It kills me to think that Taki's first English voice actor, Desirée Goyette, sang some of the songs in the 80s Garfield specials. Here's one from Garfield in Paradise where she also voices Owooda:

I almost used "So Long, Old Friend" from Here Comes Garfield, but frankly this is funnier to me.

It's weirding me out that I can kind of hear SC2 Taki's higher voice in her dialogue. The funny thing is that from a glance at Goyette's Wikipedia article, Soulcalibur II seems to have been an odd one out in her career.

I'll admit I'm more partial to Cynthia Holloway's contralto from the later games though. For my silly fic-writing purposes, I won't say I can't imagine Taki singing, but it's not like I haven't tried. (For a "didn't know she had it in her" kind of moment.) And yes, I'm using the destined battle clips on purpose. *cackles*

They are: Portia (Ancient Stone Tablets) Hero (Cartoons, and CDI Cartoons games) Soul (Soul Calibur 2) Rune (Botw/Totk)

Someone asked if Linkle in the previous post was based on the Pink Link from the magazines, but Portia is actually half based off that half based on the female avatar in the Broadcast Satelite Zelda games! Hero in this au is basically an alternate timeline (probably Adult timeline) version of Sprite. Soul has some Hyrule Warrior concept art in him as well, and Rune, is just Rune.
