Ooh, do you think you could draw what a possible Spicynoodles family photo looks like? (I'm willing to bet than Shan, full of toddler energy, could barely be coaxed to sit long enough for the picture. Red is so glad that they no longer have to sit hours for a painting.) Thanks!

I love that I got this request which is kind of a similar thing to that other one for a DBK fam portrait- the two families got such different energies, it was fun making them the same but opposite

Yall’ve heard of one spicynoodles baby, but…

“Unexpected.”

Last night, MK was rushed to the hospital. He was fine, of course. Or at least, as fine as someone in labor could be. As soon as Red Son was told by MK that his water broke, he immediately went into panic mode. He was going to use his fire, but then he got worried because he didn’t know if that would be good for MK or the baby. So in the end, he drove. He ran a bunch of lights, luckily, not getting pulled over.

Now, Red Son was agonizingly waiting to be okayed to go see MK. He had been kicked out of the delivery room because he was ‘stressing MK out.’ He wasn’t that bad, was he!?

……

Ok, he would admit he was panicking a lot. So..that..yeah..now he understood how that would stress a pregnant person in labor out.

He sighed, ran a hand through the tuft of hair that grew up from his widow’s peak. He bounced his leg repeatedly as he waited. He just wanted to go see MK! He wanted to know if he was okay! Plus, he also wanted to see their baby.

“Uh..Mr, Red Son?” A voice called out. He lifted his head and saw a nurse. “Yes?” He answered. The nurse smiled. “You may see him now.” Redson didn’t need to be told twice. He immediately stood up, rushing to the delivery room where MK was on a bed. Red Son went over to him, a soft smile tugging on his lips. He brushed some hair out of his face. “You look exhausted..” he murmured. MK chuckled softly. “Hey, Red…” he smiled. “I am..” Red Son wiped some sweat off of MK’s forehead with his sleeve, then kissed it. “You’re very brave, y’know that?” Red Son asked him. MK smiled confidently, proudly. Even though he was exhausted, his smile still shone. “I do. You are too, though. I saw how you were panicking. I think you were more freaked out than me.” He laughed. Red Son flushed out of embarrassment. “That-..That doesn’t…shut up…” MK laughed more. There was a short pause before Red Son spoke again. “So..what do they look like..?” He asked hesitantly. MK lit up. “They went to do tests a while ago! I-I actually-Gosh, Red, you won’t believe this, but there’s—“

He was cut off when four nurses came into the room. Wait, why four? Red Son saw they all held babies. It took a moment, but once Red Son processed what he was seeing, his eyes widened and his jaw dropped.

“FOUR!?” He exclaimed in an embarrassingly high voice. MK grabbed his hand and squeezed it, trying to calm him down. “That’s uh-that’s what I was getting at..”

Well. This was certainly unexpected…

Red Son felt like his head was spinning and all the insecurities bubbled up. What if he wasn’t a good parent? What if he let all of them down? WHAT IF—

He was pulled out of his thoughts when he felt MK squeeze his hand again. He somehow began to calm down.

He blinked, exhaled slowly. “Well…that explains a lot…” He murmured. MK laughed at that.

Alright. He could do this! Right? No! No, don’t even think bad thoughts! He could do this! He was going to do this!

The nurses went over to them and handed each of them two babies. Of the two babies in Red Son’s arms, one had MK’s facial features. His nose, lips, jaw. Overall, very MK. But the baby had Red Son’s bull features. Little nubs where horns would grow, a tail with a little tuft of fur, bull ears. Oh, and now that Red Son saw his eyes, they were purple, just like his.

The other baby was more like MK. He had little monkey features and MK’s eyes. But he definitely had Red Son’s nose.

Oh, and on another note, both of them had some shade of burgundy hair. It was thick for a baby.

The two in MK’s arms were similar. One of them actually had traits of both of them, demon-wise. When he said that, he means like..both monkey and bull traits.

“Congratulations! You have four healthy boys.” The doctor(who apparently had gone in the room at some point) said.

Woah, four boys? Yikes. But that’s okay! Red Son loved them. They were beautiful.

They went home early in the morning. Once they got back, they set all four babies in a crib(somehow, they all fit). Once MK hit the bed, he was out like a light. Red Son didn’t blame him. It was a stressful night for Red Son, and he could only imagine how it felt for MK, who literally gave birth.

He sat down on his side of the bed and sighed. He brushed some hair out of his face and kissed his forehead. Then he changed and went to bed himself.

It took a while, but MK and Red Son finally decided some names! There was Baozhu, Xiaoli, Xinyi, and Xinyu. Baozhu, so far, was a pretty calm kid. He was curious, but also clingy. He was always attached by the hip to MK or Red Son. Xiaoli was more energetic and playful, always roughhousing with one of his brothers. Xinyu didn’t seem to mind. He was just as energetic as Xiaoli. But he was also pretty mischievous. And Xinyi was a calm baby, but he did like playing. He usually played with Baozhu, since he was calmer than his other brothers.

Now, Red Son was up and making breakfast. Pancakes! He gave the babies their food, scolding one of the more playful ones for throwing said food around.

He flipped a pancake over with a spatula, a hand on his hip. He then felt a pair of arms wrap around his waist and a kiss on his nape. “Mornin’…” mumbled a tired MK, who most likely just woke up. Red Son hummed softly. “Morning. I made pancakes, if you want any. O-Or I could make something else-“ He replied. Red Son felt MK shake his head against his shoulder. “No, this is good..long as there’s some pomegranate there..” Red Son smiled proudly. “Well, we are always in stock of that.” MK laughed softly. Then he went over to the babies, kissing their foreheads and saying good morning.

Red Son placed a plate of pancakes made just how he knew MK liked it. Maple syrup and butter, with some fruit, specifically pomegranate. MK thanked him and went in for a kiss. Red Son kissed back.

So Red Son will be a teen and still have the samadhi fire, but maaaaybe they will need to seal it partially

(so he will still own the samadhi fire but not in its entirety)

some stuff may change later , but what I'm sure is Red Son will not be baby and will still have a bit of the samadhi fire!

And yeah, they are in a cell in heaven, and MK freedom is on the line, and this is the most crazy and out of the place time and place for this. But it's THEM. Of COURSE they would have their first kiss in the most crazy of the situations.

I don't know if I have the words for how much stupid silly "12-years-old-girl-screaming-energy" happiness gived me this chapter. I had 2 weeks of 11 hours of work every single day, I lost countless hours of sleep and hadn't seen the sun in days, but man everyday after 7pm, knowing that i got to draw this part was what at the end of the day gave me back almost all the energy and motivatiom.

They are so stupid and in love your honor, I love them so much.

Wukong is a morning person. Macaque is NOT. Wukong tries to sneak out of bed in the morning but Macaque has an iron grip on him.

Wukong loves to paint so Macaque will force himself to go into civilization so he can get Wukong NICE paints.

Wukong when he wants to, likes to make new deserts and snack recipes. He has Macaque try all of them so he has a tester. Macaque likes the free snacks.

Wukong likes doing makeup so when Macaque lets him he’ll try new looks on Macaque.

Macaque CLINGS onto Wukong at parties. He doesn’t want to be there or talk to anyone so he sticks with Wukong.

Macaque once made Wukong cry when he tried joking with him when he was overstimulated. He IMMEDIATELY felt bad and still hasn’t forgot about it. (This actually happened to me)

Macaque fell first AND harder.

Wukong likes to bite. Not hard but he likes to just nibble. Macaque likes it WAY too much. He’s a freak.

Macaque doesn’t like fireworks because of how loud they are. Wukong won’t set fireworks off when Macaque is on the mountain.

They have drawing sessions together.

Tang stares at Pigsy when he cooks. There’s something so mesmerizing about his husband just cooking peacefully. He’d genuinely rather watch Pigsy than any tv show.

Pigs nuzzle to show affection. That’s why Pigsy and Tang nuzzle so much.

Pigsy has a wedding ring but he doesn’t keep it on when he cooks. Tang WILL NOT take it off. He bagged Pigsy and will not stop showing it.

They like to watch cheesy rom coms together. They laugh at them and then fall asleep on the couch.

Tang is surprisingly REALLY jealous. Not in a TikTok dark romance way, more like a whiny baby way. He knows Pigsy isn’t going to cheat on him cause he trusts him so much but it bothers him if a customer gets to close for his comfort. Pigsy isn’t jealous at all. Like no jealous bone in his body. You could hit on Tang right in front of him and he knows Tang would freak out more.

Pigsy was a MUCH more strict parent. Tang is a VERY played back dad.

Tang didn’t know how to express affection when he and Pigsy started dating so he just spoiled him with gifts.

They are a very old married couple. They lay in bed at night in their pjs. Tang reads Jttw while Pigsy watches Chang’es cooking show.

Tang comes up with the CHEESIEST pickup lines and Pigsy still loves him for some reason.

They like to tease and annoy each other but they love each other.

Spicynoodles:

Redson straightens his hair a lot so most people don’t see his curly hair. Mk LOVES Redsons curly hair and BEGS him not to straighten it.

Redson doesn’t like to share his food but she’ll give Mk just a little bit if he asks.

Mk basically lays on top of Redson when they’re in bed during the winter. Redson is basically a free heater.

Redson is Mk’s muse. He draws him constantly but he’s to shy to show her.

Mk tries to show off for Redson when they’re at the arcade. He’ll try and impress him by getting a slam dunk but the ball rick a shays off the backboard and hits him.

Redson is sensitive to touch because they’re afraid that their fire will burn people. When they start dating Mk wears more layers + fire proof gloves so that he can be all up on Red.

While rain makes Redsons hair go flat and straight, rain doesn’t hurt him. Mk INSISTS on making sure he’s ALWAYS under an umbrella so that she doesn’t get wet. Redson won’t admit it but she finds it sweet.

Redson likes to cook, a hobby he got from DBK and Wukong, so he makes Mk food as a sign of affection.

Redson has a 15 steps hair and skin routine. Mk puts on his headband and leaves the house. The man’s skin is like sandpaper.

Both like horror movies but BOTH get scared at the jump scares.

Dragonfruit:

Mei sends Redson all kinds of videos about cute animals. Redson once replied with a heart and Mei fell in love.

Mei would say “Sorry guys, I gotta get home to the wife!” And then go see Redson.

Mei’s parents LOVE Redson. Whenever she comes home they ask where Red is.

Mei spoils Redson with gifts. It’s her love language. Redson tries to do out in return but Mei won’t let him.

The two like to race. They race along beaches or deserted roads. It’s bonding time for them.

Redson fell first, Mei fell harder.

Redson gets up earlier to complete their routines and start work. You’ll be lucky to see Mei before 11 am.

Both are judgy as HELL. They shit talk anyone who dares to walk by.

Mei will use ANY opportunity to talk about how her and Redson got together.

Chimera:

Mei sleeps on the left, Redsons in the middle, Mk is on the right. They make one big cuddle pile.

Mei and Mk are SUPER clingy. Redson DOES not get work when they both wake up.

They all have movie nights. Trashy rom coms, horror, tragedy’s. They watch them all.

Mk has perfected Mei and Redsons coffee orders.

They started a plushie collection. Any time anyone wins or buys a plushie, it goes in the collection.

Mk and Mei wear boxers and t shirts to bed. Redson wears one of those big frilly robes to sleep.

Mk and Mei like to mess around with Redsons hair cause it’s so much longer than theirs.

When Mei is experimental with her style, Mk and Redson are supportive.

Mei and Redson hang up Mks drawings of them.

“What do you see in those two?” “They make me laugh.”

I finished writing these at 1 am. I have school. What am I doing.
