Now that I'm at home, we were requested to make a prototype of a stage that should be like 10 minutes long... at this rate and I'm going to call the level "MY CHEMICAL PLANT ZONE" because I'm like drawing inspiration from that level in Sonic 2 as I'm a noob at this so I guess borrowing some of alternate routes from it will be helpful.

Ack, that means I'm going to really need to do that running animation... Let's see after I do a PFP for a friend if I'll have enough stamina to sketch the running animation of Spamton 🏃‍♂️

While I was having my breakfast I asked a friend on Discord about what I should draw while in class because I decided to at least draw with the pencil daily during the 2 recess times between classes. His reply surprised me (and made my day, honestly).

Spam and Sears just having a dinning date at a popular burger location. I didn't decide the topic, but they both looked cute there so... Drawing from memory with a brain that only slept almost 4 hours, and the sun cooking my noggin and making the page so bright I was trying to make some shade by hunching like a crane trying to fish, is like not the most optimal setup to do art. BUT ART I MUST.

From the daily sketches I need to do to keep practicing with the pencil. Dual request: @alandove ➡ Wortox from "Don't Starve Together"

@fragonreal ➡ Kevin from "Spooky Month".

I was like wondering what height Wortox would have in a normal setting, but guess this size is nice for the effect.

Oh, and about the running animation of Spamton, still on it, still on it. I also discovered that my program exported the animation and ate 3 frames so it looked choppy. I need to redo all of the workspace I was preparing for pixel arting everything 😭

Today was a busy day at class and had no free time to draw something for my Addihommies 😗 We were given an assignment to make AR markers and attach a custom model of our own. The first was to make a game of rock paper scissors. The second one was a free theme. Guess what was my theme of choice 😜 Anyway it felt cool to have Spamton come out of my scribble. You can attach any model of your liking to any drawing as long as it's well defined against the white background.

Another doodle made during class. It's @lil-nightx3 's Conan, going fishing at the Starlit Lake by suggestion of Lafay (my navy Addison) and borrowing his "blessed with protection against the Deep Ones" boat. Unluckily Conan got too close to the border of the Starless Landing and dredged something weird from its abyss 👀

(I corrected a typo and added a bit more of detail but now I don't know how to delete the old one from the app of the phone 😅 Will fix that later at home >_> nevermind It was by holding the picture for a second and then drag It to the bin)

OK I corrected a few things, and increased the timing because before it exported like in 0,04 seconds, and maybe that was way too little? Increased it to 0,06 so that the movement reads better. I'm no animation expert, I just wing it as I go. I know that in different screens (mine, the laptop at class, phone) show the animation at different rates, which is annoying but it is what it is.

I know for a fact that during the game the speed rate of the animation will vary, also I'm going to make that whenever you tilt the stick of the gamepad, it will go from walking and start sprinting 🤔

In all, the basic animation stages are done and I shouldn't be asked to do more by the teacher. Will leave the attack animation in the backburner for now. I need to advance the 3D comms today, but as always my life is not under my control and my time is stolen by tyrants that happen to be my relatives... Anyway, until the next post.

Another self-indulgent picture that was laying about incomplete for a long while. I don't know how to label this... Is some form of "Rodgersona" or my self-insert (I'm still a noob about fandom nomenclature in general). I love Glisten and I want to protecc him 💔

Anyway, will be back to my normal fandom in a few days, but I'm still doing several commissions at the same time (a ton of Digimon art!) so it will take a while (hopefully no more than a week, because I still NEED to get a bunch of commissions to fill up my quota to buy food, water and pay internet).

And woooo I made it above 100 posts. I wasn't very confident about it because I was told Tumblr wouldn't be as engaging as other platforms, but I was impressed by how active the community and the fandoms in general were in here. I'm loving Tumblr and I love you guys for existing and keeping the ball of brainrot rolling to feed our creativity and our hearts with positive vibes and much much love 💌 (we all need it!)

Belated b-day thingy / Halloween mood

I just wanted to give something nice to the boss because by the time I knew about their birthday, it was too late 😭 Wanted to draw some Addison OC at the same time (and practice a few things), also as half apology for not being able to finish their 3D avatar yet because I'm still without a GPU OTL (but I haven't forgotten about it and will resume 3D the moment I manage to get some kromer to buy it -- I has 2 pending models Dx).

Addison OC called CEO belongs to @fragonreal (I has a weird tendency to gravitate towards villains). CEO is wearing a Grell costume by the way. Hope it puts a smile on you 🎁

As anecdote, I've RP'd Grell in the past before the existence of Discord, and we had the head canon that he was trans and bi. Forward to the future and that headcanon turned into canon. I'm happy about that because I liked that character a lot.

During the second break I tried to do some research about my Spex [[TAQUIÖN]] (Barón Ludo for friends and allies). Because he's stylized after being an undead robot made from old casino machines and other broken mechanical parts, I'm still wondering his design. I found that his dreadocks (made from cables connected to his skull) are able to be manipulated and pull machine parts from his body to fabricate several make-shift appliances like an old phonograph (that plays old music) 🎵, a blender (with a ludicrous potency), a microwave, a radio, a rotary phone and an old black and white CRT TV 📺 Only one appliance can be fabricated at a time and he dismantles them again when not in use. Makes me wonder if he can make other appliances from all the scrap parts he used to build his body 🤔 Who would want to hang out with a lich Spex that stores living manniquins of Addisons in a coffin and that has Zandalari accent? ⚰️ He's so dead from his design being long overdue since last year...

For now only that. I think I've made quite the progress today with the Spamton's storefront, but now the teacher asked us to make a room for the Animal Crossing avatar, and I'm still not over with the previous character nor the storefront! Fortunately the Animal Crossing stuff is to be delivered this next 25th so I still have time for that (if nothing bad happens before that). Anyway, an excuse of blog update. Back to the grind.

Cooked fast as I could what I left this Saturday. Problem is that my room-mate booked 2 hours of my scarce hours I had left to complete this before midnight, and is already 1 AM (and I need to wake up at 6:30)... The idles are missing but that's just flavour. At least the basic sprites are there and ready to be used in Unity for the class of this Monday. Hope my teacher likes it, because she's gonna need to get used to me spamming Spamton in all my future projects with her lol

I made some kromer coin to collect too. Remember that I created that currency in the past? So I minted it for the prototype (couldn't animate it, I gots no more time 😭)
