My take on popular South Park ships both canon and fanon ✌️

(I don’t know all the ship names so I’m just writing their names for some)

Creek- I mostly ship it cause it’s canon. I like both the characters and think they go good together. I’m not super protective over it like some creek fans. They’re definitely more than friends, but they are just kids and it can’t be that deep.

Stendy- Old Stendy was really cute and healthy but new Stendy feels bad for both of them. Used to love them, but I don’t like this ship that much anymore.

Clybe- I like the fanon side of Clybe but if you look at the actual show their relationship doesn’t seem that good. I still enjoy the fanon side of their ship but they don’t seem like a good couple in canon

Style- I really like this ship. They’re very close, care about eachother very much, and have a really good dynamic. I will say fans seem to forget that it’s not canon. I also wanna say, I wouldn’t put them as an open lovey couple. More like kids who have crushy feelings but just stay friends.

Bunny- I really like this ship! The fanon stuff is adorable and they seem really close in canon. They’ve had some great episodes too, but again I see them like how I see style. Remember that all of these are just kids. Very cute together though!

Wendy+Bebe- I can see why people would ship them. They’re good together and all, but I personally just see them as friends.

Kyman- This ship is extremely toxic. They very clearly hate each other. It’s not some hero-villain dynamic where they “complete” eachother, they simply hate each other. Not all enemies have to become lovers. Eric is honestly too toxic of a character to be a good ship with anyone. BUT! I will say, the idea of one-sided Kyman with Cartman’s extreme obsession with Kyle is okay as long as you’re not genuinely shipping them. They would never work as an actual couple

Thank you for listening. If you disagree with these, that’s fine. (Unless you ship Kyman as a couple, in which case, block me.) But these are merely my opinions. I think people just take these ships too seriously.

Who is the nicest kid in South Park?

Honestly, the answer to that is pretty relative. Morality seems to be a pretty inconsistent thing on this show, so it’s hard to define the characters by their morals when they’re constantly changing.

HOWEVER, if you were to ask me-

Jimmy is the friendliest. Jimmy’s main goal in life is to make people laugh, which he does with his jokes. He’s shown to have a very friendly and positive attitude, showing kindness to others even when they don’t deserve it. He’s willing to befriend both Timmy and Nathan, despite both of them not treating him very kindly (initially, for Timmy at least), and it’s even mentioned by Cartman in “Casa Bonita” that Jimmy gets along with pretty much everyone.

Butters, Pip, and Tweek are the sweetest kids.

It’s no doubt that these 3 have hearts that are way too big for their little bodies

Tweek is shown to be a very empathetic and sensitive character, who cares for his friends deeply. He selflessly goes out of his way to save Stan, Kyle, and Cartman, despite them being nothing but trouble. He shows concern and grows visibly upset by the thought of them even getting PRETEND hurt in the fractured but whole, and he cries when he thinks they’re dead in stick of truth.

I don’t think there’s a single mean bone in Pip’s body, and if there is, it’s well deserved. Pip is shown to be a very polite and kind hearted kid, possibly one of the most so in the series, even comparing to Butters. And while sure, it IS implied that part of his passiveness comes from following Mackey’s advice, much of it seems to be genuine, and all this kid does is treat others with kindness, even though it is VERY much not deserved.

And Butters?? It’s well established at this point that Butters has one of the absolute biggest hearts in the show. Hes kind to everyone around him, even people like Eric Cartman or his parents. He gets mistreated by everyone, yet still cares about them, and is someone you can always count on in a time of need. Tbh, I don’t think there’s many that compare to Butters.

Kyle is the kid with the strongest morals.

Sure, he may come off a bit self-righteous at times, but I do think at the end of the day, Kyle is genuinely someone that cares about doing the right thing, and he’ll stick by these principles, even when others are against him, something that even the aforementioned above don’t do. It may make him seem like a bit of a buzzkill at times, but it is something I’ve always genuinely respected about him. He’s someone that always puts others first, and I do think it is very much worth noting.

And Kenny? Kenny is undoubtedly the most selfless character this show has to offer. The amount of times this kid has straight up SACRIFICED himself for both the good of his friends and the world is a feat that should NOT go unnoticed. Saving the Jew scouts in Jewbilee, going back to Hell with Satan in Bigger, Longer, Uncut, working tiredlessly to find a cure for covid and undo the damage his friends caused in the covid specials, and let’s not forget mysterion, a persona he created literally DEDICATED to helping others, and this isn’t even all of it. Kenny is a character who, despite all the bad cards he’s been handed in life, he still goes out of his way to help and do good for others, and THAT is something very much worthy of respect.

Special shoutouts to Heidi Turner and Tolkien. Heidi also having a very sweet and kindhearted personality before her relationship with Cartman, and Tolkien being referred to as the “nicest” by Butters himself, even though we don’t really see much of it compared to some of the other kids.

i like to think that every time cartman agrees with kyle on something, kyle gets really confused and subconsciously waits for cartman to start an argument so it goes like

kyle: …Yes, so that’s what I think.

cartman: Cool, I think so too.

kyle: What?

cartman: What?

kyle: Aren’t you gonna argue?…

cartman: Why would I? Your point sounds reasonable.

kyle: No, wait, that’s… that feels kinda weird. What about the part when I said that I formed my opinion based on that one research? Aren’t you gonna check it to see if I didn’t make it up by myself?…

cartman: Wtf, Kyle, you want me to argue with you??

kyle: No, I don’t! …But maybe you should check the last fact I talked about, now that I think about it, the source doesn’t seem very reliable.

More people need to realize how self-centered Kyle is.

In one episode, he claims to love his brother and try to save him, and in the other he basically stoppes caring about him because he found out he’s adopted. Not only that, Ike had to BEG to get his help. He also kicks him around like a fucking basket ball.

And it’s not only to his own brother, but his cousin as well. The episode is just about Kyle trying to get rid of his cousin just to find out he is a millionaire. Well, when that happens, he suddenly “loves” him and wants him to stay.

Even when he thought he was keeping muslims, christians and jews peaceful, he was doing it for his own self-importance.

At least in some time, he knows what’s right and what’s wrong, but most of the time he just focuses on his own opinion. He also thinks it’s his argument that is right no matter what.

I love characters that are traumatized from having to see their parents arguing with each other so much to the point of emotionally neglecting their child ❤️ (except in Zander and will's case their parents are divorced and are both away from their abusive fathers but that's beside the point)

How about Tweek is a complex character who isn’t defined by one singular trait? How about tweek is a generally sweet and anxious kid who typically AVOIDS confrontation but is also a lot more capable than he looks and is more than willing to defend himself and fight for the things he cares about? How about Tweek has WAY more personality and character than people give him credit for and the show doesn’t utilize that NEARLY as much as they should? How about-
