[TS2] Soft Outdoor Shadows 2.0

This new version was long overdue.

This mod makes outdoor shadows appear soft, rather than blobby as they do in an unmodded game.

The older version had some issues with overlapping, shadows stretching and weird pink squares. All of these problems have been addressed in this new version.

I recommend using this mod together with RPCLib or Sims2RPC, as they have higher resolution shadow options that look good with this mod, but it’s not necessary.

3 Flavors are available, 2 that don’t overlap but are less soft and one that overlaps but has fully soft shadows.

Top half of the previews are using High quality RPC shadows, bottom half are default resolution shadows.

This setting is my personal favorite, as it adds detail to shadows and the overlapping artifacts are not very noticeable on High res shadows.

This setting has softer shadows, but overlapping artifacts are more pronounced, especially with default resolution shadows.

This setting has overlapping shadows, but they’re fully soft. This is what the original version of the mod looked like (Except it also had stretching and pink squares, which were fixed in this version)
