You weren’t sure which was worse - the dinner your mother was hosting, or the idea that you now had to put up with a whole night of Luke’s strange nephew, whom you’d never met before.
Of course, you loved your family to pieces, and you loved Sookie and Jackson; hell, sometimes you looked at Luke as more of a father than you did your actual dad, but having everyone together for what you knew would be at least a three course meal, under one roof, with Luke’s mysterious nephew from New York, just felt draining.
So, to preserve what little social battery you had left for the day, you decided to spend the time between school and dinner in your room upstairs with a good book and a cd playing from the player that sat on your dresser at a low volume. You had to change the cd twice, first from one of your mothers Bangles cds to a Smiths one, but just as you were enjoying the beginning of David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust album (and nearly finishing up your book), did you hear the clanging of pots and pans from downstairs, as well as Sookie and Jackson’s lighthearted bickering.
You managed to bury yourself back into your book, one leg crossed loosely over the other outstretched one as you half-sat, half-laid on your bed, being mindful of your shoes so as to not get any dirt on your covers.
From downstairs, Jess was wandering around the Gilmore home as everyone else did whatever they were doing in the kitchen, internally monologuing and half-mocking their decor. He’d met Rory already, and she seemed like a nice enough girl. Enjoyed books. But he had yet to meet the third and final Gilmore girl, who so far had only been mentioned. However, as Jess scanned the various photographs on the mantle, he could hear the faint guitar of Suffragette City emanating from somewhere upstairs.
After peeking down the hallway to make sure no one was watching, Jess smirked and snuck up the stairs, into what was surely off-limits territory for someone like him. Still, he took the stairs two at a time and stealthily, managing to avoid all the places that would creak in a house like this one, despite never stepping foot inside beforehand. He followed the music down the hall, past some more paintings and pictures, to another bedroom. The door was open, and he was able to take a look inside. Posters covered most of the wall, leaving little space to show off the paint beneath them. Bookshelves occupied the wall right beside the door, and similarly to Rory’s room, they looked stuffed to the brim with books.
On the bed, facing him, was the person he assumed to be the final Gilmore girl - Rory’s twin sister. He watched intently, scanning every feature of your focused face as you scanned the final pages of the book you were reading. How your brow furrowed, eyes locked on the ink before you. The way the foot that hung off the edge of the bed was moving to the beat of the song.
Once Jess had decided that he’d been watching you long enough to constitute stalking, and how that was probably extremely creepy, he nudged the door open with a creak and stepped inside, clearing his throat and pulling his lips into a slight smirk. “Hey there, Ziggy.”
At first, you thought that your mother was finally calling you down to dinner, until you heard the unusually male - and entirely unfamiliar - voice come from the body in your doorway. Tucking a receipt into your book to mark your place, you glared over at the boy standing in your room with his hands behind his back, smugness rolling off of him in waves as he admired your room.
“You’re Jess, aren’t you.” Your flat tone seemed to amuse him.
“How nice, you already know my name. I’m flattered.”
You watched him as he walked around your room, over to the window where your desk was, trying to figure him out as he peeled back your curtains. “It’s impossible to not know someone’s name in this town, even someone who’s only been here for 28 hours.”
He chuckled. “Nice one, Ziggy. Now tell me, why aren’t you downstairs with the rest of the freakshow? I mean, they are your family, after all, aren’t they?”
You pretended to smile, but it came out as more of a grimace. “Sorry to break it to you, Mariano, but I’ve been banned from the freakshow. Apparently having apathy toward any sort of Gilmore humour is forbidden, and they’ve locked me away forever.”
“Aw, so sorry to hear that.” Jess mocked, placing a hand over his heart with an exaggerated pout. “I can’t believe they shunned such a ray of sunshine.” He smirked at your rolled eyes. “No, really, you must be a real treat at parties.”
“Quit it, Mariano. Is there a reason you came up here or did you just want to cause enough trouble to get kicked out of our beloved Stars Hollow? Because if so, you came to the right girl.”
Jess’ brow quirked. “Really?”
“Yeah,” you heaved a dramatic sigh, slipping off your bed to walk over to Jess. “But it’s like… 9pm on a Wednesday. In Stars Hollow. Even if I wanted to cause trouble, and I don’t, because I did enough of that at school today, there’s nothing to do. Everyone’s asleep, and I’m pretty sure our 24-hour mini-mart closed like, half an hour ago.”
Now it was Jess’ turn to roll his eyes. “Your sister said that already. Is there seriously nothing to do here?”
“Nope.” You shrugged, just as a thought came to mind. “Well… there is one thing…” Jess’ eyebrows raised at the prospect of having something fun to do, and you couldn’t help but laugh. “It’s not anything revolutionary, you know.”
“Still, give me something, anything, to get us out of here, Ziggy. I’m begging you. I’m being suffocated by the stale air of suburban life.”
You nodded, tapping your fingers on your thigh. “Fine, I’ll tell you. But you gotta do one thing for me.”
“What is it? I’ll do anything, I swear.”
“Stop calling me Ziggy.” You said. “It’s a stupid nickname, and although I admire the fact that you listen to David Bowie enough to come up with a nickname like that one, I hate it. Call me by my actual name.”
“Well I would, if I knew it.”
“My mother never told you my name?” You asked with a raised brow. “She never shuts up about me and Rory, I’m surprised you never caught it.”
“Apparently, I didn’t. It seems she likes talking about Rory more.” Jess shrugged. “At least, around me she does.” He barely caught the slight sag of your shoulders, the drop in your demeanour, before you picked it back up and smiled.
“Well, Jess. I’m Y/n. Y/n Gilmore.” After a pause, you looked around and snagged a sweater from the chair in the corner of your room. “Now, if you’ll follow me, let’s go have as much fun as we’re able to in Stars Hollow at night.”
Jess waited impatiently behind you as you unlatched the window by your desk and pushed it up, slipping through and holding it open for him. As he clamoured out, you grabbed the rock underneath the window and placed it on the windowsill, lowering the window so you’d still be able to get back in later.
You could still hear the tail end of the album playing as Jess looked around.
“How are we supposed to get down?”
“The trellis, obviously.” You said, carefully making your way across the porch’s roof to the trellis right next to the kitchen window. “Just don’t make much noise, this thing is right next to the kitchen’s window and if we get caught we’re screwed. Follow my lead, and run when you hit the ground, got it?”
“Got it.”
Scaling down the trellis was basically second nature to you, but you made sure to look up every once in a while to make sure Jess was doing okay. He seemed to be, which comforted you somehow. You waited at the bottom for him, making sure to stay out of view of the window to the kitchen and the edge of the porch, which were on either side of the trellis, and could possibly get both you and Jess grounded.
When he landed, he looked at you, and a dish clattered in the kitchen. You both snapped to the window, then back to each other. On instinct, you took his hand and ran toward the woods.
“Where the hell are we going?!” Jess whisper-shouted.
“Relax!” You whisper-shouted back, slowing to a stop as soon as you were hidden in the tree line. “We’re not going into the woods, dumbass. What do you think would’ve happened if we waltzed out in the open in front of the living room window?”
Jess only sighed and nodded, letting go of your hand. He let you lead him through the trees, keeping the light of the house close to you, walking around the garage and past all the cars, waiting until Babette’s house was out of sight until you stepped back onto the road.
The walk was calm and quiet, crickets and the breeze occupying you instead of chatter. After a while, when you were beginning to reach the town centre, Jess spoke up. “So, what now?”
You shrugged. “Not sure. Usually I head to the lake, bring a book, or a cd player and some headphones. I don’t normally bring people with me, you know?”
Jess nodded, lips slightly pursed. The walk continued through the town, passing by shop after shop, all of them closed for the night. You had to admit, you weren’t used to taking walks like these, out in the open. Normally you’d find whichever path kept you out of the possible sight of the townspeople, a habit you developed after Taylor snitched on you to your mother after he caught you walking to the lake by the Inn when you were 12. Still, it was nice, and even if you were caught, you somehow didn’t seem to mind it.
As the buildings were fading again and you knew you were approaching the lake, you checked your watch. 9:27pm. You sighed, and Jess looked at you. Dropping your arm, you shook your head. “Almost 9:30. They definitely have to know something’s up at home. Probably sending out a search party by now.” You told him, before shrugging. “Or, you know, miraculously, they forgot we existed and are eating Sookie’s delicious no-allergen, fourteen course meal as we speak.”
Jess scoffed. “Yeah, right. Luke might not care that much, but Lorelai? She seems like the world’s most protective parent.”
“She is.” You confirmed, sitting on your usual bench, eyes following Jess as he sat next to you. “Trust me, I love her to death, but it gets annoying sometimes.”
“Yeah, well, at least you have a protective mom.” Jess’ hands gripped the edge of the bench, his body hunched forward, making him look small, ready to run at a moment’s notice. “Mine decided I wasn’t worth the effort. Shipped me off to this… circus show without so much as a ‘sayonara, kid.’ You’re lucky.”
You frowned. Everyone knew within the hour of him arriving in Stars Hollow that Jess was a troubled kid, but even troubled kids deserved parents that cared. He was right, though, you were lucky. It just didn’t feel like it.
“I know I’m lucky, Jess, but it’s not all rainbows for me, you know.”
“Oh yeah? How?” He scoffed. “You have the perfect life, Y/n. A mom that cares, a great twin sister - hell, even Luke sings your praises.”
“Luke sings?”
Jess rolled his eyes. “You know what I mean.”
“It’s not like that all the time, Jess.” You sighed. “My ‘great’ twin sister is, apparently, so great that she has all eyes on her at all times. My grandparents are always so proud of her for being so smart and planning this amazing, expensive, studious future - they’re planning on funding it, too, from the sounds of things. I just want to live, you know?” You kicked a rock with your shoe, avoiding Jess’ concerned gaze.
“And my mother seems more concerned about her wellbeing than mine, closer to her than to me. But somehow she wonders why I’m the troubled one. I mean, I act out, I barely go to that stupid prep school because it’s so suffocating, and I got an eyebrow piercing without permission instead of taking a calculus test last month, which I’m just getting out of that punishment. Everyone’s so focused on Rory and how seemingly great she is, I don’t even remember the last time I was appreciated for anything. And don’t even get me started on my dad.”
“Sounds like these freaks don’t know a good person when they see one.” Jess told you. “You seem chill. Adventurous, too. But just because you aren’t appreciated doesn’t mean you aren’t good enough.”
You couldn’t help but smile. “You too, Jess.” The world quieted around you for a moment, stars shining off the rippling waters of the lake. “But we don’t need to be good enough for them. Just good enough for us.”
He smiled, nodding once at you. Again, you appreciated the silence with him, watching the water or the sky. It wouldn’t be long until Luke and your mother found you both, you with your head on his shoulder and one knee bent to your chest, laughing quietly at a joke he told as you continued to get to know one another. But that was later. For now, you simply sat and watched the water, wishing the moment could last for the rest of your lives.

Just wanna say I love your acct and I wholeheartedly agree with everything you say about dean and lorelai.
I swear Dean has no good moments in the show at all.
Lorelai imo has at least three; realizing Emily doesn’t have anyone to vent to the way she has Rory and so she goes and sits with Emily and tells her she’s there if Emily wants to talk; getting a dvd player and stack of musicals for Emily so she has something to do in the evenings when Richard is gone bc she really had no reason to do that; and calling Rory out for having an affair with dean, esp telling her she doesn’t get to call dean “her dean” anymore bc he’s Lindsey’s husband(tho Lindsey 100% deserved better. She tried to hard to make him happy and make their marriage work and he could not have cared less) and that she can’t blame the wife for the husband cheating. Weird that she’s the voice of reason in that moment tho bc she was also the person who went and slept with Chris after having a fight with Luke soooo kind of a hypocrite but yk
Thoughts?
I won't deny she has her moments, and as much I like to snark that Luke wants to kick her out of his diner or bash his head in wtih a frying pan rather than listen to her talk and such, I really do enjoy their flirtationship. Sometimes I do pity her for the way Emily treats her/talks to her. She's a hyprocrite, she's immature, selfish, and stubborn, her obsession with Dean and her insistience on going to the ends of the Earth to defend every shitty thing he does to Rory is gross, half the time she flat out doesn't even listen to Rory and gives her terrible advice, the on-and-off thing with Christopher is disgusting, she's completely rotten to Jess for no reason, sometimes she treats Sookie like crap, I could go on and on. Don't like her. I watch and enjoy the show for many other reasons besides the titular characters. Glad you are enjoying my Tumblr :)

hello hii I was tagged a hot minute ago (sorry I’m very late on this) by @anyachristinaemmanuellajenkins and @doppelganglands for a get-to-know tag game and tho I’m late on it i still rlly wanted to participate so here goes
1. three ships:
-spuffy (it’s like a worm that’s settled shop in my brain it’s not going away sorry, and I’m very pro turning spuffy into a throuple with like angel or faith or dru like I wanna support THEIR endeavors it’s women supporting women)
-sookie x eric northman from the sookie stackhouse series (ie true blood but it’s the books that scratch the eric northman itch wayyy more to my liking, I think it’s bc the books hate bill the way I hate bill, which is a lot more than the tv show for some reason)
-giles x jenny x ethan… I just think they’re all hot and i want them together with tension-filled bickering. lock me up and sue me
2. first ship ever: im having a hard time figuring this one out bc my memory has kind of disintegrated over the years but I think it was sam x danny phantom (ghost mode), again just bc I thought they were hot and I wanted to be them (but specifically ghost mode danny bc non-ghost mode danny is Just Some Guy and child me was already Just Some Guy). if it’s not that it might’ve been bella x edward— not to air out my dirty laundry but twilight (2008) ignited something feral and disgusting within young me. I think it’s the vampire thing
3. currently listening: ‘miami’ by caroline rose. im having to restrain myself from listening to it too much bc I do have a tendency to gorge myself on the things I love until I’m absolutely sick of it. also any and all things Tennis.
4. last movie: the Banshees of Inisherin. It’s about despair and breaking up with a friend and the lack of answers & resolutions that can surround an ending to that kind of relationship and it’s silly and it’s got irish accents and tiny little donkeys and I liked it but my mom hated it
5. currently reading: perhaps I did start rereading the sookie stackhouse series and perhaps I am already on book 4 “Dead to the World” by Charlaine Harris. eric just lost his memory btw. he’s wrapped in a blankie in sookie’s house and he’s watching her boxed-set of btvs. if you even care.
6. currently watching: The Last of Us on hbo. mushrooms are so cool man
7. currently consuming: iced coffee :) I made it myself :) and it’s very Just Okay:) (it’s pretty bad)
8. currently craving: I got a new nonstick pan so I’ve been making a lot of over-easy eggs and eating english muffin breakfast sandwiches. not to be a woman in her twenties but something about the nonstick being super non-sticky is making me feel alive
bc I am a bit late on the game I’m informally tagging mutuals and anyone else who wants to give it a go! thank you for coming to my tedtalk
#tag game#mutuals I feel like this is implied but I always want to know more about you all both on an intellectual level and carnally

9. Have you tweaked the character from canon? If so, what did you tweak? 10. Would you say that your portrayal is canon divergent or not? 11. Are there some things you dislike about how the show/series/etc. portray the character you have picked up? If so, what?
canon questionnaire.
9. Have you tweaked the character from canon? If so, what did you tweak?
Off the top of my head, the one thing I did tweak is that she is more faerie than what we get to see in the show. I'm still reading the books so I can't wait to see how that all pans out, but as far as the show is concerned, I tend to give her more faerieness. In the show, she's only able to read minds and use her photokinesis (microwave fingers) to a certain extent. On this blog, she's not only able to do those things at full-faerie capacity, but she's able to do things that the full-faeries can do. She can create light super novas that don't cause her to become human, she can create dimensions on her own and go through when she feels like it, create electric currents, and interfere with magic (to a point, she's not stronger than a witch exactly, but can mess with their magic). I try not to make her too powerful but as I develop her throughout the years, so do her abilities.
10. Would you say that your portrayal is canon divergent or not?
I would say that she is to a point. There are definitely canon events that I don't agree with, or certain things that Sookie said or did that I felt was out of character. I've definitely rewritten some of them on here before and will continue to do so if I see fit.
11. Are there some things you dislike about how the show/series/etc. portray the character you have picked up? If so, what?
I know that the show started with Sookie and Bill and therefore the creators and writers decided that they wanted to end on that note as well, but I completely disagreed with that so fucking hard. I've written about this a lot, and ranted to fellow friends about it (you know who you are lmao), so I'll try to sum it up in this little post lol. I don't deny that Sookie and Bill loved each other. They went through a lot together, almost died several times for each other, and proved there wasn't anything they wouldn't do for each other. What we didn't realize was that the only reason Bill kept himself so close to Sookie in the first season was because he was sent by the queen to investigate her and what she was. He accidentally fell in love with her, but he still loved to her. And then lied to her over and over to protect his secrets. And almost got her killed several times to protect that. And almost killed her himself. So when she finally broke it off with him at the end of season three, and then proclaimed at the end of season four she was going to focus on herself instead of being in a relationship with anyone, I was super proud of her. Then suddenly season seven rolled along and after all of her character development, they trashed it by throwing her at Bill again. They trashed everyone that last season though to be fair. So I'm pissed about all of that.

Hi there! First of all, thank you for taking the time to write out your thoughts like this. It was interesting and fun for this one!
I’m kind of unsure of my label. I use bi but could also go by pan; I’ve also been calling myself demisexual, but graysexual might be more accurate; I just recently discovered the term “sex-favorable asexual” and feel very seen by that! I’m also “not a girl” but still kind of a girl, but mostly I just exist? So… yeah, I’m a blob of random ingredients in the vague shape of a person. Just wobblin’ around. Enjoying nerdy things.
I like the idea of Luke being ace. I think it makes a lot of sense for him. And Lorelai seems to have a high sex drive, specifically for men, but I also loooooove the idea of her being queer. Like, every scene with her and Rachel is…. mmm 👩🏼🍳😘 so I have my own idea for a fanfic where she’s a lesbian and doesn’t realize it until she develops feelings for Daisy (genderbent Luke). And also Rory is pan and Paris is very gay for her. But I could also see Lorelai realizing she’s attracted to women, coming out as a lesbian, and then later realizing… oh, I do still have attraction to men… I guess I’m bi. Oh, and for sure, Sookie is a lesbian. Jackson is now Jacqueline, and I picture her as Jewish and a woman of color. Sookie is also Jewish, but doesn’t really practice, whereas Jacqueline does.
Happy (belated) Ace Week, Gilmore Girls fans! 💜🖤🤍
So I started headcanoning Luke as heteroromantic asexual but of course he has no idea he’s asexual or what asexuality means. I also headcanon Rory as demisexual (hetero-demisexual) too. I can explain why… but it would be more fun maybe to explain in fic form. To analyze them from the characters’ own perspective instead of my perspective kind of a thing.
I genuinely would love to write a fic exploring either or both of these things! However… um…
*Sigh* so it’s hard to know how to broach this when Gilmore Girls was so queer-unfriendly of a show, even with a gay main character (Michel) who was in all 8 seasons (8 if you count the revival). The show avoided directly acknowledging his being gay for most of the show, while indirectly acknowledging it every chance they could and making his whole characterization one of mostly comic relief and the butt of all sorts of types of jokes. They very rarely took him seriously as a character. And he was sidelined; not a member of the town in any real way.
But I’m a queer person who has adored Gilmore Girls for nearly 20 years. I still adore so much about it. Started watching it when I was 14 years old and season 4 was wrapping up airing, and I’m 33 years old now. I didn’t know at the time that I was queer, or that my type of queer identity was even an option—I’m a sex-averse asexual but I’m also gray-panromantic, interested in dating people of all genders, and as a woman I have dated other women and a nonbinary person, and I have a lot of queer friends and acquaintances that span nearly every LGBTQ+ identity. This week during Ace Week 2023 marks the 10 year anniversary for me of coming out to myself as asexual. It’s hard to still be so attached to a show that is so cisnormative and heteronormative—and that’s not even mentioning all the queerphobia they wrote into the show via jokes.
During my most recent rewatch of the entire series around December 2020 into February 2021, when I got to somewhere in season 4 I decided to start taking notes of every time queerness is at all referenced, every transphobic and homophobic joke, etc.
Part of me wants to find a way to salvage that Lorelai joked about liking women herself because actually she was bisexual, like this fits in as a headcanon that the reason she joked so often about it was because it was on her mind for other reasons. I don’t even know if she joked about it that often but fairly often. A lot of the queerphobic jokes generally came from her? But certainly not all. But her jokes sometimes include herself as into women and it just makes you think “What if she really was? All this time?”. Lorelai also teases many other characters, especially Luke quite often, but sometimes people like Sookie or Rory, and implies they are gay or queer in some other way.
Rory seemed to be much less canonically homophobic and transphobic. She cut her mother off once when her mother was teasing her homophobically and calls the jokes “inappropriate” even and part of this is just Rory didn’t have the same kind of sense of humor as most of the other characters. She seemed less amused by life, by even their jokes, but especially her characterization was just being a person less likely to crack a joke herself. She did tease Paris in ways that evoked referencing queer things or lesbians but I’m not sure Rory’s humor crossed the line of being actually anti-being queer in any way. Some of this humor is more chuckling at double entendres in English rather than chuckling at the existence of queer people? Like Paris saying she’s sleeping with a girl and Rory bringing up The L Word in reaction.
Actually, though, looking back through my notes for season 4-ish till the end, a lot of characters don’t come up much, or the way they come up is in a different context. Jess actually… I don’t think he ever once cracked a queerphobic joke nor laughed at one. He was the butt of two in season 4 (both from TJ). I hadn’t been taking these type of notes in seasons 2 or 3. I have memorized most of Jess’ scenes and I just don’t recall the early seasons having him being queerphobic. I could be wrong though.
I wasn’t taking notes when Dean or Christopher were on the show much so idk if these men had any such moments. And as far as my notes show, Sookie is just the recipient of Lorelai’s teasing at moments, not queerphobic herself. Kirk is not gonna joke about that stuff, just seriously defend himself against being perceived as gay at moments. And the show frames certain things he obliviously says as a gay joke but he’s not purposefully making any. Maybe really the most homophobic characters are Lorelai and even Luke, and at a few times Emily & Richard.
Logan’s style of homophobic jokes seem more playful and somehow less offensive to me. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say that but there are ways to tease that aren’t based in as problematic of a starting place. It’s like he’s not afraid to include himself in it the most, so he’s not distancing himself from the queerness? Idk I’d have to rewatch to see if I still have that same impression. He’s also just… more worldly than some of the characters feel like to me. He’s experienced bigger city life more or travel and broadened horizons? He sorta seems like he has more friends than a lot of the characters is maybe part of it. But I’d have to rewatch those moments to see how I really feel about Logan’s gay jokes and if this headcanon of him being less homophobic really is valid.
Anyway, here we are…
I basically feel like in order to write a fanfic that feels genuine and actually includes asexuality/the word "asexual" without feeling forced, awkward, etc, it can’t jump to including it. These characters were SO far away from being able to talk about or process that term. These characters needed to grow and change in various ways before it would fit in the worldbuilding and characterization?
I think the only way to make this work is gradually, slowly. The only way is to showcase that these characters actually do have experiences that shape them into being more and more ready for asexuality to exist in their world. The only way I can make it believable is if I can figure out the missing steps on the bridge between where the show was, and where I want the fic to go. I think it’s not just one missing step. It’s not that simple.
I think Lane and Jess were never small towners. Jess came from NYC, then later as an adult moved to live in Philadelphia, both cities. They are the most likely to meet openly queer people and broaden the worlds of people like Lorelai and Luke as they themselves learn and grow. I think it isn’t a stretch to think of Lane and Jess as very much LGBTQ+ allies, and Jess isn’t likely to become the most vocal ally but he… in his own quiet way could very much be one. And he is very closely connected to Luke’s story, even more than Lane, although both of them are. Lane worked for him in the diner and knows him well. Jess and Lane are both extremely connected to Rory’s story. So for either the Luke asexual headcanon or the Rory demisexual one, Jess or Lane could be a key piece of their stories. Anyway I was saying Jess could sneak up on you quietly with his allyship. His would be maybe more casual and incidental perhaps.
Lane though. Lane is loud. Lane is bold. Lane is the kind of girl the show could have easily chosen to write as queer herself in any number of ways. But the show didn’t. The show wrote her as very much straight. But she’d… RELATE to the queer experience deeply. She’d be drawn to become a vociferous ally, appreciating the LGBT plight because her upbringing made her feel like she wasn’t allowed to be herself, like she knows what it’s like to be disowned by her mother, for her parents to not approve of who she wants to date/who she loves—in her case because they aren’t Korean or aren’t Christian enough. And yes Lorelai lived a very parallel life in some ways to Lane, they are supposed to be mirrors in some ways, but there are key differences.
I feel like Lane, also in part because she’s younger, is easier to imagine as this kind of ally. A big difference between Lane and Lorelai is that Lane started in the small conservative mostly white town as an outsider racially, too. And she leaves to go on tour, to broaden her horizons and was never destined to stay in that small town forever. (I say screw the revival’s mistreatment of Lane.) Lorelai wasn’t raised in that small town, and instead Lorelai chose it for her adult self and feels at home in it. That’s a very different story.
Lorelai, however, has an interesting additional point for the start of some change or growth. Lorelai has Michel. She has been bearing witness to his life for basically decades as a close friend, theoretically. Michel could call her out on her bullshit at some point. He could tell her something she is saying is offensive, is crossing a line that isn’t hers to cross.
Also if my headcanon about Luke is to come to fruition, then Lorelai is dealing with being in a long-term romantic relationship with a man who isn’t super into their sex life. The way I interpret his asexuality is that he’s… not really into sex. He’s having sex pretty much only because she wants to. His sex drive is low. He’s very romantic, but he’s not very sexual. She’s always initiating. Her sexual flirting is making him uncomfortable. And he’s just… idk. I have a lot to explore specific to this headcanon once I figure out the fic I’m writing. I just think Lorelai will be somewhat primed to believe in and accept the existence of asexuality since she’s been living with a complicated truth that neither her nor her partner understood—that Luke’s potential weirdness around sex/their sex life could be explained by asexuality. I’m not saying they never have sex. But it could explain why when the revival started something had held them back from actually getting married all those years. It could explain some of the issues between them. And it definitely works well alongside the fact that Luke spent so many years single.
I think in order to write this fic, I need to outline a plot that establishes a relatively gradual shift in these characters’ appreciation for the fact that not everyone is straight in the world. That there are more possibilities, make sexual orientation generally something that could comfortably be discussed in a Gilmore Girls style way, with tasteful humor sprinkled in but no longer punching down or ridiculing people who are gay or gender-nonconforming.
I think I could do it. I just need to find or make the time for it.
So. I was gonna write a short ace fic for Ace Week while it was still #AceWeek2023 and instead I wrote this meta essay adjacent thing and posted it slightly late. But I hope someone can appreciate this insight into my thought process. I hope it was interesting or fun for at least one of you. :) Thanks!

Oh My General. 6
Story: 8
Acting: 10
Chemistry: 8
Comparable to: The Romance of Tiger and Rose (cdrama) ; General and I (cdrama)
As much as I know this is a popular drama among fans on the role reversal I just couldn’t get into it…. Well I shouldn’t say that, the first fifteen episodes I absorb quickly loved it lots, then somewhere there on I just couldn’t get into it as much the storyline went nowhere. It sort of picks back up around episode 37 but by then I’ve lost a lot of focus to it. Don’t get me wrong this is a hilarious drama at times, especially the first half, I just wished it edit itself down some it since it dragged a lot in the middle and for me the chemistry between the leads was just okay nothing va va voom like. 🤷♀️

Halloween event
Support me on Ko-fi
Make a request
Shutting the door you sighed and leaned against it. The Halloween rush had been insane and you were more than happy to have a few days off. You’d closed your eyes and leaned your head back against the door.
But when you opened your eyes you saw that the living room was quite literally covered with sweet wrappers over every inch. You couldn’t make out a spot that didn’t have a wrapper on it. You could hear Jason round the corner so heading to the kitchen dining area you went to ask him what happened to all the Halloween candy as there was no way you could get more on such short notice.
“What the hell!” You said slowly. Jason jumped and turned around to look at you.
“I can explain.” He said quickly.
“You ate all the Halloween candy! You know all the stores are sold out. I literally complained to you yesterday about that lady who thought we had a secret stash of candy in the stock room and we had to call the cops when she wouldn't leave.” You complained. You sounded more whiny and frustrated than cross but Jason still looked worried.
“There’s no more anywhere else… oh hi (Y/N).” Hoyt said rather sheepishly.
“What’ve you been doing?” you asked them. You crossed your arms and glared at them until Jason relented and went to the fridge. He pulled out a giant ball made up of a wide variety of Halloween candy.
“Seriously?” You said unimpressed with what you saw. Hoyt looked appropriately guilty but Jason frowned.
"I get that you’re mad I melted all the candy for Halloween. But look at the giant candy blob I made!" Jason said rather eagerly and showed you the giant candy again, holding it aloft like the money in the lion king held by the cub at the beginning of the movie.
“What was your involvement in this?” You asked Hoyt.
“I just came over to check in on him and found him making this.” Hoyt said and gestured to the tray, pots and your good pan which were all not covered in this sugary residue or drying chocolate.
“Then you can go.” You said and gestured over your shoulder to the door with your thumb over your shoulder. Hoyt did not wait for a second opportunity to leave and abandoned Jason to your mercy. “Do you know how hard it was to find all this candy after you ate the first load?” You complained and frowned firmly at Jason.
“I’m sorry! I’ll get more.” He insisted.
“How? All the stores in town are sold out. There will be kids here for candy any minute.” You snapped.
“Any minute?'' Jason said slowly as if he was sure you were joking.
“Yes. It’s Halloween.” You answered with more irritation. Jason’s eyes went wide and he nodded slowly.
“It’s Halloween.” He repeated.
“You’re going to have to rush to the weird store in the next town over and hope they have candy. Apparently, that’s the only place that has any. You better eat that giant candy blob as well. I spent thirty dollars on all that candy.” You said as you went to your room to change into the costume you’d picked out to wear while giving out the candy. It wasn’t anything fancy and you’d still be comfortable while watching a few Halloween movies at home. Jason left and was gone for a long while. He’d chipped off a big chunk of the candy ball to take with him. He managed to make it back just as the first trick-or-treater was hurrying up the path. Jason gave them extra candy as payment for them not telling the other houses that he wasn’t prepared enough. As the candy bowl grew lower the ball of candy Jason was eating got smaller and smaller. He’d almost finished it when he got up and groaned, saying he needed to go lay down. While he went you answered the door and found Sookie holding her candy bucket.
“I heard someone ate all yours and I haven’t had many visitors this year. Figured you might need to stock up. There’s a couple of big groups on the way.” She said as you beckoned her in. She sat with you on the sofa and after a while, the trick-or-treaters arrived. “Where’s Jason?” Sookie asked.
“Laying down. He’s eaten about five kilograms of candy in one day. He probably has a stomach ache.” You said as you opened the door and held out the bucket. There was a cheer as they saw Sookie’s candies. She liked to make handmade ones that her grandma taught her to make. You saw off the group and went to find where Sookie had gone. Jason was laying on the bathroom floor groaning. One hand clutched his stomach while he gnawed on the little piece that was left of the candy blob.
“Jason, if you feel so bad stop eating it! You’re gonna end up in the hospital and you don’t want to do that on Halloween. You’ll be stuck with all the weirdos.” Sookie insisted as he poked Jason’s leg with her foot.
“I’ll get you some water.” You muttered and fetched Jason a glass. He spent the rest of the night laying there until Hoyt came by with dinner as a way to be sure he had made amends for participating in Jason’s holiday antics.
“I’ll pull him out to the hall and get him a bucket. That way you and Sookie can use the bathroom.” Hoyt said as he pulled Jason out of the bathroom too many objections from Jason who accused Hoyt of being a traitor. Strangely enough once Hoyt dished out the dinner, Jason miraculously recovered, managing to eat two helpings and even complained loudly about the Halloween special that Sookie had put on. Though he was still far too unwell to get up and open the door to trick-or-treaters.

lgbtq+ headcanons for yhs/ts characters, specifically my faves
(also disclaimer but in my mind of this, most of the yhs/ts world is accepting as hell of trans/enby folk)
taurtis:
demiboy and bi (they/he pronouns)
he’s amab so he doesn’t really have to worry about transitioning, which is also why he fuckin froke out about sam/samantha wanting to cut his d!ck off. he does NOT wish to transition at all, but does kinda like dressing feminine.
sam/samanatha (not a favorite character but i figured i should explain this since he was in the taurtis hc):
transfem genderfluid and omni (any pronouns except for it/its)
she acts homophobic as fuck sometimes, but that’s cuz she’s in the closet. she also wanted to try out being a girl (hence the cross dressing arc) and that’s how she found out she did genuinely like being called a girl sometimes. sometimes they hated it and then questioned what the fuck they were for a while, eventually settling on genderfluid.
dom:
trans ftm and gay + t4t (he/it)
alright so he’s not really out about being trans to anyone except his dad, who’s chill w it. but as soon as dom came out as gay, mr dorito kicked him out of the house. he was 100% fine with his son being trans but not gay. he also ended up having a crush on samantha but didn’t know she was genderfluid, once he found out he still knew he was gay. his crush on sam also faded away, but he still found her really pretty.
gareth:
bigender and polyromantic/sexual, attracted to non-men only (she/he/it)
gareth was open about being both, especially with his gender. she also was very aware of grian being trans ftm and tried to support him as much as she could before she died, even going as far as starting him on testosterone with his consent of course. jane was also aware of her wife and son being lgbtq+ and was VERY accepting of it (jane’s the only cis one out of the four).
grian:
trans ftm, genderfaun, and gay (he/they/xe/wing)
grian was adopted into the nightman family a year after he moved into japan, hence how he’s related to them. he’s a stealth trans man but his family is very aware of it, which is why gareth and jane helped him start t when he was in his teens. when he goes swimming he refuses to actually do so, claiming his wings will get fucked if he tries to. he hasn’t had the surgery yet since he’s still a minor but his parents plan on helping with it once he turns old enough to have it. (i am aware the gay thing is canon)
sookie:
genderdoe, lesbian, and asexual (they/she)
sookie is open about her sexuality and gender identity as well and tends to hold parties during pride month (and october since that’s seen as one too). her parents aren’t too accepting of them being a lesbian and ace but they don’t say shit about it, especially since they moved out to live with yuki and soul. (same as grian, i’m aware they’re a lesbian canonically)
bonus!!!
pepe frogman:
boyflux and pan (he/they)
he was the last to come out of the nightman family, he was also adopted by them much like his brother. pepe doesn’t really care who knows about his gender and sexuality, but he does take pride in his identity, one of the few things about himself that he does.

UGHHH it’s been so long since I watched YHS and even then I watched it from sams pov If that’s the yhs we’re talking about of course, I only remember someone trying to make it seem like Sam suicided but it was a murder, amazing cinematography, a fist fight that ended with jail and a bunny doll, and cross dressing for some reason with Samantha and Taurisa. And green girl. And foreign exchange students. And fish n chips or smth.
Sam's the only pov it is. Sam did have someone try to hang him if that's what you're thinking about, there was. like. two panning out scenes but mostly was just . . minecraft first person pov, sam got jumped and Sam IS a bunny hybrid who has a bear? so you might be thinking that. and then there was the god awful crossdressing arc. Green girl is Sookie, who deserves better. and the foreign exchange students are all my beloved. JTS will be missed. . .
series was a trainwreck piece of shit but it was OUR trainwreck that we physically have stolen

[wlw] Lorelai Gilmore & Sookie St. James -requested by @the-october-reviewer
-endless possibilities: one day, without either of them really noticing, Sookie is simply moved in. Rory visits from Yale and there's now far too many pots and pans in the kitchen, an unfamiliar red cardigan hanging from the bannister, and both Lor and Sookie look just so happy and at ease. "it was long overdue," Rory says.
yes it was.

@ofxscavengcrs said : Baking cinnamon muffins (martin and sookie)
“I think those smell like we put just the right amount of cinnamon in,” he says with an evaluative sniff of the now-cooling pan of hot muffins. “I mean, you can definitely tell the flavor without even eating it, so that’s a good sign. I’m feeling optimistic!”

johnny kavanagh quotes in binding 13
“You made me sleep on the floor, Johnny! That was mean."
"Because you can't be trusted with nice things."
"Not even a bed?"
"Yes, Gerard, not even a bed."
"Yeah, well, I'm your best friend and you put me on the floor," he shot back with a huff. "The dog gets the foot of your bed and I get the fucking floor."
I arched a brow. "Are you saying that you want to sleep at the foot of my bed?"
Gibsie stared back at me for several seconds before snickering. "Yeah, okay, I have no idea where I was going with that."
"Neither do I, lad," I muttered with a shake of my head. "Neither do I.”
“He lost it, lad. Went batshit crazy. Broke off his lead and made for the bathroom. Took a dump in the tub."
"Like his owner," I quipped.
"My mother has never taken a shit in anyone's bathtub," Gibsie snarled.
"Not your Ma," I retorted. "You.”
“You don’t smell it because you're immune," Gibsie retorted. Turning to Joey, he said, "He lets the mutt sleep on his bed every night."
"Call my dog a mutt again and you'll be wearing that frying pan," Johnny warned.
“I had to fight the smile threatening to break free when Johnny stopped at the top of the staircase to scoop up Sookie and then proceeded to carry the huge, 80lb minimum Labrador down the stairs like she was a baby cradled in his arms.”
“I'm going to be there one day," Johnny stated, tilting his head in the direction of the telly. "One of these days that's going to be me, Shannon.”
“Well, resurrectionator is a word."
"No, it bleeding well isn’t." I shook my head, aggravated. "It's not phonetically or grammatically correct."
"Grammatically correct?" Gibsie balked at me. "Look at you, Mister Higher-Level English, thinking you know everything with your Great Gatsby and Shakespeare. Well, not this time." He tapped his temple. "This time, I'm the smart one."
"It's called basic comprehension, Mister Foundation-Level English, and I'm telling you now, that you are wrong.”
“Still, I would have liked to have been told about this when it happened."
"Well, now you know," he bit out. "It was an accident. I didn’t mean for it to happen, and I don’t go around clocking girls over the head for shits and giggles.”
“And your intentions, love," Mam replied.
"My intentions?" The fuck?
"I know it's early stages and what I'm about to talk to you about is a long way off for you both, but it's important that you know about it."
“About what?"
"About sex, love."
My mouth fell open. "Why are you not hearing me? Why isn’t anyone hearing me anymore?”
“All the homework in the world won't help you if you walk in there without studying."
Gibsie grinned. "I promise I'll get caught up over the Easter holidays, Dad."
"Don’t give me that Dad shite,”
“Don’t be a prude," Gibsie chuckled. "It's perfectly normal."
"Lube is normal," I agreed. "You, on the other hand, are not.”
“Outside Center – that's you, right?" I asked. "You're 13?"
Johnny nodded.
"Unlucky for some," I mused.
"Not for me," he shot back with a grin.”
“They fixed my dick, Gibs." With a great deal of effort, I managed to hold a thumb up and wave my hand around aimlessly. "Happy days."
"Woohoo," Gibsie cheered, catching ahold of my hand. "Best news I've heard all year." He squeezed my hand. "You know what that means, don’t ya?"
"Shifting jackets," I slurred.
"Exactly," Gibsie chuckled. "Soon as you're back on your feet, I'll have you out on the tiles."
"Boys," Mam chastised. "Gerard, don’t encourage him."
"You get it, Gibs, You get me.”
"You are worth so much more than rugby."

❝Well... Nothing really changes around here.❞ Centuries could have passed and they all would be here, with the same interests, focusing on themselves, thinking that only a year had passed. And yes, his tone may be a little bitter, but if Sookie had been around, and assuming she was not just like the others, she would understand. His thoughts are interrupted as she tells him what she is.
❝A what?❞ After everything he has seen, Guillermo shouldn't really be surprised to hear that faeries existed, but he supposed this was not how he expected them to look like. Perhaps more like tiny women with wings and a wand. Like... from Peter Pan. He really needs to read about all the supernatural creatures that actually exist. Just to see if any of them are dangerous. ❝I didn't know faeries existed❞ he admits with a sheepish smile, which quickly disappears ❝You can read minds? Just like that?❞
It didn't really surprise her that Lazlo and Nadja didn't have a familiar. While the idea of having someone do everything for them while they focused on their own pleasures, they had always been poor at choosing the right familiar and she had a feeling that they hadn't changed (hence not having one now). Sookie was getting ready to think that having a familiar was like having a child, but sometimes she wondered if it was the other way around. Familiars took care of their masters like they were children sometimes.
❝ Nandor's still here, great! ❞ The faerie grinned, grateful that the roommates had all stuck together the past decade that she had disappeared. She was afraid of coming back to big changes like them having all moved on and leaving her feeling like she didn't have a place or a family (if they were that) to come back to. She wondered - hoped, really - if they even missed her while she was gone.
Seeing as how Guillermo knew all about vampires and that was a secret he undoubtedly kept to himself, plus the fact that her vampire friends could potentially out her anyways, she figured she might as well tell him. Besides, he seemed a little more intuitive than some familiars she had met before. ❝ Oh, uhh, I'm a faerie. No wings. No pixie dust either. Just a lot of mind reading. ❞

Another one for you! What are your five "go to" GG episodes you find the most rewatchable? They Shoot Gilmores and The Lorelais' First Day at Yale are definitely both on my list, but I'm still trying to pick just three more from the zillion other episodes I love :)
Thank you for this. I really appreciate it💕 Right off the bat I’m going to apologies for how long this is. I couldn’t keep it to just five episodes and I had a need to explain why these are my most rewatchable episodes.
1) Forgiveness and Stuff (1x10) I’m such a sucker for Luke being there for his girls. The way he gives Taylor, the guy he’s thrown a frying pan at because he’s annoying and he hates him, the keys to his establishment just shows how much he cares and knew Lorelai needed him. It makes me happy. Plus it’s where we get the classic blue hat. Lorelai saying Luke always looks good and Luke saying “I can’t imagine anyone seeing you as a disappointment.” Such cute moments in this episode.
2) Dead Uncles & Vegetables (2x17) Just as I love Luke being there for his girls, I equally love when Lorelai and Rory are there for him. Luke and Lorelai are a cute married couple in this episode (and pretty much all episodes really) and you can’t convince me otherwise. Also, don’t we all just love the way Rory makes Jess help out. It’s so funny seeing him just let her and we all know he’s loving it.
3) A Deep-Fried Korean Thanksgiving (3x09) If you don’t join in when everyone is chanting ‘Jackson,’ then you haven’t been watching this episode right. I love getting to watch the girls go through their Thanksgiving traditions, especially Lorelai and Luke’s. The Lane and Dave moments are cute! The girls eating with Luke and Jess is adorable and they all look like a cute happy family. I adore the fact that Lorelai takes food from Luke’s plate. I’m telling you these people have been married since day one. Plus it’s Jess and Rory’s first Thanksgiving together as a couple and ain’t that cute! I love drunk Sookie! She’s funny and I can’t help but say her lines with her.
4) A Tale of Poes and Fire (3x17) It’s super fun seeing Michel interacting with Miss Patty and Babette. Lorelai screaming ‘Stella’ for Luke to come to the window is always fun to watch. But the best part is Lorelai telling Luke about her dream and how they smile while discussing it. Lorelai not being about to tell Luke that they kissed in her dream because it hits too close to home brings out the feels. Oh and Rory’s going to Yale!
5) The Fundamental Things Apply (4x05) Luke and Lorelai’s first movie night. I love how Lorelai teases Luke about not having watched many movies and not knowing what the FBI warning is. It’s so fun to watch. I love how comfortable they both look while they sit and watch Casablanca. Luke helping Rory out with her awkward date is cute, and a little Dad moment which fuels my ‘Luke has always been a father figure to Rory’ feels. The best moment is when Luke is sleeping on their couch and Rory says, ‘He looks comfy there, doesn’t he?’ and Lorelai looks like she doesn’t want to think about how comfy Luke looks because she doesn’t want to admit how much she likes seeing him there. And I’m definitely reading way too into that look but it makes me happy so it counts.
6) The Incredible Sinking Lorelais (4x14) The proud and happy smile on Lorelai’s face when she’s looking at the gum wrapper with the Dragonfly’s first reservation makes it worth watching this episode. She’s adorable and I’m so proud of her. Lorelai wearing her Bon Jovi hat and Luke commenting on it is fun. The best part about this episode has to be, as Lorelai puts it ‘the meltdown in the park’ moment. Lauren Graham is so good at emotional scenes (and pretty much everything this woman does) that it always hits me when Lorelai is breaking down. Of course I love the fact Luke instantly knows something is wrong when he sees her and he’s there to comfort and support her.
7) Let Me Hear Your Balalaikas Ringing Out (6x8) Lorelai jonesing for her colours is super fun and cute. Colin and Finn are funny when they’re drunk. ‘I’ve forgotten how to get into a car,’ always cracks me up. Then he appears. The man of the hour. Yes, Jess Mariano. It’s nice to have Jess back for this episode. I alway forget how much I love his interactions with Rory until I watch them again. I’m super proud of all he’s done and seeing him come back, showing his book to Rory and telling her that he couldn’t have done it without her is such a beautiful moment. Probable one of my favorite between the two. And of course seeing Jess questioning Rory and being able to wake her up and make her realise that she’s not acting like herself is the best. All that said, the part which I just love is when Paul Anka gets sick and Lorelai is in Rory’s room watching him sleep. Once again Lauren is just incredible and makes my heart hurt at hearing Lorelai say she's a bad mother. Luke being there to comfort her is an added bonus, especially the way he touches her hair to comfort her.
8) Santa’s Secret Stuff (7x11) I know what you’re thinking, how is a season 7 episode where Lorelai and Chris are still together on my most rewatchable list? Well let me tell you why. I love getting to hear about Lorelai and Rory’s Christmas traditions, such as how they put green and red M&M’s in their cereals on Christmas day (which I did last year and let me tell you it be yummy) and getting to see the girls go through those traditions is nice. Gigi isn’t my favorite character (honestly have no opinion on the kid) but she’s adorable when she copies Lorelai as she says ‘The redcoats are coming.’ The fact Lorelai doesn’t think twice about helping Luke with the character reference warms my heart to no end and is just super cute. Talking about cute, Luke and April! These cuties! Always love any Papa Luke moment. Luke being a Dad is so cute to watch and I love April (just hate what the writers did with her storyline in season 6 but that’s a rant for another day). Love that she’s 60% atheist and 40% agnostic. This girl is so quirky and I’m so here for it. What makes this episode one of my most rewatchable episodes is that scene between the girls and Luke and April when they’re all out shopping. This scene is amazing because it shows how much Luke cares for Rory. He’s always cared about her and throughout the years has always given her gifts for her birthday and holidays and maybe they weren’t the best gifts, but the love is what counts especially since Luke finds going out to buy presents such a daunting task. It just makes me happy seeing how much Rory means to him. What makes me love this scene is the smile and just the look on Lorelai’s face. If that look doesn’t show how much she loves and admires Luke then I clearly need new glass. (side note: I actually do need new glasses but that’s besides the point lol)
9) I’d Rather Be In Philadelphia (7x13) This episode just really shows how great Luke is. The fact the moment he finds out about Richard being at the hospital he just had to go and see if everyone is okay, to see if Lorelai is okay is next level cute and just reminds me why Luke is always going to be the better man. Yes, he has issues and has dealt with somethings in ways that I just want to punch him so hard his hat starts spinning like Daffy Duck's beak, but he’s always there for his girls even when he’s not with Lorelai which just further shows how much he cares and is generally such a great guy. I love that Luke let’s Emily give him chores to do and that it kinda feels like he’s part of the family because he’s helping out, but then I remember he’s not and that hurts. I love that he comes back with food and a fish bag. He’s a cutie. Love that Lorelai is happy to see him. Logan is there for Rory which is nice to see. It’s interesting to see how everyone deals with Richard being in the hospital this time around compared to in Season 1, mostly Emily. All her moments especially when she has a little breakdown in front of Lorelai, and then her talk with Richard hurts to watch but in a really good way.
10) It’s Just Like Riding a Bike (7x19) Lorelai’s dress at the start of this episode is the only reason I rewatch this episode endlessly. Ah well that and some other things too, I guess but mostly the dress. When Lorelai calls Sookie, that whole scene I personally feel like it presents a parent having to deal with sick children so well. Sookie’s place being a mess, her sniffing what I’m hoping is milk from the kid’s bottle and using it for her coffee, and also picking a lollipop from the tablecloth is really how life looks like for a parent just in general, let alone when their kids are sick. So it’s refreshing seeing this being presented in a realistic way. Luke and Lorelai car shopping is awkward but I love every moment of it, especially when Luke starts ranting and then they starts bickering. The smile on Lorelai’s face. Lord take the wheel because my heart can’t deal with the cuteness. The smile screams ‘I have him back’ to me and I love how happy she is about that. Luke doing everything in his power to make Lorelai be able to have her old car is just sweet, and have I forgotten to mention that this guy is just the best? I love it.
Okay, I’m finally done and the fact you’ve gotten to the end of this is amazing. It was hard to narrow it down to just these because there are a lot of episodes I love and rewatch often, like a bunch from season 4 and 5 but these just happen to be the ones I go to when wanting to rewatch an episode. It really only occured to me once I was done that I have no season 5 episodes on this list and more season 7 ones which I’m not even sure why that’s the case but it is. They Shoot Gilmores and The Lorelais' First Day at Yale is definitely episodes I watch often, especially because they both have cute moments: ‘Another kid might be nice’ and 'Rory says thanks for everything, too,’ are some. Thanks again for the ask, It was a fun distraction. 💕
