I have over the last 5 months watched all 15 seasons and the immortality special of the original CSI. I have no plans to watch the reboot anytime soon so I thought I would info dump my thoughts, and if love to know how others feel. I will now present a very very long post with breakdown some quick thoughts on the seasons, more thoughts on most of the characters and a few ships.
Tldr: I really enjoyed CSI as a whole and I'm sad to say goodbye to a formula and some characters I've really grown attached to. ( And If there is a good Nick Stokes written into immortality fic please lmk)
Seasons:
I do think the early seasons the most fun/ light hearted, which feels weird to say when it literally opens with Sara investigating Warrick for negligence. I kinda wish I had blogged along or something so I could be more detailed in my response about them.
Like a lot of shows I think it really hit its stride in the middle seasons. If I had to pick a few seasons to watch it be 5-7. It also helps that I had finally gotten used to the lighting.
I think the 9- 11 stretch is too serious, don't get me wrong there were some bangers but overall not great
12-15 they were better and back to a little more fun, and I think the series kept its footing pretty well in its final innings. It was no golden era and I felt really bad that Catherine got demoted but I really enjoyed it. ( Well ok I really wasn' a gig harbor arc fan)
Immortality was a fine special, although I don't really feel like it stuck the landing. Part of that will probably become obvious when I talk about my character and ship takes but I also just felt the case could have been better. It's the freshest in mind, obviously, so I will say I really loved having Catherine and Grissom back and if anything I felt like it gave good closure for them and to a lesser extent Sara.
Characters( kinda in the order of their exit):
The lab rats: Bobby, Mandy, Archie icons every one of them. There is a world where Wendy, Hodges and Henry get their own sections but I feel like they would appreciate being in this group. Never pushed into too much melodrama their characterization, always great at their jobs. I would love to grab drinks with any of them
The cops: Brass will get his own sections but to summarize my feelings on all the others. They did their job and I love that for them. They almost never overstayed their welcome but they also aren't the reason I'm watching this show. The only two I would want to get drinks with are the should have been lesbian Sofia Curtis ( she almost got her own section but then i got lazy) and the best uniform in the business, the man, the myth, my man officer Mitchell.
Warrick Brown: My smooth talking gambling king. He was definitely missed after his death. While I didn't love his characterization in the greda Arc, I usually really enjoyed his dynamic with the team and his drive to the job. His death was the closest I came to stopping my watching. His skills with kids are underrated ( probably cause Nick and Catherine are so good) and I do have a say on top of all his intelligence and skills at the job he is so handsome. I think he might go a little too hard for me to enjoy getting drinks with him but I would still do it.
Gill Grissom: My second favorite Dr. Bug ( sorry no one can beat Jack Hodgins) he really is the smartest person on the show. You can always feel his passion for science which is lovely. While sometimes out of touch or oblivious he is usually incredibly kind. I liked his tie to the deaf community. You can pull the fact that he is Demi from my cold dead hands. In a lot of the ways he was the heart of the show and it definitely shows when he left. His relationships with Catherine, Warick, Nick and of course Sara were well developed. I would kill to get a drink with him just to listen to him talk science.
Riley Adams: she gets a section as it is rude for me to not mention a character who was in the credits but she's fucking white bread milk toast. Would not bother getting drinks.
Raymond Langston: I love his relationship with Robbins and I think he's incredibly smart. But I just think the show gave him way way too much too quickly. I mean just compare it to the fucking effort Greg put in to reach CSI or that as new CSI 3 there was a long stretch where Nick didn't get his own cases. I appreciated his complex background but he brought with him the Haskell arc which was just too fucking long and serious. I would get a singular glass of wine with him.
Catherine Willows: What a girl boss. And I mean that is all the best and worst ways. I really love her at her best but man some of her lows are just.. no fun. She is absolutely vital to the show's success and 9/10 times she is out there taking no prisoners and careing for her team. Just you know wish she hadn't shown her daughter a dead body or faked a crime scene with a new guy to name some examples. She could drink me under the table no doubt.
Jim Brass: While never my favorite character I always appreciate seeing him on my screen. Competent enough to hang with the scientist and still be a good cop. I appreciated how dedicated he was to his daughter but Just not personally my vibes. I would get a drink with him but uhh maybe make it non alcoholic cause it's unclear if he needs sobriety help.
Julie Finlay: She's sweet and very very good at her job. If she had come earlier on she might be one of my favorites just my top 3 was already filled. She brings a good balance back to the team, and she has a weird level of breaking and respecting the rules that I enjoyed. She very quickly had such a good dynamic with all the returning favs that there are moments I forgot she was so new. She's got big Bi & Poly energy. I know the actress wasn't coming back but I would've paid to see her interact with Grissom. Sad that she died off screen but also kinda glad they didn't end 15 with her completely dead. I would absolutely get drinks with her, probably mimosas despite my dislike for them.
Morgan Brody: eh shes fine. I feel like despite everything she still comes off as naive. I love her relationship with Eklie and Hodges but overall she left something to be desired. Nothing that I super disliked but I do kinda wish some of her screen time went to Sara or someone else.
D.B Russell: he was honestly a breath of fresh air, well until he wasn't. I think I just love Ted Dansion for one but also I felt like Russell was a beautiful balance between caring and professional. It was nice to have a supervisor who was actually kinda good at politics. I love that he actually cares for his kids and loves his wife ( although I was informed by my mother that he is divorced in Cyber). I do kinda wish the kept the bit where he laid on the ground as a body but mostly cause I found it way funnier than it is. I really hated the gig harbor killer arc and I felt like a large reason is it made him too serious. I would get a drink with him, but honestly I'd love to have a full meal with his family
Super Dave: what a lovable but weird dude. Genuinely a great example of how you can blend strange comments with kindness and consistency to create a great character. I would love to grab a drink with him.
Doc Robbins: What an honest man and in the running for the best M.E ( up there with Ducky and Cam). I'm glad he mostly stayed out of the drama and appreciated that he was always thorough, even when people were occasionally questioning his own work. Not kind to a fault but definitely empathetic. I would 100% grab a drink with him.
Now to the top 3, the best of the best, the ones who were in for the long haul.
Nick Stokes: Whether it's the sweet Texas accent and big bown eyes or the fact that he's the longest running main cast member I do think he is my favorite. Empathetic and kind, almost to a fault, he is also a man's man who can hold his own against the worst criminals. The show put him through the absolute fucking ringer but he still leaves with a smile on his face. Even when he clashes with other characters I feel like he resolves the problems better than other people. He definitely could have benefited from good therapy but I still love him anyway. His skills with kids are so nice and grounded in his backstory. Loved that he became the new big guy. Occasionally they try and paint him as a bit of a player but given he sleeps with like 2 women over 15 seasons it doesn't super add up. This is definitely the queer in me talking but he gives huge repressed Gay energy. Like a lot of his early arc is about graining confidence in himself. Not to mention, his relationship with Warrick and Greg are so filled with undertones and honestly let that man get fucked and some of his problems might go away. Anyway. So I guess more power to the actor for not coming back for even a cameo but I really really felt the lack of him in immortality. So If anyone knows a fanfic where he's there lmk I would read that shit in a heartbeat. Would get drinks with him, would die for him.
Greg Sanders: I love rave going lab rat Greg. I love the new CSI trying to prove himself to Greg. I love mob history author Greg. I mean he's got to be one of the most intelligent characters on the show- he's good at science and history- and it never makes him come off as rude or entitled. I think his shift from lab rat to CSI, whether intentional or accidental, is well built. He is criminally oh I mean so so so criminally underutilized in immortality. I dislike when he's angry and there are certainly episodes where he feels off but overall he's just so lovable. Disgusting hair choices but hey at least that was a consistent trait. His relationship with Nick and Sara throughout the whole show are really great and after 15 seasons they really do feel like they've been a team for 15 years. He gives Huge Bi energy so I would take him to a gay club for drinks and dancing.
Sara Sidle: You can call her a problematic fav all you want but she's a bad bitch and everyone should love her. She is so great at her job and she never lacks humanity. The show kinda lost track of her exact backstory at some point but I don't care too too much as she stays strong willed and passionate the whole show. Her will to never quit and iconic smirks will stay winning forever. I have thoughts on her relationship with Grissom but bottom line she knew what she wanted and got it. Her friendship with all the main cast, particularly Greg and Nick, is really lovely and shows how she has grown and changed over 15 seasons. Because I actually care about continuity I would not get an actual alcoholic drink with her but non alcoholic drinks aplenty would be had if I could meet her.
Ships:
Listen I don't have a real finger on the pulse of what ships are popular as this show finished airing 10 years ago and I was trying to not be super spoiled.
That being said
GSR: I'm not super into Grissom/ Sara ( side note I know the Internet was a different place 20 years ago but who picked GSR as their ship tag), but I'm also not against it. I think they have a big "match my freak" energy which is nice but. I don't know I just feel like by the end of it Sara could do better. Like she gave up the lab director for the guy who asked her for a divorce. I still think it's better than some other options just you know not like my otp. 8/10
Catherine/ Warrick: I think that the flirting was all fun and games and then if became too much. Let's be honest neither of them are built for committed relationships. Probably would have been better then whatever the fuck was happening with Warrick and Tina. 5/10
Catherine/ Vartann: its canonical and like they were fine I didn't hate it didn't love it. Probably better for Catherine in the long term than any other of her potential ships 6/10
Nick/ Greg: idk if this is super popular but it's my otp for the show. They seem like they bring out the best in each other. Nicks more clean cut natural could balance out the more chaotic ature of greg. Obviously with the era the show was made in I don't think that there tension was intentional but it's still there. From the name that chemical compound game to working together until the end of really think they would be great. 11/10
Nick/ Warrick: I had to mention for the just two dudes who have homoerotic tension energy but ehh Warrick dose really read straight to me in every other context. 3/10
Wendy/ Hodges: ehh they give straight white couple who should have just talked about their feelings. 4/10
Hodges/ Henry: is this a real ship? idk man, But it's an friends to enemies to lovers I would love to read. 6/10
Morgan/ Greg: ok part of this is the my ship bias( see above) but I did not like them together. Their flirting is not good, his anger at her kidnapping too extreme, idk I Just really feels like they operate in different levels. 0/10
Morgan/ Hodges: I actually thought this was really sweet and was super said they went with the parents dating thing. I think they understood each other on a really fun level and that they brought out the best in each other. I loved how supportive they were of each other even in seemingly poor decisions. 8/10
Finn/ D.B: I would assume that this is the popular het ship for the them but uhh D.B is so happily married and Finn ( much like Warrick and Catherine) doesn't really give monogamous relationship. 0/10
Finn/ Sara: 100% queer women projection but uhh just imagine post divorce Sara figuring out her identity with Finn and they try friends with benefits but then need more. 6/10
If you made it this far thanks so much for reading and id love to hear others thoughts as I do a deep dive into this show. I Will be reading plenty of fanfiction and may start CSI: NY to appease the new hole in my heart.

team graveyard gsr reveal reactions: preface
@camilaar85 asked what exactly might go through the minds of grissom and sara's teammates—including not just the other csis but hodges, wendy, doc robbins, super dave, brass, sofia, and ecklie, too—when they learn the truth of grissom and sara's relationship during the events of episodes 07x24 "living doll" and 08x01 "dead doll."
since tumblr now has this shitty 4096-character limit per post, i've had to break up my response into several parts, which you will be able to find here, once they're all posted.
so i've talked about this issue at more length here, but the way the show treats the team’s reaction to grissom and sara’s “coming out” is, frankly, weird.
for a full season, the writers have their fun playing narrative games involving grissom and sara’s secret relationship—letting the fans in on what’s happening in episode 06x24 “way to go,” long before anyone on team graveyard also learns the truth, and then proceeding to tease the issue for the duration of s7.
from the season premiere on, they repeatedly float the possibility someone at the lab could find out grissom and sara are together, sometimes to comedic effect (such as when ecklie scares grissom and sara half to death with his “too close to home” insinuations in episode 07x01 “built to kill” pt. i) and other times much more dramatically (such as when the events of episode 07x13 “redrum” put sara on edge about how her teammates might react once they eventually learn of her and grissom’s grand deception).
here and there, they pepper in clues as to how various members on team graveyard might potentially respond when finally everything comes to light, hinting not everyone will likely be accepting either of the relationship itself OR of how grissom and sara have chosen to go about conducting it—having, for example, warrick ominously warn sara he hates being lied to (see episode 07x13 “redrum”) and nick express incredulity relationships between coworkers can ever thrive (see episode 07x22 “leapin’ lizards”).
this protracted writerly game of “will or won’t the other characters figure out the gsr secret?” finally comes to a head in episode 07x24 “living doll,” when after sara is abducted by the miniature killer, grissom blurts out to the team she is the “only person [he] ever loved,” at long last opening the door for them to have the same information the audience has already known about for the last twenty-four episodes.
but for all of the narrative build-up to this occasion, the strange thing is how much of a non-occasion it ultimately turns out to be.
after twenty-four episodes of teasing, with countless close calls and run-ins, heaps of foregrounding, and heaps more of innuendo, we are treated to a grand total of nine seconds’ worth of wordless immediate reaction from the team to grissom’s revelation in episode 07x24 “living doll,” then a single benign “what did you know about them?” conversation between nick and greg and some administrative probing from ecklie in episode 08x02 “a la cart,” and, thereafter, the issue of grissom and sara having kept their relationship a secret from their friends is never spoken of in-universe again.
while of course it is reasonable team graveyard wouldn’t put a pause on their investigative efforts to find sara during the events of episode 07x24 “living doll” in order to have some kind of formal conversation regarding the news of grissom and sara’s relationship the moment grissom makes his declaration, the fact they never seem to have any kind of conversation—either formal or otherwise—about the news subsequently, even after sara is safe and sound, is, honestly, a bit unbelievable.
are we really to understand all the more discussion which ever takes place surrounding this issue is just some lighthearted “hey, did you have any idea this relationship was going on before grissom told everyone about it? no? well, shucks! me, neither” breeze-shooting between nick and greg (and four and a half months after the fact, to boot)? shouldn’t gossip of this magnitude be more of a talking point around the lab? and shouldn’t we get to see more of that talking happen on-screen, for all it was foregrounded throughout s7?
that we never get to see/hear the team really respond to the relationship or the deception either amongst themselves or to grissom and/or sara after the big reveal is weird, and what’s weirder still is no one on the team is shown to have any kind of personal reaction to learning about either thing.
no one’s relationship with grissom and/or sara seems to change at all after they “come out.”
emphasis on at all.
for all of the show’s previous hinting various team members might have complicated feelings about being lied to or even just having two coworkers dating each other contrary to departmental policy, none of that foregrounding amounts to anything, as no one on the team has any measurable reaction to the news of grissom and sara’s relationship whatsoever.
no one really seems all that happy for them.
no one really seems all that put off by them.
they’re all just completely neutral.
i mean, they barely even acknowledge what by all accounts should be a truly massive revelation to them.
of course, some of this weird nonreaction on the part of the team could in theory be attributable to the four and a half-month in-universe time jump between the events of episodes 08x01 “dead doll” and 08x02 “a la cart.”
like.
maybe we could chalk up everyone’s nonchalance to the passage of time within the universe of the show—assuming people do have their reactions, only we just don’t get to see them happen on-screen, because presumably they take place during the off-screen interval between sara’s rescue and her return to work.
but the thing is, if such reactions do happen off-screen, then there is absolutely no fucking trace of them ever having happened once the events of episode 08x02 “a la cart” transpire, to the point where, functionally, they may as well never have taken place at all, insofar as we as the audience are concerned.
for all intents and purposes, there is no “new normal.”
the boys have not developed a habit of teasing sara about being in a relationship with the bug man. hodges isn’t constantly trying to pry into grissom’s love life. brass never rolls his eyes after catching grissom and sara giving moony looks to each other in the hall. even when the issue of graveyard shift being shorthanded without sara comes up, catherine never once says anything, either smug or conciliatory, about the consequences of “fishing off the company pier.”
the show outright refuses to acknowledge anyone’s feelings about grissom and sara might have changed, either for better or for worse, in the wake of them “coming out” and starting to live openly as a couple. there is just a total dearth of in-text response to this sea change.
—all of which is to say:
in attempting to answer your question, i have to operate in a strange space between what we actually see in canon—which is across the board neutral acceptance—vs. what i think we should have seen in canon, given the characters’ internal values, relationships with grissom and sara (both individually and as a couple), feelings regarding deception, relative faithfulness or unfaithfulness to departmental rules, etc.
next up, some actual analysis in part i.

Box Office: ‘Civil War’ Starts Off With Impressive $2.9M in Thursday Previews
Alex Garland's controversial movie about the political divide in America easily scored the best preview number ever for A24.
BY PAMELA MCCLINTOCK
APRIL 12, 2024 9:18A
Alex Garland‘s dystopian action movie Civil War has started off its North American box office run with an impressive $2.9 million, a record for indie studio and distributor A24.
The $50 million movie about a divided America is a big swing for A24 as it tries to produce bigger movies, and is its most expensive production to date.
Civil War is tracking to open north of $20 million, although one leading tracking service has a slightly lower range of $19 million to $20 million. As with the preview number, that would be record for A24, beating the $13.6 million opening of A24’s horror pic Hereditary in 2018.
A24 and writer-director Garland held the movie’s world premiere last month at the South by Southwest Film and TV Festival, an ideal venue since many of the attendees are younger adults, the film’s target demo.
Set in the near-future, the story follows a wartime photojournalist (Kirsten Dunst) and her colleagues as they make their way across a hostile and divided United States of America that has been torn apart under the authoritarian rule of a three-term president (Nick Offerman). Yet the film shys away from red state/blue state divisions, and the politics behind the conflict are generally left unexplained, other than to say that one of the president’s first first actions was to disband the FBI in an apparent nod to former President Donald Trump, who has called to “defund” the Bureau.
Civil War‘s timing surely isn’t a coincidence as it hits cinemas amid a contentious election year in which President Biden and former President Trump are once again the leading candidates for their respective parties as Trump seeks to return to the White House
At a SXSW panel following the film’s premiere, Garland said it made sense to release Civil War now, although it’s not as if there is anything new about the contentious political discourse gripping the country.
“I think all of the topics in in [Civil War] have been a part of a huge public debate for years and years. These debates have been growing and growing in volume and awareness, but none of that is secret or unknown to almost anybody,” Garland said. “I thought that everybody understands these terms and, at that point, I just felt compelled to write about it.”
Cailee Spaeny, Jesse Plemons and Wagner Moura also star.
2012–2013: Founding and early years
A24 was founded on August 20, 2012, by film veterans Daniel Katz, David Fenkel, and John Hodges. Katz formerly led the film finance group at Guggenheim Partners, Fenkel was the president, co-founder and partner at Oscilloscope, and Hodges served as "Head of Production and Development" at Big Beach. The name "A24" was inspired by the Italian A24 motorway Katz was driving on when he decided to found the company.
Guggenheim Partners provided the seed money for A24. The company was started to share "movies from a distinctive point of view". In October 2012, Nicolette Aizenberg joined as head of publicity from 42West where she was senior publicity executive.
The company began its distribution of films in 2013. The company's first theatrical release was Roman Coppola's A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III, which had a limited theatrical release. Other 2013 theatrical releases included Sofia Coppola's The Bling Ring, Harmony Korine's Spring Breakers, James Ponsoldt's The Spectacular Now, and Sally Potter's Ginger & Rosa.
In September 2013, A24 entered a $40 million deal with DirecTV Cinema, where DirecTV Cinema would offer day-and-date releases 30 days prior to a theatrical release by A24; Enemy was the first film to be distributed under the deal. That same year, A24 entered a deal with Amazon Prime, where A24-distributed films would be available on Amazon Instant Video after becoming available on Blu-ray and DVD.
2014–2017: Television and later productions
In May 2015, A24 announced that it would start a television division and began producing the USA Network series Playing House, as well as working to develop a television series that would later become Comrade Detective, produced by Channing Tatum. The company also announced that they would also finance and develop pilots.
In January 2016, Sasha Lloyd joined the company to handle all film, television distribution and business development in the international marketplace. The company, with cooperation from Bank of America, J.P. Morgan & Co. and SunTrust Banks, also raised its line of credit from $50 million to $125 million a month later to build upon its operations. In April, the company acquired all foreign rights to Swiss Army Man, distributing the film in all territories, and partnering with distributors who previously acquired rights to the film, a first for the company. In June, the company, along with Oscilloscope and distributor Honora, joined BitTorrent Now to distribute the work of their portfolio across the ad-supported service.

hello again! can you imagine if they gave us the female friendships we deserved 😭 like sofia/sara/catherine would have ruled 😭 instead we got that awkward sofia/sara rivalry over grissom (which was also quickly shoved aside and forgotten forever??) what were the writers even thinking
anyway, my favourite characters are grissom (I see so much of myself in grissom - both good and bad traits) and sara (she's so sweet amd smart) but I like everyone, really.
I'm doing something really unhinged - which is I jumped to immortality (which i felt was kinda weird for a series finale, but i digressk) and then started Vegas s1 (although I must admit, I'm not really liking - i hope it gets more interesting). perhaps after I'm done with this, I'll go back to s9 or just jump to s11 like you suggested - maybe a fresh cast is what I need. although I don't want to lose willows too :/
I would have just about killed for a girls gone wild (oh yeah you'll have to watch season 14 and 15 just for these two episodes. All three of the girls go on a girls weekend, x2, and things happen) style episode with the three of them. Literally would have given anything for them to hang out together, they are my girlsssss.
Okay this is interesting! I always think I hate grissom when I haven't watched the show for a while but really I just hate GSR, I don't think it feels like a natural dynamic at all but that's a whole other can of worms. So we get Sara back (season 10 properly iirc) but we don't really see grissom again until imm. But I maintain that we got better content of the girls in the later seasons because it wasn't the 00s anymore and female rivalry was SLOWLY going out of trend.
Immortality was 100000% built for the GSR shippers (aka NOT me) but I was glad to see heather and cat back of course. Vegas is... not the best. I have only watched it once through, and I only admittedly started it when season 2 was airing because I saw they were bringing cat and lindsay back and the concept intrigued me, but they fucked it up big time imo. But also I'm like... just really gay for catherine so it was nice to get to just see her again regardless of things I did or did not like about various other plot lines.
Cat's leaving arc is SAD but also is probably my favourite character exit. I feel like they gave her the respect she deserved after spending so long on the show. There are many other unrelated to the plot reasons that I really really like that season and it will always be special to me personally. But I do also think that Russell and Finn both get really epic character intros.
Season 10 has, arguably my least fave character (apart from hodges) from the whole series so it's probably the one I have watched the least out of all the seasons. But I think 9-11 are worth watching at least once. Actually this rewatch I found some episodes in season 11 that I liked quite a lot as stand alones. But the overall arc of those seasons are not super enjoyable for me personally.
#asked and answered#rambles#like this really is just a ramble#CSI brain rot at it's prime#I've watched this show an embarrassing number of times to be honest#in terms of sheer number of hours it's probably my most watched show#in terms of actual rewatches it's not because I've watched BOP through more times but that show is SHORT#anyway I have very strong opinions on SOME things to do with this show and.... i feel like it's searingly obvious but yeah

Some random considerations while rewatching CSI:
My sister and I used to call Grissom Grissoma [with an heavy portuguese accent]. The thought still makes me smile. 😊
Sara might not have the smoothest attitude overall, but she was rude once to both Willows and Ecklie and they were already out for her head - yet, no one except for Grissom and later Greg even dared to ask her why, or at least if there was something going on. Geez...
I mostly remember Ecklie as Morgan's dad in later seasons. Forgot he used to be a major ass.
I really miss wacked kid Greg from early seaons. I'm all for character's growth, don't get me wrong, and he certainly matured along with his age and new responsabilities, but... There was this episode where he was left particularly shaken by the surviving burned woman and Sofia Curtis said something along the lines: "I've heard you used to be pretty funny. Don't lose that." Can't help but to feel the horrors of the job eventually won him over.
Just for once, it would be nice to see a working divorced-later-widowed mother raising a teenage daughter who does not act out because mom doesn't spend enough time at home. Sometimes, teenage girls just understand someone has to keep the family afloat.
I still can't believe we're going to loose Warrick like that. 😟
Nick is there. Nick is always there.
I love Jim Brass, I really do. That's a man who really honors his badge and always stays inside the right lines of his job. Not sure why they always have to be revealed as cheaters, though. Ellie might have had her reasons to accuse him of being a bad father, but he never gave up on her, ever. Knowing how their arc will eventually end actually breaks my heart.
Turns out Hodges has always been a pain in the ass.
I knew about Cam Tucker and Carole Hudson before, but what is Marshall Ericksen doing at the lab??! 🤣🤣
Oh look, it's that cop who will (much) later be revealed to be dirty... 😟 Stokes always tries to learn some more Spanish around him.
Doc Robbins is da bomb. 😎

Would anyone want a conncetion with pedro pascal?
Hello there!
Oh my gosh, yes -- we would love to see Pedro Pascal on our dash, he'd be so much fun to see in the group. Some wanted connections that I could see him fitting are:
Mateo Fuentes / Oscar Isaac -- ex-partner.
Spencer Lawrence / Daniel Henney -- ex-partner.
Amina Zaidi / Sofia Boutella -- ex-spouse.
Darrius Powell / Aldis Hodge -- mentor.
pretty much any of our open career connections!
Aleja Alverez / Gina Torres -- previous sperm donor.
Chetan Gupta / Dev Patel -- D&D party members.
If there are any other connections (listed or unlisted!) that anyone could see filled, please feel free to chime in! But I can promise that Pedro would be super loved here, I hope you'll join us! xx

Hi AJ -
Hope you’re doing well! Just wondering if you know when you may be able to post the next installment in the Accidents series?
I know you’re a busy person but I’ve been thinking about it for a while & didn’t want to bug you asking…so now I’m going to bug you asking because it’s bugging me not asking 🙃
Thanks : )
hey, @chelsshearman!
great to hear from you again! i hope you're doing well, too. ❤
so i feel really, really bad that i can't give you a real answer to your question, except to say, "it'll be a while."
at the moment, i'm still neck-deep in working on siyibi, so i haven't even touched the accidentsverse in the last few months. suffice it to say, it'll be a hot minute before i get back to it.
in the meantime, i've placed a couple of super vague accidentsverse spoilers after the "keep reading" in the hopes that they might give you something to puzzle over while you're waiting.
sorry i can't offer anything more concrete than them!
as always, thank you for your continued interest in the series and for taking the time to check in! i really do appreciate it.
__
the baby's first and middle names have been said in canon on the show before, though not necessarily in conjunction with each other or in the same season.
out of all of the minor characters on the show at the time when the accidentsverse is taking place—hodges, wendy, henry, archie, mandy, bobby, doc robbins, super dave, ecklie, sofia, and brass—one finds out about sara's pregnancy accidentally and the rest are told by directly by grissom and/or sara.

My reaction to Shalim's unfortunate death
Before we continue, i will apparently let you all know that i'm going to announce some serious news that i'm going to report. Those serious news are unfortunately going to involve some sad news, cause those sad news is that the Uncork'd Industries are about to shut down... forever.
Lex Luthor
What's up guys? That's me, Sean Allison. And that here is my friendly bestie, Dave Matson.
Today, we're going to do something different than normal, cause we're going to view a compilation of some E-gamers that are reacting to Shalim's unfortunate death.
It are exactly why we're going to have a look at how these E-gamers are reacting to Shalim's unforunate death.
Oh yea~~~! You guys wanna crush this compilation! So today, let's give it a watch!!
You know, guys. You do remember that, after the departure of Cedric Narce and his superfriends, Shalim had UNFORTUNATELY DIED at the end of "January Robinson Uncork'd"?!?!
If you don't know, then go watch!
At that case, we're going to watch a compilation video which are using that same compilation of "NO"s from "My reaction to Dave Matson leaving YouTube forever" (which was sadly removed from YouTube) (despite that Dave Matson had shut down his old YouTube channel in April 2014 due to Microsoft ending the support of Windows XP.)
Yes! I'll agree that! Today we are looking at some of the E-gamers' reaction to it!
Well, by the way, you guys had really CRUSHED the analytics on this compilation!!!
Because i made a POL to ask you guys, and you guys want so much more!!!
Now indeed, tonight, we're about to gather here to say goodbye to the most beloved genie Shalim. He had been well-known of bringing to life an magical Bhuta guardian and an famous Ultra Guardian, but for now, he is now dead, cause he's gone forever, so for now, we will forever may the force be with him... forever.
So, here it is!!! This is a compilation of E-gamers reacting to Shalim's unfortunate death.
I hope you all enjoy it! Here we go!
youtube
Para PWV (a.k.a. ParaWarnerViacom): Para is the most emotional one i think.
KC Carlson (a.k.a. Kenny Clark): KC is both sad and angry with that!
DJ Launchpad and Skyler Hawkins: DJ Launchpad and Skyler are shocked.
Alex Chapman (a.k.a. AI Chappers): He is like sad and crying tho.

Kolya CR Lezter (a.k.a. Cole Roy Lezter (t.a.k.a. Kolya75Windows)): He is a Ukrainian E-gamer, but you can understand him.
TootyCH Hodges: TootyCH had been awfully so sad and depressed about Shalim's unforunate death. Well eventually, after Shalim's unfortunate death, TootyCH were unfortunately crying so sad and ironic.
Stella Markýe (a.k.a. Miss M (t.a.s.a. Miss Matson)): Stella are apparently so concerned about Shalim's unfortunate death. Well obviously, after Shalim's unforunate death, Stella were casually worried, cause she states that Shalim is dead and gone forever.

Sofia Cingular: "Thanks for this bub. RIP Shalim. Thanks for everything. Well always may the force be forever with you."
Sarah Cingular: "It's so sad that he's gone. He truly was a big part of our childhoods. But at least he had sacrificed himself."
Brendan Cingular: "You left too soon, Shalim. You're now dead, cause Cedric needs your guidance."
TommyJH Hodges: "Cedric Narce had been a big fan of Shalim, cause i want to say that Shalim was a good genie and he had the most amazing troublemaker-slaying powers that i've ever experienced. When he were famous of defeating a lot of troublemakers, i always knew there was good on him like Sharim Narce. And when he slayed a lot of devils and wicked beings, Cedric Narce were loving it most of all, cause he was so wise and great. This tribute must remain in the archives forever. So R.I.P. Shalim 🙏"
TillyKH Hodges: *Tootsie gives her boyfriend Simeon Thompson a real soft tissue and blowing his nose.*
TootsieSH Hodges: "RIP, Shalim"

Sophie Franco: "We're gonna miss him! Also i always wanted to use SSB soundboards quotes! I used one of those SSB soundboard quotes in one of those episodes of "January Robinson Uncork'd"."
Connor Morrison: "Farewell, Shalim. You'd been an beloved guardian and genie, cause your troublemaker-exterminating powers and responsibilities will always be grateful. Well although, you look just like Cedric Narce and Satoshi Akari, you're now sadly gone forever, cause now that you've died far-away above heaven, i'll never forget you (😢🥺😭)"
Sean Mucapart: *Sean gives his girlfriend Irene Buglehall a soft tissue and blowing his nose.*
Duncan Mucapart: *Duncan Mucapart is staying at home in his apartment and started crying.*
Scar McIntyre: *Scar gives his girlfriend Olivia Buglehall a real soft tissue and blowing his nose.*
R.I.P. Shalim
He had ironically sacrificed himself beyond the stars, cause he's now dead. He will now permanently be missed... ...forever.
