"Uncommon, spectacular, crested eagle of lowland tropical forest. Most frequently seen soaring in mid-late morning; rarely seen perched. Gives loud, far-carrying whistles while flying, which often indicate its presence. The short bushy crest is usually apparent only on perched birds and is not seen in flight."

But this time from the horrortale au where sans is a type of vulture and readz is a spizaetus. I have one idea where they are booted into a harem-like au due to an accident with that verse’s y/n and sans, but I’m still brainstorming other stories I could do with the horror bird verse….

"The Ornate Hawk-Eagle is aptly named, with piercing golden eyes and striking black, white, and chestnut plumage. This extraordinary raptor also has a crest of long black feathers, which the bird may keep flattened or held erect when excited. The birds are often seen soaring high above the rainforest canopy on broad, short wings while giving their repeated piping calls."
