” You ask confused “It’s just this is a massive festival and you’re going to wear jeans and a t-shirt.” She says sitting down on the couch

“And.. If you’re going to try to impress someone you at least need to look better.” she teases as you stare at her with a slightly annoyed expression “After my last breakup I’m going to stay single for a while” You say as June stands up “Whatever you say, Cmon let’s get going or we’ll be late”

(At the festival)

June tugs on your arm pulling you in all different directions to go see her favourite bands “Dude I need you help do I go watch Vampire Blood or Fangs of Fury?” “Vampire fang thing” You mutter not paying attention to her as your gaze if fixed upon a band in the distance

“What about over there.” She glances over to the band you seem so eager to see “Sins of lust, really.” She rolls her eyes “I don’t think you even know one of their songs” She waits for your response but you stay silent slowly tugging her along as you try to get a better look at the main singer

He was tall, brunette and drop dead gorgeous. You had just laid eyes on this man and you had already started planning the wedding “Dude are you there?” She elbows your arm snapping you out of your daze “What?” You look at her annoyed

Before she could say anything the tall brunette singer walked over to your side of the stage winked at you and then blew you a kiss. “June did you see that!” you jump up and down in excitement “I did” she rolls her eyes again “I’m going to get something to drink” she says as she wanders off. You’re too busy watching the band to realise she left

You somehow are able to get closer to the stage and can see all the members of the band clearly. You notice him staring at you a couple times and every time he does it your stomach fills with butterflies.

Eventually June comes back holding a red cup in her hand “Hey June, Where did you go?” You ask curiously “To get a drink” she takes a sip “I told you” you glance at her confused and when your about to ask her a question you feel the weight of somebody tackle you to the floor

You slowly open your eyes ready to attack the person who just body slammed you when you realise it’s- “Sorry Love” The brunette singer says as he stands up and brushes the dirt off his clothes

“Need a hand?” He asks as you grab onto his arm and get lifted back onto your feet “I’m ever so sorry about this, you can never predict how a crowd surf can go.” he scratches the back of his head

“I should get on with the show” he laughs then he walks back onto the stage and resumes playing with his band every so often he glances at you while singing it shredding his guitar

An hour later you find yourself standing backstage. After the show the bands manger came up to you and asked you to come backstage. You wait patiently for the brunette and when he spots you his eyes light up

“Hey, Sorry about before” He says putting his hand on your shoulder “It’s Okay” you shrug before being lead back to his trailer. The two of you sit on his bed laughing about the day you both had.

“I’ve never actually met someone like you before.” He states “Really? Why” You ask genuinely curious “Well most people are scared of my rockstar persona or just think I’m mean because I play electric guitar” he looks away “I don’t think you’re mean.” he glances at you as you look into his eyes, enchanted by the mix of blue and green. you feel a swirl of love and desire brewing within you.

He holds your chin “May I?” You nod softly as he places his lips onto yours. you kiss him back sharing this tender moment. The two of you stay like this for a while just enjoying the warmth and coziness of each other

The rest of the night you two spend watching movies and making out . You end up fall asleep on his lap. He kisses you on the forehead and mutters “Night Love” before falling asleep himself

This was the third time she performed this song on the eras tour and it caught everyone by surprise, I truly never thought I would get to hear this song live but it was such a special moment to sing it with so many people after trading friendship bracelets.
