it’s the saddest thing when people can’t recognize their own beauty

this thought struck me the other day when my best friend— literally a model, the most gorgeous girl i’ve met and i’m not even just saying that because she’s my literal soulmate, if you saw her you’d know i’m not being over the top

but her looks aren’t even what her make her beautiful to me, it’s the fact that she’s always radiated authenticity since the first day i met her, and she’s so so so unbelievably smart. people underestimate her smartness because she’s pretty, but this girl is literally a mastermind. shes so creative and artistic yet so intelligent & organized and ugh i could go on for days.

the crazy thing is though — she doesn’t see ANY of it. she’s constantly doubting herself or letting other peoples perceptions of her influence how smart she thinks she is, and it actually hurts me to see.

and the fact this is sooo common with everyone makes me sad. you could be a literal superstar — sza, (special, normal girl, drew barrymore etc) olivia rodrigo (lacy, pretty isn’t pretty, jealousy, jealousy, etc) even sabrina carpenter with her song opposite & cindy lou— (arguably some of the most looked up to figures, and undoubtedly so talented and beautiful —again, not just looks but mind) and still doubt your own beauty and worth. when does it end!!

they don't know it, but hinata and kageyama cannot live without each other. where would they be had they not met? they motivate each other to do better, to try harder. hinata would not have been able to start volleyball properly without kageyama's crazy sets, and he wouldn't be able to grow in his own skills without kageyama's. kageyama would not be able to adjust to others spikes until hinata was the first to be able to spike his. they needed each other, and they always will.

no matter how far apart they are, kageyama knows that he wouldn't be where he is now without hinata. hinata knows that he wouldn't be where he is now without kageyama. they are each other's beginnings, and that sticks with them forever.

Rant. Looking up Demoman on Pinterest is such a horrible gamble because I either get to see cute art of him or get violently jumpscared by a George floyd Demoman joke. Because Apparently people find it super fucking funny to spend hours of their life drawing a black character over a murdered black man. I have seen at least 4 versions of it by now.

I dont' like to get serious on this blog. Since its supposed to be a blog to give my favorite guy the attention he deserves but I seriously cant like Demoman without knowledging the actual vile treatment he gets from this fandom, Its exhausting. Being hyperfixated on him for the past year has become super depressing because of the incredibly normalized racism I see towards him.

As a black person, sometimes it feels like you really can't have anything.

um guys honestly I'm going to quit dark content or just writing in general for my own health. I definitely had fun coming up with ideas, writing them, and interacting with some of you but I'm reading the Bible more and I've been Christian my whole life but just like I've have been lukewarm the whole time and I'm trying so hard to fully commit to it recently because of how depressed I've been and how much I wanted to end my life the past few months. Especially after a very terrible break up, I haven't been okay since and it was just a very dark time for me because it was the lowest I have ever been. I really need to start focusing on myself more and now just feels like the right time. I'm sorry to anyone who enjoys my writings but sadly I won't be continuing any time soon because of how long/much I have sinned and lusted. I'll probably be writing still but no more smut or dark content. I hope you guys can respect my choice.
