I’m bored, and I see other people make master posts, and so will I. This will be a master post of all my random writing stuff. Why am I doing this? Like I said, I’m bored. Not to be too long, I will be making a master post of set and one big easy-to-click full of links. I might do one of these for my OCs.
This is for my Lego Monkie Kid fics.
These are the ones I have posted.
Peach Fight: One lone peach has a family of monkeys going after it who will win the prize and gets to eat the peach. No one knows. (This is part of an AU) It's on my Ao3 page and Tumblr.
Split Monkey Family: Like my other AU, MK is the adopted son of Wukong and Macaque. They got into a huge fight, and Macaque leaves. Only to find out that he's going to have a cub. Macaque is raising Yue Yan on his own, and Wukong doesn't know he has a daughter. Once in a while, Macaque will visit MK. A03
These are my Lego Monkie Kid fics I never posted. Monkey Family AU: Peach Fight is from this AU. MK is Wukong and Macaque's adopted son. They found him one day in the area Wukong hatched from the stone egg. They didn't know if he was a stone monkey like Wukong or not. Later they find out he is. My OC named, Yue Yan, is their biological daughter. She was six ears like Macaque, still just a little cub. (I will post this when I write more.) Unnamed Story: This has another OC of mine named Ty Mae. She is Sun Wukong's mate, and Macaque tries to use her to get to him only to fall in love with her himself and becomes a Yandere towards her. (I'm not sure if I should post this since there is a rape scene in it. I don't go into detail.)
Unnamed Corrupted/Possited Wukong fic: Wukong has a crush on reader, and once Lady Bone Demon takes over him, his crush sky rocked, and he acts like a Yandere. He tries to fight it before he does something he will regret. ( I didn't post this because it's a dark, angsty fic. I'm not sure if anyone would like/read it.)
Triad/Mafia AU: Wukong the Dragonhead just got rid of a rival and added their territory to his own. There me met a nice girl that works at a tea shop, but at night she is a Karaoke Queen. (I haven't posted this because there are a lot of Triad AUs. I'm also not sure if I should put another OC in here or have it be a reader fic.)
Another Unnamed Corrupted/Possited Wukong fic: Lady Bone Demon nearly has everything she needs to put her plan into place. She just needs to take care of something. While going, her new champion Sun Wukong is ordered to keep his one girl safe and not let her out of his sight. (I didn't post this because it's only an idea and notes.)

I have been going insane about the not beloved au.
The idea and sheer emotions of it just cling to me and haven’t left me for days and I blame you. Just the idea of [User] not only not being the beloved- but in a way being solely viewed that way- and in a sense being completely treated as such where it is very obvious- just- I love it.
The pure angst potential with the au is there and I -‘ screeching about it.
Y/N’s Not The Beloved?
(Monkiefam)
Exactly- Y/N is so heavily defined by being “not the beloved” that it kinda becomes their entire character.
Just like some people get jammed into slots they’re undeserving of by born traits or mere appearances, Y/N is out here getting pigeonholed into the “not our favorite” just because MK is the little monkey demon that their parents dreamed of having for so long.
And it doubly sucks ass, because Sun Wukong and Macaque are such good parents to MK that any criticism on your part will be questioned and “debunked” by well-meaning peers who probably just see you as “spoiled” or “jealous”.
Like, imagine this: your classmate, Y/N, is the adopted child of the fucking legendary hero, Monkey King. He’s married to; of all people, to the infamous Six-Eared Macaque. They have an adorable adopted son who is also a demon monkey.
And if what Y/N has to say about this whole family dynamic is “they spoil my brother too much/love him more than me/expect me to constantly look after him” and like…
From their perspective?
Bitch! You are privileged beyond compare and comprehension! You have two unimaginably powerful parents! They could crumble a civilization and raise a new from the smoldering ashes! They could impose themselves as gods and demand proper tribute! And instead they adopt a silly little mortal out of the goodness of their hearts, and you have the gall to “whine” about it not being enough?
Some of your classmates get beaten for bringing home bad grades? Some of them have dead parents? And a few were disowned for being queer! Others live in filth! Some have literally nothing! Why are you so damn “ungrateful”, Y/N?!

And then desperately trying to explain that yes, you are grateful for them and everything they’ve done, it’s not right for you to miss out on fundamental life experiences just because MK didn’t want you to go, or to nearly flunk a test because you couldn’t sleep on account of MK demanding your attention, or to lose friends that you were never allowed to hang out with because MK didn’t like them.
It’s especially bad in the situation that Y/N is particularly young, around say… under thirteen, or maybe semi-verbal, if they’re shy or anxious, and they haven’t learned how to properly communicate and express themselves in a conducive and effective manner, which leads to exchanges where what Y/N says is utterly ineffective at conveying what they mean, like:
“My parents love MK more than me.” (My parents unhealthily prioritize him even at a cost to myself.)
“Aww, sweetie! He’s just new to your house! You’ll get used to him!”
“I have to babysit MK so much that I don’t get to hang out with my friends.” (My budding social life is beginning to crumble under the weight of being a caretaker to my little brother.)
“You’re such a good older sibling! I bet your parents are really grateful to have a babysitter on hand!”
“MK wanted to go somewhere new yesterday, and he made our dads take me. I didn’t get to sleep.” (MK’s immediate happiness is becoming more important to both of our fathers than my physical health.)
“I bet you all had a lot of fun if you’re this tuckered out, huh? You’re lucky they took you!”
It gets to the point that Y/N, as they grow up, turns to the internet for validation and support in their life, probably to results that are equally split towards positive/negative.

“NTA- Clearly your fathers do not respect your health or feelings! Pack up and move out!”
“I can’t move out though? We live on a sacred mountain and I’ve never had a job because they make me babysit MK instead.”
“ESH cause y’all sound exhausting. I’d beat the fuck out of this “MK” TBH. What a brat.
“He’s nine though??? WTF dude?”
“Honestly all these NTAs and ESHs are so confusing clearly OP is a fucking ungrateful brat who’s gonna regret pushing their family away when they’re alone and have nobody. MASSIVE YTA kiddo.”
“I just want to stay home and sleep because I’m tired as hell from all the other family trips that I went on with my family? This is the first time I’m saying no?”
And slowly growing more and more ostracized and confused by everything in their nonconventional little family and how MK’s obsession with them is both fueled and enabled by Wukong and Macaque’s obsession with him, all slowly heading to a peak-
And when you snap, you are inevitably going to snap hard.

The town Mountain View was split, two sides of one coin: the Northside and the Southside.
When you walked through the Northside, the buildings screamed money, all the brick houses were the standard two stories with white picket fences protecting the front yards, a vegetable patch on one side and a swing set or monkey bars on the other. Housewives on their daily power walks with their french bulldogs on leash, the dog bags not being the only plastic they carried on their bodies. Bentleys and Rolls-royces parked in driveways and along the streets, a blinding shine coat on the body and one of those stick-figure family stickers on the back windows. Husbands returning from their high-paid office jobs decked with suits, briefcases and enlarged egos — all aiming to outclass one another with their yearly salaries and perfect families (at least, a facade of a perfect family). Students with their A+ grades and their private school uniforms, all hiding a social-shattering secret from their parents — whether that be cheating classes, smoking weed or fucking the neighbour’s mum when they’d go clean their pool.
All of it was like a page torn out of a high-end magazine or a scene cut from gossip girl.
But when you cross the tracks to the Southside, everything darkens.
Compared to the Northside, the Southside looked like utter trash. Multiple abandoned buildings that were now overrun by unfortunate homeless people, the only two shops being open was a small milk bar and an actual bar where all the residents drank themselves further into depression. There were few full houses, all of them practically crumbling to the step, but many caravans and trucks throughout the large self-made caravan park. Instead of cars through the streets, it was motorbikes owned by the strong-build, tattooed biker gang members: all of them wearing the same leather jackets that read ‘The Black Pirates’ with their logo on the back. Though the community was smaller, it was stronger than the Northside. Everyone had struggles and no one ever considered themselves to be superior to someone else.
The town was glued-stuck in a hierarchical system: rich vs poor, clean vs dirty, scholar vs drug addict. Each side was set to despise each other, the only one seeming to be somewhat in the middle being the mayor of the town, always attempting to keep the peace between each side.
So when the news broke that the Southside High School suddenly burst into flames over summer, the placements of the students turned the town into a frenzy. Parents of the Southside students worried that the lack of a school building will increase their kids chances of an, already, shitty education. And the Northside parents biggest worry was having the new students be put into the private school (not like they could afford it), and cause havoc and distractions on their perfect children’s education. The moment the mayor put out a statement saying ‘all junior students will be sent to Greenfield High School in the next town over, and all senior students will be sent to Mountain View Academy’, parents threatened to remove their students from the school and even leave the town for good.
And some people actually did because they believed themselves to be so above the “southside scum”. In reality, we all bleed the same colour even if the Northsiders claimed they bled gold.
Everyone expected the worst from the new students, but were they really that bad or just completely misunderstood?
Only one way to find out.
‧˚₊•┈┈┈┈୨୧┈┈┈┈•‧₊˚⊹
“I can’t believe they’re coming to our school!” Yeosang huffed through the phone, falling back onto his bed and watching you on the screen as you speedrun the holiday homework that was left for the last minute: a stressful habit that occurred every school break. “AND they get to go here with no school fees at all! It’s completely unfair to us, why do we have to pay?”
“Our parents pay, not us.” You chuckled, a dramatic offended gasp leaving him as his hand clutched his chest like he was suffering a heart attack. Your best friend was a very dramatic person, overly dramatic some might say but it was one of your favourite things about him.
“Are you sure you aren’t just scared that you’re gonna see Wooyou-”
“Hey!” Yeosang shouted, causing you to slightly jump at the abrupt loudness. “I thought we agreed to never say that name or talk about that person again.”
The mood change within him was instant, memories of his past friendships flooded into his brain as he was reminded that tomorrow, they’d see each other again after all these years — possibly even be in the same homeroom. You felt bad for bringing it up but unfortunately for him, it was necessary.
“I’m sorry,” you apologised in a whisper, a small sense of guilt climbing over you. “But really, how are you feeling about seeing… him… again?”
Yeosang’s eyes avoided the screen, moving around his bedroom and claiming new interests in the walls and roof.
“I-I’m fine.” He stuttered, his voice cracking slightly before his eyes met yours. “I’ll be fine.”
But that was a lie.
In reality, he was terrified to see his ex best friend once more. The friendship that was held strong between them since they were seven years old, their parents struggling to separate them at the end of school days and most ending in a sleepover at the other's house. The friendship that followed its way into high school, even after Wooyoung moved in the second year, they still managed to see each other every single day. The friendship that Wooyoung ruined the moment he joined The Black Pirates and started committing petty crimes and snorting any sort of substance he came across.
Yeosang tried his hardest to help him, desperately wanting to save him from early death, but Wooyoung countered it with harmful words and even more harmful punches. It was that day that Yeosang vowed to himself to never talk to Wooyoung again.
He still remembers the last fight as if it were yesterday and not four years ago.
“Youngie, please! You can’t keep doing this to yourself, it’s destroying you!” Yeosang pleaded, the tight grasp on Wooyoung’s hands trying to hold him back from leaving. “Please, I can help you.”
“I don’t need help!” Wooyoung yelled, yanking his hands away from Yeosang. He ran his fingers through his hair, gripping tightly at the roots before dropping his arms to his sides.
Yeosang stared at him in disbelief, never seeing this side of aggression from his best friend before, and it was terrifying. The redness of Wooyoung’s face, especially around the eyes and nose was the only hint towards him that this was not his normal self-
“Are you kidding me…” Wooyoung moved his heavy eyes to Yeosang, his friend’s face masked with grief and sadness and his eyes glossed over with tears that threatened to spill. “You’re high right now, aren’t you?”
“Fuck off.” Wooyoung scoffed, a subtle yet very telling swipe of his nose indicating that, yes, he was in fact high. “You don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about.”
“Wooyoung, please-”
“No! I’m so sick of this shit Yeosang!” Wooyoung shouted, stepping forwards as Yeosang backed himself into the wall, his frame blocking him in. “Ever since I joined The Black Pirates you’ve been so fucking annoying about it, saying I’ll get hurt or killed but look, I’m completely fine! Why can’t you just be fucking happy for me that I fit in somewhere?”
“Because you’re not fine!” Yeosang uses the strength over Wooyoung to push him harshly away, his feet losing balance and almost toppling over himself. It was so obvious that he was not Wooyoung, not really. “I know you’re not, I know you better than anyone!”
That ticked something in Wooyoung’s brain. Whether it was the words that came out of his best friend’s mouth or the drugs that penetrated his system and pressed hard on the anger inside him, something clicked.
Wooyoung lunged forward with a tight flying fist, planting a harsh punch to the side of Yeosang’s face. His body fell harshly to the ground, the pinch of pain instantly clouding his eye and preparing to leave a purple bruise. He glared down at his teary eyed friend, wincing as his hand softly grazed the affected area — but Wooyoung wasn’t done.
He climbed atop Yeosang’s body, his weight now holding him down as he began setting punch after punch onto his face. The strikes were agonising, not because of the contact but because of the person initiating it. Tears streamed down Yeosang’s puffed cheeks, burning the sensitive skin and being spread around by Wooyoung’s fist. He cried out desperately for him to stop, but Wooyoung’s ears were blocked by fury, smoke practically steamed out of them.
“Youngie- Please, it hurts!” Yeosang begged, his voice croaking from the heavy emotions between them. “P-please, stop!”
With one last blow to his jawline, Wooyoung finally ceased his aggressive motions, breath heaving above Yeosang as he covered his face with his hands and wiped away his tears. Wooyoung stood up and scowled down at the boy, a clob of spit flying from his mouth and landing on Yeosang’s chest.
His heart broke into a million pieces when he heard Wooyoung’s final words. “You don’t know me at all.”
And a few days later, you had been partnered with him for a school project and haven’t been able to get rid of him since.
Actually, he hasn’t been able to get rid of you.
You had never gotten the displeasure of meeting Wooyoung he who shall not be named, only hearing the stories and seeing a few photos, but you didn’t like him. Not one bit. Not after seeing the effects he left on your best friend, both the physical evidence and the emotional. Though he was a bit dramatic, Yeosang was one of, if not, the sweetest person you knew. So knowing that someone could hurt him so bad, someone so close to him as well — it didn’t sit right with you. I mean, who could hurt a person as pure as the driven snow, a man with not a single bad bone in his body.
“So, what homeroom are you in?” Yeosang asked, swiftly trying to change the topic.
“Uhh… I think I’m in Homeroom 710-”
“Nooo!” He whined, the fake tears beginning to fall but you just laughed. “I’m in Homeroom 715, this is a scam.”
Yeosang began to fake cry once more, quickly stopping and looking at the phone screen to make sure you were watching him before continuing. All you could do was laugh at him. He continued to complain about everything coming up tomorrow whilst you finished off the last few lines of your homework. You will never understand the concept of homework, why are we learning stuff at home when we’re meant to learn it at school?
You weren’t the best school academically but you were all of the teacher’s favourites purely based on your kindness and helpfulness within the classes, you were always the person to be put with the new students and be their guide for the day. There was a worry in the back of your mind that you would be chosen, once again, to show the new students around. And you were okay with that, frankly you didn’t care about all the new students and the possibility of them “ruining the education of the good ones”. Your family was rich but they were one of the few who were snobby rich, and you were taught to never judge a book by its cover.
But imagine if you had to be the guide for the school for your best friend’s enemy, that'd be the biggest betrayal to his moral loyalty, even if the choice wasn’t yours.
Once you finished the final dot, you packed up all your school supplies into your bag, sitting it next to your laid out uniform; which you only did so you could be more prepared in the morning so you could sleep in and avoid going to school for as long as possible.
“Anyways, I better go to bed.” Yeosang sighed, already snuggling himself into the duvet. “Gotta get my beauty sleep.”
“Yeah sure… I’ll see you tomorrow,” You scoffed and climbed into your own bed, plugging your phone into the charger quickly: it had been sitting on 3% for about an hour. “And you know, you can talk to me about anything, right?”
Referring to your previous conversation, you could see the hurt on Yeosang’s face when it was brought up, almost feeling it through the phone. He was never good with confrontation, always let things go because he was too afraid to speak up. And the one time he did speak up, he got multiple hits to the face so it didn’t leave the best impression. He simply nodded before saying goodbye and hanging up-
“WAIT! Did you hear about-”
The call didn’t end until 2am.
‧˚₊•┈┈┈┈୨୧┈┈┈┈•‧₊˚⊹
Waking up the next morning, you already dreaded the pressures that the final year of school was gonna put on you. With the extra homework, more intense classes, mid-year and end-of-year exams, college applications — not to mention the constant questions from adults around you about what you’ll do once you’ve finished school, since you have to have your entire life planned and prepared the moment you enter the real world. If the “real world” was the one you entered once you finished school, then what world was the one you lived in for the past 18 years?
You shook the thoughts out of your head, promising to yourself that you wouldn’t start to overthink them. Quickly throwing on your uniform, the white button up covered by the navy blue and maroon school colours of your blazer and plaid skirt, a neat tie placed under the colour.
The perfect private school look, worn by many perfectly imperfect teenagers.
“Morning pumpkin, breakfast is on the table.” Your mum joyfully smiled as you came down the stairs. Your father hurriedly packed up the last of his things into the briefcase before kissing the both of you on your cheeks and heading off to run his company.
“Do you need a ride to school this morning?”
“No it’s okay,” You say before sitting at the table and sipping on your tea. “Yeosang is picking me up.”
“Didn’t he crash his car because he got distracted by a squirrel on the side of the road?” She asked with a small raise of the eyebrow.
“Yeah… he’s still a good driver though?” You answered, slight uncertainty turning the statement more into a question. “I think…”
Your mother chuckled lightly before sitting next to you with her toast and coffee. The toast crunched under your bite, crispy crumbs falling on your neat blazer before being swatted off by your mother’s hand.
Though your family was part of the more fortunate side of town, you were the most humble of them all. Unlike the other mothers who let their husbands provide for them and were content with being housewives, your mother worked from home for your father’s company, reading over and sorting out papers her husband would bring home. He would always rely and trust the opinion of her rather than any corporate douche who was only in it for the pay rather than the impact. Your family also still loved each other, though divorce was unusual in the community: a loveless marriage was not.
Before any of the usual morning conversation could start, loud booming music could be heard outside with a few knocks to the door. Pulling your bag over your shoulder and bidding your mother farewell, you opened the door and was greeted with your brightly smiling best friend.
“Have a nice day, angels!” Your mum shouted before you both left and got into his, newly repaired, car.
“Isn’t she beautiful again!” Yeosang exclaimed, gesturing his hands around the car, the familiar dented bumper no longer visible and covered over with a shimmering new coat.
“Yeah, make sure no rogue ants distract you.” You joked landing yourself a small punch to your arm, which you returned to him slightly harder.
“To be fair, that squirrel was climbing the tree backwards,” He justified, turning the key and pulling at the handbrake before moving off down the road. “Who wouldn’t look at that?”
The car ride was short yet jovial, the playlist cued with your favourite songs and the carpool karaoke blocking out all current worries, and any noise from outside. Turning down the side street, the large school building finally came into view. Built tall with bricks, both a muddy red and a softer cream colour, large arch windows placed symmetrically along each wall. The grand staircase that led up to an arched entrance, young and new students already filing into the building to be earliest to class. A clean walkway tracing around the courtyard, soft cherry blossom trees outlining the path and sitting atop freshly cut grass.
Yeosang pulled into the student car park, directly into his specially designed spot that all year 12s painted at the end of last year. One bump to the curb and a small ‘oopsies’ from Yeosang and you were ready to leave the car. Closing the door, you looked up at the excessively large building, it still felt as intimidating as your first day. The sudden reminder that the school year has officially started finally kicked in, along with the anxiety.
“Ready to enter hell?” Yeosang’s sarcastic voice pulled you out of your thoughts, quickly nodding before linking arms and wandering up the path and towards the entrance.
The courtyard was laced with students, all the older ones hugging and catching up on their holidays to Bali or Fiji, multiple white girls with low-key cultural appropriated braids and beads in their hair. New students being hurried along by their parents to meet up with the teachers that were scattered around, all desperate to get their kid ahead by offering up different types of fruits or souvenirs.
You continued to walk through the courtyard and finally up the grand concrete stairs before Yeosang stopped and pulled at your arm lightly. Looking up at him, you saw the discomfort in his expression before following his eyes to meet a group of students being lectured by the principal. Scanning through the crowd, you recognised none of the students, all of them being the new transfers from the southside.
Finally, your eyes met where Yeosang’s stare sat, a group of four boys huddled out of the way and seeming to not pay much attention and all owning the same thing: a black leather jacket with a large patch on the back. A skull with a pirate hat sitting in front of a sword that had ropes tied around it, the words ‘The Black Pirates’ sewn above it in a banner style — each jacket having a different name written underneath.
One boy was tall, extremely tall and had a strong build yet a soft face, short dark brown hair with a few blonde streaks in it. The boy stood next to him slightly shorter yet with a larger build, as if his muscles had muscles, his face as serious as a heart attack. Then your eyes fell on a familiar face, though you had never met him before, he looks exactly like his instagram photos. Wooyoung; he who shall not be named; your best friend’s ex friend and your designated enemy. He was the shortest of the four, a cocky smirk and rolled eyes were masking his face as the principal spoke. His hair was cut into a mullet style, the underneath dyed blonde, the hairstyle he hadn’t changed since he and Yeosang were friends — the hairstyle Yeosang suggested for him, but only they knew that.
And the final boy, the most relaxed and comfortable looking of them all, and also the most handsome. All his facial features were sharp and created with extreme precision; his jawline as sharp as knives, and his eyes held a piercing gaze for anyone who looked his way. His broad shoulders lent up against the wall and his arms crossed, obvious muscular biceps pushing through the leather sleeves. His hair was jet black with a few strands falling over his face perfectly shaping his cheekbones.
Before you could stop staring, his eyes met yours before glancing over your body and back up. He shot a wink in your direction as he followed the principal’s group through the school doors. Unusual butterflies began to flourish in your stomach at the interaction, but pushing the feelings and thoughts aside quickly and focusing back on Yeosang.
“Hey, are you okay?” A worried look appeared on your face as you watched his thoughts fly around in his head, noticing the glassiness of his eyes as they met yours.
“Y-yeah, I just…” He blinked away any reminiscence of possible grief, not wanting to show the effects that one glance at he who shall not be named does to him. “I didn’t expect to see him straight away.”
You squeezed his arm gently before nodding your head to go inside. He wiped over his face before sending you a soft smile and following your lead through the doors, where once inside, Wooyoung and his friends were nowhere to be seen — for now.
From students organising lockers to the ones standing and chatting in the middle of the hall, you trudged your way through until returning to your locker, Yeosang’s located just a few away from you. Swirling the lock left then right to the numbers of your code, it clicked open and the dreaded textbooks stared back at you. On the door was two clipped polaroids: one of you and Yeosang from his sixteenth birthday party, and the other of you and-
The feeling of long arms slithering around your waist caused you to jolt backwards, your back being met with a strong chest. Spinning around in the arms, you looked up at your giggling boyfriend before he leaned down and placed a soft kiss on your lips. The familiar warmth made you melt into his embrace as he pulled away.
“Hey baby, did you miss me?” He smirked and cocked an eyebrow, quickly dropping his arms from your waist and leaning against the open locker door, a move he’d pull on you to tower his large frame over you.
“Yunho, why didn’t you tell me you got back?” You smiled softly, love filling your eyes as you watched his wander around the familiar halls before meeting yours once more. “And of course I missed you.”
“I only got back yesterday, and I was too jet lagged and fell asleep before I could text you.”
“It’s okay, we can talk about your amazing summer in Europe at lunch.” Reaching up for another kiss, the ring of the first bell cut you short.
Hastily gathering your books and shutting your locker, you waved to Yeosang as he walked in the opposite direction before following Yunho into the classroom, thankfully sharing a homeroom together. As you walked in, your homeroom teacher mentioned that this year was assigned seating to reduce distractions of sitting next to friends — seriously, are we twelve?
Tracing your finger along the drawn setup, you found your seat number, your name and your partner’s name. The name didn’t sound familiar to you, automatically recognising that you were seated next to a new student, most likely a southside one. Of course. Since you hadn’t been assigned to give any tour guides, of course they would still place a new student with you. But you had an open mind, the only thing worrying you was it being a guy who sat next to you with your boyfriend being an easily jealous person. It took him so long to understand that Yeosang and you were just friends, and had never been or never would be anything more. You even ignored the fact that Yunho was sitting next to his best friend, a girl who was desperately in love with him and who he had left you to help multiple times.
The second bell rang through the school, the majority of students now seated with books open in front of them. Your homeroom teacher, Mrs Waltz, began to read off the attendance followed by ‘here’ and ‘present’ of student voices. The sudden sound of the door opening interrupted her flow, the principal’s head poking in before fully entering.
“Sorry to interrupt Mrs Waltz, I just wanted to make sure all the newer students made it to all their classes." Mr Kim stated, moving over slightly to gesture the few new students in, though you weren’t paying much attention and were distracted by jotting down the start of your notes.
“Of course,” She smiled, pointing to her drawn up seating chart. “Your seats are written up on the wall here.”
“Everyone, please be welcoming.” Mr Kim lectured before leaving and returning to his office.
The rustling of southside footsteps mixed with the judgemental whispers of northside students filtered the classroom, Mrs Waltz quickly continuing her lessons. Too invested in your notes, you didn’t notice the figure that plopped down in the seat beside you. You glanced back at Yunho who had a small scowl on his face, more aimed at the person next to you, but returning him with a small understanding smile.
The person behind him caught your attention as you recognised the oreo coloured hair to be Wooyoung’s. You were annoyed that he was in your homeroom, but also filled with gratitude that he wasn’t in Yeosang’s, losing the ability to belittle and distract him. Accidentally ignoring the person next to you, a throat clearing cough brought your attention to him.
“Hey princess, do you have a pencil?”

Monk and Monkey, Back Together
Summary: Qi Xiaotian has been kidnapped by a cult. When Wukong raids the cult's compound, he finds a familiar face.
A familiar face, yes...but the same personality? No.
Notes: A birthday gift for @unseelie-robynx, based off their Cult AU (basically Tang Sanzang goes nuts after splitting his soul and starts a cult in Wukong's honor) and the fun AUs that branched off.
-_-
Sun Wukong was furious.
Stories had been told of his fury, of the always burning rage that lived deep inside him, no matter how calm or collected he seemed. Wukong, when he was younger, didn't mind the stories. He was always up for a fight, no matter how Macaque complained. As he grew older and more tired, he had found himself worn out.
He was too old to be angry.
Not right now, however. Now, Wukong was a burning ball of rage.
Qi Xiaotian, his successor, his star, the thing that made him get up in the morning, was gone.
Had been stolen.
Wukong hadn't known for two days, not until Pigsy called him (he had no idea how he got his number) to ask when the kid would be allowed to leave in order to come home. The confused "What are you talking about? The kid's not here." sent Xiaotian's family and friends scrambling.
Wukong had first assumed the kid had been courtnapped, but his search provided nothing but Red Son offering his help. He had next assumed Heaven, but the gods up there had no idea Xiaotian even existed, excluding Nezha. Macaque had come to him first, allowing Wukong to ransack his properties to kick him off the list. Which left them with no clues.
Not until Xiaojiao had cornered Yin and Jin.
"All we heard was that there was some cult, out in the Gobi!"
"Yeah, yeah, there were rumors that they stole some prince!"
"Maybe not your prince, but it's worth a look-see, right?!"
They were right, it was worth a look-see. Wukong had even given them a headstart before calling Nezha about his stolen stuff.
Down below, he could see what appeared to be a temple. It was done in white and gold, the roof gleaming like a star in the sunset. If this was any other situation, Wukong would brush it off as a ruin. But it looked too new, too kept, to be anything beyond the location he was looking for.
Wukong jumped off his cloud and landed right in front of the gates. He slammed his foot into them, and they banged open, revealing a courtyard. It was empty, but that wasn't what made him stop.
It was the giant gold statue of him.
Sure, plenty of statues of Wukong existed. But none had been as big as this one, depicting him dressed in his finest garments and holding the staff. Despite the warlord dress, he was shown with a gentle, almost loving smile, his hand reaching down to the flower-decorated base as if to offer help. If this was any other case, Wukong would love it.
Now, it just felt creepy.
Wukong eyed the statue as he marched into the pagoda of the temple. He threw open the doors and felt his brows raise higher.
The temple was decorated with him. The walls were done with tapestries and paintings of him and his victories, both on and off the journey. The floor was tiled with peach flowers, matching the flowers that lined each piece of art. In the center of the pagoda was a large pool, flowers gently bobbing in the water.
Once again, there was another statue of him sitting in the center of the pool. This one was dressed more simply, smiling at a baby monkey, both wearing flowers. More flowers were piled at the base of the statue, which must've been the source of the floating flowers.
Even weirder, it was dead silent.
"Where is everyone?" Wukong looked around, wondering if he had missed guards or assassins lurking in the shadows. Nothing met his eyes. However, that was second to the more disturbing thought working his way in.
Was this cult dedicated to him?
As a rule, Wukong destroyed cults. A few had sprung up after the journey, with humans wanting to eat Tang Sanzang's flesh in hopes that it would give them immortality as it did demons, requiring Sanzang to be rescued. (Wukong hadn't minded, more than happy to get a chance to see his old master.) One or two had mentioned him, but none had been dedicated to him entirely. He couldn't even see any signs of his brothers in any of the art.
But why take Xiaotian?
Wukong groaned, rubbing his forehead. "I wish Sanzang was here," It wasn't the first time he had made this wish, but the first since Tang and Pigsy and Sandy had taken him aside and delicately told him their suspicions. He had no idea what to think of the idea. But, right now, Sanzang might have been able to offer an alternate view.
But, Wukong was alone. Nobody had come to see what the noise was when he slammed open the doors. So, he took in a deep breath and allowed his eyes to light up in gold.
Above, there was nobody. He couldn't see movement at all. Maybe it was just the fact that he was on the main floor and this was a big compound, but Wukong had a feeling that wasn't it. He looked down.
Bingo. Three gleams, moving about a floor or two down below. None was the bright supernova that was Xiaotian and all his magic, but it worked.
The cult must've moved to another place when they heard that he was looking for Xiaotian. These three must've stayed behind for some reason. Wukong chuckled as he started to move, looking for a way down. Despite it being cheery, it was dark, broiling with emotions.
It was their mistake.
The iron doors were easy to spot, lit by the lanterns that lit everything. They creaked loudly, revealing a small dark staircase lit by only torches. Wukong wasted no time in heading down them. Once he got there, he followed the gleams to a cell. The doors were double unlike the simple barred cells. This must've been where they kept Xiaotian.
Wukong slammed his foot into the doors. They banged open.
"Alright, you guys better tell me where Xiaotian is!" he barked, looking around.
A few things stuck out to him. One was Yellowtusk and Peng, both bound in golden rope and frantically struggling with gags in their mouth. Second were the empty chains. Third was the chair, its back facing him. The fourth thing was the chuckle. "He's not here, my king…"
The chair spun around. Wukong felt his entire being freeze.
"He hasn't been here in weeks." Tang Sanzang sighed, staring at him from the chair. A heartbeat of silence passed. Wukong couldn't bring himself to move. The monk did first, standing up and folding his hands in the gold robes he wore. He looked like he had the day it was announced he was moving back into the cycle of rebirth. "This one…" Sanzang pressed his hand to his chest. "Did his best to care for him when he was allowed contact but the Azure Lion was rarely so indulgent as to allow-"
"Azure? What… I don't… M…" Azure had been in the underworld last he checked. Sanzang had rejoined the cycle of rebirth. Confusion was overtaking his anger, and Wukong felt the fire slowly die. "Master? Is that… I don't understand, what's going on?"
Sanzang laughed, the sound gentle and warm, as he spread his arms. "Would you be willing to allow this one to explain?"
Wukong couldn't help himself. It had… it had been so long since he had hugged Sanzang. He allowed himself to be folded into the monk's arms, leaning his smaller body against the other man. It was warm and comforting and Sanzang even reached up to that small area on the back of Wukong's head to gently scritch where the filet had rubbed his skin raw. It was one of those gestures Sanzang had done in apology. It still made Wukong melt, falling to his knees.
Unlike all the times before, Sanzang followed.
"He stole him," Sanzang whispered, but the noise still carried in the room. "Azure hurt him. He wanted to twist him into what he wanted you to be. He wanted to break his will. He-" A noise of disgust that was familiar in Wukong's mouth but alien in Sanzang's mouth escaped him. "He made him call him Baba."
Baba.
Wukong's stomach heaved. He had always known that Azure hoped that, one day, Wukong would love him back. That they would get married and have children in a warrior's dream. Peng, in a rare burst of spite aimed at Azure, had once told Wukong that Azure had written out possible baby names.
Qíngyí or Míngxiá for a girl. Yìchén or Mùyáng for a boy.
Wukong had never confronted Azure to see if this was the truth. He had kept his silence, hoping his lack of response meant that Azure got the hint.
But he never imagined…Azure was charismatic enough to start a cult, ignoring the question of how he escaped the underworld. But to try and force Xiaotian to see him like that?
"I did my best to help Xiaotian, I swear I tried," Sanzang continued, voice trembling with heartache. Wukong barely noticed Yellowtusk lurch to life, frantically trying to say something through his gag. "He's such a bright boy, he deserves better," Wukong nodded. He did, he definitely did. "But Azure demanded what he thought he deserved."
Oh, kid…
"But, now you're here." Sanzang pulled away to reveal a sunny smile, one rarely seen on his face. "We can find Azure together and bring Xiaotian home. We can fix things, make them right," He squeezed his hands. "Together."
Wukong was confused. He was scared. He was angry. He was-
"OH, FOR FUCK'S SAKE, ANOTHER WUKONG ADMIRER?!" Peng's gag had somehow managed to slip off. The bird angrily squawked. "HE'S NOT EVEN THAT HOT!"
He really wanted to smash Peng into bits.
However, he didn't have his staff. Plus, Sanzang was here. His poor master never got the handle of seeing blood or gore, even when he grew to understand that violence was sometimes the path that had to be taken. Wukong was supposed to be better than that now.
He didn't feel like it with Xiaotian gone, but everyone in the crew felt like that.
"C'mon," Wukong got to his feet, ignoring as Yellowtusk renewed his thrashing, and held out a hand. He fought back a shiver as he remembered the statue, because that wasn't important. Sanzang, taking his hand and rising gracefully to his feet, was. Xiaotian was the most important thing here. "If Azure has him, there's one place he'll definitely go."
Wukong led the way. He didn't notice Sanzang pause and glance back, flashing Yellowtusk and Peng a nasty smirk before he followed his monkey.
A thought occurred to him and he turned at the doorway, just in time to see the gentle smile reappear. "By the way…how are you here?"
"Whatever do you mean, my dear monkey?"
"It's just…" Okay, this felt a little stupid. "I heard you joined the cycle of reincarnation. One of Xiaotain's dads- his real dads-" Because Xitaotian wasn't his son, despite Wukong's most secret wish. "Has your powers. His husband and his friend, they might be reincarnations of Bajie and Wujing-" He glanced at the floor, trying to figure out how to word this, failing to notice the anger that briefly lit Sanzang's eyes. "-So, I thought…ugh, this is so dumb…"
"It is," Sanzang nodded, reaching out and cupping his face. Heat rose up in Wukong's face at the touch. It felt a lot more intimate than their touches before, and considering the amount of just naked cuddles they had done (actual cuddling, not sex Bajie), that was saying a lot. "You should know by now that I'll always be here for you for whatever you need."
Peng gagged in the background.
Something felt weird about Sanzang's tone, but Wukong couldn't put his finger on it. Whatever it was, it probably didn't matter.
They were back together, the monk and the monkey, and they would fix things.
"I'll call the others and let them know what's going on," Wukong pulled out his phone. "I think Camel Ridge is an archaeological site right now, so maybe Tang-" Okay, it felt awkward to think about him now with Sanzang there. "Maybe Tang has a friend who spotted something." His phone dinged and he glanced down.
NO SIGNAL
"Of course," Wukong sighed. "I'll go upstairs. While I do that, I'll also let Nezha know he has some prisoners he needs to pick up."
Sanzang nodded. "Of course. I'll be glad to meet your new friends."
"…thanks, master."
The moment Wukong was gone, the cheeriness and light faded from Sanzang's reflection, the darkness of the room closing on him. He took in a deep breath and stretched. It had been a long time since he had needed to lie so boldly. He turned to Yellowtusk and Peng, who both glared at him. "You're lucky Wukong was here," he said simply.
Yellowtusk threw his head back, allowing the gag to slip down his mouth. If he had managed before, Sanzang's plan might've been blown up. "Our brother is more clever than you think-" he panted, eyes furious. "He will see through your ruse-"
"Oh, well, eventually," Sanzang shrugged. Wukong was smart and clever. "Not until the Jade Emperor's dead, and I've given him the throne at least." He pulled out a phone. "I will need to contact the others and let them know the plan has changed." It was likely that the monks sent to guard the prince with Azure were dead.
He mourned for a second. But they knew their purpose. They would not have mourned.
It was so hard running a cult sometimes.

First Princess Songzi to the Stone Matriarch to Guanyin:

referencing my updated "Celestial Family Tree" + what the monkey doing there? and the Stone Monkeys lived on FFM theory.
>:3 huehue been cooking on this au/theory for a while now
First Princess Songzi had become so digusted by her father comparing humanity to little more than beasts, that when she reincarnated she was reborn as a Stone Monkey/Shí Bǎomǔ.
A Stone Monkey who would become the last Stone Matriarch of Flower Fruit Mountain. She ruled for many years, fair and merciful in a way unknown to demonkind at that time. Her orange-gold fur seemingly glowed in the sun as she watched over her troop, her eyes warm with the light of Heaven itself.
Until the Great Flood.
Being creatures not meant for deep water, the Stone Monkey troop that had survived on Earth for so long had found themselves all but wiped out within a single tidal wave.
The Stone Matriarch wailed and cried for any of her lost troop to answer her for years. Her own mate among the missing and presumed dead.
There was not enough food to feed those who had survived the initial waves, and not enough clean water to sate the thirsty. From her grief, the Stone Matriarch and those who had survived began making preparations.
Preparations for the Matriarch to fling a light into the future.
The Stone Palace which had housed countless generations of families was left how it was on the day the flood took them all away. Signs left to tell the next generation or whomever found it that; "We were here. We lived and loved and died. Let the Earth remember us." They wrote upon the walls of the caverns and painted the rocks with their stories so that whomever found them would Know.
The Matriarch found the highest peak of the mountain, one which saved her from the flood waters, and began praying to Hòutǔ and Nüwa (as was customary) as she dug her final resting place. The goddesses of the deep earth and of creation were of great importance to their kind.
The Matriarch buried a peach seed beside her in case that if she failed, her body would at least feed the children of later generations with the fruit.
And she went into her deepest sleep.
The Boulder utop Flower Fruit Mountain had not been there since the "beginning of the Earth" as the tales said - but it might as well have to the yaoguai that settled on the island once the flood waters receeded. The young goddess Nüwa not only created a new Heavenly Pillar to repair the world, but also helped the displaced creatures of the earth find new homes to settle safe from Heaven's destruction. The Boulder greeted them to a paradise lush with fruit and flowers.
As a stroke of misfortune; a waterfall, formed in the aftermath of the flood, concealed the entrance to the Stone Palace. Meaning that those who had settled, did not discover it for some time. And the waters of the cavern eroded some of the many stories left on the cave walls.
One day the Boulder split open, revealing an egg-shaped stone. A young monkey falling out of it like a chick from a nest. The troop of monkey yao had no idea what to make of the little one. Only the bravest four cubs (Ma, Ba, Beng, and Liu) dared to approach this outsider and greet them as a new playmate.
The cub was nicknamed "Xiao-Shihou", their "little stone monkey". Later to be known as their King for his bravery and resourcefulness.
And even later renamed Sun Wukong as he had learned the ways of man and immortals.
Sun Wukong never met his mother. He never knew he had a parent to speak of. But he would learn from his time in Heaven that he was not the Only of his kind that existed once. That there was once strangers like him out on earth and in the stars. And that there might be a way to continue their work...
So he began researching ways to preserve his life and create his lone-parent child at the same time so that they would not be left alone as he was. The knowledge of Liu'er Mihou being a subspecies survivor was uncompletely unknown for millennia afterwards.
When The Bodhisattva of Mercy; Guanyin appeared in court on the day Sun Wukong lashed out at Heaven, her knowledge of her past lives rushed to her heart like an arrow. Before they were Miaoshan she were another human, and 30 so lives before that often a mortal animal or a plant. But her first ever reincarnation - the one which spearated them from their first life as First Princess Songzi - was that of a Stone Matriach preparing a safe place to bare her baby.
Guanyin could not inform Heaven of this fact - as it would put a target far greater than even now upon their past-self's child. The Jade Emperor and Queen Mother still found it difficult to separate Guanyin from their passed daughter. They simply would not be able to comprehend the stone monkey's connection to them.
So they pleaded for Sun Wukong to survive his punishment, even if it wasn't ideal for him or his people. Even all knowing - The Buddha simply could not let the Monkey King's destruction go unpunished or untested. Until he could become more patient, more wise, he must rest and mediatate upon his actions. Guanyin would approach the Monkey King many times throughout his Journey, always with the air of a worried mother. They even comforted and cried with him when he discovered the fate of the island after the war, and later when he lost his mate. Though at the time Sun Wukong he did not understand exactly why the Goddess cried with such sympathy alongside him.
And depending upon the story (AU), the Bodhisattva may have accidentally set the perfect conditions for their own spirtual grandchild to be formed.
The Goddess of Birth became a creature able to bare their young without a partner at the cost of their own life. And later in creating her child, the Stone Matriarch would enter the cycle of reincarnation to eventually become the Bodhsattva notorious for their Mercy and their skills in bringing life into the world.
As for Sun Luzhen?
The Matriarch's Mate (Patriarch? Consort?) had not died in the flood waters as she had thought - but had been swept away into a cavern where they too presumed their love had been taken into Diyu. The Consort in turn buried themselves into the side of the mountain's base as opposed to the top - the Egg that formed only discovered over 2000 years after it's twin when the mountain itself was cracked open.
Sun Wukong meets this long-overdue cub in the clean-up effort, and discovers to his horror and sorrow the origins of them both.
Along the walls of The Consort's resting place lay a vast record of all the Stone Monkeys that came before them - the Matriarch having always adored her studious mate's rambling. The Consort even leaving aside names they and their mate had considered for their planned vast brood ("little heaven" and "walks reality" was among them), and wishes that whomever found their baby or any other stone egg take care to remember those who sacrificed to ensure their survival.
Sun Wukong drops to his knees upon reading the pre-chinese markings uncovered by Azure Lion's battle. The newly-hatched cub in his arms cooing with curiousity at his matching sun-orange fur.

Sun Wukong! The great demigod equal to the seven seas!

This is from Moana AU, where Wukong is Maui.
Backstory:
When the universe was created a rock was born from it. Here it floated around for a while among the millions of stars and planets. The rock shined a bit but not as much as the massive stars- ilumanating the otherwise empty black space. So, it promised itself, deep, deep down, that it would one day shine as bright as them, somehow...
One day it ended up on earth where it crashed into the ocean, who immedatly took it in as a friend. The ocean strengthened the rock with its most gruesome waves from the mighty storms that would reach the gods. And it would shape it by the tides that would flood Islands and force the living down to the very bottom of the sea.
After a couple thousands years the ocean decied it was time, and the rock ended up on a small island in the Pacific Ocean. Here, it was found by the monkeys, that inhabited the land, and they sensed a form of familiarness from the rock. So, they took care of it, as a mother would take care of her womb.
But as time went on, a great storm took over the entire world. It raised the seas higher than they had ever been and caused many people their lives. From the death and chaos that illumanited the earth, the rock finally split open, the oceans finally calming down with it. Inside the rock, a monkey, like them, was found, and a simple but great time began for this stone monkey.
This, sadly, didn’t last long though. Starvation soon crept up on the small island, and soon fully took over it. It was killing their children and soon even the strongest of the monkeys, and when the nights came, too fast to keep them warm, the already weakend monkeys would die in the cold.
The stone monkey saw this, his family and friends all dying before him, and knew he had to do something. His eyes fell upon the great seas, that helped form his very bones, and soon great voyages, through the big sea started forming in his head.
Unfortunately, for him, the sea was, and still is, mysterious and gruesome to the unprepared. Monkey knew this. And soon, his plans about great voyages were dried out by the very Island that kept him trapped to watch his loved ones quickly die before him. But, unbeknownst to the stone monkey, someone else was watching him. The Gods.
They saw the greatness within the stone monkey, who was created by the very ocean itself, and decided to take pity on this small monkey. They gifted him a golden hooped staff, which the Monkey very creativly named “Ruyi Jingu Bang”, which gave him the power and knowledge to use the 72 transformations. That though would only be start of his soon ever growing strentgh as he, and many others, would soon find out.
Finally prepared for the unforgiven sea, he was abput to set of on his great voayges, when he was stopped by his closest friend, Liu’er Mihou.
Liu’er Mihou wanted to help his close friend and go on great voyages with him, and the stone monkey happily agreed to this, and soon, the two was sailing through the great oceans together.
On their voyages they would lasso the sun, who would finally agree to stay on the sky longer, kill a troublesome demon eel, who, buried, would later become coconuts for the monkeys to feast on, and soon everyone in all the oceans were praising, mostly the stone monkey, names.
The stone monkey was even given a name by a wise immortal, called Master Subodhi, who named him “Sun Wukong”, meaning “Sun who has awoken to emptiness”.
But, through all these great voyages, something else would start to grow, that would become even stronger than the mighteist powers of the gods that watched over them. Liu’er Mihou and Wukongs Bond, which was already quite strong. And soon, the monkies would start to call eachtoher much more than friends, both promising each other that it would last forever…

WHATS UP FUCKERS I'M HERE TO SHARE WITH YOU MY LATEST CAFFEINE FUELED BRAINCHILD:
THE PROJECT MOON AU WHERE NOTHING BAD EVER HAPPENS EVER (and also some of them are college students (and none of this is well thought out at all please help me))™

You know how Fate has that one cooking spinoff where nobody kills anybody and they just hang around and have dinner?
This is that. For PM fans. Roland is canonically a good cook and a foodie. It could happen. PM please make it happen I just want my goobers to be happy and untraumatized.
Anyways, with that rambling done, let me ramble about these four fuckers and what they're up to.
So, the setting's a fancy college where rich people go to. Angelica is there on academic scholarship; Argalia has a music scholarship; Roland's there because his adopted mom Iori is a lecturer there so the tuition's cheaper; Angela's there because Ayin and Benjamin are fuck you rich and spoils her to high heavens.
Argalia's and Angela are both music majors, Angelica's in engineering, and Roland's in culinary. Roland and Angelica are 2nd years, Argalia and Angela are 3rd years.
Roland's known Angela since forever ago because they were in the same orphanage. Argalia and Angelica are siblings. Here's baby roland on adoption day I drew while writing this because I have no self control.

Where was I? Oh right. So, Roland gets adopted by Iori; Angela gets adopted by Ayin and Benji. Angela calls Ayin Dad and Benjamin Gramps because he has grey hair, the two got to some hijinks in their high school years, they remained friends to present day.
Back to the main four. So, first year, Angelica and Roland meet on campus one day on some meet cute shit. Then it turns out Iori is Angelica's Host family while she's studying here. Romcom shenanigans happen, Argalia's the overprotective brother, Angela's the resident wingman/shipmaker/popcorn eater/"just kiss already" yeller, Roland cooks/awkwardly flirts, Angelica gifts Roland a knife she made for his adoption day, it's great. Eventually A Fritter Called Jeon happens and they start dating and more romcom ensues.
That is everything my stupid little monkey brain can semi-coherently conjure up since the rest are just incoherent snippets of tangentially related information and cute funny things these goobers can get up to. Among which include:
The Asiyah and Briah Sephira are Angela's circle of friends that met in high school, they all go into their respective fields from LoR. Geb does sports. Maybe Yesod and Angelica know each other from engineering competitions or something.
Binah's a CIA agent that knows way too many people, because of course she does.
Yan and Gloria are taking Theology studies, Esther and Hubert are post-grads/professor assistants, they become friends somewhat, Moirai's a professor there.
Blue Reverbs are all music majors that hang out with Argalia and Angela, they take bets on which one snaps and kills the other first. Oswald bets on hate sex. Tanya bets that the two of them would kill someone together.
Charles' Office are Roland's group of friends back from back in High School, Olivier went on to become a civil servant, I do not know what the fuck the rest are up to, we'll see when they show up in Limbus.
Speaking of Limbus, the Limbus gang are all in...I don't know what you english speaking fuckers call "school clubs but in college", I know a word exists for it, but I'm blanking. They're all in one of those. Rodya started it and roped them all in. Vergilius and Dante are their advisors. They go around and survey the socioeconomic state of the country in various locales and write reports about it (read: Rodya found a way to get them all free vacation and they all took it)
Angelica' physically very strong, she does martial arts, and she gets Roland into martial arts, but whenever they "spar" they just end up a blushing pile of goo that's too embarrassed to grapple their crush. They have good fun though.
Argalia keeps trying to split Angelica and Roland apart but he doesn't actually try since he's seen how happy she gets when she talks about him.
#art#project moon#argalia#angelica#roland#angela#modern day au#library of ruina#but it's just a fucking library#where these goobers go to study together on fridays#and nobody commits fucking warcrimes#except maybe ayin#because god knows what the fuck he's up to

This is all the Coradrag AU I made where they are happy together and raising Ace, Sabo, Luffy, Law, Shachi, Penguin, and Bepo. With a side of Grandpa Garp and Grandpa Sengoku. Posts are in chronological order (story wise).
Everybody is probably out of character, but I don't care because it's fanfiction and I'm trying my best.
Updates will happen sporadically as I have college and I don't really get in the mood to write fanfiction after I write a 10+ page essay for college.
Plot Points:
Coradrag Humor + Tragedy
Happy Coradrag AU

Split Monkey Family Chapter 2
Summary: While hanging out with Mei, MK makes a huge mistake. After some domestic fluff stuff. Ao3 link.
All the way back to work, MK couldn't stop thinking, "I have a sister. I'm a big brother."
He seemed so excited that when he parked his delivery vehicle, MK noticed that he hadn't returned to his human form. With a quick transformation, he was ready to make more deliveries.
"I'm back!" MK calls out as he enters the restaurant.
"About time you have three orders to deliver," MK's boss Pigsy snorts.
"How's Mei?" Tang asks between slurps.
"Why can't you meet with her after work?" Pigsy crosses his arms.
"She's fine. I'll bring that up next time I talk with her. By the way, the visits will be weekly now. Bye," MK grabs the three orders and runs out the door before Pigsy can say anything.
"Wait, what?!" Both yell at once.
While out on his deliveries, MK is now thinking about what Macaque said about Wukong forgiving him. He was so into thought he drove right past the drop-off point. When he noticed, he had to backtrack five blocks and was a minute late. Good thing the person didn't mind.
Finally done with all known deliveries, MK could take a short rest at the restaurant. Only to see he's not alone with a surprise guest.
In his own human disguise, sitting at the table in the back is MK's other father, Sun Wukong.
"Father, what are you doing here?"
The monkey king slurps his noodles.
"Hey, Son. I wanted noodles."
MK sits down next to his father, "You could order some at home."
"And have my son work longer and take away time from his training."
"I could bring some home after work."
"That takes too long, and I want noodles now," Wukong whines.
Sometimes MK can't believe his father, the man who raised him, the same one who's 1,000 years old, still acts like a cub at times—forgetting that he does the same thing. You can say MK got that from his father.
Wukong finished his noodles and ordered some more. There are already two empty bowls next to him.
"Got time for some noodles with your father?" Wukong asked with hope.
MK smiles in return, "Sure, father."
Wukong orders noodles for his son. The two sit down and enjoy the meal together. After eating, Wukong starts to head out when Pigsy enters.
"I'm closing now. If you want, you can go home, MK. I'll clean up."
Before MK could say anything, Wukong picked up his son, carried him over his shoulder, and ran out the door like a gust of wind. On his cloud on the way home, Wukong drops his human disguise, and MK does the same.
"You didn't need to do that," MK crosses his arms.
Wukong doesn't say anything, only grins his cheeky grin. It wasn't until they reached Flower Fruit Mountain that Wukong said anything.
"Now we can start your training early today," Wukong beams excitedly.
Meanwhile, MK groans, hoping to have some time to rest before training. One of the many things Wukong doesn't know about MK is that after work, he goes to the arcade for a few hours to rest after a hard day of driving around and dealing with Pigsy's wrath.
Wukong tosses MK, his little training staff. Someday, MK will get a real one like his father's, but never his father's. Little does MK know that Wukong made him a staff of his own and is waiting for the right time to give it to him.
MK catches the staff still not looking forward to this. He hopes today will be a light training day.
Wukong gets into a fighting stance while MK does the same.
"Time for a recap," Wukong calls out, charging at his son.
Looks like today is going to be a light training day after all.
When MK leaves, Macaque picks up Yue Yan and carries her to the kitchen. It's time for her dinner now. He always eats after his daughter. Usually, after her meal, she calms down and either sleeps, watches TV, or stares out the window.
Today, after her meal of mashed-up plums, Yue Yan wanted to play with Macaque instead, surprising the dark-furred monkey. While doing the dishes, the little cub crawls in. Her target was a long, dark, furred tail wagging back and forth. It looks like the perfect toy.
Macaque dropped the dish he was washing when something pulled on his tail. Looking down, he sees his cub pulling his tail as she wraps her body around it. Then the tip goes into her mouth, only to come right out as her father gives her something else to chew on.
"Yue Yan, I love you, but I'm getting tired of always telling you my tail isn't a chew toy," Macaque sighs.
He wonders why his cub isn't relaxing like she usually does after her meal. Macaque uses his tail to lift her up towards him. Unwrapping his child while she laughs puts a smile on Macaque's face as he laughs.
A memory of MK at that age pops into Macaque's head. When MK's fangs were coming in, he wanted to show them off to everyone. His fathers, uncles, and random monkeys that live on the mountain. Until one day, a young male monkey saw MK showing his fangs to him as a challenge. It was a good thing Wukong was there. That's when MK learned that showing one's teeth to other monkeys unless you want to challenge them. Something his fathers should have told him sooner.
Macaque did tell Yue Yan as soon as she showed him her little fangs. She knows not to do that, even though there is no one else around her but Macaque.
The smile fades from Macaque when he remembers Wukong and little MK, and then he remembers the fights. They were always about the same thing. Those fights are the reason why even if Wukong forgives him, Macaque may still not introduce Wukong to Yue Yan or return.
Yue Yan noticed her father's attention was elsewhere. She grabs his scarf and tugs at it.
"Same, same, same," she keeps chanting.
She does this when she wants Macaque to show his six ears so they can match. Even though her ears aren't the same color as his. Not that she knows.
The smile returns as Macaque drops enough of his glamor to reveal his six ears but not his scars.
"Yay," the little cub cheers.
She grabs the bottom two ears. Then she touches her own two bottom ears.
"Someday, I must teach you how to use your past and future hearing. If you will get them, that is."
Macaque doesn't know if her ears are for show or whose abilities she will get.
Yue Yan doesn't know what her father is talking about.
"What?" She lets go of her ears.
Macaque looks at his daughter and smiles, "Nothing, my plum blossom."
He kisses Yue Yan's forehead and carries her into the other room. Macaque puts his daughter in her play area since she's so active, and he returns to finish the dishes. Once in a while, he will pop his head out to check on her.
Now that he's done cleaning up, she is asleep—curled up like a cat hugging her feet. It seems she wasn't in a deep sleep because her eyes opened slightly when Macaque sat on the couch. After one more check to see her eyes fully closed again, Macaque can finally relax and have some time to himself.
"One of the joys about being a father," he sighs blissfully.
After training, MK is lying on his stomach on his bed, looking at his phone. There are five texts from Mei. She always knows when MK is busy; that's when she always tries to reach him. Good thing it's only text. If it's important or an emergency, Mei would call.
Text 1: Work or training Text 2: I'm bored Text 3: Will you be free soon Text 4: Heading to Pigsy's Text 5: Noodle time
He replays to the text with a text.
MK text: Take it you want to hang out.
It didn't take long for Mei to respond back. She has always been quick to replay like her phone is attached to her brain.
Mei text: OMG yesssssssssss MK text: Ok ok I will be over soon. Still at Pigsy's? Mei text: At the arcade, be fast
MK laughs as he puts his phone away. Rushing downstairs and past his father.
"Bye, father. I'm going to hang out with Mei," he waves as he jumps on his own cloud.
Wukong was holding a bag of peach flavor chips and some bubble tea. He rolls his eyes as he walks towards the couch.
"I hate when he does that. At least I understood him this time," Wukong said as he plucked down on the couch, opening the bag of chips.
MK arrives at the arcade in a few minutes. Mei was playing a game. She was so caught up in it that it was a surprise that she noticed MK at all.
"Finally here," she says, not looking away from the screen, "Let me beat this level."
MK tilts his head to the side, "We're not going to hang out here?"
Mei laughs, "Not today, monkey boy."
His uncles and Mei are the only ones who know MK isn't human. Mei gets away with calling him anything monkey-related.
Mei beats the level and turns to face MK, letting the player in the game die. She whipped this arcade game at least 50 times. No one will be able to beat her high score except maybe MK.
Mei grabs MK's sleeve and dashes out the door.
"I want to show you something."
She drops MK on her motorcycle and drives off. They arrive at what looks like an abandoned construction site. It is not clear what they were trying to build. Everything is half-built, and some stuff has even fallen apart. There is an elevator that only goes up.
"What do you think? Would make a great base for us," Mei beams with glee.
She found this place a week ago by accident. While training for this year's Great Wall Race, she ended up here without knowing how she got there. At least she could leave and find her way home with ease.
MK looks around while he walks over the place.
"This could work for our base. We do need to do some work, though," MK whistles.
Mei and M have been looking for a place to make a secret base for them. Why do they need one? They don't know. Why do they want one? Again, they don't know. They just do.
"I wonder if the elevator works?" MK asked, eyeing it.
It seemed Mei had the same question as she was already dragging MK inside it. She let MK press the button. He loves pushing buttons. Up the elevator goes quite quickly like it was waiting to be used.
On the top level, the two reach some half-made buildings and a hill. An out-of-place hill with a small tree coming out of it. It is the only thing green in this whole area. They get closer to the tree and see something on it.
"What is that," Mei points.
"I don't know, but I bet it would look great on my bedroom wall," MK says, walking up to it.
Mei is right behind him. Both are looking at the thing that they don't know what it is or says.
"I agree, MK."
MK reaches for it and tries to pull the thing off. It wasn't easy, but he managed to do it. As soon as he did, the ground shook, making him and Mei roll down the hill like Jack and Jill. The same hill that is now splitting open.
At the bottom, Mei gets into a fighting stance while MK panics for a bit before he remembers his training and gets into his own fighting stance with his training staff. The hill halves burst as a giant bull demon breaks free. He then shakes the dirt off of him.
Standing before them is the one and only Demon Bull King. Mei and MK have heard about a powerful demon that terrorized humans centuries ago until Monkey King trapped him under a mountain. Still, they thought it was just a story. MK's fathers never said anything about it. Macaque did teach MK some seals until Wukong made him stop.
Then it hit him. Looking down at his hand, he noticed that he just peeled off the seal that was keeping Demon Bull King trapped under the mountain. The stories are true, and now the two friends have a choice to make run or stay and fight.

Banquet ( a @journey-to-the-au fic)
I had to split this into two parts because … it’s 16 pages and I did NOT want to swamp anyone with a wall of text. I’m finishing up the last bit later today possibly after work or tomorrow. I hope you all enjoy!
If there was anything that Heaven knew how to do, it was to throw a party.
In the most boring way possible to Willow.
The entertainment for tonight’s banquet of Heavenly Delight were four great white mares, set to dancing. The great beasts were dressed in robes so long they brushed the courtyard ground beyond their feathered hooves. Purple and gold, saffron and yellow silk was tied to their manes as they sashayed and side stepped in perfect tandem to the soft orchestra led by Gold Chimes Softly. The drums beat a second heart to the horses hooves. Everything was ever perfect and in time. Not a swish of a tail or a twitch of an ear. Willow heard the bells on the great hooves beat in perfect harmony. Other women from their seats applauded as the mares danced softly from side to side. To everyone who awaited the main course and delighted in the dancing, it was the most marvelous entertainment.
To Willow, she was bored to her wits end.
Not a single spark of spontaneous will, Willow thought as her hands settled in her lap. It was another feast her father had requested by letter for her to attend. Well her and Wukong who-even now after almost hundreds of years!- the celestial busy bodies still whispered that she, Earth Reaching Willow, must be under some sort of cursed spell, some beguilement to be married to him.
Sometimes the pasty nobles and smooth beautiful faces of the lady’s behind their fans and sleeves earned the deepest scorn from Willow.
She looked up to the sky. They were seated in the courtyard of sorts, where the pavilions were open to the air and backdropped by the perfectly cut ivy crawling it’s way up the trellis. The warm air and the music was welcome but also stifling in a sense. Incense burned not too far away, cloying with the scent of cooking food in the worst possible way. Willow saw that every star was in its perfect place, the constellations playing at perfection to please their Emperor. Another laugh from nearby caught her ear over the dancing horses. She turned and saw a few attendants huddled in a whisper, pointedly looking between other guests at the banquet. Seems their is rumor scheming going about. How dull.
I bet none of them have witnessed the beauty of a star shower from earth.
She hid it well however, her scorn. Willow couldn’t understand how anyone would choose Heaven over the ever changing earth below. None of these thoughts made themselves visible on her face however. Schooled and taught, bred to peaceful serenity, Willow let nothing ripple the calm of her outward appearance. As cool as a northern star, as serene as a flower in a vase.
Captive peace was hardly true peace. It was stagnation. It was the loss of what made the peace worthwhile. Willow had experienced that feeling: of tumbling in the grass, the heat of the fire as a lightning strike burned a forest down, of the sea and its salty spray in a storm. Willow had felt the movement of a world and it had caught her and held her constantly in its motion.
She took a sip of wine to hide her mouth as it began to slip into a frown. The wine may be of the best quality, brewed by the greatest hands and purified in the finest crystal, but it would never compare to the joy of the toasts her earthen family held in their patch of paradise. Of how when Ba got into his cups he would challenge his sister Ma to a duel of jokes and japes. The music made by Sweet, a kind little monkey, was a better tune and full of more life then Gold Chimes Softly well placed and organized orchestra. Sweet could play a jaunty tune upon their flute, while the rest of his little musician group followed along. They could whip the troupe into a frenzy of dancing and table jumping. Willow had danced before, controlled and reserved like the Mares in their bells and ribbons. But dancing within her husband's court had been an experience she never would have imagined missing. The dancing wildness and stamping feet, the spinning from partner to small partner, the joy that filled the air and the laughter. It had been better than star wine - it had been an intoxication that had left her heart drumming and face smiling wide.
The horses finished their beautiful dance and the court clapped. Willow clapped too. The mares did wonderfully. It was not their fault that the dance felt too restrained, too controlled.
Her father was happy to have her home. Willow could tell by the very evident glances down to his daughters from his seat at the head of the table. He had all of his family arrayed about him, basking. Willow made polite conversation that only scraped surface level with her sisters and the passing women who came to visit her seat. Willow complemented the lady’s jewels and colored gowns. To the men she disarmed a hundred pointed comments that were trying to dig beneath and get to the root of what would be tender and delectable tea to spill in court.
That great sage- he drinks with a gusto! Is it always this way?
Translation - is he a drunk ?
My what clothes. Such a unique style it must have been picked up in his travels!
Translation: He dresses like a Savage. Is He a Savage to you?
Willow had almost slapped another adviser who had pointedly remarked on the lack of children they had and questioned Wukongs ability to perform.
Her sisters, oh her clever sisters, had rallied to her defense in the most courtly way they could: they turned him into a piece of gossip to throw back to court.
“Did you hear?” Wind Over Sea stage whispered to Autumn Leaves Falling.
“Oh do tell!” Autumn Leaves Falling flashed her most wonderous smile, catching the Advisor in her trap.
“Seems that Moon Shadowed Clouds husband has been kicked out of their bedroom!” Wind replied, making direct eye contact with the Advisor.
“How terribly pitiful!” Weaves the Clouds remarked from her cushion beside the other sisters. The Jade Emperor watched from above, keeping himself out of the gossip.
“Wasn’t he caught drinking down in one of the mortal brothels ?” Autumn added, her eyes slashing toward the advisor.
“I heard it was on his Wife’s birthday to boot!” Winter Frosted Grace sniffed, setting her cup of tea down.
Her sisters turned in unison to stare down the Advisor with such cat like intensity.
“For shame!” Little Weaver Girl, the youngest of the brood of women, said loud enough for the court to hear. Little could get away with being louder than the rest- she was adored by their father and was the master weaver of heaven. Her creations had been sought after by all the courts when their father had worn one of her robes that Little had made. “Trying to twist your bad fortune onto my sister.”
The advisor, of course, made a swift exit with red ears and wounded pride.
Willow was thankful for her sisters. They alone understood that Willow, for whatever reason, had found comfort with Wukong and was truly happy. They didn’t see why she wished to remain down among the earthly mortals. Her happiness was what they valued and, like a streak of tigers, would defend with witty claws and well disguised barbs any that fancied a go at making court gossip from the Emperors family.
Willow wished for the upteenth time that she could bring the lot of them to their mountain. To see what she saw. She knew deep down that none of them would really understand. Except for Little. Her youngest sister often snuck from the court to watch the common people live their lives and to see the other mortal weavers of the world. Little would love their mountain. She began to think of Flower Fruit Mountain as theirs - her and Wukongs. It Held so many memories- so many joys and sorrows.
Where was Wukong?
Willow was surprised he had been absent so long. Wukong was still a bit unaccustomed to the Celestial workings of the court and it’s people. Even after attaining buddhahood and becoming an enlightened master, Willow knew that the gossip surrounding them would never die out. It was tiresome to interact with people who still brought things up from almost centuries ago.
She cast her gaze about for him and saw a flash of his red fur—
And his teeth.
Willows stomach fell, like a falcon folding her wings for a dive. Straight to the bottom of her soul
Wukong was surrounded by a swath of richly dressed courtiers, lords and men of the Palace. They kept a respectful courtly distance but Willow knew it was too close. Her dear friend was giving all the warnings she had learned over the centuries together to read. His eyebrows had been raised at the beginning of her watching but now they lowered, the teeth on full display. A smile of aggression. A smile that said ‘I take offense’. He felt accosted and would soon act upon it. For all the calm that had been taught, her husband could not forget that he was a creature that had to fight for so long.
Oh these utter fools, Willow thought. They still don’t know when to leave him well enough alone.
It would be their fault for not understanding Wukongs simple and very obvious attempts to walk past and around them. But another man would join, asking to hear of his teachings from the Buddha himself, and his eyes would make direct contact with theirs and the teeth would shine all the sharper. That wasn’t a smile. That was a promise of violence.
Willow knew if Wukong reacted it would only cement the court's opinion of Wild Beast they saw. Willow had to act fast before the feast turned from one of peace to one of violence. So Willow, setting her goblet down whispered to her nearest sister, Winter.
“Catch me.”
“Beg pardon?”
And then Willow, with the grace of all her years of acting and tricking the witless fools of Heaven, swooned and fainted. Winter caught her, crying out in more surprise than worry.
Willow made sure she brought her hand up dramatically to her face, the sleeve covering her mouth. Her elbow she had knock into the tray that held food and Willow was rewarded with the loudest clatter of porcelain cracking onto the floor beneath them. The goblet she had placed was sent flying to spill into the rug beneath their cushioned seats.
Sorry father. I know you wanted a peaceful night with us all.
Her dramatics had the desired effect: the court all took in a sudden breath and some gasped. She heard her father call to her and the worry in his voice made Willow's heart beat with a bit of guilt.
“Sister?” She felt hands shake her shoulders in worry and looked up beneath lashes into Winters frosty face.
“Play along, so that way the court doesn’t catch on.” Willow whispered and her hand subtly pointed to where Wukong had been- and where he was running up to her.
“Willow!” He sounded so worried it made her heart give another guilty squeeze. His hands had grown in size, meaning he had made himself larger than regular. “Are you alright my love?”
Willow looked just beneath her arm as she brought it up higher in a mock groan. But he was close enough to hear her now.
“Let’s go home.” Willow could see the stress lines on his face, the anger that had been there cooling like coals in a fire.
“Seems my sister fainted.” Bless her, Little was close enough to see that a game was afoot. And she always approved of games. “It’s been so long since she was at the Palace after all. The scents may have overwhelmed her.”
Wukong looked down just long enough to see Willow give a wink. Some of the tension leaked from him and she could feel it leave his hands. His fast mind seized onto this statement (now that he was given a signal that this was a ruse) and elaborated upon the story.
“My wife was worried about tonight. The winds over our mountain have been so clean and clear while Heavens incense must have overwhelmed her delicate nose.” Wukongs arms took her up, face close to hers.
“How did you know?” He mumbled into her hair. He didn’t ask her if she knew what. Wukong understood that she was doing this for him in some way. It was the intuition of being with each other for so long.
“Saw those courtiers - the fools.” She barely moved her lips to speak and was glad to have her sleeve covering her face. She couldn’t help the smile as he blew air into her ear, tickling her.
“You are a Heaven send.” He said to her then addressed the court.
“Seems my wife needs to clear her head. We will head home on the leave of my Father-in-Law the Jade Emperor.”
“You may go, Sun Wukong. Let me - let me know how she fares will you?” The worry that made the end of his voice tremble at the end had Willow feel just a bit more guilt.
Sorry Father.
Willow felt Wukong bow his head and then they were away, faster than a falling star on a path back to earth. Once past the Celestial guards Wukong tapped her shoulder with a claw and Willow dropped her act and sighed.
“Thank small mercies.” She sighed, gazing out at the fast approaching world below.
“Mercies exist but they are not small.” Wukong said. “I’m holding one in my arms.”
“You flatterer.” She laughed at the sappy look he gave her and she pressed his nose with a delicate finger. “Come, tell me true- what we’re those vipers cornering you about?”
“Seems they were beginning to question my … ability to … well …” Wukong was looking everywhere but her, the wind blowing across his fur. It couldn’t hide the blush turning his face and ears into a tomato.
It only took a second for Willow to understand- and she turned in his arms to glare back into the sky. “I will flay that Advisor!”
“Advisor?”
“Yes. The little shrew of a man must have set the rumour to running before he approached me himself.” The coward. She was glad her sisters had known enough gossip to spin his dilemma into a full show for the court. Willow touched Wukongs cheek, worried. “Tell me what happened.”
“They started asking about my ascension in Buddhism and asked about my teachings. Then they started … well. In on the questions of you and me and our… intimacies.” He was so uncomfortable that he was rubbing at his forehead, claws leaving little red marks on his exposed skin. “It started making me uncomfortable and I couldn’t see or get a clear path to return to you.” Wukong sighed. “I’m sorry Willow.”
“Sorry? You have nothing to apologize for! That man had come up to me and my sisters to dig at us for information as well.” Willow chuckled, remembering how Little, Winter, Cloud and Autumn had perfectly embarrassed the man. “Of course you know the sort my sisters are- even if they don’t quite approve of me living on earth they won’t stand for such pointed questions.”
“You were asked about children as well?”
“Yes and I was about to slap him.” This made Wukong laugh. They sped past a cloud front, promising heavy rain. The mountain was coming into sight now within a sea of jet black turned silver by the moon.
“I would have paid good money to see it. The second slap heard in all of Heaven!” Wukong chortled. Then he sobered. “I’m sorry again.”
“Stop Wukong.” Willow caught his face and pressed a kiss to his temple. “You didn’t do anything wrong.”
And then her stomach gave a tremendous growl, like the traitor it was. It took the wind from her words and flamed Wukongs look of timid regret.
“I pulled you away from the feast before you could even get a bite in.”
“We have all the food back at home.” Willow countered. Cursed stomach. As the Mountain got closer and the silence stretched a bit longer Willow looked back at her friend. His face was concentrated in thought that was slowly beginning to brighten to delight.
“Wukong, I know that face. What are you thinking ?”
He was silent, trying to make his face neutral again. And failing miserably. Once they had stepped down and onto solid ground, Wukong set Willow down and returned to his original size.
“Wukong…” Willow tried again, but was interrupted as the two sentries that night, Ma and Ba, came bounding forward, weapons drawn. When they saw it was Wukong and Willow they relaxed and called greetings.
“My King? You Return so soon!” Ma said.
“Was the feast good?” Ba asked, his broken tail giving an agitated flick.
Wukongs face was fully alight with a genuine smile as he looked at Willow then back at his family.
“The feast was a drab thing of mediocre blathering. We will outdo them here!” The Monkey King walked forward, taking Willows hand gently. She followed, knowing that she was about to get her answer to what Wukong was about to do
“Ma! Ba! Call the troupe- fire up the ovens. Set Water Curtain Cave in its best ! We will have our own feast that will rival Heavens!”
“Yes my king!” The two answered in unison then sped off, whooping and calling and waking all of the mountain for a feast. Ma grabbed at her brothers ear and yanked, getting ahead of him. Ba snarled in mock aggression, swinging his leg to knock Mas out from under her. The two had turned it into a race and it didn’t seem that either would make it out without a few bruises along the way.
“They seem eager for it.” Wukong laughed. He led Willow into their home as the lanterns were turned from their sleepy glow to a bright blaze.
“Wukong …”
“What?”
“Why a feast? I don’t need a feast — I would be satisfied with a simple fruit tart and some water.” Willow felt a bit guilty as she saw sleeping mothers poke their heads from the stone homes and peer out at the ever growing and excited crowd calling for feasting. She saw the kitchen fires light up like a twinkling row of stars coming to life.
“Nonsense!” Wukong assured, pulling her along. “ Why should Heaven have fun and we not have any? Besides I have to find a way to thank you for saving my pride while you lost a bit of your own.”
Was that what this was about ?!
“Oh Wukong it’s fine! Women are expected to faint and fall over themselves with the silliest things.” Her sisters had fainted countless times. Mostly to attract the eye of a gentleman or women they thought was beautiful or fancied. Willow had seen Autumn take the most spectacular swoon, right into the arms of one of the generals! Maybe theatrics ran in the family. Wukong simply shook his head. The idea had him now, the excitment of competing with Heaven growing brighter in his eyes.
“I won’t hear of it.” Wukong declared. Willow forgot how competitive her friend could be. But he also was hiding something else he wanted to do. She could read it like a book.
“You are planning something else are you not? Don’t lie, I can see it on your face plain as day!” She teased him, his mirth infectious. The whole cavern was now alive with the news- droves of the family were coming out now gathering in the banquet hall with foodstuffs to share and enjoy in. Wine was being brought up from the deeper colder caves and already the air smelled intoxicating as the cooks set to work.
It was Wukongs turn to wink at Willow now as he left her at her room door, smiling softly. “You will see~”

Hi I love your au and I have a question
How many kids would female or just regular Macaqa want woth the reader and same with sun monkey king and female monkey queen
Would it be even number between the two or would one want more than the other.
Okay, so I have a few thoughts on this:
For MQ and SWK:
I feel like they would want as many babies as they could get out of Peaches probably with a limit of 8 kiddos (they would reach this conclusion after experiencing having some kids, while before, they were pretty willy nilly about it). With Macaque/Plum in the picture, they would be okay with splitting that number with Mac/Plum for the sake of Peaches and themselves. Also the children are overall a shared responsibility so it'salready like having the 6-8 kids they wanted anyway. Though there is a little tension(competive) between SWK and Macaque's children. Plum and Queen are better at sharing spaces together and with their babies.
Plum Princess and Macaque:
I could see them saying they only want kids as a way to lock Peaches to them, and believing it...initially. It's not until they see and feel their first child do they actually fall in love with idea of building a family with Peaches. They get happier with every child brought into the world. But I do think they would want to stop at 3-4 babies, Mac/Plum are not as baby happy as SWK/MQ.

(Dad au anon) either one! Both sound interesting!
Ok! Let’s see here… I honestly don’t know how most of them will react with some of their Links but I will try to answer all of it
Talon: Time was ten when he first met him, and he sort met him when he was woken up by that cuccoo. So first impression he thought Time was a little rascal. But he soon understood that he helped him and Malon, and he had some respect for him. Now this is the child timeline so the whole thing with Ingo didn’t happen here (or it could’ve, if Ingo found another way to claim Lon Lon ranch). When he saw Time again all sick, he knew he had to do something to help him. When he reunites with Time, he is very relieved that he can go home and be with his pregnant daughter and not have to adventure ever again in his life.
Benji: he’s Hyrule’s biological father, but shock was what he felt when he first saw him. I thiiiiiiink I’m having it so that he meets Hyrule after he was born, so he was a lil newborn bb. He was shocked that he had a kid with a great fairy of all things, and he quickly understands how dangerous it could be for a half fairy. But he feels responsible for him so he cares deeply for him. Now reuniting with Hyrule is… not yet figured out. Idk if they’ve already reunited before lbl and got taken away agin, but I might have that cuz I have an idea for when they do reunite. Benji is relieved that his son is safe and sound and doesn’t ever want to lose him again.
Rusl: ok I’m trying to figure out when they first met. Cuz I started writing a thing when twi was four years old when he showed up at Ordon, but the game makes it seem like he arrived at Ordon a lot later, and Rusl was just opening up the option for twi to officially be apart of the family. Like in tp if you talk to Rusl before you go after Talo in Faron, he invites twi to really train under Rusl, but only if he wants to. Twi is an old kid and doesn’t need to be coddled, but he can be apart of the family if he wants. Either way it’s cute, it feels like a step into adopting him. Anyways Rusl wants to take him under his wing and be there for him since Link is alone in a new place he’s unfamiliar with. Now when Rusl reunited with Link, he’s crying and sobbing and giving him hugs and kisses cuz he’s so happy to see him again <3
Leon: he’s another biological dad so he met Four when he was born lol. I write Leon as a grumpy and serious man, but he’s very loving towards his son. So I feel like holding his baby for the first time was surreal for him. It didn’t comprehend to him that this was his own child so when he first held him he felt pure love for baby Four. His wife died when Four was three months old unfortunately so he’s really taken care of Four the best he could as a widower. Even tho he’s had a few rough moments, he loves his son very much. When they reunite he’s shocked to see him split into four people again, but he doesn’t mind all that much. And he’s fine with them staying that way. It makes Four happier to be split, and Leon always wanted a big family.
Linebeck: now when Linebecj first met his little green monkey, he thought he was just a dumb kid who survived the temple of the ocean king out of sheer luck. And he calls him a green monkey mostly to comment on how bouncy and hyper he is, but it turns into a cute nickname cuz he’s just a dad. Now when he reunited with Windy, it’s a… situation… cuz last time Linebeck saw Windy, he was being pulled down into the ocean by some weird tendril. Let’s just say he’s VERY happy to see Windy
Ammon: another biological dad. I think when he saw his baby boy for the first time, he felt a need to protect him. That’s Ammon’s whole thing is that he wants to protect the people he loves for reasons that you will see in whumptober :> now Age is very capable and not a child so he’s not too worried about him, but he doesn’t get to see his family as often as he’d like, so anytime he gets to see his son he’s always happy. And of course he’s happy to see that he’s safe and sound.
Kass: well when he first met Wild, he was a random kid with battle scars who’s never seen a Rito before. At first Kass was annoyed at him, but realized that the things Wild said was pure ignorance and that Wild was just a curious amnesiac wanting to explore the world. So he happily explained the different areas he was in. Singing him song, telling stories, and explaining legends. Now he hasn’t adopted Wild, but he happily invites Wild over for dinner or just to be around. Really both Kass and Teba. Wild needs a family. When they reunite, Kass didn’t really comprehend that Wild was in any danger, he was kinda there. I honestly don’t know what they were doing when they reunited, but I do know that Wild is very happy that Kass is there.

Sunrise - open LMK ROLEPLAY
looking for a Macaque
Inspired by the Sundown AU
Please comment or PM me if interested and i will give you an invite to my discord group and which includes any other open role-plays i have.
()()()()
‘Okay let's take stalk of what’s happened Mk… you visit Monkey King to help him clean out his vault/hoard/junk room and end up passing out and waking up outside of a city that is run by the Bull family in your simple monkey form. You proceed to run around and find that the city has far more demons than people and the people are treated like a second class with any ‘hybrids’ simply given silent treatment. You book it for the closest computer and find out this is a completely different world where Monkey King is the Emperor of the three realms with Macaque as his ‘Empress’ and co-regent of FFM. You still have your Monkey King’s staff and your glitchy shadow staff plus your demon strength, sight, smell, and your limited hearing under the muffling spell… So how in the fuck do I end up in a situation like this!?!’ a young teen thought protecting a pair of human siblings from an angry demon merchant. “Hey! Pick on someone who can take it!” the teen snapped, arms out to the sides.
“Step aside brat! Those pathetic humans need to be taught a lesson!” the demon glared at the teen.
“Their just kids. Any lesson you might have in mind for them will either cripple or kill them.” the teen countered having been in the world long enough to know that violence was much more ‘welcomed’ in this place than peaceful resolutions of his own world. ‘Gods this place follows a more demonic way than the celestial way.’ Mk had long ago acknowledged since Monkey King had never been ‘properly’ humbled to value ‘all’ life and not just his own subjects' lives.
The demon threw the first punch out in rage and Mk retaliated easily slapping the punch away with a hand surprising the small crowd that a demon as small as him could slap away a punch from a demon that was three times his size. The merchant demon, a tiger, roared in outrage before attacking the teen. Mk easily dodged, slapped, and returned his own attacks with ease in mild confusion. ‘Have I always been this strong or is it because I'm in my monkey form?’ Mk thought bending backward to dodge another punch before jabbing two fingers into a pressure point infused with orange energy into the tiger’s arm making it go limp. “Dont worry. You’ll be able to move your arm again in about a week.” Mk curtly stated his tail lazily swishing behind him.
The tiger growled and pulled out a sword from his hip and swung. Mk reacted on instinct pulling out an a dark purple staff from his shadow holding it out in front of himself to stop the sword dead in its tracks while ripples of orange energy flowed off the teen in nearly suffocating waves his left eye glowing gold while his right glowed a deep royal purple his single tail splitting into three with sunset orange tips while his ears elongated and spread into three sets of a gradient sunset. A red and gold mask spread along his face in the shape of a fiery heart while the symbol of a solar eclipse formed on his forehead.
”Back Down.” Mk all but ordered the demon tiger showing off his impressive monkey fangs that had lengthened in response to his burst of power. ‘Damn it! I gotta book it before Mr. Spooky Shadow comes sniffing my trail!’ Mk thought as he knocked the Tiger away and booked it at inhuman speed out of the market area.
He ran for quite a bit before stopping on a rooftop letting his ears twitch and listen before he sighed in relief. “Looks like that power burst didn't summon the Sun from his Palace.”

Rumble and Savage will grow up to be very tiny monkeys in comparison to their siblings. Yubei is going to be massive.
Yup! Even in aus (like TMKATI) where the Eclipse Twins are older than Yuebei, they're just naturally very small monkeys :3
Rumble and Savage just have very "pixie-like" proportions and don't grow very tall in comparasion to their other siblings. Even the later Lunar Node twins Jidu and Luohou grow to be roughly the size of Wukong and Mac.
In the Slow-boiled au; Macaque feels kinda guilty about Rumble and Savage being born super tiny, cus he thinks by (unknowingly) neglecting his body for most of the pregnancy he's stunted their growth. Mac requires a lot of kisses and kitten therapy to be assured that he did nothing wrong, and the twins were likely gonna be born tiny anyway.
Meanwhile, Yuebei is based on a character described as being a literal giant - so she's super tall and buff even when standing next to her parents. She's just naturally swole.
The family jokes that "The gods knew that there was too much mischief for one baby, so it had to be split into Rumble and Savage." + "Yuebei is so big because she ate all the food Wukong had on the Journey." And so on XD
