Zelda from Hyrule Warriors dressed as a Phantom from the Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

I didn't want to go with full on armor for this one, bc armor is absolute hell to draw. So I decided to go with more of an outfit with a corset top, skirt, sleeves, and tall boots. All tied together with a black bodysuit to mimic the Phantom's.

OMGOSH!!! I loved how Spirit Tracks did Link & Zelda's relationship!!

Spoiler Warning for Echoes of Wisdom!!

Cannot get over the way Link haunts the narrative in Echoes of Wisdom.

Zelda doesn’t know Link and they never get to speak to each other, but he fights to save her and is taken by the rifts. For the first half of the game, Zelda is walking in his shoes. She cannot be herself because she will be arrested and killed by her own people. She wears his cloak and wields his sword and continues his mission. She learns about him from the people of Hyrule, she sees how loved he was. He saved and inspired so many. People ask her to bring him home. People are DISSAPPOINTED when they see she’s not him. Even in dungeons, she is always chasing after him and he always turns out to be a fake. She tries, but she doesn’t find him.

And then, at the second half of the game, he saves her again. Except this time it’s different because Zelda is no longer powerless. She tries to reach him but Null stops her and takes Link away. From now on, it’s no longer Link’s story but HERS. She is Hyrule’s Priestess, no longer on the run she fights to protect her kingdom from Null. She talks to the Goddesses themselves and earns the right to wield the ACTUAL TRIFORCE. Her people see her for who she really is and love her. And at the end, she finds Link and saves him in the same way he once saved her.

And, as the player, freeing him feels so great because of all the work it took you to get there. You are no longer helpless, you stand powerful in your own right and you no longer need protection, just allies. Link is not useless in puzzles and battles but neither are you. This is something that truly requires the both of you, joining forces. And it feels GREAT.

Here's a Spirit Tracks fanart, the first Zelda game I have beaten ! I actually drew this for a Linktober prompt titled "Phantom"

I had a hard time with rendering things at the time, that's why most of my art before April-May have a "flat" feel to it. Still love this drawing though !

Yayaya, late update but Im so happy that i finally finished lol, next chapter might take a while because of college and commissions but im gonna be working on it, thanks everyone who has been waiting for this! Let’s imagine that wilds body has many scaaars, because im too lazy to draw them.
