christmas with the yanderes (pt. 1?)
i'm here, i'm here, daddy's home just in time for the holidays.
18+ mdni: mostly wholesome, bit suggestive tho. contains mild yandere themes. y'all stay safe out there. mwah.
Tumblr media
karma:
expensive christmas
most def flies you out to either a winter cabin in the alps (if you're the snow type) or to a tropical country (if you dislike winter)
regardless of where you go, a shopping spree is guaranteed.
karma would literally spend all his money on you if he could (or if you'd let him)
if its a tropical country; he's probably going to take you on a tour, and really let you learn the local culture (and unsurprisingly, he can speak the local language)
if its a winter getaway, you guys are either gonna be snuggled indoors together, or skiing/snowboarding together (although he'd secretly die from worry). its all up to you tbh.
possible gifts you could receive: literally anything you've mentioned wanting, new clothes and shoes, and probably a credit card thats linked to karma's private bank account.
possible gifts he'd like to receive: something handmade by you, new piercing jewellery, a male grooming kit, your hand in marriage.
rich man, rich Christmas; 10/10.
bhodi
cozy Christmas
bo's the type to stay indoors and stay snuggled up with you through the holidays
you guys would most probably make hot cocoa (his grandma's recipe is amazing!) as well as bake treats together
he'd set up a tree and play cute Christmas music throughout the house as well
and even though you're not expecting it, bhodi would probably stack tons and tons of gifts under the tree for you
and on Christmas day when you wake up, you'll have tons of packages to open.
oddly enough, its everything from your wishlist. your private wishlist....
possible gifts you could receive: handmade sweater (he commissioned a small business to make it), some cute jewellery (if you wear any), a scrapbook with pictures of you guys together, and everything on your wishlist fr.
possible gifts he'd want: your used underwear, matching clothing for you and him, a nail polish set, pieces of your hair.
cozy boy Christmas, 10/10
max
red Christmas
max would probably try to attend all the Christmas parties he can in the human world
he's a ''tattoo artist'' and humans usually get stupid tattoos done at parties
if you'd like to come with, he's always game, but if not, then its cool as well.
when he's not tattooing crazy youths, he's usually wandering around the city with you
exploring the shops that are having sales or just having fun in the snow.
you guys would most def have a snow ball fight and make snow angels
or if you're not in the mood for that, you guys would sit on a park bench together as its snowing, and sip hot drinks as you laugh and talk all night.
and for the first time, max is wholesome enough to give you a gift with a handwritten letter confessing his love.
(and maybe at the end of the night, you guys feed off a random civilian just for fun :) )
possible gifts you could get: some expensive/ antique jewellery, something weird/niche that you mentioned wanting, something to support your hobby, a pet.
possible gifts he'd want: a new tattoo gun and needles, new pigments, new sunglasses, (let him tattoo you!!), a book in Japanese that he mentions wanting, your blood in a vial necklace.
red Christmas, 9/10 (its not for everyone)
memory
white Christmas
memory hasn't ever really celebrated Christmas
he's been alive for so long, and he's never been interested enough to want to partake
however, with you in the picture, its a little different
so he reads up about Christmas, the customs, the traditions and the modern day celebrations
he most def takes you to the Christmas fair in town, and buys you whatever catches your eye
he sets up a Christmas tree in his wing of the castle as well
he'd also like to bake cookies with you as per the human custom
if you're religious, he accompanies you to your place of worship (although its not his favourite place to be)
anything you want to do, he's there. he makes himself present and available for you
although he may not understand the hype, if it makes you happy, he's happy to participate.
possible gifts you could get: books, vampire themed stuffed animals, a new device/console, anything you thought about recently that he heard when he read your mind, a creampie.
possible gifts he'd want: books, more reagents, your hand in marriage, creampies.
white Christmas, 9/10.

How To Select The Best Plastic Base For Your Garden Structure?
The Shed Base Business Plastic Shed Bases are a rather new concept when constructing your garden shed, cabin or small office. You will also find many shed base companies all around the UK, but how do you know that it is the right company for you? How can you tell if the shed base company you're looking for will keep their word? If you want to find the best shed base company for your needs, follow these guidelines. Groundwork Needed for the 6' x 4' Plastic Shed Base Kit Installation
The Provider
As with any service industry, you need a shed base company that will assist you all the way to the finished shed product. On websites, customer feedback is typically a reliable indicator of a company's quality. Additionally, receiving Customer Service Awards is more satisfying.
Shed Base Company has been awarded the gold seal from the renowned eKomi feedback company with a rating of 4.8 out of 5. This is genuine feedback from an independent company. We provide a delivery service, online ordering 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and expert assistance.
The Product
Tumblr media
There is a definite movement away from traditional concrete, steel and wood bases to be used as Shed Base. A strong, movable, and weather-resistant base is necessary if you want to move your garden structure. Many plastic base companies claim to have a unique product without proof of certification or testing methods used on the strength and sturdiness of their bases. When we make our interlocking grid design panels at Shed Base Company, we only use recycled plastic. Yes, as important as our customers are to us, so is the environment. Further, our shed base panels have been tested unfilled to 320 tonnes per square meter that makes them strong and sturdy. We offer warranties on all of our products to prevent future disputes. Plastic Shed Base Kit for 6' x 4' Shed Base Under Shed The Cost of
Price
There are many companies who will offer you an inferior product at a very “good price”, only to find that this will cost you more in the long run. Gather three quotes and if one is excessively low or excessively high, discard it. Read other people's reviews to make sure they actually deliver on their promises by reviewing their products online or by reading customer reviews. At Shed Base Company, we believe that customers need to get the best possible product at the best possible price. Except for the fact that our shed base are made from recycled plastic, it is also offered to customers at affordable prices. Warranty and After-Sales Service
It is so sad that once a customer has bought a company’s product, they offer no warranty or even worse – no after sales service. You can find comprehensive instructions on how to install our product on the Shed Base Company website. Customers are more than welcome to contact us for expert guidance or to visit us in person if they have any questions. Additionally, our products come with a comprehensive warranty, demonstrating to customers that we have complete faith in them.

Getting the track sharks they did not attract them but it was close a few were out there and smelled it you just kept going it wasn't enough it would have been a good meal but these guys may have caught him no this is incredible cash for a boat like that there's a reason why it works it holds the air in this is the same company it's del Mar it says of the sea it's ironic this is one of the persons from the old man the sea Tommy f cuz the Santiago character and that was his first clone and they're going through it now cuz they heard it from a lot of people and our son said it's because by the time you're done I'm going to be like a Walmart guy and a grocery store chain guy and that's what you'll have left and he says that freaking blows and they might need some other gross stuff so he's trying to get upset and angry and they may try and make another brother and all sudden it's like this I've heard this stuff and Trump heard it a little and start looking at it and said it's horrible and that's what it's like for a son cuz he's smart and you people live in ignorance and you get crushed they have maneuvers coming up and they're big and we know about them and you don't and we won't tell you. This boat is going to be ours it makes the bigger boat goes up to a 36 and we probably should use the and he says that's plenty we should probably use the large cabin with the open bow idea and use our idea of raising the bow up a bit and when you're underway you come back and it's true this would work really nicely I get an extra foot down there and it's comfortable it's a little cozy but boy it's it's a nice boat and it's a 35 and the bottle is a little bit beefier these have a little smaller bow and we might keep it that way for the work boats they're easier to manage and the way it's designed it holds air in it it's really cool and I mean the air it's not airtight but it stays in it and we might make some compartments that are airtight so it doesn't sink it is a great idea and the compartments is a great idea there is stuff that floats that's not flammable as much and we might do that too and it's lightweight and just put about four or five packs in and it floats enough feet to sit on it or people to see it so you these days you don't want to be in the water think you can avoid some things and other stuff eats it and it goes away sometimes it's better than nothing and if it stays upright then we'll try and make it so it does and you put the packs up higher you stay in it when it's upright a lot of stuff will not get in and you can you repair the boat and we're going to do that it's going to be a top seller material and it's hard to break and it's easy to patch and there's a patch kit it's really easy it's sticking on it stays on maybe bail it out so we're going to start doing that and we're going to approach these people and here we talk to them and they want to sell so we're going to try and do a presale and we're going to work on the paperwork
Thor Freya
Of course we're going to hire management and other sales he says to have Santiago each version the salespeople and have big sales offices not small and a nice size one in Italy and they use these all the time and he loves the thing and they'll think he has it but he'll make the money and we'll be making the product and he wonders why this is it won't work otherwise and it gets that so it's something we'd like to do there are other people too who have that curse people who are in the water Tommy Allen has it and other people here who are constantly trying to fly fish for our son like it's possible it's really horrible and they do pull a tune in that's what Santiago's fishing for and that's what he's fishing for right here
Thor Freya
Oh s*** I thought I was going to use it as cover and it's real because the max we got this stuff he's trying to work the code doesn't really have a boat company but he probably will try and take this over and have certain people do it and get it going it's a nice boat this thing is great and I was playing around with it this thing is so fast supposed to hit the water is gross but we do it anyways and says you could do it somewhere where it's clean and I'm going to try and find that but boy it's a fun time I mean this thing really moves and you can go around with it it's not light either it's powerful and that boat that little the work boat with a huge deck area has a cuddy cabin that's comfortable and a kitchenette it is great and they're built right and yeah I'm from the ocean too and we like it and this is a nightmare
Tommy f
He wants to be able to have a yacht and it won't be too big and 36 is pretty big he says and it's the right number of the let him have one and they'll try and do stuff and we do get that they'll probably increase sales I tell you what it's a lot of fun for him just that size boat you just need anything huge and he needs something to rugged like this cuz it's going to be heavier after time you'll need a yacht just to fit in it but he doesn't have a specially made one not too special but really would be all heavy duty and he knows he can they're ones you can buy that are metal not steel and that would be what he'd buy smell like a real cruise ship but they cost a lot of money he's going to have money so we're getting ready for that kind of thing now but really this is starting and he says we have to start at some point and this is a nice boat and a son has seen them at boat shows when they are pretty big and they had nice boats and he liked the boat he looked all over it so wow this is built really well he thinks one was down here and it was and it was a lot of money but it was built with thick fiberglass like it should be he said and I'll tell you what they actually honk through the water pretty good and they're a lot safer we're going to put a that safety feature so it'll float upright some boats have it by the way donzi has it
Thor Freya the people who own it now will have access to the company and we're setting up an agreement and we want them to help do sales and things like that and they will and they know how to run it and they know what it's for work phone I mean what you saw as a work phone that is a work boat it is meant for crabbing and lobster and fishing and moving around movies and I maintaining things it's a dive boat and it's a work boat and they sell a lot of them but the other boys would be fun to sell and to model and to have a few wherever you go it's a nice time before the boat and some Marina's are very nice it's a bit dangerous now but it's going to clear up pretty soon I'm going to be ready right now we need a ton of work boats and a lot of people do
Thor Freya again

Sam went soaring past me, crashing through the door frame and slamming into the wall, slumping to the ground. "Sam!" I yelled, running to his side, lifting him up, gingerly, to sitting. I looked up at Dean, his eyes still roaming the hall and doorway where Sam had come from. "There's two." Sam coughed out. Dean glanced down as I quickly assessed Sam, he was clearly favouring one side of his body, possible broken ribs. "Stay here, we've got this." Dean instructed. He nodded once at me. I placed a hand on Sam's shoulder as I stood up straight, but he grabbed my wrist as I turned to leave. "Be careful." He wheezed. I smiled and turned, I wouldn't make promises I didn't know I could keep.
I tapped Dean's shoulder as I caught up, stilling outside the doorway for a breath, then we entered the room. He swept right, I swept left and then we swung around, covering our backs. But it didn't matter. The monster was holding himself in the beamwork of the ceiling. The ceiling! As it took Dean out, his gun went flying and they were suddenly grappling on the floor near my feet. But Sam had said two, and I looked up, gun following my line of sight, and there it was. I managed to get off a round as it launched, the controlled pounce turning into a free fall, but it wasn’t dead yet. The gun went sliding along the floor as we both fell to the ground. With adrenaline coursing through my body I managed to beat the beast to the knife strapped to my thigh, and plunged it deep into its chest. It gargled and whined, then went limp. I pushed it off and clambered to the closest gun, turning with it gripped tightly in my hands. The other monster had Dean by the neck, clearly winning the fight. I didn’t hesitate, I trusted my aim, and it collapsed to the side, rolling off Dean. Two monsters dead, all to worry about now was Sam.
I ran out of the room, and dropped to my knees at Sam's side; he had a trickle of blood over his lip and down his chin, he'd paled and his breathing was even shallower than when I'd left. "Sam?" I breathed, running my hand over his hair, brushing it off his face. He tried to smile at me but spluttered, producing more blood. My mind slowed down, everything happened as if in slow motion, my body calmed, my hands steadied; I pulled at his shirt, lifting it up to reveal the cause of the damage, he had a large, purple bruise positioned over his ribs. Broken, as I’d suspected, but with the shallow breathing, he'd probably punctured his lung. I was made aware of Dean's presence by the sharp intake of breath and the low call of Sam's name as he saw the bruise. "I'm sorry Sammy, this is gonna hurt." I said, his eyes widened and looked to Dean for help but I was already reeling back. I punched him - hard. One punch placed perfectly could knock even Mike Tyson out, and I'd landed it. He dropped into my awaiting hand. "What are you--” “Knife.” I demanded. He looked confused, not catching on, “Knife!” He startled, but pulled the clean blade from the back of his waistband, placing it into my awaiting hand. "I need alcohol, whatever kinda spirit you have in the car." I told him, and this time he moved fast. I lowered Sam to the ground, maneuvering him gingerly, so he was lying flat. I unbuttoned his shirt and cut a slit up the middle of his undershirt, exposing his side and the angry bruising.
Dean burst back through the abandoned cabin and dropped to his knees at my side, laying out the first aid kit and the small bottle of vodka. “I don’t know where this came from, but it was under the seat,” He began to explain, holding out the small bottle of vodka. I snatched it from his hand and unscrewed the top, pouring it over the blade and then washed my hands with it. “What are you--” Dean began, eyes wide. “Make sure he doesn’t move,” I instructed, bedside manner had never been my forte. I splashed more vodka over Sam’s side as Dean positioned himself near Sam’s head, a hand on his shoulder, the other gentle at the top of his head, comforting. "You might wanna look away." I said, but I didn't check to see if he'd paid attention before I sliced a small incision into the bruise over Sam’s side. Blood poured out and I pushed at the swelling to encourage more of the blood to escape, “Jesus, YN--” Dean muttered, but he wasn’t making a move to stop me. I took a loop of the hard and hollow plastic tubing from the kit and sliced it to an angled point, then fed it into Sam's wound, puncturing into the pleural space around the lung, more blood spurted out the top of the tube, but  when it stopped, there was a gurgle. Then Sam took a sharp inhale of air. "Fuck." Dean murmured. I began to pack around the wound and the tube, using anything I could get my hands on from the first aid kit. "We gotta get him to a hospital." I said, finally looking up to see Dean’s pale face.
“What the fuck was that?” Dean asked once the hospital staff had wheeled Sam away. “A test tube thoracost--” “In English.” “I performed a test tube insertion. His lung had been punctured by his rib, and the space around his lung was filling with blood, I had to relieve the pressure, that’s the only way--” "Where did you learn to do that?" He questioned, looking at me as if I were a stranger. I scoffed and sat down in the waiting area, “Did you always wanna be a hunter?” “Yeah,” He said with a definite nod, as if it was a common dream. “Well...” he’d taken the wind out of my sails, “I was in training to be a paramedic when I…” I was beginning to realise he didn’t know the story of how I’d wound up hunting, “ I kinda found myself possessed.” He sat next to me, raking a hand through his hair, shoulders slumped. “I didn’t know that,” He said. “I wasn’t raised in it like you and Sam.” “Yeah, I knew that, but … I figured someone you knew…” He sat back, turning in his seat to look at me, “What happened?” “It’s a long story,” I sighed, letting myself sink into the square plastic seat. “We’ve got time.”
Sure enough, we did; it was three hours before someone remembered us, coming with forms for Dean to fill out, then a doctor came around, explaining the damage, congratulating me on the “life-saving surgery”, discouraging me from ever doing it again. He explained Sam’s care, to potentially hire a professional if we were going to continue to hang Christmas lights… yeah, panicked thinking wasn’t my strong suit, and a fast mouth wasn’t Dean’s. Then he showed us to Sam’s room, pulling the curtain behind us.
“Hey, Sammy, how you feeling?” Dean cooed as he rounded the bed to stand next to his brother, looking him over. “Groggy, but okay,” Sam managed, voice hoarse after surgery. I noticed the band around his wrist and twisted it, curious to know if he gave a name or they’d taken it from the sheet Dean filled out. “Hey, what happened after…” Sam trailed off, frowning at his lack of memory, “I can’t remember too much,” “Probably for the best,” I muttered, giving him a warm smile when he looked up at me. “She knocked you out then cut you open and stuck a tube in you,” Dean explained. “What?” Sam asked, head whipping to his brother. I sighed loudly, rolling my eyes at Dean. “It was a simple chest tube thoracostomy,” I lied when Sam looked back for explanation. “You know she was a paramedic before all this?” Dean asked. “Well, I mean, I knew you’d studied,” Sam said, eyes wide, face unreadable, questioning and yet in awe. His hand found mine on the bed, and squeezed. “Saved your life though, man,” Dean said, gripping Sam’s shoulder. “You’re amazing,” Sam said, eyes full of adoration, even in the drug induced haze, his eyes shone. “You’re on good pain meds,” I teased, brushing it off before he could make me blush. But his hand squeezed mine, pulling me closer. “You’re my hero,” And he must’ve been on the good stuff, because his blinks got slow, his head seemingly heavy, but he was waiting for a reply, holding sleep off until he got one. “High,” Dean whispered, comically concealing his mouth from Sam’s sight. “I’m no hero, I put my bra on one boob at a time, like everyone else.”

Words: 2029 Warnings: injury, fluff
Autumn truly was the most beautiful time of the year, your small cabin deep in the woods the best investment you had ever made. Every year, at this time, you came here to recharge and take a break from the exhausting and busy city life; living surrounded by red, yellow, orange and brown leaves both on the trees and on the ground made this the perfect and most breath-taking opportunity to do so, even if it was only for the weekends.
The day had started off quietly. An amazing breakfast, a cup of coffee and a good book. It was tranquil, idyllic… the land around you beautiful and peaceful—that was until you suddenly spotted a body lying on the ground not too far from your cabin. You gasped, an ice cold shiver running down your spine as you hurried to put on your jacket and then stormed outside in midst of the forest.
It was a he. A handsome, outrageously good looking he. Sharp cheekbones, a beautiful face… a thin but well-trained body… biting your lower lip, you touched him gently. Still warm. And there was a pulse. You breathed out relieved. He was alive then.
So why was he unconscious? Your eyes scanned his heavenly body, searching for any injuries. Once more you gasped. His dark blue shirt was drenched in blood. You had to help him. You knew what injuries like these could cause in the woods. He could be dead before dusk—if he didn’t bleed out, surely a wolf or another wild animal would claim him.
Taking another deep breath to gather your strength, you bent down to grab his upper arms and pull him inside.
He was heavy. Heavy enough your back hurt when you had finally managed to lift him on your sofa.
Carefully, you lifted up his shirt, your mouth watering despite all the blood. God, he truly was hot. You could see his abs heaving with every ragged breath he took.
But now you had to work quickly—and you were beyond grateful for that first aid crash course you had enrolled for a year ago. You knew what to do.
Fortunately, the wound wasn’t too deep, no stitches necessary. Thank God he was unconscious when you dipped some gauze into disinfecting alcohol solution from your first aid kit and began to treat him with a sigh.
-
James Conrad woke with a start, stinging pain rippling through his abdomen when he tried to sit up. The last thing he remembered was the bear that had caught him off guard. He had known how to react correctly but in surprise, he slipped on the moist leaves.
A sharp rock must have bored itself into his flesh, the blood loss and his head hitting the ground knocking him out.
He was lucky to still be alive. Where the hell was he, anyway?
The cosy room he was in was not a hospital, it much reminded him of a cabin instead. A fire was crackling in the background, a blanket draped over his form.
He turned his head when he heard silent footsteps on the carpet, laying his eyes upon a beautiful young woman. His rescuer, most likely.
“Hey… I found you in the woods, bleeding to death.” You explained shyly, smiling down at him in the process. It was an old tick, really—being all timid around men you found handsome and attractive.
The stranger in front of you swallowed. Once again, he attempted to sit up, this time succeeding after a pitiful grunt of pain.
“Where am I?” His voice was low, velvety and pleasant to the ear. A shiver ran down your spine.
“In my cabin, not far from where you passed out. I always come here on the weekends in autumn.”
“I presume you were the one who patched me up?”
You nodded, your gaze becoming thoughtful. “What happened to you?”
“I’m a tracker,” he growled, his face distorting upon another wave of pain. Quickly, you handed him the painkillers you had been sure he’d need. He took them and swallowed them without hesitation. “Two weeks ago, a thirteen year old girl disappeared in these woods while taking her dog for a walk. The police couldn’t find her and her parents are devastated.”
“Oh… I see… how did you get hurt?”
“A bear surprised me and I slipped. Simply an unlucky fall.”
You frowned. You knew there were bears in this region, of course. They usually didn’t mind the few humans passing by though. “Did the bear attack you?”
The stranger shook his head. “I’ve dealt with worse…”
Instantly, his thoughts appeared to drift away, somewhere you were unable to follow him.
“A-anyway, I’m (Y/N). You… feel free to stay for as long as you need to heal.”
“James Conrad, decommissioned British SAS officer.” He held out his hand and when you took it to shake it politely, his skin touching yours felt like your whole hand igniting. Your heart skipped a beat, even more so when his piercing blue eyes locked with yours and studied you for an intense moment. “Thank you for the offer but I’m not staying. I need to find that girl.”
“In this condition? You’ll get yourself killed! Not to mention the animals that will smell the blood on you.”
Conrad paused. You were right. It was indeed risky to return to the woods with his injury. But the girl’s safety was at risk too. He did not dare think she might be dead already. He had lost one innocent soul once and he would not let it happen again. He had to leave—and you could see the determination sparkling in his eyes.
“At least stay the night and recover. It’ll be dark soon.”
-
James, much to your surprise, obeyed. After the sun had disappeared, he took the freedom of helping you prepare supper despite his wound. The painkillers had worked wonders, yet you chided him for not staying on the sofa to rest.
You could tell, clearly, that he had indeed been through much worse. Surely, this marked man had uncountable stories to tell. So you didn’t object.
“Why do you spend your weekends in a cabin in the woods all on your own?” He asked all the while chopping vegetables on the counter next to you.
“Work life is busy. I’m a junior sales executive, the job gets rather exhausting after a while. I love what I’m doing, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes I need to… just breathe a little.”
Ever since he had told you about the girl who had gone missing, you were a little worried though. What if some cold-blooded murderers roamed these woods, in search of their next victim? What if they had abducted her and now kept her as some kind of sex slave underground?
All of a sudden, you were glad for James’s presence—you would be for as long as it lasted. Who knew? Perhaps in a few weeks’ time, you could meet again for a cup of coffee. Without one party having been severely injured and on the brink of death.
“James, uh… do you have any idea why this girl disappeared? Are there any theories?”
“You’re concerned.” He stated unfazed, without looking up from the chopped vegetables. Apparently, he was excellent at reading people too.
“A little… these woods… they’ve always been safe, you know. In fact, I’ve always felt much safer and more secure here than in the city.”
“That’s reasonable. Here, let me.” James stopped you when you attempted to lift the griddle off the fridge as you were too small to reach it yourself. Usually, you’d get a chair and climb on it.
“Thank you.” Watching his muscles flex for just a brief precious moment, you distracted yourself by pouring the potatoes you had cut into slices onto it and then seasoned them with some salt, pepper and rosemary. Along with the rice and the vegetables James had cut, this supper would be simple but amazing. You didn’t bring too much food with you on the weekends, after all.
“The police are groping in the dark. For all they know, Lucy was attacked by one of the bears or she, like myself, slipped somewhere, hit her head…” And in that case, she’s unlikely still alive, he added mutely. “Still, you can’t rule out the possibility she was indeed kidnapped. Her parents told me she took her dog for a walk at the same time of the day all week long, taking the same route. That would make her an easy target.”
You swallowed. “I see…”
“How long are you staying?” His expression was genuine. He cared.
“I’m leaving on Sunday evening but I’ll come back next weekend. It’ll be the last before it’s too cold anyway. The chimney is fine to heat the cabin with but it takes quite a while to get out here by foot.”
Though as of right now, you were unsure whether you should.
-
James and you chatted throughout the entire evening. You got to know him better, his motives, his thoughts, his morals. He had indeed seen terrible things, done terrible things, too. And he had been involved in the expedition to Skull Island, that uncharted piece of land still a mystery to the rest of the world. He would not utter a single word about it.
With every word he did speak though, you began falling for him a little more. How likely would that be? That you’d find an injured man all alone in the forest, treated his wounds and then took a serious liking into him?
“I haven’t properly thanked you yet.” He began when you returned from the bathroom wearing your sleep wear. The coffee this morning wasn’t nearly enough, all the excitement of potentially having saved a life today tearing on your energy. You were tired.
A smile spread on your lips, your heart speeding up. “You’re welcome, James. I was planning on watching a movie before bed. Would you like to join me?” Your TV truly was the only luxury in this cabin. Acquiring the electricity for it had been tricky but you were proud of the outcome.
“What kind of movie?”
“Well… Halloween is coming up. How about something spooky?” And the background noises of the TV would make you fall asleep easier. You didn’t tell him that, of course.
If anything, James Conrad was restrained, surrounded by a hard, impenetrable shell. He was warming up to you, slowly but surely and with that, melted your own timidity.
You picked a movie from the stash you had brought on your first weekend, with James disappearing in the kitchen to prepare some tea for you two. It was a simple gesture, one he could not help. It had been a while since the last time he was with a woman—a woman he was undoubtedly interested in.
It was so simple, so raw. You, wearing an oversized shirt and fluffy socks, your hair in a bun and wearing no make-up. So natural and somehow… vulnerable—and that, compared with the fact you had saved his life today—made you seem so incredibly strong and independent he felt his heart beating faster upon laying his eyes on you.
Carefully, so he wouldn’t trigger any pain, he sat down, putting the steaming mugs on the coffee table.
It didn’t take you long to get sleepy as soon as you hit play, once again grateful to fate for having brought a mysterious and handsome man to your doorstep. Before you knew it, your head dropped onto his shoulder and you drifted off into dreamland.
James smiled to himself. It was a strange and unusual way to meet a woman—but certainly, he was not going to complain. It would be irresponsible of him not to make sure you were safe and sound when you came back here next weekend.
He’d pay you a visit, hoping that by that time, he’d already have found the girl and could relax, preferably, with you in his arms. But for now, he pressed a tender kiss on your head before carrying you to bed.

Resources List for the Land
This is a record of several resources I’ve recently found useful for planning, maintenance and staying on the land shared with my sisters. In no particular order.
Tree/Logs/Forest Resources
For Cutting, Processing and Milling (?) trees on the land. An article on the Arborists of Martha’s Vineyard
Women owning Woodlands
Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation Videos - especially the one on horse logging
How to cut trees and logs with a bow saw
Small/Tiny Houses & Sheds Sources
In Ontario they call them “Bunkies” more here and here and here and here’s a company that offers bunkie-kits
Jamaica Cottage Shop - ships post and beam kits, which is what I’d have to do because they don’t ship pre-made buildings to the island. I got in touch, explained my situation and they recommended these models: Gable * Salt Box * New Yorker A * New Yorker B * Nantucket A they are all really nice and have options to customize including insulation for 3 seasons (which I would want)  Here’s a video of a New Yorker with a sleeping loft and a deck set up on a slope
Pine Harbor sheds - doesn’t install garages on Martha’s Vineyard but does install sheds.
South Mountain Company designs and builds small sustainable homes on Martha’s Vineyard - I love this garage with a studio above & this little shed they built from salvaged materials. An inquiry to them found them fully booked into 2021 and possibly my budget may be too small for them.
Martha’s Vineyard Post and Beam  again - my budget is probably too small for them to want to do this project
Tom Thumb Sheds - lists a tiny guest house build for $35k
Island Coalition for Tiny Houses
Article mentioning recent conflicts over smaller houses on Island.
Small Houses, Enthusiasts & Makers on Various Platforms
I try to learn from those that are not straight cis white men, I’ve added a * to those that are women/BIPOC/LGBTQ
New England Glamping - lots of area small/tiny houses
Dirt and Glass
Capable Carpenter
Reagan in the Woods*
Cabin Chronicles
Cheap Nordic Houses*
The Winston Homestead*
Anne of All Trades*
RavenHouse design - sells full plans for several small houses
Some pictures of Houses I can visualize on the land
Solviva farm, is on the market in Tisbury, and has several small/tiny houses on the land as well as sustainable systems for all.
Small cabin with downstairs bedroom and lofts
Racoon Retreat*
DIY cabin built on a slope with decks in UK
Honey Crisp Cottage (is 280sq ft)
A 12 X 12 X 12 plywood house with sliding doors
Lots of cabin/shed/tiny house builds on YouTube,
I’m a bit obsessed but I also note the [mostly bearded] white cis masculinity on display here. Certainly none of them are reflexive of the privilege that allowed for them to choose off-grid lifestyles “self-reliance” and “homesteading”
Woodness Goodness cabin build on a slope
Modern Self Reliance -builds a lot of structures in Canada
My Self Reliance log structures mostly using handtools

“I have to guess that he had lost track of the poisoned kit.  He ran several inventories of all the tools for sale, apparently trying to find it.
“Master Selked’s mark had been sloppily placed on the tools and the kit was an obvious second.  I think that’s why Kurti took it.  She used it for mending fabrics in this cabin and kept it on that shelf.  I have to guess that she never used the awl because the fabrics she was working with were light weight.”
Barad leaned over and held out his bed hanging.  “This velvet was worn. She fixed it so that you can’t even see where the wear was.  I love Tanlin but I still miss Kurti.”  He let the hanging fall with a sigh and went back to his narrative.
“Mister Morgu finally figured out that the kit was here and sent Silor to get it.  They went ahead with the plot on their own.  We caught them just minutes after you were poisoned and the sailor from the Grython had taken his prize away.”
Kurin was outraged but not in the way that Barad had expected.  “You mean that you let Kurti use that deadly sewing kit?  Did she really die of lung parasites?  Ord can make you cough blood, too!  I’ve seen it!”
Barad was taken aback.  “She simply took a kit from stores.  I didn’t know it was the poisoned kit!  Yes, she died of lung parasites!  Her infection was well advanced when I gave her the cabin-girl job!  She hated going onto the invalid list and being forced to do no work.  I gave her something that she could do!
“If I could have, I would have traded away this ship to stop her infection!” he paused for breath, then quietly went on.  “I told you that miss her still.  Were there any loophole in the Marriage Laws, I’d have married her, dying or no!
“Tanlin’s awakening just when she did saved my heart and possibly my mind.  At first, the physical resemblance to Kurti drew me to her.  It was quickly obvious that Tanlin is a very different person.  As I helped her to recover (Doctor Corin would probably say ‘got in his way’), I came to love her.”
Kurin softened, “I have seen the medical records and talked to Lady Tanlin.  I was off course.  I apologize.”
“Accepted.”
“You know, Barad, I have to get you off, if it can be done.  I hope for the sake of the Naral fleet that I succeed.”
Barad leaned forward, suddenly intense.  “Why?  We have agreed to submit to fleet justice.  They can do whatever the laws allow.”
Kurin gave him a slightly grim look as she answered, “You have.  Tanlin has.  Your crew will fight to the death to save the both of you, and you have the only war equipped ship in the fleet.  Some, Darkistry among them, regretted that it was necessary to ram the Fauline to get you back.  None of them is sorry that they did it.  They got you back and that is the only thing that matters to them.
“I think that even if you ordered your crew to accept a death verdict that encompassed either you or Lady Tanlin, you’d have a mutiny. They’d fight the Great Dragons themselves to save the two of you.
“If Sula and Huld are still here, they will probably have to sink this ship to stop the destruction that will certainly follow a death warrant or a Scattering order.  That would hurt Sula more than you know.  It would not stop her.  I don’t want to see any of that happen.”
Kurin rose and went to the door.  Before going out, she said, “The good news is that I will be able to represent you, as well as the rest. Now I need to see Purser Morgu and Silor.  Then I can begin drafting cases.”
Tanlin was waiting outside the door.  “T’ank ye,” she said simply. Further down the hallway, she motioned a guard aside from a door. “Morgu’s in ‘ere.  Silor’s been kept in t’e next cabin.  Oi t’ink t’at ye do need guards for t’ese twa.  Oi’ll be ane an’ Kimson ‘ere will be t’other.”  She drew the bolts and lifted the bars that blocked the door from sliding.
Kurin was suddenly struck by a thought.  She stopped Tanlin from sliding the door open.  “Does Mister Morgu know that I am alive?”
“Oi’ve nae seen fit t’ tell him so,” was Tanlin’s reply.
Kurin gave her an impish look.  “Don’t be surprised at how I deal with this interview then.  Wait a bit.”  She ran off toward the galley. It was about twenty minutes before she returned.  She was carrying what looked like two paddle duck eggs, a small packet and a tiny candle in her thinly gloved hands.  One egg was dyed a red color, the other a brownish hue.
Kurin hid them in her sash and conferred with Tanlin and Kimson for a moment.  They entered the cabin, Tanlin and Kimson first.  Tanlin guarded the doorway.  Kimson searched the room, then took his place on the other side of the door.
Morgu asked, “What’s the occasion, Tanlin?”
She held her silence.  A pillar of fine dust appeared inside the doorway. It disappeared with a flash of flame and Kurin was standing quietly in its place.  She just stood and looked at Morgu.  It took him a second to realize just who he was seeing.
“You’re dead!” he recoiled from Kurin but the cabin wall stopped his further retreat.
“I was.  You heard the whales?  I came back.  I always get what I want.” She turned to Tanlin and said, “Not that I gave you much choice, still you have my thanks for coming to the Dragon Sea.  It made coming back much easier.”
Tanlin picked up her cue flawlessly.  In apparent fear she said, “T’ey warned m’ t’at ye were a Dragon-wicken.  Oi didnae believe t’em.” She swallowed hard.  “Oi saw ye die in Sula’s arms.  T’e Fauline told us t’at ye were given t’ Dark Iren t’e next morning.
“We tried t’ get away across t’e pole.  We’ve been trapped ‘ere in t’e Dragon Sea for weeks.  T’e whales came up an’ ye were aboard.  ‘Ow can we get free?”
Morgu listened to the exchange in rising horror.  He had heard those whales through the hull.  Kurin simply said, “I came to hear something that I already know.  To have a question answered — — by him.” She turned and pointed to the cowering Morgu.  “Whose idea was it to poison me and send me to my foster father?”
“Y, y, your foster father?” quavered Morgu.
“Dark Iren, Blind Mecat’s mate.  Mecat is my foster mother.  You know that.  That makes him my foster father.”  She smiled softly, “Now I have parents that I cannot lose.  I have nothing to fear in Dark Iren’s halls.”
She paused and looked slit-eyed at Morgu.  A grim smile playing about her lips, Kurin added, “Unlike some that I know of.”
Almost irrelevantly Kurin said, “Sometimes it pays to learn from Dragons,” She reached out casually and chucked the frightened Morgu under his chin.  He flinched, feeling a hot burning sensation where she had touched his neck, and as her hand came into view he could see a red egg cradled in it.
Kurin displayed the egg to him.  In a much harder voice Kurin said, “This holds your life.  You felt me take it.  If I crush it, you will be gone in great pain.  If you crush it, your life is yours once more. Now think carefully, you have only one chance to tell me the truth that I already know.  I just want to hear it from you.  Truth, and your life is your own.  Lie and die — — — in pain.
“Whose was the idea?  Why me?”
Morgu stared in almost hypnotic fascination at the egg in Kurin’s hand. Frantically, he answered, “It was my idea but Captain Barad went along with it!”
Coldly, she wrapped her fingers about the egg.  “Did he?  All the way?  Did he help to kill me?”
Sweating, Morgu answered, “He backed out at the last minute!  Silor and I killed you!”
“Why?” Kurin asked in a tone so cadaverous that Tanlin was startled.
“Both the Captain and I hate the Longin!  You were vulnerable and your death would hurt the whole ship.”  He quailed, “You can ask the Captain!”
Kurin made a casual gesture as if she were pulling something off a shelf that was not visible to the eye and a brownish egg was in her other hand.  She smiled a truly terrible smile.  “I have already spoken with him.”
Tanlin, sensing a cue, broke in almost frantically, “Barad told ye true! Ye promised t’ give ‘is life back!  Please dinnae kill ‘im!  Oi love ‘im!”  She ended groveling at Kurin’s feet.
“Get up, Tanlin,” said Kurin calmly.  “I just want him to know what it is like to lose his life, if only for a short while.  Here, take it back to him.”  She gave the egg to Tanlin who held it as if it were precious.
To Morgu, Kurin said, “You have spoken truly.  Here is your life back. Just shatter it in your hand.  It will burn as much returning as it did coming out.”
As they left the room, they could hear the sound of an eggshell crushing.
Safely in the hallway, with the door shut, Tanlin leaned back against the far wall and had a fit of giggles.  “‘Ow did ye ever come up wit’ t’at?” she asked when she got her breath back.
Kurin took back ‘Barad’s Life’ and said, “I sell toys and tell stories and entertain children.  Sometimes with slight of hand.” The egg vanished, only to reappear in her other hand.  Then it vanished again and was pulled, with every appearance of effort from her ear.
Kimson was still looking at Kurin in something like fear.  He asked, “how did you appear in the room like that?  I didn’t see you come in at all.”
“Red weed flour dust,” Kurin answered.  “I tossed some into the air and set it off with that little candle.  While you were distracted by the flash, I stepped in.”
“Wye’d ‘e act like ‘t ‘urt wen ye pulled ‘is ‘life’ out o’ ‘is neck?” Tanlin asked.
“Because it did,” Kurin explained.  “While I was blowing out and dying these eggs, I rubbed hot sauce base on the outside of the index fingers of my gloves.  Before I closed the holes in the ends of the eggs I put some of the hot sauce base inside each one.”
“So. . .’is ‘life’ ‘urt ‘is ‘and t’e same way ‘goin’ in’ as ‘t did ‘goin’ out’?” Tanlin finished.  “A lovely touch.”
“You are a fast study yourself,” Kurin complimented.  “Your trapped here for weeks line and that bit of terror for Barad’s life made the whole thing live.  You would have been a good actress.”
Seeing Tanlin’s expression of hurt mixed with confusion and anger, Kurin said, “I’m not sure how I’ve offended you but I did not mean to.  Don’t you have entertainments and plays in the Arrakan fleet?”
Confusion clearing up, Tanlin replied, “Certain we do.  T’at’s respectable mummin’.  Mumming’s fun an’ ‘elps t’e small fry t’ learn t’eir ‘istory an’ Dragon legends.  Actors are crew ‘oo lie an’ cheat.”
“Then what I wanted to say was that you’d have made a great mummer.  OK?”
“Now t’at Oi ‘ave yer drift, aye,” Tanlin agreed smile returning. “Are we goin’ t’ play t’e same trick on Silor?”

Buying a new boat:
Are you planning on purchasing a new boat? Whether you are a first time boat owner, or have been navigating the waters for decades, there are a few steps you should take. As exciting as it is; buying a new boat is not something that you should just jump into.
You need to decide which boat is right for you and your needs. Take into consideration what you will be using the boat for, who will be going with you, and where you will be taking your boat. You can find this information buy reading articles about different types of boats, researching boating websites, and looking through boat review magazines. Marine supplies  Boat shows are an excellent way to learn about boat styles, sizes, engines and equipment. Reading opinions and experiences that other people have with boats may sway your decision or give you ideas.
What size should I get?
Deciding what size boat you need is important. You do not want to get a boat that is too small for the intended use, or one that is too big for just taking you fishing. Bigger boats will usually have more amenities such as cabins, toilets, and galleys. However, this means that there are more systems that need to be understood and maintained. Some boats are too big to be trailered, which leads to transportation issues. They will also take more gas to operate.
New or Used?
Decide whether you want a boat that has never hit the water or one that has had a little experience. Buying both new and used boats has its pros and cons, like anything else. Whether you are buying new or used; shop around before making your big purchase.
If you buy a new boat, you know that it does not already have problems or repairs that need to be made. If anything goes wrong with the boat once you own it, it is under warranty. Buying new also allows you to custom order according to your specific needs and wants. There are financing options when buying a new boat, which allows for better interest rates and deals. If you buy new, make sure that you address any problems that come up while the warranty is still in effect.
If it is a seasoned boat that you are looking for; than buying used is your best option. Used boats are good for boaters who are not sure what they want to do on the boat. If you are on a budget, buying used in less expensive than new. You may not find exactly what you want in a used boat, which leads to added expenses to customize later. Before buying your used boat, get a marine survey and have the boat inspected. This will check for structural damage or mechanical problems that the owner failed to mention, or may not have known about. They will also be able to detect whether the boat will need repair in the near future. With this information you can make an educated decision on whether buying used will really save you more money.
Make sure that the dealer you are buying your boat from is reputable. Checking around and asking advice will only help you in the long run. It is very important to check the dealer/seller for proof of ownership. You do not want to buy a boat that is stolen. If you feel as though you need help researching and purchasing your boat, you may want to hire a yacht broker. They will help you determine which boat is best for you, negotiate deals and arrange financing.
Test Drive:
Like a car, a boat should also be taken for a test drive. Once you think you have found the boat that you would like to purchase, it is a good idea to see how it handles on the water. Here you can see if you enjoy the way that it rides, and if it is right for you. There are certain tests that you should do while out on the water. Check to the engine to see if they are warm before turning on the ignition. If it is, the owner may have started it up prior to your arrival. This would be done to hide the fact that the boat may have trouble starting. The bilge should be checked at the beginning and end of the test drive for any oil leaks. While in the dock, maneuver the boat around in forward and reverse to check for response time. Check for bow steering while at slow speeds, and record how long it takes the boat to plane at high speeds. Take several turns; wide and tight at various speeds. If the bow of the boat bounces on straight runs, adjusting the trim should be able to fix the problem. Check to see how smoothly the boat handles waves and wakes. You do not want side to side rolling. You should also be observing how well the gauges and instruments are working, as well as the oil pressure. The engine should be run long enough to check for overheating.
Purchasing the boat:
Make sure to check around for prices and follow blue book pricing guides. This will help you negotiate the best price for your boat. Once you have the price you are satisfied with, have the owner put it in writing. This will eliminate any problems with price changes before the sale is complete. This agreement should also list terms, as well as the accessories that are included in the price. If you are buying a new boat, contact several lenders to get the best deal on financing.
A few more things after the purchase:
It is a good idea to take a boating safety course. Even if you are familiar with the water, and have been on numerous boats in the past; you should take the course. There are safely tips to follow to make sure that you have a fun and safe summer on your boat.
You are now the proud owner of a boat that is new to you. When insuring your boat, it is very important to include the survey and inspection if you have one. Register your boat and apply for a new registration sticker. Title your boat in your own name; if it was previously owned it will need to be re-titled. Pay your sales taxes. Get your boat inspected by the local Coast Guard and display the sticker on the port side window.
Preparing yourself by setting a budget is important. Owning a boat can get expensive. Plan out what added expenses you feel are necessary for your boat, and don't forget the cost of fuel. Following money saving tips will help you stick to your budget.
If you are not an experienced boater, your first trip on the water should be with one. They can show you helpful things like turns, docking and trailering. They will help you to feel more comfortable and confident enough to be on your own. Make sure you are equipped with the necessities. Keep a tool kit, first aid kit, documentation, light bulbs, fuses and manuals on board.

What Is Country daily Life?
Self decorating homes for holidays! I loved the holiday stuff package. however it is annoying to re-decorate for every holiday, especially seeing how the season didn't last long at all in light and portable quirky seasons pack. It'd be neat making use of each season change, my trees automatically have lights on them, that will appear reduced when the time of year changes.

A 2019 CX-3 Touring Review: Mazda Dealers Perth Advice
When they look for a Mazda for sale, Perth drivers have an extensive stable of vehicles to choose from. Your local Mazda dealership will soon have the 2019 CX-3 Touring in stock. This Mazda CX-3 package adds some very nice extras for the modest premium paid, and it's well worth a look if you're already considering a CX-3 as your next purchase. Let's take a closer look at the Mazda CX-3 Touring and see what it has to offer.
At a Glance
The Mazda CX-3 Touring has the same premium build quality found on the impressive base model. The cabin has a very upmarket feel, and the engine performs better than you might expect at this generous price point. The engine generates 110 kW of power, the CO2 emissions are 146g, and the fuel economy is 6.3L/100km combined. The CX-3 Touring is packed with technology; it has plenty of safety kit and a 5 star ANCAP safety rating. Some drivers may not like the tighter spaces on the back seat, and the 2.0L engine can be a little noisy at high revs. Sadly, there is still no support in place for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay users.
The 2019 Mazda CX-3 Touring
Essentially, what we have here is a new and updated CX-3, which is more of an upgrade than a fresh release. This is designed to keep the CX-3 competitive in a crossover market that is now full of competitors. In fact, the crossover segment is currently the fastest growing part of the entire Australian car sales market. The Mazda CX-3 is a big player; this model is consistently one of the top three crossover sellers in this relatively new small SUV class of car. So, it's essential that Mazda get this right, the youth orientated aesthetic appeal and equipment levels have to deliver.
For this 2019 refresh, Mazda has adding a host of new features, such as tweaks for the petrol and turbo diesel powertrains, an updated interior, improved trim levels, a new grille insert and a revised LED tail light for better specified models
The Mazda CX-3 Touring reviewed here has a 2.0L petrol engine and front wheel drive. The engine is paired with a six speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment across the range includes a 7" MZD Connect infotainment system, satellite navigation, auto folding heated wing mirrors, a DAB+ digital radio, a six speaker audio system, cruise control, Bluetooth and audio streaming, keyless entry and push button starting.
The only after cost option available is a choice of two special paint types, and if you want more, you will need to splurge on a better specified model. A better specified variant would have features, such as front and rear LED lights, a heads up display system, Maztex or cloth upholstery and 18" alloy wheels.
If they are looking for local Mazda dealers, Perth based drivers should visit Mandurah Mazda to arrange a no obligation test drive today.

New to the story?  Read from the beginning.  PART 1 is here
///////////////////////
Tanlin’s face fell.  In a sad soft voice she said, “Oi knew t’at ye’d ask.  Oi’ll give ye t’e facts t’at Oi know.  Ye willnae like w’at Oi’m about t’ tell ye.  Ot least a few ot’ers will tell parts o’ ‘t as well.  Ye’ll ‘ave t’ decide i’ ye’ve been told true.” Dragons forgive m’.  Oi’ll tell ‘er nae lie but Oi must save m’ Barad at any cost! She began, carefully editing Barad’s early involvement in the plot.
“T’ere wa’ a plot t’ kill ye.  T’was hatched only a few doors down t’e passage in Mister Morgu’s cabin.  ‘E wa’ our Purser an’ ‘e ‘ates t’e Longin.  T’was ‘e t’at persuaded Barad t’ buy t’e Ord …”
She went on, fearful of the effect that her account was having on Kurin. So much depended on the goodwill of this child.  No, not really a child, just young.  Before the fleet she was legally an adult because of her skills accomplishments.
There was good reason for her fear.  Kurin heard of the apparent cold blooded murder of Chena and possibly Merk with horror and pity.  She did not want to face this.  She wanted to run and hide, curled around her knotted stomach.  Only her need to know the truth kept her in the same cabin with this story.
Tanlin’s control broke down when she got to Silor’s part. She turned in her chair and gestured at the cabin door, her voice catching as she said, “Ot t’e Gat’ering, only a day before ye were poisoned, Oi met Silor just ootside t’is door.  ‘E wa’ runnin’ an errand for Mister Morgu.  T’was ‘im t’at took t’e kit.”
She hid her face and her voice was muffled and she wept as she said, “A moment earlier!  Just a moment earlier an’ Oi’d ‘ave caught ‘im in our cabin!  Nae bit o’ t’is wad ‘ave ‘appened i’ Oi’d been a moment earlier!”
Kurin, remembering the ghastly accusations of her own mother as she sank into madness, could well guess the kind of guilt feelings that Tanlin was experiencing.  The screaming shade of her mother accusing her of murdering her father still haunted her dreams.  She leaned forward, reaching through her own revulsion at the unfolding tale, and laid a comforting hand on Tanlin’s arm.  The contact helped Tanlin to get a grip on herself.  She looked thankfully at Kurin and went on.
Kurin heard the events at the Gathering and after.  Even though she had already heard that the Fauline had been rammed, she got the tale again.  This time it included what had happened aboard the Fauline as well as the rest of the events.  She heard, for the first time, how the Grandalor had got north undetected by riding in the eye of the Coriolis storm.
Kurin sat, stunned by the tale.  Shakily she asked, “That’s it?  No dodge?  No it was an accident or a prank gone awry?  Just, somebody really tried to kill me, not even because they hated me?  Just to hurt my ship?”
Tanlin sat slumped in her chair, looking ill.  We’ve lost.  She’ll nae help us now, she thought.  She responded dully, “In Mister Morgu’s case, Aye.  In Silor’s case, nae.  ‘E ‘ates ye an’ blames all o’ ‘is ill fortune an’ failings on ye.  Oi t’ink, from talking wit’ ‘im, t’at ‘e’s mad, at least w’ere ye are concerned.
“Bot’ ‘e an’ Mister Morgu ‘ave been confined since we caught t’em. Nane ‘as spoken t’ t’em since, except for m’sel’.  I talked t’ each o’ t’em separately t’ get t’e facts t’at Oi ‘ad t’ tell ye.”
Kurin curled up into a ball in her chair and sat, eyes closed, stomach knotted.  Tanlin looked despairingly across at Kurin.  She felt both guilt and sorrow that she’d caused such pain in one so young. Tanlin crossed the space between them and knelt where she could gather the hurting Kurin into her arms.
Kurin, startled, looked at her face.  Gray eyes in pain met gray eyes in despair.  Kurin uncurled enough to wrap an arm about Tanlin as well. For a few minutes they just sat and comforted each other.
Kurin broke the hug first and retreated to her chair, curled about her pain.  She looked at Tanlin, and tilted her head regarding the woman shrewdly.  Almost dismissively she said, “This is just pain.  It was hard to hear, that’s all.  I half expected something like that story.  I came here because of those Great Law violations. Running off because something’s difficult isn’t my way.
“Is there anything else that I should know about?”
“T’ere’s a matter t’at ye should know from m’,” said Tanlin, eager to change the subject, hope flaring.  “T’e counterfeit scrip t’at ‘as plagued yer last few Gat’erings originated on t’is ship. Barad an’ Mister Morgu conspired toget’er on t’at.  T’ere are many ‘oo were guilty o’ ‘elping t’ make or pass ‘t.”
“I see,” said Kurin.  She wrapped white hair about several fingers as she thought.  Concentration helped her to ignore the pain knotting her stomach.  She remembered some things that both Alor and Captain Mord had complained of and got an impish grin.  “I think that I have an idea about how to deal with that little problem.”
She turned serious again and said grimly, “There’s another problem that might not be so easy, though.  The Grandalor has an ominous reputation.  There are up to several hundred disappearances, perhaps murders.  Somehow they will have to be dealt with.”
This time it was Tanlin who grinned.  She raised her left index finger and chuckled around the stone of fear in her heart, “T’ey never ‘appened.  Nae even ane.”
“Then what did happen to all those people?” asked Kurin skeptically.
Tanlin snorted in amusement and replied, “Indentures.  Barad brokered t’eir indenture sales in t’e Arraken fleet.  T’e ‘ule ship kept t’e secret as a groit joke on t’e Naral fleet.  T’ere were nae mysterious disappearances.  Tis all in t’e Log an’ accounts.”
Angrily, Kurin started to say, “That’s a violation of the First Great Law! The sale of indentures is slavery!”
Tanlin held up a hand to stem the clearly expected outburst from Kurin. Calmly she explained, “Oi know t’e views o’ t’e Naral fleet on t’e matter.  As indenture’s practiced in t’e Arrakan fleet tis nae slavery nae does ‘t violate t’e Forst Groit Law.  Tis t’e ‘art o’ t’e Arrakan system o’ education.  Yer apprenticeship system comes closer t’ slavery t’an our indenture system.”
Kurin leaned forward curiously, listening carefully as Tanlin went on, “Barad discovered ‘ow our education system worked.  ‘E made yer castoffs int’ students t’at our fleet paid ‘igh prices for. Wen t’e Princamorn wa’ wrecked, we were on our way t’ meet Barad an’ pick up t’e latest crop o’ indentures.”
“Ye ‘ad t’ know about t’e indenture sales.  T’ey’re sure t’ try t’ attack us wit’ t’em.  T’e sales were legal in our fleet an’ dune in our territory.  T’e T’ird Groit Law’s all t’e defense m’ Barad needs.”
Tanlin regarded Kurin soberly for a few moments.  She’s so small.  Can she truly save us?  Barad trusts ‘er an’ t’ere’s few enow ‘e does.  She said quietly, “T’e Grandalor’s books, Logs an’ all else wit’ nut’in’ an’ nane ‘eld bock, is open t’ ye. Ask anyt’ing.  I’ we know t’e answer, tis yers.  Oi’ve ordered t’at t’ere’s t’ be nut’in’ ‘idden from ye.”
Earnestly, Tanlin requested, “Study t’e case forst, t’en answer ane quest’n.  Will ye please put our case before t’e Naral fleet?”
When Kurin did not answer immediately, Tanlin added, a little bitterly, “We’ve little ot’er ‘ope o’ gettin’ justice. Remember, nae even ye quest’ned t’e violations o’ law, bot’ Groit an’ fleet, t’at were dune t’ us.  Ye ‘ave t’eir respect an’ ye were t’e victim o’ t’e assault.  T’ey’ll listen t’ ye.”
Kurin thought I’ve never refused a challenge before.  I wonder what Cat would say about me defending Barad?  Still, it’s the biggest responsibility I’ve ever faced.  She shuddered a little as she pondered, Lenai and Darkistry are wounded and in sickbay.  Macoul is dead.  Just to get me here.  I can’t let them down.
Tanlin saw Kurin’s small shudder and feared the worst.
Clearly and firmly Kurin said, “I’ve already made up my mind.  I don’t need to think it through any further.”
Tanlin’s face fell, sure that she had lost.  Ship, love, friends and all would die.  Despair provided the darkness that the unsetting arctic sun in the ports could not.  Determination settled over her features.  Ice like the pack not far north wrapped her heart.  She would have to save her folk — — if she could.  She knew too well, from Barad’s books, the deadly skills of those directing the hunt to the south of them.
She heard her own voice as if it were through a bulkhead, remote from what she was saying, “Oi promised ye safe conduct.  Oi’m sorry t’at we took ye so far for naught.  We’ll feed ye an’ let ye rest.  Tomorrow we’ll return ye t’ t’e Longin.
“We’ll nae be Scattered an’ executed by Council orders.  We’ll try t’ break-oot for t’e Arrakan fleet.  T’ey’ll give us a fair trial wen t’ey ‘ear o’ the Groit Law violations.  We’ll die fightin’ i’ we cannae escape.
“Oi ‘ope t’at we dinnae have t’ sink any ships doin’ ‘t.”
Appalled, Kurin exclaimed, “No!  I meant that I will be your advocate! I do have to study the case but not to make up my mind.  You were wronged.  I don’t know if I can save your crew but I have to try.”
Tanlin’s hardness turned to joy in an instant.  “Oi know t’at ye’ll do yer best an’ t’at yer best’s very good indeed.”

This looks similar to the boat that Jen and Chris wrote In it's a little bit older and it is a speed boat versus the lander The landing boat they have rode in and it really I call it a skiff but it's a landing boat it's really a big skiff for yacht and we sell skiffs like the one that they were in and from Chris crafts and they're authentic okay they are made of wood and you do go to and from your yacht with it it's very respected that's the way it's done they say a lot of times and Chris Craft is very respected brand it really is it's his dad's design and usually it comes from him Chris and Hera and yeah personally since design and her did the oak and came up with any Oakley for one of them.
Starting price for the 15 ft Chris Craft Open boat bowrider / Fisher is approximately $10,000
Starting price for the 19 ft Chris Craft open boat rider Fisher is approximately $15,000 of course fully assembled trailer sold separately
Starting price for the 24 ft Chris Craft open boat rider Fisher is approximately $20,000
Starting price for the 35 ft Chris Craft open boat rider Fisher and you want a longer one for Open water is approximately $30,000
Add approximately $5,000 to each for the covered boat except for the 24 which you would add 7 or so thousand and the 35 you would add $8,000 and that's for a full cuddy cabin kitchenette toilet shower generator on each and these boats are very nice they are high quality
Starting price on the 50 ft Chris Craft yacht is $80,000
Her son says he could live on a 50 quite easily and he can afford it in the slip wouldn't be that much and it's true but down here he might not want to and they really have to work on protecting a cove kind of tough in a storm like that though but the boats down here at fisherman's Pier did very well only a few of them were slightly damaged and also down more in East they were fine at the convention center
Starting price of the 70 ft Chris Craft yacht is $120,000 and that is Frieght on board sales shop not delivered delivery at about $2,000 and cost of fuel which is about $2,000
Starting price of the 150 ft Chris Craft yacht is $250,000. These are gasoline-powered boats none of them are diesel and they're less expensive if you're wondering why it's so much less and Diesel are very expensive motors they add about $50,000 to each and the going rate for 150 ft yacht is around 390,000 gas and the reason why it's less expensive is because our stuff cost us to make because we make volume and we make it right the first time and it's making cheap stuff and sometimes harder and a sun can attest if you try and cheap on a deck it takes you longer you make a wood deck for someone all the wood splits it's a real pain you might do some wood and it goes together and a couple hours versus a day and that's the way it is with better material you drill it and you make the threads and it goes in doesn't and nothing happens it's like a machined it machine hole so that's the way it is and it's much faster to assemble and our systems are much faster in assembly than yours are practically handmade and ours are automated with people as well the system is very fast and it's an assembly line it's a huge difference your boats are builds they're not assembly line even though they are handcrafted they called handcrafted meaning that the first boat was built by hand and the machines are adapted to how it's how it's made and how it comes out it's not me to be machined it's made to be handcrafted.
Boat comes with a guest kit of the Coast guard kit and safety kit as you go up in size they become more generous and yes from the 24 forward it's the epub and a small inflating rescue raft yeah it's come with a full-blown yes can and you guys know what that is and plus they come with other items and some would call them Cuban cigars others call them regular cigars that they say are Cuban and that's what they come with and other things too in the gift package are real Tony Bahama silk Hawaiian shirts and their Hawaiian shirts like our son had because his dad wore those and his mom were the darker ones the blue ones and she had stuff like it. And there's a lot of other stuff that come with it comes with it and it's like a little mini bar set up you're you're afraid of stocks with the mini bar setup a bunch of nips and some wine and some other drinks that are in there when it arrives and other niceities that you'll see. We don't have a fishing vessel but there are options to outfit it with real fishing equipment. The seat can come in and out often on the vessel and I can still weigh on board there's a couple versions and it's still available for the large power yard and each of the odds above well I should say 70 and above those two really 70 and 150 come with a skiff location and it's an upgrade to get the landing vote for both but both come with the standard skiff and it is wooden it's just smaller and it's motorized and it's considered the life raft it has foam inside and you can't see it and it goes pretty far and there's a set of orders too and the amount on it and he's adding a safety feature and it will be hidden it's a small sale 12 ft high for your safety skiff and we're getting phone calls from all over the world now literally the the whole thing lit up it's a manual snapdevit or electric no it's manual and or electric mean you can use the crank or the electric version and the crank will move you have to have it clear now the phone's lit up for real and it goes in a nice place it looks like a real yacht kind of looks like the Titanic it has that look and people see it too and they buy it because of that.
And Arnold and deeds designed the Titanic no it was Arnold and d and Carmen and yes Ken AKA Paul Doucette
So yes his father-in-law in this case what color he wants for the yacht he says what color do they come in he says it must be white and it says there it is it's white but no it comes in different colors we have a selection there are three standard colors it's the blue and the red and the white and that's what it is and he says I want the blue and we're going to send it over Ken so you better be ready to live in the water says I am ready but fit in lake Okeechobee yes but you won't be able to go very far it's straight across it more or less and then straight back says I can run booze cruises for money that's right
Thor Freya
You have a vision of something stupid happening because of that here isn't a nutshell these boats are beautiful they're very pretty and they run very well and Arnie was no dummy but we helped him with the engineering and he did some of it and his son did a lot of it believe it or not it was passed back and Old iron size is our son's work too and Hera our daughter and my personal granddaughter what a beautiful piece of work you should see it when it's blue it's absolutely fantastic
Zig Zag
There seem to be some bugs bothering him after they sprayed and some probably came in and ran from it and that's it but really what a nice vessel I am proud to be the one doing this and I'm glad you selected me and I am glad I selected myself and I didn't know which brand and this is an honor I can see that this is an amazing thing for a lot of people because that was a famous line that canard line long time ago and it was built by he himself who's sitting there and they're all talking about the Titanic and here's the guy who designed it partially and built it and yes my father and mother were designing it too in that time with characters like myself and he's an I said you're right there to designing it, it says the cabin that you're still the same and no one's gotten to you yet. And okay nice cheap trick but I get it. It's a lot of fun now he says people are paying attention to him
