Hyaku vs Winifred have been living in my head rent free for like. four days. They bring me SO MUCH joy. so many scenarios... soo many thoughts... woowaoh.....

I'd ramble but this is an art post and I don't want it to get too long hehae

i will say this song makes me think of them, sort of thinking of it as Winifred being like "I just want to be safe and be left alone, wtf is your problem? Why can't you leave me alone?" kinda deal

i had so much fun drawing this, i got a new outline brush and it made shit real fun. PLUS. i kept adding to Winifred's hair hehaehabzf

Bonus, Hyaku's bottom hands are supposed to be doing the "Bring it on" motion

OH HYAKU IS ABSOLUTELY GLUTTONY. I didn't talk about this a lot i figured id go into more detail when i made more art but Hyaku is very carnivorous! there's themes of like.. raw meat and such

Greed: Gadreel (reasoning: that one video that from the Black Friday musical. I don’t know who owns this character. Sob)

Pride: Alice (reasoning: once she gets her powers she become a little shit that is so unbelievably full of herself to anyone who crosses her)

Lust: Vennie - owned by @just-a-lil-otter (reasoning: part succubus)

Gluttony: Hyaku - owned by @jacenotjason (reasoning: feeds off of others negative emotions. That’s it. That is all I’ve got. I’m trying here lol)

So. His name is Hyakuashi (百足)! but he goes by Hyaku as a nickname :D

So at first i was really picturing him with pink

not sure why. it was just pink. but i realized he REALLY looked like an oc already. I CANNOT REMEMBER WHO IT IS and it drove me. nuts. PLUS he didn't look at all like a centipede.

IF YOU KNOW. WHO THIS IS REMINDING ME OF. like you look at this and youre like "hey that looks like ___" PLEASE TELL ME ITS DRIVING ME NUTS LMFAO

I also tried teal accents that didnt work either. its fun tho!! neon pink + teal is a fun combo ehe

then, bc the centipede he's based off was pretty orange/yellow i tried that, but he looked. too orange. he looked LIKE an orange.

then i just decided to fuckin color drop directly from the centipede he's based on (a chinese red-headed centipede) which resulted in this!

still sort of a mess, but we're GETTING SOMEWHERE

then JB showed up in my DMs with, i counted, FOURTEEN COLOR PALETTES.

so we got somewhere finally!!!

then i spend too long coming up with his name bc i kept getting distracted. here's the stuff that got rejected!!
