Unlike the last one, which was mired in Edna Valley *comfortable-ness*, here we have a version bursting with individuality and varietal expression. Rosy and granular in the glass, the nose explodes with deep, ripe characteristics akin to cool-climate coastal environs and hints at raspy, WC fermentation. Deep, dank berry…

(via Kyrsten Sinema's Rock Star Campaign Spending Possibly Less Ethical Than Clarence Thomas On Random Tuesday - Wonkette)
New York Post business reporter Lydia Moynihan dug into Sinema's campaign spending habits. (Apparently, Murdoch media is not showing Sinema the bipartisan centrist love.) What Moynihan uncovered is both hilarious and appalling.
Since 2021, Sinema has spent nearly $20,000 worth of campaign donations on wine-related expenses alone — dropping thousands at some of the most exclusive vineyards on the West Coast including Promontory Winery in Napa Valley, Auteur Winery in Sonoma and Argyle Winery in the Willamette Valley, according to election filings.

🖊+ your current VtM favourite! I don't know em off by heart but I'm interested :0
Send me a “🖊+an OC“ and I will talk about that OC! It can be a headcanon, a fun fact, a small paragraph of backstory- anything!
Forgive the bit of spicy art - don't have anything really new to share of this character:
The one that is the most fleshed out is Milla here, a Toreador who makes her home in Sonoma Valley - West Coast of the States. She was embraced during the Gold Rush of California in 1850, a price payed in exchange for the Camarilla's boosting of her familial fortunes. From there she helped to guide what would be a thriving wine trade for the living while also subtly masked the web of underground blood trade for fellow Kindred.
And as both wine culture and blood trade has become so instrumental to the identity of the elite of Sonoma Valley in the passing years, Milla eventually was able to operate as something of an Independent, for her offer of such an important resource was pivotal to all of those that hunted in the night, no matter what they swore allegiance to.
Milla operates in a very human world and blends easily within it, treasuring those that 'donate' to her efforts. She is obsessed with wine/blood-bottling as an artform (perhaps to a fault), and her army of dolls, and the aroma of new blood.
She was to be an NPC my players would eventually meet in a campaign I had started, but it has been put on pause in its infancy, and I am not sure when it will become active again. I like the idea of Milla though, and I think I would enjoy playing her in someone else's chronicle some day.
Thank you, @mekanikaltrifle !

Advice for an Exceptional Wine Tour
Make a strategy: Reservations are often required at vineyards, particularly for special tours and tastings. To guarantee you get the most out of your trip, make sure to plan your itinerary.
Take It Slowly: It can be tempting to visit as many wineries as you can when there are so many to choose from. Nonetheless, your tour will be more pleasurable if you take your time and enjoy the moment at each winery.
Drink lots of water and eat healthily: As wine might dry you, make sure you keep yourself nourished all day long by drinking lots of water. You will get more out of the experience and be able to taste more wine if you pair it with food.
Benefit from Extra Services: Wine Country Limousines provides services including cheese and wine pairings, snack baskets, and customized tours. Your wine tour can be enhanced and made even more memorable with these options.
Seize those Times: Remember to pack your smartphone or camera so you can record the breathtaking views and special moments from your wine tour. There are beautiful locations for pictures at several wineries.
