🔷Horrible star siblings upon ye!⭐

Some older ocs of mine (some of my favorites too) Cassi and Ace! they are stars that came to life, and they are technically aliens too? they are part of a wandering space crew, Cassi is the captain, Ace is second in command! (Hopefully I can show the rest of the crew at some point soon!)

🔷Cassi is bold, standoffish and Intelligent but has quite the temper, she is rather displeased/concerned about turning from a star to a sentient being, their crew searches space for any hints as to who/what transformed them (You'd be mad too if you were a thoughtless shape in a comfortable void then some weird force comes along and gives you depression)

⭐Ace is much more laid back, sassy and quite clever, he is also not happy about being turned sentient but doesn't really care and is taking time to enjoy all the things they couldn't do before, like eating! he loves food and pretty much always has a snack or drink in hand.

Alrighty folks, new year new DCA server!

Okay so we’ve seen a lot of lonely/socially awkward/new DCA fans looking for a place to talk to others and me and @flinxypie who kindly helped build this server are hoping this could be a fun place where we can coax each other out of our shells or at least spend a little while going pssppssppssssp with cat treats in an attempt to lure each other out from under the fandom sofa. The chat’s name is as of yet undecided (to be confirmed once poll results are in) but don’t let that stop you from joining along if you’re interested!

This is a place to make friends where we embrace our awkwardness, our loneliness, and maybe we do it scared but we do it anyway (don’t worry, you’re in good company!). We don’t want to put anyone up on a pedestal out of other people’s reach or have fandom in general be a big competition or grind to get “famous” or stay “relevant”, just a fun space where we’re all equally silly little guys and get to talk about fun things we collectively like and have fun doing it at our own pace.

We plan on doing throwback days for older art, we have channels where you can adopt or be adopted by new friends (a little attention seeking is good and fine actually if you’re willing to give as good as you get) or if all words are failing you you can talk in meows or pictures or one word sentences in one of our quiet channels if you wish (fun fact: there are a surprising number of house cats and cryptids in the DCA fandom). Be a part of some silly fun art/writing trades, magmas or themed art/reblog chains and let’s all draw ourselves with our AU versions or do picrews (We also want to bring back the DCA sleepovers and interaction chains because those looked fun!) along with a bunch more stuff we likely haven’t thought of yet!

Everybody is welcome, lurkers are loved, and new friends are eagerly anticipated - let’s do this! 🎠

As someone who is in a love/hate relationship with BG3 at the moment, it was truly disheartening to see the absolute GAP of content between Wyll and the vampire. Like, Wyll has a really killer introduction to the story, but the fact he doesn’t react when you do his companion quest IRKS me like… stand up for yourself brother, please 🧍‍♀️

(also this is my praying Davrin doesn’t receive the same treatment from the devs/fans when DAV releases)

And it's fine to feel frustrated about it 🥲

Things like that are read so often as negativity, shipper jealousy, a desire to see the creator destroyed, bad faith arguments

But it's really just: hey I bought this product too, I'm a consumer like anyone else, I make fanart and fanfiction and cosplay and videos like anyone else, and I have concerns I would like acknowledged like anyone else

to be clear i am not trying to disparage everyone who attends wwwyf or anything like that. there are always some genuine fans who will go who care about the band and appreciate them and their growth in every era and dont wish for them how they were 15 years ago. if any of yall get to go i am genuinely happy and excited for you!!!

i just know that the overall atmosphere (of the crowd) is going to be one that is very counter to the type of fan experience i like to expose myself to, because there are a disproportionate amount of people who call themselves fans of a band but actively hate on the music and choices that reflect the healing and growth theyve undergone and only want them to be the way they were years and years ago.

Duck Amuck in Japan | Episode 35: Space Ghost's Twisted Tower | B3crew.com

Just about all forms of pop culture get covered in this week's Duck Amuck in Japan! But first, King Baby Duck makes an error about how AFLM ranked a certain hentai category, but it all clears up nicely in the end. The guys pay tribute to voice actor George Lowe, whose Space Ghost was an instrumental part of modern entertainment. Surprisingly, JonStar gets into some Oscar talk, but it's all about the animation category.

AFLM finally gets his VCards, and KBD has some theories about the new Ghost frontman. However, a TrySail concert at Budokan has our host experiencing the worst seat in the house! But shocking news about the Black Torch anime perks the spirits back up, and the Tetris Twins share their thoughts on the first volume of Dead Rock. Lastly, it's another Steam Next Fest run, with a plethora of fun titles the guys experience!

Introducing: the first of three members of the Hurricane Brigade, Biriri (any pronouns).

A former Keron Army lab test subject used primarily for her electric powers, Biriri was dropped off (and later abandoned) on Pekopon to assist Kululu with recharging a weapon. They believed the army would come back to pick them up after the job was complete but soon grew bored of waiting and decided to explore Pekopon instead.

His idols are Hatsune Miku and Sonic the Hedgehog (after Keroro gave him the "affectionate" nickname of Sonic the Hedgefrog it was all downhill from there). They're acquainted with the Keroro Platoon and good friends with Dororo and Koyuki (the first two to find Biriri after they crash-landed on Earth), but their best friends are the other two members of the Hurricane Brigade.

Context for the comic I just posted...

you're supposed to go tranquilize a Killik Joiner so a scientist lady can try and figure out why the Killiks are attacking.

You do so, and the Joiner says a lot of disoriented buggy stuff but also says that they're swarming because of "the pain factory", which the scientist infers to be an Ulgo torture facility on Organa land.

Naturally you get sent to destroy it, then the scientist lady tries to convince you to send her the torture schematics so she can do the same thing.

Shae'zena tranqs the Joiner just fine but within 3 minutes of talking with him they're besties and also she finds out about the pain factory and takes it upon herself to help the Killiks out. Although it was a nice bonus, she didn't know that blowing up the caves would stop the attacks, she just wanted to help out these poor bugs.

She also doesn't end up bringing the Joiner to the outpost, because as soon as they get outside the range of the nest he starts acting distressed so she's like oh sure you can go back, no prob. See ya around and that's that.

When she calls up the scientist lady to tell her the problem's been dealt with, she asks for the schematics and of course Shae is like HECK NO what are you on lady!? And proceeds to suggest to Duke Organa (her bestie due to previous planetary quest stuff) that Shae should be in charge of Killik relations, instead.

Potentially fast forward about a month, and you've got an Organa-Killik alliance, or at least a truce. Meanwhile Shae and the girls party at the Killiks' place every Tuesday, and have an absolute blast. Turns out, Killik membrosa produces even better trips than shrooms (which the Nest also has in abundance) 🍄🍄
