SOUTH PARK DREAMWORLD COMIC #2
[A cold breeze ran up Butter's shoulder, instantly making him shiver awake.]
[His eyes widened at the sudden darkness, the area was almost a pitch black to him making Butter's almost believe that his eyes were still shut]
[Butters takes a deep breath, attempting to calm himself. Butters knows that he wasn't going to be calm, but it was worth a try]
[His shoulders were still tight and his muscles were tense.]
[Butter's head jerks around in confusion]
Butters: "Golly! It sure is dark in here!"
[Butters says, his voice slightly trembling.]
[Butters tries to not sound scared, but his shaking body just stresses him more]
[Butters rubs his eyes before noticing strange gray outlines in the darkness and a faint glowing green light emitting from the shadows]
[Butters, thinking that it was something that could help, walks closer his eyes shimmering with interest]
[Butters is slightly put off by the strange things floating around]
[Butters wasn't a fan or the floating eyes, and that strange apple and flower freaked him out]
[Butters look at the floating balls, happy faces, eyes, flowers, mushrooms, letters, teeth, table and blan rainbow before seeing the strange green glow]
[The green glow came from a strange green glow stick floating near the wooden table with the word 'Muffin' and 'JARS' engraved into the side of it]
[Butters reaches out for the glow stick, his shaky hands grasping so tightly around the glow stick his knuckles turn a pale shade of white]
[A strange feeling starts to sink into Butter's gut, and he held onto his only source of light with his life]
[Butters couldn't shake the feeling he was being watched, but he focuses on the glow stick in his hands]
Butters: "A glow stick?"
[Butters mutters to himself, looking down at the item in his hands with curiosity]
Butters: "W-well I guess this can help."
[Butters says attempting to see the silver lining of things]
CRASH!!
[The sudden sound makes Butter's nearly have a heart attack as he yelps out in shock]
[His body starts shaking like a leaf, and his eyes were wide open. His head jerks around desperately trying to find or at least be aware of what the sound was]
[Suddenly... He saw...]
[Butters dropped the glow stick, letting it roll to the other 'persons' feet]
Butters: "LE-!?"
[Butters starts to say as he takes a step back]
[Alas Butters was too late and before he could do anything]
CRACK!!!
[A stick was thrown though Butter's skull, and it takes a few moments until a sudden burst of pain runs though Butter's shaking body]
[Butter's screams out in pain, his breathing slowly becoming more difficult as his throat starts to close]
[Blood pours out of Butter's skull like a river, as his limp and lifeless body tumbles down to the ground]
[What killed Butters slowly trails its metal hand down his dead bodies back, slowly peeling open the flesh with a slow wet ripping sound]
[The being rips away and tears off Butters shirt and flesh, showing the bloody tissues underneath the flesh.]
[The 'persons' hands grasp onto his spine, the small sharp parts of the bone digging into its fingers]
[It rips out Butter's back with a loud sickening sound, watching as Butter's blood gushes out]
[The being makes a satisfied smile before finishing up devouring his body]
[They walk over and their bloody Sharon finger slowly traces an X over the photo]
???: "oNe DoWn."
[the being says as it scratches out the picture of Butters even more, making it almost impossible to make out the image of his face now]

Weird dream story:
In this dream my partner and I were I think house-sitting for someone, but in general not currently staying at our house. So I was coming home to check up on things there. And I was in the backyard puttering around when suddenly Eliot wanders by -- Eliot my fully non-fictional cat, not a human person name of Eliot. This is surprising and bad, because he shouldn't be outside at all, but I manage to scoop him up and bring him in the house. Has he been wandering out here for a day or two, since last time I was home? Did I let him out accidentally then?
A few minutes later, he's outside again, and I realize he has some means of escape. I go inside to look around -- inside my house looks totally different from waking life, but that doesn't seem strange to dream-me. I finally find a small window, about head-height in a corner of the living room, that only has a screen, which Eliot has managed to shove out of the frame, and now he can get out. We'll have to replace the window, but that'll take time and it needs to be blocked off somehow right away. The house is sort of oddly empty, but I do find some cardboard, and I text my friend Lacey (who is the handiest person I know in real life, so that was a logical choice) and ask if they can bring me a roll of duct tape.
Now things start getting kind of dream-weird. Lacey comes over and agrees with me about the problem, but somehow we don't fix it. It's starting to rain, and I'm constantly shooing Eliot away from the window; it's not clear if he can get back in by himself, so I basically can't leave until I know the window is fixed. Chalk comes home from work and now we're having people over for dinner, but I'm not focused on the conversation or enjoying anything because all I'm aware of is the rain and this high, broken window.
When the guests leave, Chalk and I are cleaning up and discussing the Window Situation, when we notice Margo (other cat) acting weird, carrying something like she's trying to hide it. We chase her down, and it's a fucking kitten, all wet and scraggly. We check it for injuries and it seems okay. Chalk says, well, I guess we have three cats now, and I say uhhh, he is extremely cute, but are you sure that's a good idea? She says, look, Margo has really taken Kyle in and we shouldn't separate them now, and I'm like, Kyle? We've known this dude for five minutes and you've already named him...Kyle? And she's like, yeah, from South Park -- South Park, a television show that I have not really watched in about 20 years, and that as far as I know Chalk has never watched one time, ever. Even in dreamworld, this strikes me as incredibly weird, and I'm unsettled by the storm and the strangeness of all this, but I feel like I can't say no to this poor kitten that my wife has suddenly adopted (excuse me, to Kyle).
We're doing all this kitten-examining on the kitchen table, and after some commotion in the living room, we go in and find Kyle's wet mom lying on the floor, presumably having barely gotten both of them in through the window. Chalk is immediately like, we should take them both to the vet and starts pulling out a kitty carrier so we can do that, and I'm not sure we're ready to be a four-cat household, but this does seem to be happening, so instead I say, wait, we shouldn't leave until the window is fixed, everyone's getting in and out of the house and that's not good. If we leave it like this, who knows what we'll come back to? I find this thought highly stressful, but Chalk seems to be concerned only about the Kyle and Mother of Kyle situation, so we leave the house with the window broken (somehow between us and Lacey, nobody ever figured out how to block it off, we just gave up on that) and head to the after-hours emergency vet. I think there was a brief bit when we were actually at the animal hospital, but that was pretty much the end of the dream.
I don't know if that's interesting to anyone else, but it was all so vivid and mostly linear, which is unusual -- if I remember dreams at all, it's usually kind of a jumble of images and emotions. Thank you for being my dream journal, happy Ides of March.

Quirky Edition: Lotte World Magic Island
🇰🇷 롯데월드 어드벤처
📍240 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea
📆 Year-round
Lotte World has been a backdrop in the last few entries I’ve done. A major recreational complex in Seoul, it “consists of the world's largest indoor theme park, an outdoor amusement park called "Magic Island", an artificial island inside a lake linked by monorail, shopping malls, a luxury hotel, a Korean folk museum, sports facilities, and movie theaters.” (source)
It was opened in 1989, and according to latest figures it averages over 7 million visitors a year.
(source)
(source)
(source)
The amusement park is divided into two sections: Adventure (indoor) and Magic Island (outdoor).
Adventure
The inside amusement park spans four floors. There are rollercoasters, water rides, and VR rides. Some examples include:
The Adventures of Sinbad: an adventure with Sinbad through an underground waterway.
French Revolution: a high octane rollercoaster that rotates 360 degrees and is entirely indoors.
Camelot: a carousel of 64 white horses.
Aeronauts Balloon Ride: allows visitors to see Lotte World from the sky.
Pharaoh’s Fury: a dark Egyptian-themed ride similar to Indiana Jones at Disneyland.
World Monorail: travels through the amusement park both indoors and outdoors.
Lotte World Adventure (source)
(source)
Magic Island
The rides continue outside, framed on the Seokchon Lake.
Atlantis Adventure: an intense steel rollercoaster with a lost world of Atlantis theme.
Gyro Drop: VR goggles are used while ascending that simulate a futuristic landscape, before the visitors are plunged downward (similar to Lex Luther Drop of Doom at Six Flags or the Giant Drop at Dreamworld Australia).
Comet Express: a steel spinning enclosed rollercoaster.
Gyro Drop (source)
Gyro Spin (source)
Comet Express (source)
Along with the rides, Lotte World has exhibitions, cultural experiences, dining, events, and gift shops. To list everything, this post would be massive lol
Lotte World is open 365 days a year including holidays. There’s an app that can help you buy tickets, make reservations to events, find your way around and locate points of interest, check wait times on rides, and even sets alarms for you when certain events are taking place.

Good Dog: Chapter 16
Warnings: None
Notes: I had this in the works earlier this week but got caught up in family problems and couldn't finish editing it. Needed something to take my mind off things. Its a bit shorter than normal but I couldn't find much energy to add more.I'm putting this story on hiatus, I'm just too tired to really continue writing at the moment. I hope someday I can come back to this. Shout out to my dog, JoJo, though. He's the goodest boy, I don't know where I'd be without his comfort and love.
Christophe was unaware how long he slept, but he found himself waking to comfortable warmth wrapped around him. It was tempting to let himself be lulled back to sleep, having the strange feeling of safety blanket over him, as if nothing could reach him. That was what bothered him though, he never felt safe or comfortable enough to allow his defenses to fall. His mind fought through the fog of his brain so he could focus on reality, a bad choice on his part as instantly he was flooded with a dull, aching pain. It served as a reminder as to what had happened to him.
Being shot was no fun ordeal, no matter how many times Christophe had been shot, he'd never really get used to it. The best solution was simply not to move until he was healed, he was moderately safe, recalling somewhat that he'd been in the presence of Kyle and Gregory. He was as safe as he was ever going to get, but that wasn't saying much really. Gregory was the biggest danger to Christophe, not even a trained hitman posed as much as a threat as the Brit. Gregory knew all of Christophe's weaknesses, knew how to hurt the Frenchman without even raising a hand. The man was every form of torture designed specifically for Christophe.
The current torture was the secure feeling of having those perfectly defined arms curled about him.
He could feel Gregory's slow and easy breath ruffling his dark brown hair, the feel of those broad chest pressed against his shoulders. Long legs tangled with his own, keeping Christophe from pulling away, not that he really wanted to at the moment. It was so rare to have this moment, where Christophe was almost tempted to believe that they lived in a different reality. One where everything fit just right, straight out of some romance novel. Not that Christophe would ever admit to having read one before. In moments like this, it was easy to fall into the illusion, where Gregory was a caring boyfriend that only had eyes for him. They'd wake up, Gregory giving him a good morning kiss before making breakfast.
It was sickening and... Christophe could see why people found it appealing. That life wasn't for him though. He wasn't deserving of it.
"Mm, thinking of me, 'Tophe?" A whisper of a voice brushed against the back of his ear, he should have know Gregory would be aware of Christophe waking up, the tension in Christophe's body was always a dead give away. Still though, Christophe didn't respond, not bothering to humor the blonde. He was too tired to deal with his antics, but Gregory took Christophe's silence only as an invitation. Soft lips pressed against the back of his ear, a deceptively gentle kiss. One Christophe would not fall for, gentleness had never been given to Christophe except to lure him into relaxing before Gregory got rough with him.
Those lips trailed down, pressing feather-light kisses down Christophe's neck until Gregory buried his face into the crook of it. Christophe could feel those arms tighten around him briefly before relaxing again when Christophe grunted from the pain of his bandaged wounds.
"I thought I lost you again..." Gregory's voice was barely even a whisper now, muffled against Christophe's neck to the point Christophe barely understood him. Christophe understood though, no matter how much Gregory posed and did his best to keep his composure, Christophe was also his weakness. Christophe tensed, remembering what it was like the time he died, how he'd woke up to a sight that was forever branded in his memory. Of Gregory crying. He'd never seen Gregory cry again after that, though he felt like right now that Gregory was doing his best not to succumb to saddness once again.
Crying? For him?
Tears were better wasted on someone else, not him. But... Christophe couldn't help but to fancy the idea that maybe he was loved deeply enough by the blonde that fear and heartache could effect him. Maybe in another life they would have been lovers, tied together by some invisible string, maybe even destined soulmates. Christophe found some sort of peace in the idea, enough so that he dared to reach up with one hand and brush his fingers into those silken stands of fine spun gold. Gregory wouldn't have tolerated such under any other circumstance, but now, they were experiencing a different reality, a dream for as long as they could before it slipped through their fingers.
Gregory's fingers were gentle, stroking slowly back and forth over the uninjured part of Christophe's abdomen, tracing over scars as if his touch alone could erase them physically and mentally. Lips pressed kiss after kiss on olive skin, worshiping Christophe, praising him for staying alive. How could Christophe ever leave? He could never abandon Gregory. Not even God themselves could pry him away from the blonde. Against all odds, Christophe would always find his way back to Gregory, as romantic as that sounded.
Love. Romance.
Two words that Christophe avoided the best he could, but he'd never escape it. He should run from it, shun it with everything he had. He couldn't though, deep down, he yearned for it. Maybe not the love that was pictured on films, he could never live a normal life like that. However, Gregory could offer him a place... but would he?
No.
If Gregory wanted him like that, Christophe would be living in his home, not some girl that clung to Gregory's arm like a trophy. He wanted to hate her, to give in to the jealousy that clawed inside him, but he couldn't. He was aware of the truth, Gregory's lifestyle demanded someone of higher caliber than Christophe could offer. Christophe couldn't smile, didn't have that pleasant look in his eye. Not to mention the wrinkles and the bad habit of smoking whenever he was stressed, and he was stressed a lot. All in all, Christophe and Gregory were complete opposites in reality. It simply wouldn't work.
"You're getting tense again." Gregory murmured, reluctant to give in to reality just yet as he brushed his nose against the underside of Christophe's jaw. Dark green eyes peered down at the mass of golden hair, so beautiful, so perfect, like a ancient Greek god who crawled into his bed. Christophe wouldn't praise Gregory in such a way, it would only feed the other man's ego and would never let Christophe forget it.
"What are we, Gregory?" Christophe rasped out, making him realize he probably needed something to drink soon, his throat was dry.
The question made Gregory still, pulling him out of the dreamworld they shared for such a brief moment. It was best they not dwell too long there, or else what little sanity they had left would be lost. Gregory didn't respond right away, letting silence fall like a winter's chill in the bedroom. Still though, Gregory didn't let Christophe go, didn't pull away, still locked in his fear of losing Christophe. Golden brows furrow, soft lips thin as Gregory was losing himself in thought, puzzling this out, trying to find the right words to say. Thinking. Always thinking too much.
"I can't lose you again." Gregory replied as if that was a satisfactory answer, but it wasn't. It solved nothing. Christophe was on his wits end after near death. Could he possibly kept this up? He wasn't certain, but he was tired, tired of being a good dog who came at Gregory's beck and call without hesitation. He was tired of receiving nothing in return, tired of his leash being yanked and his collar tightening around his throat to the point he couldn't breathe. It was time he demanded something for himself and if Gregory taught him anything, it was to sink his teeth in and never let go.
"Implying you ever had me to begin with." It was a statement, an accusation tossed out there to hit Gregory and pin him down with a choice. He could feel Gregory's arm tighten around him, muscles like lean cables of steel locking him in place. In Christophe's current condition, he'd be hard pressed to fight back, but he didn't need physical strength to hurt someone, Gregory had taught him that much. "I'm just some stray you occasionally feed scraps to, but I've never been yours and at this rate, I never will be."
"Careful what you say, Christophe." Gregory's voice was dangerous against his ear, but Christophe wouldn't be pressed into obedience. Not this time.
"When have I ever been careful?" A sour response. "I'm drawing the line here. I'm not some side piece, some toy you can play with. Not anymore. Either you completely dedicate yourself to me, or else this will be our last job." He hated Colorado, hated the people from South Park, hated how everything crumbled apart when they were involved. It had to be this way, if Christophe did die and stay dead, what was his point? Would anyone really remember him? He'd be left having accomplished nothing in this hell of a planet. He wanted something, something for himself. For once, he wanted to be selfish.
"What do you expect me to do?" Gregory was backed in a corner now, his defenses down from stress, of being reminded of how he found Christophe. He'd rushed to find Christophe both times, and both times he'd found Christophe alone and bleeding on the ground. Everyone gone, forgetting about him. Except for Gregory. In all honesty, Gregory could never forget about the Frenchman. Forget the way those dark forest green eyes stared in defiance at him, saw right through all his charades. Christophe had never cared about looks, about manners, had always pressed Gregory to be more independent, to stand on his own instead of chasing after his father's coat tails.
"The same thing as you expect from me. Loyalty and dedication." It was simple, or sounded as such, and yet so complicated. Nothing had ever been easy for them, such a tangled mess of their lives that they tried so desperately to hide or ignore. Christophe was tired of getting tangled up in it all, he needed something stable to stand on. He didn't want this fantasy he caught brief glimpses of to remain that way, just fantasy. It would never be perfect, but at least it would be something he could work towards, something that would help him continue fighting to live.
"I shouldn't..."
"Why not?
"It will only hurt me more if... something did happen to you."
"Coward."
That got a response out of Gregory, Christophe was well aware of how much the Brit didn't like being called a coward. A cheap tactic, but Christophe wasn't one for beating around the bush or succumbing to cowardice. A firm hand came up to grab a hold of his jaw, jerking his head roughly to the side without warning but Christophe didn't resist. He knew Gregory's aim even before those addicting lips crashed onto his own. There was no waiting as a tongue suddenly delved past his chapped lips and conquered his mouth, Christophe didn't have the energy to fight back, simply letting Gregory lose himself in the moment.
This was a good enough answer for him.

WHY YOU SHOULD COME TO BRISBANE AND/OR ITS SURROUNDINGS
It’s about time I make this post! As a native of Bris Vegas, I forget that sometimes people come to QLD for holidays! So here’s a list of things to do if you’re staying in Brisbane! This is also in no particular order!
1) Eat Street. This is a fantastic open area with restaurants and other food places operating out of shipping containers. If you’ve been there before but it was a few years ago, they’ve moved since then! Just get there early or late, because the parking is awful.
2) Queen Street Mall. Ah yes, where you can walk on one street, catch a bus or train and shop to your heart’s content. I don’t know much else, tbh, because I don’t often hang there, but if you come during December (warning: the city is hotter than the beach sometimes), then the Christmas Tree is up! It’s pretty big, although not as big as the one in Rockefeller.
3) Theme parks. I’ll be honest: nothing tops Disney and Universal, but Movie World sure gives them a run for their money! Please don’t be spooked by the Dreamworld mess from a few years ago - said ride has been removed, and it’s perfectly safe now. Also, the water parks rock. I’ll count Australia Zoo among these too, but you have to go north instead of south. If you miss Steve Irwin as much as I do, I recommend going there.
4) The beach. Whether you go north to the Sunshine Coast or south to the Gold Coast, there’s always a beach (maybe even a dog beach) for you to visit. I personally hate the beach (a variety of reasons) but a ton of people obviously love them! The water is beautiful, and if you feel like getting absolutely dumped by waves, drop by King’s Beach in Caloundra. The waves are AWESOME. Watch out for jellyfish though - those are actually more common than sharks (I have never heard a shark warning in my life, although my mum once mistook dolphins for sharks!).
5) SOUTHBANK! Home to restaurants, a great movie theatre, QPAC (Queensland Performing Arts Centre) and the Brisbane Eye, this is the place to go for a good night out. There’s also the museums there and the art galleries and the state library... depending on the time of year, you might even drop in on the Brisbane Writer’s Festival or another event! I recommend going to Olé though - its a fantastic restaurant. Also, explore the surrounding parklands - there’s stuff left over from the Expo that was here, and the river is niceish to walk by (it’s not clean, which was made worse by 2011 lmao).
6) Events. There’s a lot of them. Riverfire usually happens at the end of September (it might get cancelled this year because of the bushfires), there’s Christmas fireworks, Pride happens towards the end of September (it’s tomorrow, actually, and I’ll probably be there!), I think we have NYE fireworks (we usually just watch Sydney) and then... the mother of all Brisbane events...
7) THE EKKA! What was once just a farmer’s exhibition is now HUGE! Showbags, rides, animals and a fireworks show at the end of each night! This takes place in the middle of August, and is so iconic that we have a day off for the event (Exhibition Day - I’m not kidding!). I highly recommend going, even if it’s just for an Oreos showbag and a dagwood dog.
8) Minor but still excellent locations. Mt Tambourine, the planetarium whose name I’ve forgotten and Oxford Street are fairly relaxing to hang out at. I especially recommend the first two, because Mt Tambourine has excellent shops and the planetarium is right next to one set of Botanic Gardens and also hosts amazing shows.
So that’s my list of stuff to do in Brisbane! You can visit other places too, like Chinatown (I highly recommend that actually) and the Valley (former brothel area, idk what it does now) but that’s about all I can think of! Please come visit us.

5 things families must do in Australia's Gold Coast
Whether you're into nature and wildlife, amusement parks, or just relaxing on the beach, Australia's playground is the place to make memories that last a lifetime.
1st day? Straight to the sand and waves, of course!
The Gold Coast has almost 60km of beautiful white beaches. Top picks for a family trip are Broadbeach, and Burleigh Heads. Both are great for picnicking and barbecuing, and are good spots to swim or take your very first surfing lesson – they’re quieter, and the water is calm.
Immerse yourself in the rainforest the whole of Day 2
Lamington National Park is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia, the most extensive subtropical rainforest in the world. It's an incredible place to experience nature and trek, with more than 160km of trails. To really get up close to the rainforest, try the O' Reilly's Treetop Walk, a network of suspension bridges 15-metres high that takes you through the cool canopy of flowering and fruiting trees.
A day for the kids with cuddly koalas and more
Give your kids the quintessential Australian experience on Day 3! The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, a 10-minute drive from Gold Coast, is home to all the species of Australian wildlife you might dream of. Residents include koalas, kangaroos, platypuses, wallabies, Tasmanian devils and red pandas. While you’re there, you can meet Kangaroos, cuddle Koala’s and take a tour of the wildlife hospital. Little booklovers will also love the Gruffalo Trail, a walk inspired by The Gruffalo, British writer Julia Donaldson’s most famous work. With the onset of the whale-watching season in June stretching to November each year, hop on a whale-watching cruise from Surfers Paradise to witness these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
Visit a theme park... or four
Dreamworld is Australia's largest amusement park. With rollercoasters, water rides, a 75km/h swing and the world's tallest free-fall, it's the perfect spot for thrill-seekers. Even the littlest ones can enjoy family thrill rides such as Escape from Madagascar and the Sky Voyager, a new virtual-reality ride that takes you on a journey over iconic spots like the Great Barrier Reef and Sydney Harbour. There's also plenty to do for those who like to keep their feet firmly on the ground, including animal encounters and a DreamWorks experience where kids can get close to Shrek, Po, and the Madagascar Crew. The Gold Coast has many other theme parks and experiences, including SeaWorld and Warner Bros. Movie World. Warning, you may need more than two days to cover all these theme parks, so you can plan to visit them on Day 4, 5 or more!
Tour the city of Gold Coast in a fire truck
Hop on the coolest ride in Australia for a tour of Gold Coast. Board your Fire Truck at Surfers Paradise for your adventure that starts with siren sounds as you depart for an exciting ride to the Spit via Surfers Paradise, along the beachfront / Esplanade, via Narrow Neck, and past Sea World. Plenty of smiles, laughs and waving to everybody to be enjoyed as you ride aboard a real Fire Truck! At the Spit you will be able to experience operation of a fully functional fire hose & pose for photographs holding the nozzle & wearing authentic Fire Helmets! Kids love the chance to sit in the drivers seat for a steering photo and an up close view of the Fire Engine! Then it’s time for an introduction to the workings of the truck & pump, followed by another fun Fire Truck ride with the music on for the return journey to Surfers Paradise!
Experience the food throughout the trip
Forget taking your itinerary day-by-day! Relish every moment, AND food, for every palate and preference is catered for here, plus there's a thriving vegetarian scene. The glorious weather and fresh, clean air mean most restaurants have outdoor dining areas where you can look out on jaw-dropping scenery. A must-visit is Northcliffe Surf Club, which has gorgeous views of the coastline and a family-friendly menu with classic Aussie food. If you are craving Indian food by the end of your visit then head to Kokum by Michelin star chef Mural at Main Beach Embracing traditional Indian techniques and featuring handpicked local Australian ingredients. For the best breakfast or brunch scenes must do is Paddock Bakery in Miami, Bam Bam Bakehouse in Burgeligh or Cardamom Pod in South Port.
You can connect to Gold Coast from India via Singapore, from these cities; Amritsar, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Lucknow, Tiruchirappalli, Trivandrum, Coimbatore, and Vishakhapatnam.
