Live Long and Pinup Kirk and Spock Calendars For Sale!!!

Back in May, our mods dreamed of someday seeing Kirk and Spock in pinup model poses. Wouldn't it be fun, we thought, if we made a classic Pinup Calendar with our beloved Space Husbands?

The response from fan artists was incredible! Our original idea of a single 12 month calendar filled up in one hectic day. We bumped it up to an 18 month calendar - and that not only filled up but left us with a waiting list. So we decided to make two 18-month calendars, one each for Spock and Kirk. We had to close submissions after 48 hours because we were once more full.

After months of work by over 30 artists, we proudly announce that the Live Long and Pinup 2025-2025 18 month calendars are for sale!

These are real, printed Spirk pinup calendars you too could put in your home or gift to a nerdy friend!

From December 1-18, we'll post two fics a day inspired by the incredible Pinup themed fanart.

January here is the raciest page in the entire set. There is no full frontal nudity (though there are a few butts) and no graphic depictions of sex. In the spirit of Pinups, there are plenty of sultry poses (think rated M on AO3).

Here’s my personal interpretation of the timeline of Kirk and Spock’s relationship

So they meet when Pike is still captain of the Enterprise and they become friends right away. Once Kirk becomes captain and makes Spock his first officer they start working together a lot more and through spending more time together they fall in love at some point during the 5 year mission. Once they both realize it and confess to one another they start seeing each other in secret (we’ll call it dating even though they can’t really make it official)

Then Spock goes to Gol and obviously this means they won’t be seeing each other and Spock is seeking to purge all of his emotions so for that time they’re broken up

During the events of TMP when they’re reunited for the first time in 3 years and Spock accepts his emotions, they fall back in love, and the hand holding scene, especially the little nod they exchange, is how they both know it

Now there were approximately 12 years between TMP and TWoK. I think that after the events of TMP they started dating again and at some point during those years they get married

In TWoK Spock calls himself Kirk’s friend, both when giving him command of the ship and when dying, saying that he has been and always will be that. Kirk also refers to Spock as his friend at Spock’s funeral. And it’s true, because even though their relationship has advanced since then, that’s what they were first, and have continued to be even as they eventually fell in love and later tied the knot

Then in TSFS, Spock remembers Jim’s name and that he was Jim’s friend because, again, that’s the first and most important thing that they were to each other

And Kirk understands that Spock is going to need some time before his memory fully returns, but he secretly doesn’t mind it all that much because it means that he and Spock get to fall in love with each other all over again

Then after the end of TUC they happily live out their retirement together and we all know that nothing tragic happened to either one of them after that!!

so I’m rewatching Patterns of Force with my grandfather and had to stop on this scene because I just noticed that while they’re taking pictures of the girl, Spock has his hand rested on Jim’s back and shoulder and ugh. they’re adorable.

I think its funny how people call spirk queerbaiting. Like Amok Time came out in 1967, we were just getting out of the hays code era. You could be arrested for being gay, homosexuality would remain in the dsm as a mental illness for six more years when this episode released. There was no one to queerbait lmao. It was genuine, full bodied, accidental homoeroticism. Idk I just think Spirk should not be known as a queerbait couple, it was truly just guys being dudes staring lovingly at eachother while also being t'hy'la.
