Ok but can we get opinions on the anxiety episode??? like spitelout legit gave his son some of the worst social anxiety I have seen in media!!!! from the paranoia to the dreams like that's not normal to just randomly pop up so he must have been instilling that in him for a very long time for snotlout to just go off the wall like that. my point: fuck spitelout and give snotlout all the love

Ok, I'm going to be honest, even though Im a MASSIVE httyd fan, i havent finished rtte. I reached this episode recently and my blood was practically boiling (Im assuming you mean the episode where Snotlout has delusions of his friends not liking him).

Having stress dreams about your friends because of something your dad said isnt normal. its not hard to understand that. Having delusions of them talking about you behind your back because of a comment your dad made isnt normal. You could say that its a kid's property so somethings are exaggerated,,, but some people are really like this!

And the WORST part of the whole scenario (as youve kind of already said) is that it doesnt feel like an isolated incident. Not many people could have that said to them one (1) time and come out the other end like Snotlout did. This was building for a very long time. I think Snotlout genuinely is a slightly anxious person about his place in the group, but like hes a teenager, of course he is! SPITELOUT has to have been planting the seeds of this for YEARS. and it doesnt surprise me one bit
