Summary:
Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes is a 2D tag-team fighting game developed and released by Capcom for the arcades (running the Dreamcast-based Sega NAOMI hardware) on February 24, 2000.
The fourth installment of the Marvel vs. Capcom crossover series, the game doubles the roster of its predecessor (including new additions and returning fighters) while adding new 3-on-3 gameplay and simplified controls (two punch buttons, two kick buttons, and two assist buttons). It also brings back the classic "assist attack" system (sans "partners") while adding a new "snapback" attack (a close-ranged attack that, if hit successfully, swaps the opponent's character with another). A unique aspect of the game is its use of experience points for each arcade machine that increments by playtime, determining how many characters and alternate costumes are unlocked.
One of Capcom's earliest fighting games developed outside of their arcade hardware, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 combines 2D hand-drawn sprites with 3D backgrounds (a style later used for Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium). It is the last game in the series to use hand-drawn sprites for its characters.
The game was later released for the Dreamcast throughout 2000 (March in Japan, June in North America, and July in Europe), adding a new system of "purchasing" the locked characters/costumes with accumulated playtime (and trading them using the VMU). The Japanese version of the game also includes online multiplayer and the ability to use VMUs with the arcade version (where players can use their unlocked characters and earn experience points). It was later ported to the PlayStation 2 (in September 2002, with the Japanese version including online multiplayer) and Xbox (in September 2002 for Japan and March 2003 for North America).
It was later ported (by Backbone) as a digital release for the Xbox 360 (via Xbox Live Arcade on July 29, 2009) and the PlayStation 3 (via PlayStation Network on August 13, 2009). This version includes online multiplayer (including a six-player lobby system), various graphical options (including widescreen support), support for custom soundtracks, and all content unlocked from the start. The original console version was ported to iOS devices on April 25, 2012 (adding touch controls). These ports were removed from their respective storefronts on December 2013.

The other versions of the game did not contain the above-mentioned glitch.

Fixed versions of the game features a black and white graphic behind the title font on the cartridge's label, while bugged versions feature the label in full color. These cartridges have been sent by mail along with a package of five King of Fighters trading cards. On June 6, SNK announced that the replacement cartridge would be available in stores on June 25 and began the process of implementing a recall. The game crashes after talking to an opponent named Jon, who has to be defeated in order to finish the game. Players build decks of characters pulled from the annals of SNK and Capcom.

The bug occurs on the ninth floor of the tower, during the second play through. Capcom Card Fighters is the first new game in the series since 2000. Power Stone characters are absent from the game.Īlmost immediately after the American NDS version was released, an unavoidable bug was discovered in the game. Many newcomers have been added from recent games produced by both companies, such as Capcom's Dante and Phoenix Wright as well as SNK's Yuki and Nagase.ADK characters were added to the SNK side, from games like Aggressors of Dark Kombat, Ninja Master's -Haoh-Ninpo-Cho- and the World Heroes series. For once, it seems that the late launch of a title in Europe will be beneficial, because the European version of SNK Vs Capcom Card Fighters DS wont come. This Nintendo DS game was released on Decemin Japan and was released on Apin the United States. It was the last game to be released for the Neo Geo Pocket Color in Japan. Instead of being released as two versions ( SNK and Capcom), this game was released as a single version that lets the players decide to either start with a SNK deck or a Capcom deck. Another new feature is special character cards with alternate versions of various characters depicted with regular artwork instead of the super deformed style. In addition to the 240 character and 60 action cards from the first game, 124 new cards are added, adding cast from Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Samurai Shodown: Warriors Rage, The King of Fighters ' for SNK, and Project Justice, Mega Man Legends, Dino Crisis and Onimusha for Capcom, while also including 40 Reaction cards that can be used during the opponent's attack. This Japan-only sequel to SVC: Card Fighters' Clash was released in 2001 for the Neo Geo Pocket Color after Capcom vs. fighters) are allowed in each player's field at any given moment and there is no mana to be spent to place them in the field (there are, however, Special Points, SP for short, which are gained as fighters are placed in the field and spent as the players use Action Cards - this game's equivalent of Enchantments - or combined attacks). Each version of the game has a different starting deck and different exclusive cards that can be obtained, but the gameplay remains the same, with card battles resembling a somewhat simplified version of Magic: The Gathering, in which a maximum of three "creatures" (i.e. There are two complementary versions of the game: the SNK version and the Capcom version. Characters in the game are illustrated in the super deformed art style. The first game in the series, released in 1999 for the Neo Geo Pocket Color handheld console, was the first crossover between SNK and Capcom. Note: Be careful not to register the new formed deck recipe to deck recipe B or you will lose a card instead of gaining one.1999 video game SNK vs. You will now find the card you just added increases by the number you added. This game possesses a collectible trading card theme, with artworks on the cards featuring characters from both SNK and Capcom companies, including references from the games of both companies too. You will be prompted to overwrite the existing recipe select "Yes". The 1st 2 Card Fighters games were released on the Neo-Geo Pocket Color, and now the series make its debut on the Nintendo DS Platform. Register the new formed deck recipe to deck recipe A (touch the menu button, then the second button seen). Introduced in the original Final Fight, Poison is an orphan from Los Angeles. She enjoys fighting and uses it as a means to stay in shape,[2] making use of her ties with the original Mad Gear Gang to keep herself out of prison.[26] In Final Fight Revenge, her behavior was represented as womanly and sultry, ranging from flirtatious comments to pole dancing. She frames Cody for her assault crimes and gets him arrested by Edi. E, though she later visits him in jail having developed romantic feelings for him.[27] In the Street Fighter III series, she reappears working as a wrestling manager for her friend Hugo, who could not find a tag team partner due to his immense strength. From here their plots would focus on the two searching for a tag partner or starting their own wrestling association, echoed in their SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos appearance.[28] Poison later appeared as a playable character alongside Hugo in Street Fighter X Tekken with similar goals,[29] and in Ultra Street Fighter IV, in which she combined the concept with a rock band theme in her character ending.[30] In Street Fighter V, Poison returns to Metro City after she and Hugo have a falling-out begins searching for a new partner she can make a star, to little success. Ultimately, she and Hugo reconcile and become partners once again.[31]
Poison was also planned to appear both in Capcom Fighting All-Stars and Final Fight Streetwise, though the first game was canceled and she was cut from the second. In Mighty Final Fight, a chibi parody of the character named "Poison Kiss" appears as a generic enemy, a corrupt cop and characterized as her younger sister.[32] Poison has also appeared based on her role as Hugo's manager on cards for SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters Clash and the game's Nintendo DS sequel, as well as the related printed trading card game.[33] Poison appears as one of the spectators in the Metro City stage in Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds.

SNK vs Capcom: Card Fighters Clash DS for Nintendo DS. It's the third and final game in the series. But it was a little disappointing game though. The first game on NGPC is one of my most favorite games of all times. #snk #capcom #snkvscapcom #snkplaymore #cardfighters #cardgame #nintendo #ds #handheld #cartridge #retro #gaming #collection #videogame #videogames #game #games #retrogame #retrogaming #retrogame_feature #retrooyuntopluluğu https://www.instagram.com/p/CBgevwEHklX/?igshid=zdope4o52pn2

The Son of Sparda himself, Dante. I put together this list of Dante’s appearances throughout time a few years ago, and have been updating every chance I get. I searched high and low for every appearance I could find, and I hope I got them all. This is also on my deviantART, but hasn’t been updated for awhile. I did not include action figures, the radio drama, pachislot/pachinko machines, or the reboot on this list. If I've missed any, please let me know.  I hope you guys enjoy!

Note
Dante was in the timeless classic, SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters DS.
As for Viewtiful Joe, sadly, even at the height of his popularity, the franchise was pretty niche. I don't know if that many people even remember him that well.
dunno why everyone wants doomguy in smash. dante though? he's a perfect fit.
I know cloud being in smash was a stretch, but at least he represents a franchise that has had games on Nintendo systems. DMC has never had any presence on Nintendo systems. Viewtiful Joe and Wonder Red would have a better time getting in.
