Selina and Bruce are both Pisces ♓️ !! (*spoiler* VERY compatible) Her birthday is March 14th and Bruce’s is February 19th

Now let’s talk about Pisces ladies 💙 🐟 !! Think Liz Taylor, Sharon Stone, and Jean Harlow (who was actually one of the women Selina was based on!)

People love to downplay Selina’s generosity and compassion, but it is a huge part of her character that I adore. She’s extremely empathetic and protective especially towards children, women, and of course, cats!

Selina is a very cultured person, even though she grew up poor, and then lived on the streets for most of her childhood, she has sophisticated taste, from clothing to jewelry to art.

For the relationship aspect, Bruce and Selina do a lot of “non verbal communication” and Selina’s love for things like art, dancing and opera and ballet are things they often enjoy together,

They even have similar music taste! Big Jazz lovers, these two 🎷

Selina is a big romantic, she craves understanding and connection, and she has certainly not had the easiest going with her relationships (aside of Bruce). In E2 , she married young to an abusive man who also financially abused her after she divorced him. In Post crisis, she was groomed first by her abusive Pimp/Boyfriend who had her working the streets at 13, and then by an older man named James Stark who she met at around 16 when he killed one of her clients in front of her. Later on, she would use her Catwoman identity (after being inspired by Batman) to escape both these men.

Love and violence has very much gone hand and hand in her life. But It has not killed her desire for it. She STILL dreamed of marriage and love and a beautiful life full of happiness.

In contrast, Bruce treats her like the precious person she is. He often makes sure to verbally tell her that he doesn’t think she’s weak or NEEDS protection. He considers her a world class fighter, he’s called her one of the strongest people he knows, there’s no one else he’d rather ask for help when his world is crashing down, his respect for her cannot be understated. But at the same time, he will ALWAYS worry for her, and he will always protect her anyways. It’s simply deeper than romance. It’s gravity, it’s soulmateism, It’s two hearts beating across time, it’s quite literally written in the stars!
