Patron saints for US election aftermath

Below are some saints I humbly recommend to pray to as the United States faces this new and challenging era after the results of our recent election. Those that use prayer for intercession may find comfort in learning more about the saints below, and building a communication with them.
Social justice — St. Martín de Porres Poverty — St. Francis of Assisi Women — St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Immigrants — St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Racial justice — St. Katharine Drexel Ecology and environment — St. Kateri Tekakwitha (the first Indigenous American saint) Education/teachers — St. John Baptist de La Salle
If you'd like, I have included some notes and extras below —
Please if you can, take some time to learn about St. Martín de Porres! His soul is beautiful and his work was absolutely selfless as he cared for others in the face of social abuse and adversity. He really is someone to aspire to be like.
I nominate St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in this particular instance as it's difficult to pin down a definitive patron saint of women (all of my cross-references didn't produce a strong label on any one saint; many were for mothers or some other aspect attributed to womanhood, so there are many options). But St. Elizabeth was the first American-born citizen to be canonized as a saint, and in her life she started a Catholic school for girls. She is most known for founding of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Joseph’s, the first religious order in America who contributed significant humanitarian work. In the wake of the US election results, I think she is an apt choice for connecting with for intercession.
I'm a biased St. Joan D'Arc follower, but hear me out. She was the crux of saving her home country from the very literal brink of being lost to Britain in a war that spanned a century. She rallied the last skeleton crew of the remaining French monarchal power that had all but been defeated already, and helped to take their name and land back from the English. I will be continuing to pray to her regularly to help find ways to fight for our freedom and remain courageous. I encourage others to do the same if you pray to her, or would like to start.
While I wish I had a suggestion for a saint to pray to for the LGBTQIA+ community, as they are adopted through history (St. Sebastian) or are not strictly official. But there are some interesting perspectives to find online, I just couldn't find a saint I could comfortably name with my whole chest for this particular group. I was intrigued by some responses on this Quora thread on the matter in question.
As always, these are only suggestions based on my imperfect research, as I am still newly navigating my reclaimed faith. If you have other patrons to recommend, please add them in a reblog so that others may learn about them.

On April 3, 1982, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. married Emily Ruth Black, whom he met at the University of Virginia School of Law. Kennedy and Black separated in 1992 and divorced in 1994. On April 15, 1994, Kennedy married Mary Kathleen Richardson, a close friend of his sister Kerry, aboard a research vessel on the Hudson River. Kennedy has six children, two with Black and four with Richardson.
During his marriage to Richardson, Kennedy was known among his friends for sending explicit nude photos of women that they presumed he had taken, according to Vanity Fair. He reportedly engaged in multiple affairs during the marriage. His friends later called him a "lifelong philanderer".
On May 12, 2010, Kennedy filed for divorce from Richardson. On May 16, 2012, Richardson was found dead in a building on the grounds of her home in Bedford, New York. The Westchester County Medical Examiner ruled the death a suicide due to asphyxiation from hanging. Before her death, Richardson had discovered Kennedy's personal journal from 2001, in which he recorded sexual encounters with 37 different women. According to Kennedy, Richardson passed the journal along "to her sisters with instructions that, if anything happened to her, [it should be] published in the press".
Following her death, Kennedy won a court case against Richardson's siblings to have her buried alongside fellow Kennedy family members in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Centerville, Massachusetts, instead of a location closer to her siblings in New York. Shortly after her burial, Kennedy had her body disinterred and moved to a now marked grave in an empty area of the cemetery, and bought 50 plots around Richardson for future interment of Kennedy family members. The exemption for marital rape was struck down in New York in 1984. On October 27, 2016, a local Finnish tabloid, Ilta-Sanomat, reported an allegation by Ninni Laaksonen, Miss Finland 2006. Laaksonen appeared with trump on the Late Show with David Letterman on July 26, 2006. Laaksonen claims that before they went on the air, trump grabbed her buttocks. As Laaksonen describes the interaction: "He really grabbed my butt. I don't think anybody saw it but I flinched and thought: "What is happening?" Someone later told Laaksonen that trump liked her because she looked like his wife, Melania, when she was younger. Almost all the world's constitutions are documents in which governments tell the people what their privileges are. Our Constitution is a document in which 'We the People' tell the government what it is allowed to do. 'We the People' are free. This belief has been the underlying basis for everything I've tried to do these past 8 years.
An informed patriotism is what we want. And are we doing a good enough job teaching our children what America is and what she represents in the long history of the world? Those of us who are over 35 or so years of age grew up in a different America. We were taught, very directly, what it means to be an American. And we absorbed, almost in the air, a love of country and an appreciation of its institutions. If you didn't get these things from your family you got them from the neighborhood, from the father down the street who fought in Korea or the family who lost someone at Anzio. Or you could get a sense of patriotism from school. And if all else failed you could get a sense of patriotism from the popular culture. The movies celebrated democratic values and implicitly reinforced the idea that America was special. TV was like that, too, through the mid-60s.

You know, four years ago on the 40th anniversary of D-day, I read a letter from a young woman writing to her late father, who'd fought on Omaha Beach. Her name was Lisa Zanatta Henn, and she said, 'we will always remember, we will never forget what the boys of Normandy did.' Well, let's help her keep her word. If we forget what we did, we won't know who we are. I'm warning of an eradication of the American memory that could result, ultimately, in an erosion of the American spirit. Albert was born on 20 August 1845 in Igołomia, on the outskirts of Kraków Congress Poland, as Adam Hilary Bernard Chmielowski.
He was the founder of the Albertine Brothers and Sisters, and one of the saints who inspired the vocation of the young Karol Wojtyla, the future Pope John Paul II.
Born into a wealthy and aristocratic family, Adam was the oldest of four children.
Actively involved in politics from his youth, Adam lost a leg fighting in an insurrection against Czar Alexander III at age 18.
In Krakow, he became a popular artist and his talent in the subject led him to study in Munich and Paris.
A kind and compassionate person, Adam was always deeply aware of human suffering and felt called to help those in need. 
Realizing that God was calling Him to a life of service, he returned to Krakow in 1874, determined to dedicate his talents to the glory of God. 
Instead of continuing his work as an artist, he decided to care for the poor and became a Secular Franciscan, taking the name Albert.
In 1887, Albert founded the Brothers of the Third Order of Saint Francis, Servants of the Poor, known as the Albertines or the Gray Brothers. 
Then, in 1891, he founded a community of Albertine sisters, known as the Gray Sisters.
The Albertines organized food and shelter for the poor and homeless of any age or religion. 
Albert preached on the great crisis that results from a refusal to see and aid the suffering individuals in society.
In 1949, Pope John Paul II, who was at the time Father Karol Wojtyla, wrote a well-received play about Albert called Our God’s Brother. 
The Pope later said that he found great spiritual support for his own vocation in the life of St. Albert, whom he saw as an example of leaving behind a world of art, literature, and theater to make a radical choice for the priesthood.
Brother Albert died on Christmas Day, 1916. 
Pope John Paul II beatified Albert on 22 June 1983 and canonized on 12 November 1989.
The Church celebrates St. Albert’s feast day on June 17.

“To embrace, to embrace – we all have to learn to embrace the one in need, as Saint Francis did. There are so many situations in Brazil, and throughout the world, that require attention, care and love, like the fight against chemical dependency. Often, instead, it is selfishness that prevails in our society. How many “dealers of death” there are that follow the logic of power and money at any cost! The scourge of drug-trafficking, that favours violence and sows the seeds of suffering and death, requires of society as a whole an act of courage. A reduction in the spread and influence of drug addiction will not be achieved by a liberalization of drug use, as is currently being proposed in various parts of Latin America. Rather, it is necessary to confront the problems underlying the use of these drugs, by promoting greater justice, educating young people in the values that build up life in society, accompanying those in difficulty and giving them hope for the future. We all need to look upon one another with the loving eyes of Christ, and to learn to embrace those in need, in order to show our closeness, affection and love.”

Bl. Richard Langhorne, 1679 A.D. English martyr. Born in Bedfordshire, he was educated at the Inner Temple and worked as a lawyer. He was arrested in 1667, released in 1679, and then arrested again as a conspirator in the so-called “Popish Plot.” He was hanged at Tybum on July 14. Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha, 1680 A.D. Patron of the environment and ecology. Kateri was born near the town of Auriesville, New York, in the year 1656, the daughter of a Mohawk warrior. She was four years old when her mother died of smallpox. The disease also attacked Kateri and transfigured her face. She was adopted by her two aunts and an uncle. Kateri became converted as a teenager. She was baptized at the age of twenty and incurred the great hostility of her tribe. Although she had to suffer greatly for her Faith, she remained firm in it. Kateri went to the new Christian colony of Indians in Canada. Here she lived a life dedicated to prayer, penitential practices, and care for the sick and aged. Every morning, even in bitterest winter, she stood before the chapel door until it opened at four and remained there until after the last Mass. She was devoted to the Eucharist and to Jesus Crucified. She died on April 7, 1680 at the age of twenty-four. She is known as the "Lily of the Mohawks". Devotion to Kateri is responsible for establishing Native American ministries in Catholic Churches all over the United States and Canada. Kateri was declared venerable by the Catholic Church in 1943 and she was Beatified in 1980. Work is currently underway to have her Canonized by the Church. Hundreds of thousands have visited shrines to Kateri erected at both St. Francis Xavier and Caughnawaga and at her birth place at Auriesville, New York. Pilgrimages at these sites continue today. Bl. Saint Camillus-Patron of nurses and the sick. Born in Naples in 1550, St Camillus was very tall, (six foot six) and, as a young man, hot-tempered and a wild gambler. He spent some time in the Venetian army fighting the Turks before contracting a disease which left him lame in one leg. He then lost everything through gambling. For a few months he worked as labourer for the Franciscans. During this time, he experienced a change of heart and tried to join the order, but his health prevented this. Instead he offered himself to the hospital of San Giacomo in Rome. In time he became bursar there.
Later, on the advice of St Philip Neri, Camillus offered himself for the priesthood. He was ordained on Pentecost of 1584 by Lord Thomas Goldwell, Bishop of St Asaph, Wales, (and the last surviving Catholic bishop of Great Britain.) Camillus then retired from his service at the hospital, and he and some companions moved to the Hospital of the Holy Ghost, where they assumed responsibility for the care of the patients there. His nursing order later became known as the Camillians. Members of the Order devoted themselves to victims of Bubonic plague, in their homes, in hospitals and prisons. Some rowed out to look after galley slaves on war ships, others went to the battlefields of Hungary and Croatia, setting up the first recorded 'military ambulance unit'. The large, red cross on their cassock remains a symbol of the Congregation today. This was the original Red Cross, hundreds of years before the International Red Cross Organization was formed. St Camillus was a pioneer in insisting on fresh air, suitable diets and the isolation of patients with contagious diseases. He set up 15 houses and eight hospitals working in them personally himself. He suffered a number of serious illnesses himself, but continued working almost until the day he died, in Genoa in 1614. He was canonised in 1746. THE DESCRIPTION OF SAINT ELIZABETH OF PORTUGAL The Queen Consort Feast Day: July 4
Elizabeth, daughter of Peter III of Aragon and Constance of Sicily, and the sister of three kings: Alfonso II and James II of Aragon and Frederick III of Sicily, was born in Aljafería Palace, Zaragoza, Kingdom of Aragon on January 4, 1271. At 10 years of age, she was given in marriage to Denis of Portugal, and bore two children, Alfonso, later became Afonso IV of Portugal, and Constance, who married King Ferdinand IV of Castile. Elizabeth is the great-niece of another saint - Elizabeth of Hungary.
Eventually, her prayer and patience succeeded in converting her husband, who had been leading a sinful life. She was modest in her dress, humble in conversation, and charitable towards the poor. It was her habit to provide lodging for pilgrims and to procure dowries for the poor girls of the kingdom.
One of the best moments of her life was the miracle of the roses. Caught one day by her husband, while carrying bread in her apron, the food was turned into roses. Since this occurred in January, Denis reportedly had no response and let his wife continue.
Elizabeth would serve as intermediary between her husband and Afonso, during the Civil War between 1322 and 1324. The Infante greatly resented the king, whom he accused of favoring the king's illegitimate son, Afonso Sanches. Denis was prevented from killing his son through the intervention of the Queen, when she, in 1323, mounted on a mule, positioned herself between both opposing armies on the field of Alvalade in order to prevent the combat. Peace returned in 1324, once the illegitimate son was sent into exile, and the Infante swore loyalty to the king.
In 1325, after the death of her spouse, she retired to the monastery of the Poor Clare nuns, now known as the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha in Coimbra, and entered the Third Order of St. Francis, devoting the rest of her life to the poor and sick in obscurity. During the great famine in 1293, she donated flour from her cellars to the starving in Coimbra. She was also known for being modest in her dress and humble in conversation, for providing lodging for pilgrims, distributing small gifts, paying the dowries of poor girls, and educating the children of poor nobles.
She was a benefactor of various hospitals (Coimbra, Santarém and Leiria) and of religious projects, such as the Trinity Convent in Lisbon, chapels in Leiria and Óbidos, and the cloister in Alcobaça.
She died on July 4, 1336 on her way to Estremoz Castle, where she was supposed to settle a family quarrel. She was called to act once more as a peacemaker, when Afonso IV marched his troops against King Alfonso XI of Castile, to whom he had married his daughter Maria, and who had neglected and ill-treated her.
In spite of age and weakness, the Queen-dowager insisted on hurrying to Estremoz, where the two kings' armies were drawn up. She again stopped the fighting and caused terms of peace to be arranged. But the exertion brought on her final illness. As soon as her mission was completed, she took to her bed with a fever from which she died, and earned the title of 'Peacemaker' on account of her efficacy in solving disputes.
Elizabeth was beatified in 1526 and canonized a saint by Pope Urban VIII on May 25, 1625. Her feast is also kept on the Franciscan Calendar of Saints.
Since the establishment in 1819 of the Diocese of San Cristóbal de La Laguna (Canary Islands, Spain), Saint Elizabeth is the co-patron of the diocese and of its cathedral pursuant to the papal bull issued by Pope Pius VII.

There are days when I wonder is there any hope, and am I just spinning my wheels.
    I wonder because all I see is hate, anger, selfishness; a car drives by, two well dressed men get out and beat me up and tell me not to report child trafficking; a merchant walks out of a store and throws water saying "Its your fault these homeless are out here in front of the store because you feed them, get out;
I have seen young men shot, and stabbed, one committed suicide on zoom, so is there hope or are we just "animals."
The author talks of our human history going back to the development of our mammal ancestors 225 million years ago, and takes us on a journey of following our evolution to the present.
His basic point is that we humans developed at first into cooperative, loving creatures, and as we evolved into wanting more and more we became violent human beings, arguing, and fighting between the "in /out" groups.
Presently I see one group as the "homeless". They are mistreated, have no rights, hassled on the street, with the political leaders wanting to force them into treatment, we do not have, and so on.
The politicians impose their will on a segment of people as they have always done. We have the "ins"--housed, have money, predominantly white and the "outs"-- poor homeless.
"People  talk about imposing social programs because the recipients were
lazy and not hard working like  with racist, culture, and creed claims.
This is the journey of all minorities.
    And this is the week of St. Francis of Assisi, the founding of Temenos Catholic Worker and Society of Franciscan Workers,  twenty nine years ago on this date, and the choosing of St. Francis and St. Damien of Molokai as the patron saints of Temenos.
    St. Francis spurned violence and privilege. He reached out to members of other religions. He cherished the earth and all of its creatures. He pointed to a new form of human and cosmic community, marked by love and mercy. And did all this with a Spirit of joy and freedom.
As Carlo Corretto, remarked:
"I Think St. Francis of Assisi is in the depths of every human  being."
Plumb your depths, look into yourself, and you will find St. Francis!

Heretics and Mendicants: Embracing the Diversities of Christian Spirituality While Struggling with our own Errors.
One of my favorite historical periods has been the 13th century. There were many developments and achievements that happened around medieval Europe that would impact our own society and define much of what we know today. One of the developments during that period was the diversity of thought and spirituality that emerged with various religious movements. Eventually history would define these as heresies or acceptable religious movements but, as Fr. Casey tells us in his video above, these concepts never go away. While history does end up judging the movements one way or another, in the moment, they intermingled and helped developed Christian spirituality in a way that responds to the social context of the time. Heresies carries with it a negative connotation but it means diverse teaching that is not completely orthodox.
In 2002 one of my favorite movies of St. Francis of Assisi came out titled Francesco. This movie is in Italian but I consider it one of the most accurate movies that portrays the life and time of this great Saint. In an early part of this movie you see that Francis is in jail after a failed attempt to fight a crusade. He encounters a “heretic” who introduces him to sacred scripture, a privelege that many did not have access to. Although we do not know for sure if this encounter took place, the implication is that Francis may have encountered a Waldensian, a religious movement that embraced the evangelical counsel of poverty and promoted the knowledge of sacred scripture. What we do know is that Francis will eventually develop a movement that truly embraces the poverty of Christ through the mendicant order that bears his name. The Waldensians will eventually fall out of favor with the Church for its radical departure from Church structure while the Franciscans will maintain its similar spirituality while respecting the role and structure of the Church. This is an excellent movie and I certainly recommend it.

Fr. Casey highlights heretical movements that have a strong influence in our own society. He raises the following: arianism, docetism (gnosticism), monophysitism, pelagianism, and donatism. I have said before that I think it is important to follow the socratic formula, “know thyself and to thyself be true.” This would include owning and embrace diverse ways of thinking and even having recognize that sometimes we have a tendency to follow some ideas that may not be completely orthodox. For those of us who follow a specific creed because we believe in the tradition of that religious belief we may want to struggle with the unorthodox principles that we have. When I say struggle I do not mean that we stop believing in the concepts that we may question but to balance what our God-given conscience tells us about our faith and belief system with the magisterium (teaching authority) that we respect. We may need to suspend aspects of our belief until we can reconcile them (if we can) with how our magisterium teaches this. If we cannot do this then we may have to vote with our feet as it were. I believe that St. Francis teaches us how to strike this balance with the Catholic Church. 
Two of these heresies have been also raised by Pope Francis in his exhortation Gaudete et Exsultate. He raises his own concern for contemporary gnosticism and contemporary pelagianism. Our Holy Father offers the following definitions for these two prevelant forms of modern day Christian heresies. 
Gnosticism presumes “a purely subjective faith whose only interest is a certain experience or a set of ideas and bits of information which are meant to console and enlighten, but which ultimately keep one imprisoned in his or her own thoughts and feelings”. (GE, #36)
Those who yield to this pelagian or semi-pelagian mindset, even though they speak warmly of God’s grace, “ultimately trust only in their own powers and feel superior to others because they observe certain rules or remain intransigently faithful to a particular Catholic style”. (GE, #49)
To any who follow my blog, you may have recognized that I have a tendency to follow a semi-pelagian spirituality. This post is an example of where I embrace certain teachings of Pelagius, the fourth century monk. I have also raised my own concern for how contemporary gnoticism has threatened religion and politics in America in yet another post. These heresies, along with arianism, have impacted the form of Christianity that we believe in here in the United States. As Fr. Casey points out, the form of arianism that we face is the secular type. Arianism allows us to have a Jesus that is anything less than divine. Many secular Christians seem to prefer having a Jesus that is a teacher, philosopher prophet, or moral examplar. He is up there, but not quite the Son of God. This is a belief system that appeals to secular Christians but not so much the members of the faith community. Those of us who identify as Christians and confess the divinity of Christ teeter between the gnostic/pelagian heresies.   
Modern day gnosticism/docetism allows Catholic conservatives to promote a narrow interpretation of the faith that fits a political ideology. It’s a heresy that glorifies the divinity of Christ while denigrating (or gently dismissing) his humanity. A causalty of this is that the material/secular world is condemned as evil or irredeemable. In many ways this ideological control of the faith has resurfaced this heretical form. It has made an historical comback throughout history, during the 13th Century this heresy was identified within the Cathar movement. In today’s era it is surfacing in forms of conservative evangelism intermingled with alt-right indoctrination. It is my opinion that in the American Christian context this is the greatest heresy threatening our own Christian spirituality.
But then you do have people like me, those of us who are neither relativist secularist (arianism) nor conservative ideologues who politicize Christianity into an anti-secular religious doctrine (gnosticism). We are the ones who toy with semi-pelagian ideals and yes, we are capable of jumping into the heretical waters as well. In response to gnostic tendencies those who follow this spirituality articulate a form of lived Chrstianity that can respond to the invitation to follow the imitatio dei from the discipline of our own free will. Fr. Casey and Pope Francis’ reminds us is to never forget the role of God’s grace in our own salvation. In my case, I respond against the passive ideological spirituality that American gnostics have by employing a live faith and pursuing the mission of Christ in promoting social justice through service and advocacy. My error is to assume that I can bring about this vision through my own devices and in my own time, my heretical tendency will lead me to embrace the sin of my own hubris. To combat this error I must acknowledge the need for God’s grace and to accept that this mission is His and not my own. Jesuit spirituality allows me to dabble with this spirituality while being attentive to these heretical tendencies.          
Christian spirituality is very diverse and there is nothing wrong with that. The Nicene Creed allows us to have a doctrinal baseline that defines the faith for Christians. Beyond the creed we are allowed to embrace a diverse way of practicing the faith. In a previous post I mentioned my own diverse Catholic spirituality and rituals. The various mendicant and monastic communities demonstrate that distinct ways that religious communities allow Catholics to practice their faith. They all recognize the fundamental evangelical counsels: chastity, poverty, and obedience, but beyond that their spiritual charism are very diverse.

Albert Chmielowski was born on 20 August 1845 in Igołomia, on the outskirts of Kraków Congress Poland, as Adam Hilary Bernard Chmielowski.
He was one of the saints who inspired the vocation of the young Karol Wojtyla, the future Pope John Paul II.
Born into a wealthy and aristocratic family, Adam was the oldest of four children.
Actively involved in politics from his youth, Adam lost a leg fighting in an insurrection against Czar Alexander III at age 18.
In Krakow, he became a popular artist. His talent in the subject led him to study in Munich and Paris.
A kind and compassionate person, Adam was always deeply aware of human suffering and felt called to help those in need. 
Realizing that God was calling Him to a life of service, he returned to Krakow in 1874, determined to dedicate his talents to the glory of God. 
Instead of continuing his work as an artist, he decided to care for the poor and became a Secular Franciscan, taking the name Albert.
In 1887, Albert founded the Brothers of the Third Order of Saint Francis, Servants of the Poor, known as the Albertines or the Gray Brothers. 
In 1891, he then founded a community of Albertine sisters, also known as the Gray Sisters.
The Albertines organized food and shelter for the poor and homeless of any age or religion. 
Albert preached on the great crisis that results from a refusal to see and aid the suffering individuals in society.
In 1949, Pope John Paul II, who was at the time Father Karol Wojtyla, wrote a well-received play about Albert called Our God’s Brother. 
John Paul II later said that he found great spiritual support for his own vocation in the life of St. Albert, whom he saw as an example of leaving behind a world of art, literature and theater to make a radical choice for the priesthood.
Brother Albert died on Christmas Day, 25 December 1916, due to stomach cancer in the shelter that he had established.
Pope John Paul II beatified him on 22 June 1983 and canonized on 12 November 1989.
The Church celebrates St. Albert’s feast day on June 17.

Who are you? 
If I were asked to describe myself, I would say that I am contended even in the smallest things. I like to keep smile on my face no matter what I am going through and that's smile keeps me going. My name is Samantha Ballesteros, 17 years of age and I was born on December 12 2005. Living in a simple life in Barangay San Jose Cuyapo Nueva Ecija. I'm studying at Saint Pius X Institute which is a Catholic School. When it comes to my personality, people can have different opinions to me because they see what they want to see in me and that's okay. So, I would describe myself as a perspicacious person because I see myself from in different aspects. I'm an extrovert and I like to meet people and interacting with others. In decision making I would say I am not very proud of my strategy and I'm still depending on my parents opinion. I consider myself an open book because I am sharing important details about my life with you without a worry. I also have a couple of jokes and I love to make people happy which I bring joy from time to time to lighten the mood. I am reliable but very short-tempered, I lose my calm if not understood properly. Good or bad this is me trying to take risks the world as it is. When it comes to my hobbies I feel a great sense of enjoyment from playing with my dogs because it gives me a lot of happiness and they are always there for me when I need someone to talk about my problems. I also entertain myself by doing the things I want like watching, reading, playing badminton and going out with my family/friends. I am as humble as a dove, I can never say no to anyone because just like a dove I want to shed a light of hope to everyone who is in need. I have always been to learn new things and achieve good grades. As a person, I believe life is an art full of struggles but we are the artist of our life and it is up to us on how are we going to solve and surpass those problems that will come. I am here to encourage you all to not give up and keep fighting no matter what life throws at us. Life is a gift and it should be treated with love, care and respect. All in all, I believe that my experiences and relationships with others plays a great role in building me for who I am today.
How are you? 
For me I can say that over the last few months and years I have been okay and happy. No matter how difficult life and many problems come I am happy that I have solved them in my own way and with the help of my family. My experiences before were like staying at home and being stopped from face to face classes due to the Covid19 pandemic. It was not easy because the things that I used to do suddenly changed and many adjustments were made and it's difficult for me as student on how to handle or dealing with it but God has his plans, he helped me to study and answer the modules as how I used to be while at home. There is also a limit on going out, so we can't go out with my friends and we only use cellphones to communicate during those times. Now I'm happy that even in the small way everything is going back to what it was before like a normal life. I experienced going to school to study and bond with friends again and being careful about the things I do, because of what happened it also helped me  to get myself better.
I believe that life is a never ending experience. Our strengths and weaknesses are essential part of our overall learning process. It helps us to become more well rounded individuals.  As we go through our life it is important to learn who we are and have the ability to grow from our own strengths and weaknesses. For me my strengths is my family and God because they are always there to guide me in life. Being kind to myself as well as others. My love for them and ability to fully understand someone without having to talk to and  simply  relate. My weakness is my mother because every time we talk about it I feel sad because she left us when I was a child and until now we don't even communicate with each other. It hurts but I always think that there is a reason why she did that and I hope someday we can see each other. Being a shy person and not so confident when speaking in front or by doing something.
Among my strengths, I realized that these will help me grow as a person and they inspire me to work hard. It's either might positively or  negatively affect I know that I did my best, and there is no doubt. I will get better because I know they are always there to support me. In my weaknesses if there was a one person in the world  that I knew better than anyone else, shouldn't that person be myself because I know that even though I grew up without a mother by my side to guide me, I'm still lucky because my father and my grandparents took care of me and loved me from the beginning. As  for my behavior that I have and that affects my weaknesses, I realize that I must face it and always believe in myself.
