Jaguar Wright says Music is actually Spells and Rituals
Songs are spells and rituals are music chant I’m showing you this video because of the information stated about the music industry. The truth is known anywhere. Wherever you are lead to go, God is there. Where can I go from your Spirit?Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there;if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. Psalm 139:7-8 If God is everywhere,…

Tumblr media
"Egyptian Magic" by E. A. Wallis Budge serves as a captivating portal to the mystical world of ancient Egypt, where the realms of magic, religion, and spirituality seamlessly intertwined. Published in [year], this seminal work by Budge, a renowned Egyptologist, offers readers a comprehensive exploration of the magical practices and beliefs that permeated the daily lives of the ancient Egyptians. The title itself hints at the enigmatic allure that beckons readers into a realm where the boundaries between the mundane and the supernatural blur.
Budge, known for his extensive scholarship on Egyptology, brings to life the magical traditions of ancient Egypt with meticulous detail. The title "Egyptian Magic" acts as a prelude to a journey through the spells, rituals, and incantations that were integral to the spiritual landscape of this ancient civilization. Budge's prose, though rooted in academic rigor, retains a sense of wonder that makes the subject accessible to both scholars and enthusiasts alike.
One of the strengths of "Egyptian Magic" lies in Budge's ability to contextualize magical practices within the broader religious and cultural framework of ancient Egypt. Each chapter unfolds like a chapter in the Book of the Dead, revealing the layers of meaning behind the magical spells and their significance in the Egyptian worldview. The title becomes a guide through this esoteric terrain, inviting readers to decipher the symbols and incantations that held profound meaning for the practitioners of ancient Egyptian magic.
Budge delves into the different categories of magical practices, from healing spells to protective amulets, showcasing the diverse ways in which magic permeated every facet of Egyptian life. The title "Egyptian Magic" encapsulates this multifaceted exploration, promising readers a glimpse into the rituals that sought to harness cosmic forces and commune with the divine. Budge's meticulous research and translations transport readers back in time, allowing them to witness the rituals and ceremonies that were once an integral part of the Egyptian magical tradition.
The inclusion of hieroglyphic illustrations and translations of magical texts further enhances the immersive experience of "Egyptian Magic." Budge's expertise in deciphering ancient Egyptian scripts provides readers with a firsthand encounter with the original magical incantations. The title serves as a doorway to an ancient scriptorium, where the secrets of Egyptian magic are inscribed in symbols that continue to captivate and mystify.
Beyond the academic discourse, Budge's work touches upon the spiritual dimensions of ancient Egyptian magic. The title becomes a metaphorical key, unlocking the mystical teachings that guided the Egyptian magicians in their quest for spiritual enlightenment. Budge sheds light on the deep connection between magic and the afterlife, where spells and charms were believed to secure a favorable passage through the realm of the dead.
In conclusion, "Egyptian Magic" by E. A. Wallis Budge stands as a magnum opus that unravels the complexities of an ancient civilization's magical traditions. The title invites readers into a world where the mystical and the mundane coalesce, where words held the power to shape destinies and unlock the gates to the divine. Budge's meticulous scholarship, coupled with the evocative title, ensures that "Egyptian Magic" remains a timeless exploration of the enchantments that once echoed through the sacred temples and burial chambers of ancient Egypt.

Witchy side of Tumblr, I need some guidance
So, I got struck with the inspiration to write a chant/poem that's begging to be turned into a minor ritual, but I have no idea how to go about it.
It's white magic, petitioning a deity to help other believers in said deity break free from legalism and see the world as our shared deity intended: through love, compassion, and ways to help the earth and our fellow man. The type of effect means it's long term and will need refreshing, and I plan to cast on a new moon. All 5 elements are invoked in the chant, so should I have a physical representation of them for the ritual? Is this a burning intentions or spell jar type thing? Feedback much appreciated

My favorite simple wards to guard the home
Hanging rosemary above the doorstep, and/or above doors of the house for protection.
Sprinkling a line of dried red pepper on a windowsill, to counter a curse.
Placing a mix of dried & ground eggshells and black pepper in every corner of a room to keep out unwanted spirits.
Placing a decoration representing a witch in the kitchen, to keep away illness and to favor health.
Crafting an effigie (no matter how crude!) and make it into the guardian of your home by charging it with your intent of protection and placing it near the front door.
Crafting small witch ladders to hang around the house.

It’s okay. It did its job. It protected you. It absorbed the negative energy and broke to bring balance. I would give thanks, bury it, and replace it with a new one.
A pendulum could be made from anything, doesn’t necessarily have to be expensive. Could be a ring, or some beads on a string, or an old necklace. You might find a suitable stone when you’re out burying the first. It can be temporary, until you can afford to replace it with another that speaks to you.
Don’t forget to cleanse it, smoke from a smudge stick (I would smudge my space after an event like this anyway just to be safe), sunlight, moonlight, or even just running water. 💜✨
Found out that my pendulum is broken.
My fault
I left it in my bad and forgot to take it back onto my alter and it broke. It was a cylindrical pendulum with quartz shards inside. And the glass cylinder snapped. It's shattered. I can't fix it
It makes me really sad. Like...frustrated and really fucking sad.
I loved that pendulum. It helped me through so much, helped me with questions I was using it to talk to Loki for a while until I could afford to get him one. Now I'm broke and can't even afford my own pendulum let alone his as well.
I'm really fucking frustrated
But I also can't help but think that maybe this was a sign of some sort. Yeah it's mundane as hell because I'm just a fucking idiot but also I've been feeling really shitty these past few months and I've been thinking about my practice alot without giving been able to do anything due to energy and time.
Maybe this is a sign of some sort. Something representative or an indication of a need to move forward??
I don't know

Rituals vs. Spell work: Understanding the Difference
When delving into the mystical realms of magick, it’s essential to grasp the distinctions between rituals and spell work. Let me illuminate these concepts:
Magical Practices (Spell work):
Definition: These are simple workings—everyday magics that don’t necessarily involve elaborate rituals.
Duration: They can take seconds to a couple of hours.
Intent: They have an intention, an end goal, and a magical act.
Examples: Taking a magical bath, divination (like tarot), reciting a spell, meditating, or lighting a candle.
Ritualistic Level: Not very ritualistic; no casting of circles or complex spells.
Rituals:
Definition: More elaborate magical works with structure and specific components.
Duration: Longer than practices due to their complexity.
Purpose: Assist in walking between worlds, raising significant energy.
Components: Often involve casting a circle, calling quarters/elements, and invoking spirits or deities.
Examples: Full moon rituals, spell bottles, transformative magics, protection spells.
Spells:
Definition: Spells consist of words or phrases with a specific intention.
Components: Usually involve words (or emojis) and focus on a desired outcome.
Purpose: To signify, relate, or talk—directing energy toward a goal.

a magical toner for love and beauty
Tumblr media
i love glamour magick and i've noticed such a huge difference in my appearance and love life ever since i started using it on a daily basis! you only need 3 ingredients and it's very easy to make.
all you need is;
moon water
dried rosebuds/rose petals
dried jasmine flowers
i use 10-15 rosebuds, 1 cup of moon water and 1 tablespoon of jasmine and i boil it on low heat for around 15 minutes.
when it's done just let it cool, strain it well and transfer it to a spray bottle or a jar. you can even put your own sigils on the container to make it even stronger!
i suggest making a small batch every 7-10 days and keeping it in the fridge so it doesn't go bad.
i use it every single day on my face, my whole body and even in my hair while repeating my affirmations and i've noticed a huge difference. i look and feel more beautiful, i'm more confident, my skin is glowing, i keep hearing compliments everywhere i go and i feel adored ᥫ᭡
some of my favorite affirmations i like to repeat during my daily beauty rituals:
ᥫ᭡ i'm beautiful and loved
ᥫ᭡ i love myself and i love the way i look
ᥫ᭡ people love spoiling and complimenting me
ᥫ᭡ i'm confident and i know i deserve nothing but the best
ᥫ᭡ my hair always looks perfect
ᥫ᭡ i keep getting prettier and prettier
ᥫ᭡ i love my body and my body loves me
both roses and jasmine have very strong love, confidence, self love and beauty properties and jasmine is also an aphrodisiac so if you affirm for it it can also make you more sexy and magnetic and it can really improve your love life and your sex life!
sending you all love and light 𖹭

Little things I've done as a witch who's still in school!
Tumblr media
♡ Putting sigils EVERYWHERE. And by everywhere, I mean in my books and notebooks, inside of pens, and hidden in my calculator. I've found that using sigils helps me with my studies.
♡ Lighting a white candle and burning some incense before stressful events (exams, competitions, etc.) to calm me down and help with focus.
♡ Wearing enchanted jewellery to help with how people view me and also to help with my confidence!
♡ Since I can't wear polish on my finger nails, I put nail polish on my toes with colours that correspond with my intention!
♡ Attaching a protective charm on my bag!
♡ A 3-5 minute meditation either before leaving or after coming home from school.
