Xia Da has plans to return to the Song of the Long March once she finishes Song of The Sky Walkers. This is great news if this is true. I was seriously worried that Chinese's shitty policy towards Uyghur is a problem here, but apparently fortunately it is not.

When she goes back to Song of the Long March, I will re-read the whole story and start reading the new chapters, it is highly possible, this blog will get more alive.

Meanwhile I am seriously considering reading Song of The Sky Walkers

The Long Ballad

I have watched 12 episodes. Well, it reminded me why this story is good. Li Changge is resourceful and intelligent, so her character works really well in an adventurous, political story. With a character like her, the plot is bound to move forward, because if she is not making up a plan, she is in the middle of executing a plan. This of course also means she has agency which makes her more interesting.

The only thing I am not enjoying is Li Leyan’s plot line. She is a typical sweet princess who is now kidnapped. I am afraid any kidnapping plot lines have been ruined for me for a long time.

Also I see no point for Li Leyan’s kidnapping plot line, she served her purpose at the beginning of the story by adding to Changge’s drama, but as a character on her own she is simply not interesting.

sometimes your favorite song is by the idol group you see every time you go to tokyo but they haven't released it to streaming and they're quite obscure (not to mention taping performances is extremely NG in jpop idol culture) so the only time you have a chance of hearing it is when you go watch them perform and it's like not even guaranteed that it'll be on the setlist every time and then you find out it's actually by a disbanded sister group of theirs and they also didn't release it to streaming but they did put it on youtube in a 20 minute long video that features their entire first mini-album except for some reason it's the absolute worst quality vocals you've ever heard on a professional recording as in not the mic quality but the actual singing quality as in it sounds like a group of friends doing karaoke not even professional singers just some friends with no retakes no autotune touchups not even re-recording the lines that are off rhythm but it still means you kinda get to hear the song in your apartment. but is it even really the same song as the one you hear when your favorite member gets the solo in the chorus and walks from the back of the stage out towards the audience between the rest of the members as if parting the sea. is it

Hello, for the set list in the festivals which songs do you think Louis will sing and do you think he will also play 505 or a one direction song?

I don't knowwwww!!! Fun to imagine! But I will say Louis tends more towards keeping the sets the same then different: the question is whether he's regarding this run of shows as a whole new tour or, more likely, an additional leg of FITFWT. My guess is we won't get whole new cover songs, but WHO KNOWS?! And that yes, he will play 1D songs. HOWEVER, WILL HE ADD IN LT3 songs at any point, MAYBE SO???👀 Like just one at some point, then maybe another later???
