i absolutely love 2D animations.

even here you can see he is not traditionally made in some dark ass edgy clothes but simply he literally has a pink shirt and still is the bad element.

pink shirt is mostly considered "good"

but then you see he also has a cig which is considered "bad"

sharp teeth are considered as not heroic tho

but what would you say about this cig cat?

and what about those two together when you can't see any "bad" elements? no cig no Angy face literally no teeth just nothing

there's always some thinkable elements on every 2D character.

And honestly the Soyuzmultfilm studio is an expert in it.

also another thing I love about soyuzmultfilm is that they don't sexualise anthropomorphic animals

see? pigs don't have one pair of breasts and yes pigs are kind of chunky. A sexualised pig would have a body as a Pixar mom imo

I like that those antr. animals are "biologically" or proportionaly correct. if I could call it like that.

Since we keep getting "live action" CGI remakes of already perfectly adequate animated movies, and because people need to understand that animation is a medium and not a genre, I have prepared this primer about the importance of Visual Language for Conveying Information.

Can you tell what the personalities of these two mice are?

Can you tell now?

Which of these two tigers feels safer to be around?

Which of these three dogs is the funniest one?

If you can answer these questions, then you already have experience with the idea of visual language and stylistic choices being used to impart narrative meaning. If you can understand why these choices were made to impart meaning, then you can understand why animation is a medium for telling stories that has its own inherent value, and is not merely a "placeholder" for the eventual implementation of photorealistic presentation (aka "Live Action" CGI). Animation does not need to be "corrected" or "legitimized" by remaking it into the most representational simulation of observable reality.

best about this is that this is canon

The Soviets were 'woke' and not ashamed to dress guy in "girl" clothes even as a costume so long ago and the cartoon was great. Once was the wolf even ballet with chickens in dresses.

the wolf wore a pink shirt. In the beach episode there was literally a female pig who had 3 bras.

Disney should learn that animals don't have human breasts. When commies knew it so long ago why can't westoids learn to not sexualise characters as well? Disney, Pixar....

westoids aren't able to do something so good not even now and all they can do is make non-binary cow or whatever that thing is who have no personality.

westoids are still 100 years behind apes
