I kinda love how in Start a Band when Gwen is monologuing we see Old Spider Band, but we also see Pavitr, Hobie, and Margo there too. That implies that these guys really went “I’ve only known this little dude like 5 minutes but I would destroy the universe for him” and I’m obsessed

Spoiler Alert for Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse [Content Warnings: Flashing lights, violence, potentially disturbing imagery, loud]. Song: "Dream is Collapsing" by ‪@HansZimmer‬ for the inception soundtrack Side notes: Two spiderverse edits back to back, baby! The city glitching in Spiderverse reminded me of the mindbending architecture of inception, and the sweeping score by Hans Zimmer felt very fitting for a super hero origin story. I tried to keep as much of the plot and side elements intact, although I did have to mess around with the story order a bit. Enjoy! (Personal Project repurposed as Gift Edit)

There once was a pig, dark as night, and bristled like the broom your grandfather swept his garage with. He has three brothers, but they don't speak to him anymore, not since he accidentally caught the youngest with his tusk. They were new, he didn't know what they could do... But the scars remained, and so he lived on the other side of the wood. Here, it was more dangerous. The darkness encroached here -- The predators were bolder, the prey faster. And the wolves sought an easy meal.

It was rough, at first, finding shelter, finding food, avoiding the wolves. Soon, though, he learned what his tusks could do. He learned that he was not prey, but a predator in his own right. He sat with himself. For days. Coming to terms with the first time his tusk slipped into the throat of a wolf threatening his life. When at last he came to terms with the animal he had become, he made a decision.

He knew his brothers did not have his strengths. His tusks, his thick skin, and deeper fat. And so he decided that though he may not be the hero that they want, he would be the hero his brothers needed. He began to patrol the woods by night, collecting his bounty, and bringing home trophies.

At the border of the lands, he began a simple pyramid. One that grew every time a wolf dared to come close to his brothers. He lovingly cleaned and placed each skull, making sure to show where his tusks had left their mark. In time, only the bravest of wolves approached the dark one, and his bright forest beyond. He became a guardian to all that dwelled peacefully within.

Only once did a wolf ever pass him, and that finally led the last little piggie home...

But that's a tale for another day.

The fourth little pig built his house out of wolf skulls. It wasn’t very sturdy, but it sent a message.

okay listen up you naive young filmmaker you, the ONLY spiderman stories allowed in movies are about peter parker in high school (MAYBE college, but watch yourself) or multiverse stories. peter parker can never be just a regular adult man in just the one universe. audiences would be dumbstruck. they'd leave theatres in droves. peter parker married? peter parker with a mortgage? have you lost your mind? put a spiderman shaped spiderpig in that spidermovie or so help me spidergod
