V is a GUN agent who works mostly in reconnaissance and forensics, and has studied a wide variety of disciplines in an attempt to learn to cure a heriditary illness he and his family all have. He has a flat affect, making it seem like he's always angry or annoyed, and he tries to avoid getting too invested in the people around him, but he can be incredibly loyal to anyone who takes time to get to know him. He's immortal and doesn't know it, which leads to very funny situations where he gets back up from things that definitely should've killed him and is furious about it.

Byte is a programmer and mechanic who used to work for the Eggman Empire as a lead programmer and performing maintenance in the Badniks, nevertheless when they met Starline they got so fascinated for the platypus that they went after him once Eggman firing him, offering Starline their services as a software engineer.

He accepted and gave them the role of his personal assistant since he knew their capabilities due to the time they worked together in the Empire. He was kind of wary of Byte’s chaotic tendencies, but soon a great idea came to his mind; What a better way to understand the chaotic world he’s trying to control than having the chaos by his side?

Since then, Byte has been the chaotic and eccentric right-hand of the platypus, helping him in all of his tasks and missions to achieve his plan; Conquer the world for Dr. Eggman.

Byte is very playful, and mischievous, they like to play pranks on everyone, cause problems and chaos here and there and always manipulates the situation to get out of troubles without consequences. They're cheerful and very energetic, very eccentric and passionate, they're very dedicated to their interests and will do their best in completing their tasks. They also encourage others to cause troubles too.

They're determined, responsible and showing their full potential whenever the situation requires so, they're a good observer and knows how to analyze everything. They're very reliable when it comes to problem solving.

Mandy The Hedgehog (15)

Her backstory in a little more detail: Mandy is a young mechanic shopkeeper. She mostly kept to herself until one day, when she was looking for spare metal parts at her local junk yard, she came across a chaos emerald. She had never seen anything such a strange jewel, so she took it with her.

After returning to her shop, she tried to examine the jewel but with no success. Suddenly, Eggman showed up at her door, demanding she hand over the emerald or he'll destroy her shop.

Lucky for her, another blue hedgehog appeared, and saved her and her shop. After discussing the emerald and sonic learning of Mandy's life work he introduced her to tails. Mandy swore to fight along side Sonic and Tails in defending the world against Eggman.

They quickly formed and everlasting friendship.

Answering w a screenshot seems to be the way we’re doing these so here’s my answer for the @sonic-oc-showdown​ ask:

V is a riftclaw, which is a fictional species I made up-- a weird kinda shapeshifting dinosaur people that evolved in the spaces outside reality and use their claws to dig their way in and out of universes. Since he is one he gets the default riftclaw powers, which is being able to shapeshift (although his mass must always remain the same), being able to dimension jump w just a claw, having an extra spatial sense that picks up on dimensional energy that’s used to navigate in the lightless void, and for his clan in particular, the ability to sleep while still shapeshifted (for most riftclaws, losing consciousness means shifting back to Full Lizard).

Bonus fun fact: riftclaws can turn their shed skins into shapeshifting clothing, so most of V’s leather-looking gear is in fact made of his skin. Bc being able to readjust it on the fly makes it a lot easier for him to blend in with a crowd.

His individual powers are a basic boost to physical strength (he’s above-average in the power class, along with 1000s of mobians) and a super-powered healing ability that was given to him as a mutation. The healing ability can repair pretty much anything, even lethal damage-- but he also doesn’t know it exists, so he just thinks he’s supernaturally lucky.

Between these abilities though V is someone who avoids hand-to-hand fighting at all costs, and goes for stealth and quick disabling if he’s forced into it. He’s good at knife throwing (although his blades have to be weighted a certain way to compensate for his physical strength), uses tranq darts whenever he can get away with it, and uses conventional firearms to keep people from closing the distance. Sometimes he hits people with his motorcycle, which is totally a bludgeoning weapon.

His proper role at GUN is more espionage focused, since his ability to get in somewhere wearing a totally different face, steal things away without leaving much evidence, and just vanish into a crowd is too valuable for them to not take advantage of.

Ruby:

Ruby is a wolfdog cursed with a beastly form after they, along with their parents, were used to test the effects of Dark Gaia Energy on the mobian body and mind. Though their parents did not survive, they managed to escape and now live with a family of cats who've taken them in as one of their own. She has incredible strength and stamina, heightened senses of smell and hearing, and a sensitivity to Dark Gaia Energy in her environment. She can also take on a form resembling that of a Nightmare (and enemy from Sonic Unleashed) when put under extreme stress.

They are quiet and tend to keep to themselves, but are extremely loyal to those who manage to get close. Despite their appearance, they are empathetic and compassionate to a fault and don't like to take much space. They enjoy spending time in nature, frequenting their local Chao Garden, or working on crafts such as hand-made stuffed toys.

Matilda:

Funny ant who became a real girl through the power of love and SO many chaos drives. She was once Shadow's pet ant who he rescued from being eaten by Knuckles. After being fed chaos drives, Matilda suddenly formed a chao-like chrysalis and mutated into a Mobian. She now is the youngest member of Team Dark, basically a little sister to all of them. Her main goal now is to train enough to become as strong as she can to one day beat the shit out of Knuckles as petty revenge.

Deirdre is a stoic and aloof deer who takes her family's old noble history with the utmost importance. Even if none of her ancestor's power or position matter in the modern era, she still is most comfortable trying to act out the part of a knight errant. Her stoicism and intensity is mostly cover for the fact she has very little social skills and can be an awkward goober when it comes to things outside of experience. She has been fighting for the Restoration since it was the Resistance, though she constantly doubts how helpful her axe-based skill set is in "Restoring" things.

She enjoys the sophistication and excitement of cities, though she's terribly unfamiliar with them. She also has an intense love of cocoa and is very particular about using the best quality ingredients when serving others.

Mandy is a friendly intelligent mechanic who is passionate about her work and her friends. After accidentally finding a Chaos emerald, Eggman tries to steal it from her but sonic got there on time to help (thats how they first meet). She's loyal though sometimes gets mad when her friends breaks her things. She owns a repair shop and likes to steal broken parts from Eggmans badniks and use them for her own robots.
