Okay someone hear me out, im not a good writer but i was listening to one of my new favorite songs. Its Slow It Down by Benson Boone. And i feel like some of the lyrics could be a GREAT fic to make about tommy and buck😭 im too shy to ask anyone so ima just put it out there and hope some takes the inspiration and makes it! I just think its perfect for them. Buck was in his head for minute before he decided he just wants tommy and he doesnt care and tommy wants to take it slow with him regardless because he knows its his first relationship. Anywayyyys, if anyone makes this l I’ll cherish it forever!

Busy

I’ve been busy,

I hear myself say.

But I’m not exactly sure with what,

Just the hectic noise of day to day.

The mental load is heavy

Have I completed everything I said?

Did I transfer the money?

Have we got milk and bread?

Did I order the gift online?

Did I return that note?

Did I send a thoughtful message?

Don’t forget to vote.

Did I sign up to the loyalty program?

Did I plan the next holiday?

Did I check in with family?

Did I remember to do all that I say?

Did I follow a skin routine?

Don’t forget to exercise too!

Be a good friend, mother and wife,

Is the car registration due?

Don’t forget your self care!

It feels like another box to tick.

Another thing to add to the mental load.

It makes my heart rate go quick.

When did life get so busy?

When did we stop the pause.

When did our mental health become secondary to checklists?

When did we lose sight of our lives cause?

So I’m unsubscribing from the unnecessary do lists,

I’m claiming back time for my soul.

I’m letting go of busy,

It’s simply not worth the toll.
