hi hi hi everynyan !! forgot to update u guys on how my day went yesterday so here it is hihi :3 long text under cut !
THE YEAR END PARTY WAS SOOO FUNN !!!! although it started a bit boring, the games helped to set the mood :)
the first thing that we did after the prayer was the runway show where we had to show off our clothes and the student teachers and our adviser were the judges :) was very shy when it was me and my partner's turn but still fun. our vice president and auditor looked sooo good together !! even as friends, they still match each other :) our vp's outfit was pretty too, doesn't really fit the christmas vibe, but still pretty regardless !!
the first game was bring me !!! still a bit boring (for some) but the way my classmates rushed to bring the items was funny. they almost DRAGGED our adviser but they ended it after he refused.
second game was pass the message !! it was a bit fun bcus a lot got to participate in it :)
the third game was trip to jerusalem !! its where we dance around chairs that are arranged in a circle, once the music stops we have to get to sit on a chair or else we'll get eliminated ! managed to stay until the fourth round before i got eliminated </3 THE ENDING WAS SO ANTI CLIMATIC LOLOL classmate 1 didn't run to get to the seat, only classmate 2 did </3 STILL FUN THOUGH !!!!
the fourth game was paper dance !! this was one of the most chaotic games they played bcus it was by partner !!! and our adviser picked the participants, all of them were ships that he made up lololol here are some pictures !!! the couple with the red heart ended up winning :) they're also the most shipped in the class along with the guy with red jacket w/ the girl with white floral dress ! ^_^ hope they got a video of this game bcus it was genuinely fun !!! the whole class were squealing and yelling
Tumblr media Tumblr media
after these games was food time !!!! i also ate a pizza for the first time ( DON'T judge ), it was the cheese pizza from greenwich ! it tasted like ensaymada (?) with a hint of ketchup .. didn't eat the crust bcus it was too hard for my liking ... ATE MOST OF IT THOUGH YIPPEE !!! the mango bango was good :) a bit bland but still good !! didn't like the other one bcus it tasted like yoghurt .. sour & warm .......
after this was the awarding !!! the officers came up with an awarding for the whole class, it was for who's the class clown, prettiest girl, etc etc ! didn't win any of them but got veryyyy close to the smartest girl (one vote diff) the results were sent to our gc :3 got surprised bcus i saw my name on the quietest girl list with seven votes ... got one vote for face card and clean freak <3
we also played two more games after this ! one hula hoop game and one where they have to pop the balloon on the other participants lap, they asking kung sino daw gusto maputukan </3 SO BASTOS TALAGA ... it was fun tho !!
after the party, i went to sm manila and fine arts museum !! bought three bead rings from a stall inside sm and two sketchbooks from national bookstore !! wanted to look around some more but i still had to go to the museum and it looked really gloomy outside, i was afraid it'll rain and i'll get stranded in sm 🥹 luckily, it didn't !! and my walk to the museum went fine :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
some pictures i took before entering >_<
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and some pictures from inside !!!
the spolarium will never not amaze because wow. it's extremely beautiful and everytime i look at it, it makes me feel like i'm inside the painting and hearing how the bodies are dragged ... i could stare at it all day and never get bored of it. its size also caught me off guard the first time because i never knew that it was this big ! it quite literally can swallow me whole. and i'd let it ! my goal visiting the museum was to see amorsolo's exhibits again !! he's definitely my favorite filipino painter !! absolutely adoreeee his sketches !!! every line he drew has a purpose and they never feel out of place ! and the way he draws faces is just so 🥹🥹🥹 almost cried while looking at his paintings </3 ( oa mode on )
can't add any more pictures so i'll just add them to another post !
visited the night market near the bonifacio shrine ( kkk statue ) and bought a lemonade ! it was sweet and refreshing :) sad that i only got the medium size and not the large </3
PHEW THAT'S ALLL !!!! this day was fun and i enjoyed it a lot :) glad that my decision of attending the year end party gave me joy instead of making me sad and regretting it :'3 i actually intended to stay in the museum longer but my feet were crying and begging me to let them rest </3

The thing about AI art isn't that it's generally a bad thing, but due to the fact that people use it to steal others' works, which is wrong in general. You wouldn't someone to base off your hard work and sweat without credit.
Other than that, if you genuinely think actual artists who can draw whatever the fuck they want at any given time are not better than AI, and then continue to rely on AI, the future will end with people who don't know how to use a pencil, look at historical paintings and wonder how people did all this without technology, which is kinda sad.
AI art would not have been a problem if your main reason of use for it is to have a basis on something, or, even better, medical pictures that can contribute to letting people have a visual of physiological and biological issues that can actually benefit them.
But if it's to steal work, discredit real artists, then that's so stupid because your ass might have gotten it in a few seconds but buddy this is why you suck at art projects that require using your hands for any general subject before AI was popularized.
Cause it will be so disappointing when a future era looks at the Mona Lisa, The Spolarium (and this is a floor to ceiling framed painting), or The Last Supper and think "Wow how did they do this without AI and make it look great?" It's just sad to imagine.

AP is the best subject.
My name is Justin Ryan F. Patino, and my favorite subject is AP it is so fun and Ms. Ybanez is the GOAT, she is very funny and can teach us new things easily, she even shows us alot of movies that are fun and education.
Tumblr media
PERSONAL DETAILS: Here's some things i learned in AP, let's start with Heneral Luna's story, Heneral Luna's full name is Antonio Narciso Luna de San Pedro y Novicio Ancheta he was born on October 29, 1866 but he sadly died on June 5, 1899 (aged 32) he died at Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija, First Philippine Republic
SIBLINGS:
His older brother, Juan, was an accomplished painter who studied in the Madrid Escuela de Bellas Artes de San Fernando. His Spolarium garnered one of the three gold medals awarded in the Madrid Exposición Nacional de Bellas Artes in 1884. Another brother, José, became a doctor. Yet another brother, Joaquin, fought with Antonio in the Philippine-American War, and later served as governor of La Union from 1904 to 1907. Joaquín would also serve as a senator from 1916 to 1919. His three other siblings were Numeriana, Manuel, and Remedios.
HENERAL LUNA:
He was a fiercely general and wanted to discipline his soldiers and the other Filipinos, He wanted to free the Filipinos from America.
But Emilio Aguinaldo killed Luna because he felt threatened by his power and influence, and because he wanted to eliminate a rival who oppsed his policies. Heneral Luna fought bravely but died from his allies which is very sad this is why Heneral Luna said "The americans aren't the only enemies but ourselves."
Again, I'm Justin Ryan F. Patino and thanks for reading this I hope you learned how Heneral Luna served for the Philippines great thanks to him and all the other heroes, bye bye.

No haiku bot you actually are good with that.
Learning is universal, and what people learn depends on how much they want to learn. These disabled artists who spoke up show that determination.
So no, AI isn't art. They might make pictures, but think of it this way: do you want a future where everyone will look at past paintings (like the Mona Lisa and The Spolarium) and think "How did they do that without AI?" Is that what y'all want?
"ai is making it so everyone can make art" Everyone can make art dipshit it came free with your fucking humanity

A continuation of the Yuchengco Museum Visit.
Nothing much to say. Just a few amateurish thoughts that I want to share about the paintings that I saw.
L clockwise: Painting of Carlos "Botong" Francisco, Fernando Amarsolo, Juan Luna and Felix Hidalgo.
Francisco and Amorsolo (above) are mid 1900's contemporaries while Luna and Hidalgo flourished during the Spanish colonization era. First 2 are considered Philippine's National Artists while the other two were internationally awarded filipino artists in Spain and friends of Philippine's National hero Jose Rizal (Forgive the history dates. Just google. I want to share this with my raw idea)
These are my thoughts with some of their works that I've seen...
1. The National artists paintings show the daily ways of living and culture of Filipinos in the Philippines. From the society's social unit, baranggay to farms and tribes. Luna and Hidalgo on the other hand showed their life abroad, living with the foreigners and their nationalistic view of the colonization in the Philippines.
2. I have known Amorsolo not only as a painter but also as a sculpturist. If I remember it correctly, one of his most popular works is THE OBLATION in UP Diliman. Infront of Quezon Hall. The miniature original prototype (actual sculpture) of the monument was kept in one of the buildings of the University 😓 sorry I forgot where. And I will not mention the model. *****Edited "His most known work is the making of the Philippine flag. Was it an imaginative illustration of a story that he knew or was a still painting? Was he there? I'll check. Well, guess I am wrong. History. Spanish colonization right?"" ""
3. Francisco, is known for creating long paintings, like murals. Watch some documentaries about him. His difference among others? The storytelling of history in series of canvasses. (Forgive if the infos falter, this is raw. Correction later) A master story teller of History... Hmmm... I am wondering if there are other artists who chose this content or rather subject. I will know soon. By the way, the canvass series on the wall is a current known style for decorative wall photos or paintings in interior designing. He has a lot of scenic paintings too.
4. I need to know more about Hidalgo. In other museums maybe. The painting above will remind you of Monet's but I know that it is not his prominent subject nor style. He was with Luna, I know that they worked with the same subject. Similar style too.
5. Luna, most known for his Spolarium, I haven't visited the museum with the gargantuous painting but I know that it is not the original. Saw one of his works in PCSO, I think. It was so small, like an A3 paper size or a couple of inches bigger. So, how can he paint and ship a painting like that from Spain? Where is the original piece? It is sooo precious. By the way, what I immediately notice in this particular painting above is his style. Like animated CG or cartoon. Can be viewed like 3d right?
Artists have their unique way of mixing palettes. Luna obviously has the strongest bold palette with brown and black prominence. Am I wrong to think that Luna and Hidalgo used a primer on their canvasses? The layer of paints looks thicker. Maybe it's a style during their era. Maybe Amorsolo and Francisco mixed their colored palette with white. The palettes are impossibly watery pale. It's white pale. 🤣 TH. Francisco's style above looks familar. Glassy smooth? IDK. I'll stop here. Maybe I can think of better lines next time..
😲🤯No more lines.
Byieee. See you in my next adventure. 😋
😡 no more zits please.

Killer Babe portrait selfie
I am pondering the rumors that abound the 1892 painting “Portrait of a Lady” by Ilocano artist Juan Luna (1857-1899) at the National Museum of the Philippines, in Manila.
Also called “Mi Novia” (My Beloved) or “Portrait of Paz Pardo de Tavera,” which was believed to be a portrait of Luna’s wife Maria de la Paz Pardo de Tavera y Gorricho (1862-1892) whom he married in 1886. Unfortunately, Luna murdered his wife and mother-in-law Juliana Gorricho y de los Santos (1842-1892) on the same year of the completion of the painting, due to his jealousy that accused her of having an affair with a certain Monsieur Dussaq. During the altercation Luna also injuring his brother-in-law Félix Gorricho Pardo de Tavera (1859-1932).
The question about the painting is that the image of the woman is very much different from actual photographs of Paz, which leads to speculations that Luna may have also another lover. But the greater mystery around the painting is the rumors that it is cursed due to its tragic history, as objects near the artwork seem to move and the lights around it flicker and shut off.
Juan de San Pedro y Novicio Luna (1857-1899) was an awarding winning painter in Europe for his large works. In 1881, Luna won the silver prize for his painting “La Muerte de Cleopatra” (The Death of Cleopatra) at the Madrid Exposicion de Bellas Artes. In 1884, he won the gold prize for his work “Spolarium” at the Exposicion National de Bellas Artes, in Madrid. In 1887, Luna received a Diploma of Honor for his work “La Mestiza en su Tocador” (The Mestiza at the Dressing Table) and two more awards for “La Batalla de Lepanto” (The Battle of Lepanto) and “Rendición de Granada”(The Surrender of Granada), at the Exposicion General de Filipinas, in Madrid. In 1890, Luna was welcomed to the exclusive Societe Nationale de Beaux Arts, in Paris, for his work “The Ragpicker”. And in 1904, Luna won the posthumous silver award for his 1886 work “El Pacto de Sangre” (The Blood Compact) at the Saint Louis Exposition, in the United States. With all these awards, he had a certain clout in European society, even if he was part of the Reformist Propaganda Movement that sought the equal rights between the indios (natives) and Spaniards in the Philippines. That clout and his Masonic linkages kept him safe from harm, even after he murdered his wife and mother-in-law after a fit of jealousy. He was exiled back to the Philippines, where acted as a negotiator with the Americans, during their occupation of the Philippines. He was later exiled to Hong Kong, where he died in 1899.
There are questions why Luna is never mentioned in the history of art, despite his awards. That is because Luna was a master of the academic style, whereas he was working in Paris where modern art was already established in the city. Noted modernist artworks created that same time as the “Mi Novia” are:
1892 “Arii Matamoe” by the French artist Eugène Henri Paul Gauguin (1848-1903)
1892 “At the Moulin Rouge” by the French artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1864-1901)
1892 “In Bed: The Kiss” by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec
1892 “Rouen Cathedral: Sunset” by the French artist Oscar-Claude Monet (1840–1926)
1892 “Two Women in a Field” by the Dutch artist Johannes Sixtus Gerhardus Verkade (1868-1946)
1892 “July” by French artist Maurice Denis (1870-1943)
1892 “Medusa” by the American artist Alice Pike Barney (1857-1931)
1892 “The Spirit of the Dead Watching” by Paul Gauguin
1892 “The Japanese Bridge at Giverny” by Claude Monet
1892 “Le pin de Bonaventura a Saint-Tropez” by the French artist Paul Signac (1863-1935)
This picture was taken circa 2015, during my regular explorations of Metro Manila documenting its historical landmarks.

At the Museum of Fine Arts
Amongst the many places, we chose the Museum of Fine Arts. I love Fine Arts. We get to have a tour guide also. We walked from NCAA to the Museum of Fine Arts. At our back is the Spolarium Describing the painting to me It is a whole lot different when you have a tour guide with you. You get to understand the art works better, how they are arranged. So if you get to a museum, ask if you could…

FIRST TIME
First Time Travelling with Classmates was so fun. This was my first time joining a tour in our school back in 2019, My mother let me join in our tour because teachers said in the meeting that this tour will be having a plus points in our grade, that's why my mother Joined me. This tour is in Manila, This is also my first time to go there in Manila. We took the bus and my friend requested that we sit next to each other, so I told this to the finance office to put us next to the list. While we were going to the Manila Cathedral, the one who was with us on the bus was vomiting and not feeling well. For our first time traveling, this is one of our problems because we are not used to traveling. When we arrived at the Manila Cathedral, we went down and took pictures here. We spent almost 1 hour here just to appreciate the Cathedral. Next we went to the National Museum of Fine arts. The spolarium by Juan Luna opens up to us. It was explained to us what the story of this Painting really is. And at the National Museum, we went around and were given time again to appreciate the different arts that are inside the museum.
After the National Museum we went to Gardenia. Here we were taken inside the factory of different types of bread. Almost everything is done by machines until dividing the bread and putting it in plastic is also done by machines. As we circled here, I realized that the era is really different now, Everything is done by machines, maybe soon people will lose their jobs because everyone is doing their work by machines. After we went to Gardenia, we went to the Enchanted Kingdom. This was my first time to come here, and I was given a chance to come here. When we got off the bus, we went to the entrance to enter, I still had all my food with me because I thought I could put it inside. So I returned to the bus to leave my food inside and I didn't realize that my friends were already inside and I was the only one left outside.
Tumblr media
When I went inside I was not with anyone and I was sad because I called my friend they were already on the Ferris wheel and I was the only one left at the bottom, I went around the Enchanted Kingdom without them because I was separated from them. I rode different rides to enjoy this tour. I made the most of that opportunity because I knew I would only experience it once so I didn't think twice about not enjoying it. I did everything to enjoy that moment. I even used up my allowance because I bought a few tender juicy hotdogs even though they were expensive (sarap kasi) So when we got back to the bus, my allowance was used up when we stopped at Jollibee to eat dinner, I didn't get off and I didn't I bought dinner because I used up my allowance. As I remember that moment, I realize that you have to save yourself from other things because it is difficult to find in the time of need. When my allowance ran out, at least one of my friends didn't lend me a loan, so I couldn't buy my dinner. But I bought a gift for my family. At least I enjoyed the tour that took place. My "First Time" has come a long way
