It’s the last day of March which means it’s the last day to sign up for the Stationery Subscription if you haven’t already and want to get your hands on these glittery gold dogwood cards! . I’m obsessed with this design but because it’s so time intensive it’s unlikely they’ll be added to my shop and if they are, they’ll be infinitely more expensive than the monthly subscription fee (that’s kinda the point, right?). . I just love this design so much - my favorite pair of earrings for the longest time were some vintage dogwood studs (until I lost them 😭) and I even tried to plan a dogwood tree in my front yard last year (but the deer killed it 🙄). So I was super excited to find this dogwood design on an antique postcard in a stack labeled poppies lol. Here are my #tulip themed #spring #cards I #made today! 🎨 Materials and Methods For this part please check out my instructions for my lavender cards one post before this one! The only adjustment I made were that for the second #card I used #vellum and taped the middle part on the front. Therefore I don’t used an overlapping part I glued on the back because it didn’t need to flip. ℹ️ An important and honest information for all who see this and my story will be not avariable anymore and also for possible similar posts: There was a test one which didn’t turn out as wanted. I loved making this card for several reasons. First, the design comes from several different illustrations. The bonus is it’s perfect for just about anything. It’s good for Mother’s Day but it’s also just good for a “hey, what’s up” kind of letter, or a “I’m sorry you’re having a crappy time” kind of letter. I used some time of the day to realize my #springcard #idea ! A while ago, I got a new paper pads with #lavendar and rose themes and I already had an idea how to use them in a very special way. Only the middle part of the #card opens up to reveal the message. 🎨Materials and Methods (includes non-paid advertisements) Required: - ( #floral ) #diecut (I used a circular fitting one) - A6 cardstock (purple) - A6 pattern paper ( with matching #florals to the diecut) - #waterbased markers / #watercolor / #watercolorpencils - A5 cardstock ( #green ) - tools (scissors, glue, if liked bone folder,…) First I diecut the floral die (premade could be also used) and colored them with a brush, water and the #ink of @decotimecrafts #aquamarkers . Next I glued a piece out of my @craftsensations paper pad to my purple cardstock. Than I cut the A5 sized green card stock along the longer side about 1/3 of the piece apart and folded the 2/3 part in the middle vertically. Than I added to one of the half glue tape and adhered it placed in the middle of the back of my card and added on the front the colored diecut .
