No matter how skilled the Crows are at stabby stabbing and killy killing they physically could not achieve some basic life skills because they didn't get normal teenage lives. This being said, I present to you :
Socially and generally awkward Crows headcanons
They can't drink.
Not just legally (cause I don't feel like anyone cares abt drinking age in Ketterdam), but like they suck at it.
They all except for maybe Matthias and Nina absolutely can't stand the taste of alcohol.
Kaz is good at keeping straight face while drinking and convincing himself he likes it, but after he first tried vodka he looked like a squished lemon.
Jesper likes certain kinds of alcohol, but gets drunk veeeery easily and then deals with a hangover for the next 2 days.
Inej simply dislikes it. She can drink on occasion but she doesn't bother to pretend to like it.
Wylan would feel sick after the first sip of wine.
Same with ciggaretes. They all would turn into a fucking steam train, coughing their lungs out with all the smoke.
They all have no idea about celebrities that aren't connected to the criminal stuff or government
Jesper is the only one who knows and always has the most shocked expressions when he would mention like insanely popular singer and the Crows would go like "wtf is this".
He uses this to lie to Kaz about some celebrity being a criminal boss so that Kaz would go like "now tell me all you know about this asshole Bieber and where he keeps his weapons and drugs😡😡🤬🤬".
They have the shittiest humour ever
Like fifth grader type of humour. And they are kings and queens in that humour. Like that Kaz's mum joke. Like "my ghost won't associate with your ghost"(it was hilarious actually). Like any Jesper's line.

You got me really curious abt what Six of Crows is now...
Okay okay okay Six of Crows is a YA fantasy book by Leigh Bardugo, part of a two-book series (? I think). SoC is set in a sort of fantasy 1800s Amsterdam. There are guns and machinery and gas lighting, but also magic exists and it’s a fictional universe. It’s about a group of six criminals (four of whom are in a gang together), all teenagers, who go on a mission to rescue a scientist from the most secure prison in the world in exchange for 30 million kruge, the fantasy world currency.
The main characters are Kaz Brekker, a ruthless leader who will do literally anything if it will give him the advantage he wants. He’s very dedicated to maintaining his image as an almost mythical evil force. He’s the second-in-command of a gang known as the Dregs. He’s got the Most Traumatising™ backstory in a cast filled with traumatizing backstories.
Inej is also known as the Wraith. She’s a gymnast and acrobat who is handy with knives. She’s really cool and probably my favorite character in the book. Kaz has to put effort into maintaining his image as cool ruthless gangster, Inej is badass enough that the rumors spring up on their own. She’s one of the only people Kaz actually trusts, and is another member of the Dregs.
Jesper is another member of the Dregs, a sharpshooter with hidden talents and a tendency to gamble. He’s a bit of an idiot, but super awesome anyway. He worships Kaz But is never certain of how Kaz views him. He’s also acknowledged to be bi or pan.
Nina is the fourth member of the Dregs. She’s a Grisha, a person with magical abilities. She’s what’s called a Heartrender, someone who can alter someone’s emotions, change their heart rate, stop their breathing, make them get sick, and any other sort of potential warfare against the human body, all with her hands. She’s very flirtatious and has a history with Matthias, who is another member of the team. Despite the fact that Matthias loved Nina and still has feelings for her, he tries to ignore that fact, because he’s a drüskelle, a witch hunter. His people believe that Grisha are less than human and must be eradicated. Witch hunter is one of the highest orders to which a Fjerdan can belong. So Matthias has a bit of a conundrum with all of that.
And finally, there’s Wylan Van Eck, the estranged son of a wealthy merchant. Wylan is an excellent flautist. (He also makes bombs, which is why he’s along for the ride). Wylan’s definitely gay, and he and Jesper flirt enough for me to be shipping them.
This is a very long answer to a very simple ask but my murder children have kind of taken over my life. (Despite an insane schedule and the fact that I’m reading three other books, not to mention schoolwork, I got SoC done in about three days.)
I highly recommend this book, but I would definitely put in some big big big TWs for gore, death, slavery, forced prostitution, and racism. Especially gore. It’s an intense book, and it definitely had me hooked the whole way through.
