My party members! They love me! They have their own agendas and alliances!)#so of course a healthy portion of this AU is dedicated to them <3#the Int skills go basically unchanged from DE. Psy as well (with changes to a few quirks in voice).#Fys skills though...well...wwx is in a different body! Those voices belong to Someone Else.#Esp electrochem (MXY in this AU also partied to near death. WWX is withdrawing and craving substances he's never even heard of before)#While I personally don't fully subscribe to Volition Jean I *do* see Volition Jiang Cheng. The voice of your Not Brother keeping you afloat#All three of these parallels make me unbelievably sad. They are also both purple. Art is like that sometimes.#Empathy Jiang Yanli...oh man do I have a lot of thoughts about her. Disco fans Who Know....you can probably see what I'm cooking.#Authority is a really interesting skill in DE because *yes* its about power and intimidation - but it's also about finesse and respect#Titus Hardie and YZY both abuse *and* finesse how they establish their authority - in a way that leaves quite an impression.#2 more mdzs disco posts that I *need* to create and then I'm off to working on raffles <3

I love when trainers acknowledge that different breeds have different needs irt training approach and reinforcement but it means very little to me overall when they exclusively own border collies.
#YES im glad they Get It#but its one thing to Get It and another thing to live with it#this is from a popular dog trainer who put out a :) foundations to training is the same regardless of breed :) video#:) look at these unusual breeds doing things :)#and yes its true!!!!#but it means very little because those dogs were trained by their respective handlers and not through that trainer#(they did a call out on socials to ask for footage so i know that)#anyway theres no point to this#training a border collie definitely takes finesse! (in a way i dont have!)#but training a sighthound or a basset or a pointer or a malamute is a different game#and i hate that this trainer is boiling down to :) foundations are the same :)#because theyre right but theres more to it than that#own a non-herding breed for once please im begging you#(im just being mean about it#they do seem to do good training)

Can we have a season of bake off where all the bakers are over the age of 50? Even better if they are in their 70s.
Older generation bake off.
I assure you that I will still faithfully watch every week because there is something so classic about the people who learned how to bake the old fashioned way: Watching their relatives who have baked for decades. With measurements like a pinch and a hint and a smidgeon. Recipes being passed down on the backs of notecards with the ink all smudged away or only through word of mouth alone. Who grew up having to stretch every ingredient. Who didn't have the internet or a lot of recipes/ingredients readily available for a significant portion of their life.
Give me older charming bakers. Give me an entire tent full of Nickys and Keiths and Dawns and Maggies. Bonus points if they have a really salt-of-the-earth life. Bonus bonus points if they have supreme British wit (a la Dame Maggie Smith) that will leave the judges speechless (and subtly insulted). Give me an entire tent full of people who do not give a damn about what Paul and Prue care most about--- presentation and ~finesse~. People whose only goal is to feed the people they care about with the food they create.
Give me a season of ~rustic~ bakers.

but yeah the fact hes literally walking around fine THE NEXT DAY after the 3rd lab fight makes me so insane i start biting. he had his abdomen bandaged and i think he had an iv, but (at least in the anime) no mention of surgery, blood transfusion, physical therapy/rehab, ANYTHINGGGGG!!!! lusts ultimate spear pierced his ENTIRE BODY her fingers were sticking out of his BACK. searing the surface wounds closed surely wouldnt be enough to save him, let alone leave him in as good a condition as he walked away in

i have such a lovehate relationship with ted lasso s3 like how can one half of that season be so ass and the other half be so stellar
#with sunflowers being a very clear dividing line#well its like. 3 meh episodes 2 decent apisodes one nice episode and then just 6 incredible episodes of tv#this season turned me around so completely like in the beginning i was so meh on the idea of ted going back to kansas#and i didnt care for henry at all#and by the end i was completely on board with everything#honestly if they would rewrite the zava storyline and remove shandy's storyline completely (why was she even there???) it wouldve been#a much more solid season#the edwin akufo stuff could probably also use more finesse if im being honest#the good 6 episodes far outweight the meh 6 episodes to me but then i start thinking abt it and its like#we coulda had it aaaawlllllllllll........#its me talking#ted lasso#also i would not have centered nates redemption arc around jade. i get their intentions and what they were going for but it was weird#but nate's arc stuck the landing for me surprisingly enough#ted lasso has this thing where they hit the emotional beats even if they weren't properly earned#its some sort of wizardry
