Ecran OLED superb, e o plăcere să îl folosești, să te uiți pe el la poze, filme sau să te dai pe net.

Design și feeling premium, se poate compara cu orice telefon de top.

Filmează clipuri video în 4K HDR, și filmările sunt faine.

Părți mai puțin bune

Senzorul de amprentă e amplasat cam incomod, la jumătatea telefonului, am tendința mereu să apăs pe camera foto ca să deblochez telefonul.

Prețul la liber e cam mare, raportat la opțiunile disponibile pe piață de la concurență.

Design, hardware și unboxing

Încă de când l-am primit și am făcut unboxingul m-a încântat finisarea telefonului, complet din sticlă, cu margini rotunjite și ramă metalică pe margini ce te ajută să îl ții în mână. Puncte în plus pentru lipsa moțului, am testat și telefoane cu moț, nu pot spune că mă deranjează, dar nu văd un avantaj considerabil al acelei adâncituri în zona vizibilă de pe telefon, e doar o chestie estetică. Dacă renunțau la logo-ul Sony în față cred că ar fi fost perfect, dar cel puțin e amplasat mai discret acum.

Conținutul cutiei e cam sărac, ai telefon, încărcător, cablu de date și adaptor pentru căști. Nu sunt nici măcar căștile standard Sony în cutie, deși la ce calitate audio scoate acest telefon ar fi meritat să fie incluse.

Mi-a plăcut și că au păstrat butonul fizic pentru pornirea camerei, util dacă vrei să scoți o poză rapid.

Pe partea de hardware nu am ce să reproșez, are procesor puternic, mai mult decât suficientă memorie de lucru, telefonul se mișcă foarte repede. Bateria ține lejer peste zi, dar nu aș pleca cu el dimineața la muncă fără să îl încarc.

Software

E primul telefon lansat cu Android 9.0, și interfața e curată, Sony nu a modificat prea mult sistemul de operare. Cu ce iese in evidență telefonul e Side Sense, prin atingerea lateralelor telefonului poți avea acces rapid la ultimele aplicații folosite. Tehnologia e faină, e folosește și Samsung, și HTC, deși mai dă rateuri uneori.

Cum e camera foto și video

Camera din spate e bună, deși e doar una. Am obținut poze detaliate, în culori foarte apropiate de realitate aș zice , și noaptea mi-a fost ușor să fac poze bune până la 2 metri distanță. Ce m-a fascinat cel mai mult a fost filmarea la 960 fps, poți obține niște efecte faine, cum e cazul clipului de mai jos:

Merită cumpărat?

Partea interesantă este că prețul telefonului variază mult de la o țară la alta, la noi la liber e printre cele mai scumpe, la 799 euro. Dacă ai un abonament Orange sau ești fan Sony sigur vei aprecia modelul XZ3.

Sony Xperia XZ3 shows up with Android 9.0 Pie and Snapdragon 845

Sony Xperia XZ3 has been launched by the company, the Xperia XZ3 is the world's first smartphone with Android 9.0 Pie operating system. It also sports a tall curved 6-inch QHD+ OLED display and houses the Snapdragon 845 chip. Lets find out more.

Design

The Xperia XZ3 was also designed with aluminium alloy and glass just like its predecessor. It also has a double-sided sloping edges for a perfect grip. There's a single rear camera at the top middle, with the LED flash on top and fingerprint scanner underneath. It will be available in Black, Silver White, Forest Green and Bordeaux Red colors.

Display

The phone sports a massive 6-inch QHD+ OLED 18:9 extended display with TRILUMINOS and X-REALITY. The screen has a resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels along with a 537 pixel per inch density for clear visuals. The screen also got up to 80.5% screen-to-body ratio as well.

Software and Hardware

The new smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 845 chipset from Qualcomm runs the show, coming with 8-cores of processor which clocks at 2.7GHz for a smooth ride. The Adreno 630 graphics card handles graphics. For storing files, the device packs 64GB internal storage space which is expandable up to 512GB with a memory card. It has just 4GB RAM space as well for multitasking through apps.

Camera

It's equipped with a single 19MP rear camera for photography. The camera is AI-powered with Motion Eye and accompanied by a LED flash alongside other internal features. While for selfies, it sports a 13MP selfie shooter.

Battery

Powering it up is a 3300mAh battery capacity with fast charging technology. With the fast charging feature, charging the battery from 0% to 100% shouldn't take up to 1.5 hours.
