Curiosity Didn't Kill the Cat, but We're Not So Sure She's Coming Back

Imagine you were on your way home from work. It's been a rough day. Maybe your boss was ranting about some nonsense that'd only make sense to close-minded people. Maybe you have that annoying coworker that got on your last nerve, and you have to cover for them like always. Or maybe you're just not that fond of your job to begin with, regardless of the likeability of your peers and superiors.

Or maybe you quite like your job, but a break would be nice. Anyways.

Imagine making your way back to the solace that is your home, be it messy, or very clean, and everything in between.

Then you turn a corner to hear this.

??: "E-excuse me. Um, I just need to g-get by… please?"

CRUNCH.

There goes another car.

??: "Oops…"

It was evening, the last leg of rush hour. Typically in this part of the Sciliva region, let alone in most places of the world, one wouldn't expect the appearance of a twenty-something foot tall Twileon trying to make her way down a busy street barely wide enough to accommodate her. One may not also expect, upon beholding the above scenario, for the giantess to successfully do such a thing without some sort of accident or some element of chaos to otherwise ensue; in which one would absolutely be correct.

While such accidents have been limited to the destruction of property for the moment, her appearance alone soon attracted a crowd. Reactions ranged from disbelief on part of her being some sort of hybrid or mutant Pokemon, to displeasure from her blocking traffic, and everything in between. Some even took to recording the event with cameras, or reporting on it. Some yelled at her directly.

Speaking of yelling, she heard a lot more of it right then, regarding that smashed automobile. When she spoke again, she sounded even more hushed and timid.

Ahaha! You have quite the eye. They are indeed meant to mimic mortal’s tattoos, but since this form is only a mere projection, I can do things like this. Jasper closes his eyes for a few seconds.

Pokémon! Shapeshifter! Reader x Sagau Genshin impact Characters

(Archons (ft, Tsaritsa) Harbingers, Traveller, Paimon, Dainsleif, Diluc, Kaeya, Wanderer, and Albedo)

Summary: Solgaleo! Reader takes them on a Field trip!(through the magic school bu-bonk!*)

[name] yawned in her Solgaleo form, laying in the winter snow of Snezhnaya while basking in the gentle cold while Albedo was drawing comfortably while watching his divine creator taking a small nap.

Meanwhile Dottore was actually doing something while his grace was asleep, with their permission of course! What man could he be if he didn’t?!

Dottore touched the Solgaleo’s mane and fur, feeling like he was in the presence of a warm sunny day in spring season.

His grace was the literal embodiment of the sun, he could see that! The stars and sky might be fake but this was a divine revelation that the creator was in fact the sun themselves!

As his hand dipped further into the mane he could feel a glare from Ei, he scoffed before touching the yellow metal crests that were on the creator’s face, cool to the touch.

Capitano and Pierro were locked in a glaring match with Venti and Zhongli while Wanderer was feeling a bit bashful as the creator nuzzled their face into his stomach thus his entire being falling into the snow and making Childe wheeze.

The wanderer glared and solgaleo’s tail swooped down at Childe’s legs, causing him to fall backwards with an ‘oof!’, the wanderer was now smirking smugly like he just found out his new privilege.

Lumine was admiring her creator’s sleeping form while Paimon was hovering around the creator looking in awe before taking a nap on top, lured in by the warmth of the sun.

Pantalone was humming to himself and looking at the fur with possibilities in his head, the pale fur from their creator would certainly catch many eyes and profits.

Arlecchino was alongside Columbina, brushing the soft fur while Sandrone was taking inspiration for new machines.

Pulcinella played with the fur and admired its soft and silky appeal and texture.

Nahida meanwhile was trying to calm the situation down between the gods and harbingers and more harbingers began to notice and the gods starting to put the blame on the Tsaritsa. Diluc joined in and he was not ready to give up his grace to the Fatui, Kaeya was all relaxing near Albedo, watching with interest.

The tsaritsa was pissed to say the least.

“First you come into my lands without permission and after centuries, you have the audacity to disregard me so you can take up the creator’s already limited time? I’ll have you know-!?” Said the Tsaritsa as the other gods began to glare at her and the harbingers glaring back ready to fight while Childe was grinning while holding his blades and the wanderer and Albedo looking unamused but annoyed and nahida looking stressed out before-

Everyone looked to see that it was Dainsleif who broke the branch and he seemed unbothered but on the inside he was having a mental crisis.

The creator opened their eyes and yawned, a purr mixed with a drowsy roar was evident as their paws sunk into the snow as their eyes now turned into the default narrow eyes of the pokèmon, looking like they were not happy about being woken up early.

Everyone held their breath as the creator approached dainsleif as he went still, some looking eager to see how their dear creator would kill in that form or some legit terrified of the creator’s wrath.

But dainsleif was surprised when he got licked right in the face, causing a part of his blonde hair to stick out.

After seeing that their was no bad blood, [name] sat back down eager to nap again, being in the sun pokèmon form was enough for them to be lax and ready for anything.

As their eyes close they heard Dottore question them.

“Could you perhaps take us to another world, your grace?” Said Dottore.

Ooo now that was a request they are excited to explore- but wait! They must look badass otherwise this would be embarrassing!

The Solgaleo’s eyes opened up instantly and looking at the doctor, before instantly standing on all fours and growl a bit,’get on’.

Dottore grinned as he excitedly grabbed ahold of the face crest and hopped over, the archons and harbingers looked appalled.

Solgaleo turned to them before nodding their head.

After everyone got on, and Childe making Diluc go mad while Kaeya teased tf out of the wanderer making him pissed-

[name] roared loudly, making everyone shudder and shut up, their other color features turned into a pale yellow before leaping up into the air and letting out a large orange blast that tear open a wormhole.

“Hold on, this might be a rough ride.”

“Wait wha-aaaaaaaahhhh!!!!” Said Everyone before going into the wormhole in a speed they didn’t realize was there.

Everyone was holding on tight while the insane like Childe and Dottore were cackling like this was a roller coaster.

“Incredible….” Said Dainsleif, breathless at the sight inside the wormhole, a flurry of colors and other wormholes, different sizes and colors all in weird places.

Then they saw the one where their grace wanted to go to, a large, pristine white wormhole, the Solgaleo roared as they took another leap and past through the wormhole.

There they were amazed by a sight, creatures of all sizes, shapes, colors, and origins were either swimming, flying, running, or even dancing.

But the most important thing was the sky, it was real, the stars glimmered as the moon glowed the reflection of the sun gracefully.

“Our grace is too kind!” Sang Columbina as her lips curved into a graceful smile.

“This world is so beautiful.” Said Nahida as she watched the grass type and normal type Pokémon retiring to their woodland homes for a slumber.

[name] looked proud of themselves before hearing the cries of Lunala! The moon pokèmon flew past the creator and returned and flew around Solgaleo, crying out in a challenge.

“Is that the moon?” Said Paimon as she held onto Lumine.

Everyone looked in awe of the cosmic design and the etherial cries.

“Lunala wants to challenge me to a race, think that I’ll win?”

The smug but funny tone of the creator as they looked back at their subjects, the archons, harbingers, Diluc, Kaeya, dainsleif, and Lumine and Paimon all nodded their heads like this was an easy answer.

“Hold on!”

The creator roared their pale yellow features glowing and Lunala roared back the purple body turning into a blue moon color before they both sped off across the Alola region.

Dottore cackled as Child hooted and laughed as Venti cheered on [name].

They all saw the lights of the cities below the pokémon that roamed they even saw Kyogre swimming by!

Soon enough a yellow, red, pink, and purple flashed by and appeared on both sides of Lunala and Solgaleo.

“The Alola island guardians! I’m surprised that they are joining!”

The creator laughter boomed as they leapt away from Lunala and the guardians before their acolytes were warning them of their approach.

But with one final leap they were already at the Temple of the Sunne, Lunala cried out, seemingly pouty of its loss but grateful for the opportunity to play with its counterpart.

After returning back to Teyvat, the earth welcomed their arrival with flora and gifts, and also Dottore and Albedo fighting over who should do the interviews.

The Archons were also more clingy while the Harbingers were more obsessive.

There’s the occasional Pokémon you know should not exist, from the smell of rotting meat down to the beady stare they give you as you wonder how it’s still alive.

Lymphi should not exist, a pokemon that’s not a shiny but still that stark white color… the smell of meat and decay following along her every step.

It’s said she takes people too soon, but that’s just a rumor.

After all.

Solaris would return to Noel, Aurelio and Dizzy, tears running down his cheeks. As soon as he landed, though, he would fall to his knees. He let out a roar of frustration, a roar that had enough strength to travel across the entire continent.

"Uncle Sol..." Noel would look at the Charizard. She had never seen Solaris in this much pain. She didn't see him after Zane had died, so the reaction she saw was new to her. "What happened?"

"I dropped him... His followers are going to... They'll riot and destroy..." Solaris stammered out. He couldn't form coherent sentences, and his mind raced at a thousand miles a minute. Though from Solaris' broken up words, the others could parse out what he was thinking.

Noel would bring Dizzy and Aurelio into a huddle. "How do we want to handle this? We need to find those other two Zoroark, and we'll need someone to stay in town to calm the people down. And Uncle Sol isn't in the best physical or mental state to do this."

"Well, me and Dizzy can split up to find my brother's zealot friends and take them out." Aurelio would place a claw on his chin. "Though, trying to find them may be like trying to find a needle in a haystack..."

"I may be of assistance here." Isaak's voice echoed in the trio's heads. "I just got a huge influx of souls here. I have to sort which souls go to Yveltal and which ones stay here in the Tree. Since some of the Zoroark zealots passed on, I'll... Interrogate them for information. If you'll give me some time, I can get you their locations."

Noel nodded. "Please do, Isaak." She looked over at Solaris', who was only looking down at the ground while remaining silent. "But make it fast. We don't want any other unnecessary deaths today." Noel would look at Aurelio and Dizzy. "Head back to Alstroemeria, go to Isaak. I'll get Uncle Sol to Avett to get him some help for his arm and injuries."

"You two stay safe. We'll meet you at Avett's once we have more info." Dizzy said, gesturing for Aurelio to follow them back to the city.

Noel watched them run off, then turned around and took a seat next to Solaris. "Hey, Uncle Sol. You doing alright?"

"No..." He mumbled. "I had Jethro in my grasp. I just had to get up to you guys... Then he sucker punched me and I dropped him. Now he's dead... And the continent... My home... Is in danger again... Because of me." The Charizard looked to be on the verge of tears as he spoke.

Noel grabbed and lightly squeezed Solaris' claw. "Hey. Hey. Don't blame yourself. Things are going to turn out okay. We got Aurelio and Dizzy going to find the other zealots, and we'll get some of the others to keep a check on those we locked up."

She brought her head to Solaris', and lightly bumped them together. "Things are going to be fine. I promise. If you're feeling up to it right now, we can head over to Avett. Get your arm back in order and get you to a quiet room to calm your mind." Noel kept her paw on Solaris' claw. "Or, we can sit here for a bit longer until you're ready to move. I'm not going to leave your side until you're feeling better."

The Lucario looked into the Charizard's eyes. Her voice was firm, but her face showed genuine worry, and genuine care for her uncle's well being. When Solaris saw her face, he sighed gently and squeezed Noel's paw in response. "Thanks, kiddo." He went silent for a moment, and chuckled. "It's funny... I'm meant to be the one caring for you... And here we are with the roles reversed..."

Noel smiled, "Please. We're family. I know you have my back, and I have yours. Always."

Solaris smiled back at the Lucario, "Always." He looked back at the horizon, seeing the brilliant orange color, and began standing up. "Let's get going to Avett's. I don't particularly want to be out here in the dark."

"You got it. Hold onto me." Noel pulled her badge out, and held it to the sky. After a moment the two were engulfed in a yellow light and whisked away.

He smiles genuinely, although it can only show in his eyes. It almost looks unnatural on his usually smirky face. Dawn and dusk, you say? That is quite fascinating. His wings flutter a little, You know, I can see some wonderful possibilities in her. Which means you and your partner must be raising her quite wonderfully.

"Ah, in a way you are half correct." Dusk explained, "Many make the same mistake, however twilight, while usually ascribed to sunset, actually encapsulates a bit of both dawn and dusk. It represents the time before sunrise and after sunset."

"It's a bit hard to explain. Only others like us can really understand what it means to embody the changing sky, however by our nature and the laws that rule over us as a species, it would be impossible for her to lean more towards one or the other. She embodies both dawn and dusk in equal capacity, and to suggest that she could be swayed one way or another is paradox to our very existence."

USM Rainbow Rocket

So... instead of Destiny update... I've been doing THAT. I rather enjoyed this mini-campaign. Lots of nostalgic music. Except it gets a bit annoying at the end. But I needed the money, so I came in over prepared. Primals, Ultra, Mega, Arceus, and one Toxapex that needs exp gain.

I kind of forgot to pick up DNA Splicers in Aether Paradise before the whole sh*t happened, so... no shiny IV 31 all BW Kyurem. Damn.

But I do have enough to completely screw over these pesky grunts. Mostly shiny too. Sparkle, sparkle!

I do really like what happened with Lillie in USM compared to SM. Not really sure why. I found her a bit annoying in SM, but adorable in USM.

But... um... double battle WITH Lillie? ... Um... As a disclaimer, I take no responsibility for collateral damage caused by a Primal rampage.

Um... this one doesn't have Eruption...

Also, why the hell is Lightlord Necrozma ("Ultra" technically) a Dragon type? Slow as hell Sol/Luna forms, and fragile Lightlord form. BOO. Even Black Kyurem is better, and it has only one one-time-only physical Ice STAB.

But this is getting annoying long. Like... must the game really just throw waves of grunts with exactly one Pokemon? How about instead of 6 grunts with 1 Pokemon each, I face 1 grunt with 6 Pokemon? Saves a LOT of time. Then again, ever since XY, no one EVER has a full team of 6. For some insane reason.

And must I face two grunts standing next to each other ONE at a time instead of just taking both on in a Double Battle?

I have been to events similar to this, but in the mortal realm. Of course I had to go in disguise and whatnot, he chuckles. I believe the last one I attended was in the time period mortals call the renaissance. This is the first time I’ve been to an event for legends and other pokemon specifically.
