#Sonic.Exe was just a poorly written creepypasta

Me looking at my current interests knowing full well that one day the fandoms will die out and be forgotten, new content won't be made of it anymore, and that I'll grow out of my interests one day and forget that I've ever had interests in them to begin with:
#This keeps coming back into my brain like a burning memory and I hate it#Like wdym one day I'll just randomly stop liking my favorite cast of spooky hedgehogs and plumbers :(#Idk I feel like I'm hyperfixated on them?#Sometimes I think back to times when like#Sonic.Exe was just a poorly written creepypasta#And how Mario's Madness didn't exist yet#And I wonder what I'll be like today if they never existed#And honestly I really don't wanna grow out of them#Im scared I'll find something new to like and just forget them entirely#I don't want that to happen#I hate the thought#I also hate the idea that one day the fandoms I'm in will die out#I kinda just don't want to be in a fandom where it's just like 5 people#I want to see content of my favorite characters get made by other people#That aren't just the creators#And I don't want them to be forgotten either#Especially with what's going on with MM rn#Man...#Sorry for the long rant/vent#I needed to get my thoughts out#Also sorry for putting the Sonic.Exe and Mario Madness tags#I know this isn't directly referencing them but they are my current interests#Nvm#They were here before but I deleted them#I found it unnecessary

i am trying to find a bad sonic creepypasta from like 12 years ago and no other sensible person would care about it
but i am not a sensible person
so can someone PUH-LEASE tell me they remember a Sonic Creepypasta by the name of "Sonic Generations: Twisted Amy"
it was a typical poorly written Sonic Creepypasta made during the hype of Sonic.exe and all. it was about this guy finding a used copy of Sonic Generations at a game store, entering a level not found in the game, and a spooky version of Amy comes out to kill both Classic and Modern Sonic
so why do i care?
BECAUSE I CANNOT FIND IT IN A WRITTEN FORMAT ANYWHERE (technically)
I HAVE CURRENTLY FOUND WHAT I BELIEVE IS THE IMAGE ON THE ORIGINAL PAGE TO THE STORY BEFORE IT WAS DELETED
AND I FOUND A READING OF IT FROM ALMOST 11 YEARS AGO BUT IT DOESN'T LINK TO THE ORIGINAL POST (plus no offense to the narrator but they slur and stutter their words so bad in this)
youtube
the ONLY written version i've found of the original story is from a random Donkey Kong Country blogger page, and the main caveat is that it's in Portuguese
i cannot speak Portuguese.
of course i could google translate my way through it but that comes with the errors that tend to come with google translate. i want to find the original story as it was written
this is the most stupid thing for me to want to find but dammit old poorly made creepypastas are a guilty pleasure for me and i wanna find this
i don't remember if i read it on the creepypasta wiki or some other website, part of me wants to say it was the someordinarygamers wiki but that i'm not sure about
but yeah i just wanted to ramble about this hyper specific thing that no one's thought of in probably a decade buh bye

creepypasta discussion videos confuse me so much sometimes, people will go on and on about how a specific creepypasta was poorly written or whatever but why does that matter? Creepypastas like sonic.exe or jeff the killer left a huge cultural impact for a lot of people, shouldn’t that be more important to discuss? I don’t want to hear again about how sonic.exe had every possible cliche, I want to hear about the huge community that spawned around it and how that left an impact on the online community! A creepypasta could be the most beautiful written thing ever but if it never gained traction or an audience can it really be said to be better then the more poorly written ones that did? It just feels like these videos are focusing on the wrong details, when they could be discussing why it got popular or the impact it had, because I know from my creepypasta days without things like jeff the community would have been a lot different

Horror Gaming: MaRIo III Creepypasta Review
Welcome to a new edition of Horror Gaming and it is that time of the year again for the Halloween season. I do tend to read more horror than watch those marathons during the Autumn months. It seems reading these campfire tales engage my imagination more than the usual popcorn flick that does jump scares. However, just like films that produce Troll 2 and Good Will horror flicks, Creepypastas are no strangers to this either. Now, gaming CPs are still notorious for producing crappypastas despite the quality today being in a much better position. The Godzilla NES 2 and Friday the 13th NES horror tales are the recent stories to continue the quality standard. While those written using Mario games continue down a hellish path of terrible plots that could test one’s patience. Now, I hate bringing bad news but an actual MaRIo III was published a couple of years ago. You heard that right as the sequel that wasn’t needed has become a reality. The sad thing is when I wrote that last part in the double review of the first two stories it was a joke based on no cliffhanger. However, now that there is an actual MaRIo III, you know this isn’t going to lead to good storytelling. The Trilogy is the Sonic.EXE of creepypastas based on how poorly both series' first two plots were written. Even though Pokémon and My Little Pony have their own EXE CPs, they weren’t as terrible as these two series. The question is how there exists a third arc when the second ended with no cliffhanger. You’ll be surprised what some will do as an excuse to make an unnecessary sequel. A perfect example comes from the infamous film Troll 2 which not only had nothing to do with the first movie but used that as an excuse. Can the third MaRIo redeem itself by being a decent tale? Or follow the Troll 2 formula without the “it’s so bad it’s good” shtick? MaRIo III Creepypasta Review
