i just finished watching buffy s1-s7 for the first time and like. s6 is good. not perfect, but still by beets-are-not-green

THE YVES JUMPSCARE IN UR MONTGOMERY POST...... 😭😭 its so funny to think about those two existing in the same universe, their partners sharing similar circumstances (weirdo boyfriends that literally never leave their side) without even knowing😞💔 also not just the similarities in their yans but the differences perhaps making them wonder if the grass is greener on the other side, montgomery's partner wishing for someone like yves and vice versa (if yves hasn't already brainwashed them into never having those thoughts in the first place ofc)

Perhaps, depends on what you like, if you liked kicked loser puppies then Montgomery is your best choice, but if you prefer more comfortable living, youd be better off choosing Yves

I personally prefer Yves by a LOT because mans a machine who is super logical and can handle shit, even tho he has his own identity he does mold himself into someone u like to the best of his abilities- just the only form he cannot take is that of Montgomery because he thinks our sad wet meow meow is too pathetic for anyone to emulate

another massive difference between yves and our boy Montgomery here is that, Yves can fit into the country and farming lifestyle, but Monty CAN'T fit into the city life. Like Yves is not afraid to get dirty and u would've thought he grew up in a farm by the way he herd pigs sheep n chickens, how he has no disgust whatsoever on his face when he plunged his arm all the way up to the shoulder, into a cow's asshole to check up on the pregnancy, he isn't squeamish at all , he might even seem like the world's best farmer, either for animals or plants

The top levels of kythons are the slaymasters and the slaughterkings. Most kythons finish their evolution at the adult stage, but very rarely they can grow further, mutating into much larger and greater threats.

Slaymasters almost revert somewhat, losing their legs and taking on a serpentine lower body. They maintain their four deadly forelimbs however, and their poison becomes even more deadly than that of the adults. Their biggest change however is developing powerful mental abilities that can twist reality around themselves somewhat, either disrupting enemies or enhancing the slaymaster's defenses. They rules over kython nests that lack slaughterkings, as the most powerful kython in the area, and are far more emotional and brutal killers than their lesser kin. Even adult kythons seem to purely hunt for nutrients or to defend their nest. Slaymasters will draw out the kill, and go on unnecessary raids just to satisfy their bloodlust.

Slaughterkings are a recent development in kython evolution, and are even larger than the slaymasters. This size makes them far more deadly, but also makes them slower. They can't make the same barrage of claw strikes that smaller and more agile kythons can, instead just sweeping their limbs in great, rending strikes that create openings for them to lunge in with their massive, unhinged jaw. They are even more aggressive than the slaymasters, evolving out of the most ill tempered and vicious kythons. A slaughterking's presence inspires the nest to launch many unnecessary attacks on the surrounding area, slaughtering anything they see. This inevitably draws retaliation, but the slaughterking relishes this challenge, and few are truly capable of bringing down such a monster. Especially with an army of fodder backing it up.

Slaymasters and slaughterkings are also often accompanied by impalers, adult kythons that have evolved spines from the center of their clawed forelimbs. These are double-strength kython adults that deal 18 damage with their bite, 8 damage with their claws, and have the following attack:

[Special Trigger] Impaling Spikes +11 vs. AC - 38 damage and the kython can't make any claw attacks this turn. Counter Charge: When an enemy moves to engage the kython while it’s unengaged, it can meet that enemy halfway and make an impaling spikes attack as an interrupt action before the target’s attack. Furious Charge: If the kython is unengaged and moves to engage an enemy, it can make an impaling spikes attack as a standard action.

If you're using kython weapon nastier specials, an impaler gains a kython weapon on a d20 roll of 11+, and a slaymaster has a weapon on a 3+. Slaughterkings always have a kython weapon, and may have a second if you want them to be extra vicious.

Kython Slaymaster  Large 7th level wrecker [aberration]  Initiative: +11 Bite +12 vs. AC - 25 damage. Natural Even Hit: The target also takes 10 poison damage. Claw +12 vs. AC - 10 damage, and the slaymaster gains a cumulative +2 bonus to attack rolls against the same target this turn with its bite attack. Quick Use: 2/round, as a quick action. Dual Hit: If both claw attacks hit during the same turn, the slaymaster can make a tail lash attack as a free action this turn. [Special Trigger] Tail Lash +12 vs. AC - 15 damage. Natural Even Hit: The slaymaster can grab the target. While the slaymaster is grabbing a creature, the only legal target for its tail lash attack is the grabbed creature. Quick Use: 1/round, as a quick action, if the slaymaster started its turn grabbing the target. Disruption Field: As a quick action, the slaymaster can activate its disruption field. While the field is active, nearby enemies take a -1 penalty to attack rolls and saving throws. This effect lasts until the slaymaster takes 50 or more damage from a single source, or it activates enhanced defenses. Enhanced Defenses: As a quick action, the slaymaster can activate its enhanced defenses. While this is active, the slaymaster gains a +1 bonus to all defenses and to saving throws. This effect lasts until the slaymaster takes 50 or more damage from a single source, or it activates disruption field. AC 22 PD 21 MD 17 HP 172

Kython Slaughterking  Large 8th level wrecker [aberration]  Initiative: +13 Massive Claws +13 vs. AC (2 attacks) - 25 damage. Dual Hit: If both claws hit during the same turn, the slaughterking can make a gigantic jaw attack during its next turn as a standard action. Miss: 15 damage. [Special Trigger] Gigantic Jaw +13 vs. PD - 75 damage. Natural Even Hit: The target also takes 30 poison damage. Miss: 35 damage. R: Poison Spray +13 vs. PD (one nearby enemy) - 35 poison damage, and one enemy engaged with the target takes 15 poison damage. Natural Even Hit: The target also takes 15 ongoing poison damage. Disruption Field: As a quick action, the slaughterking can activate its disruption field. While the field is active, nearby enemies take a -2 penalty to attack rolls and saving throws. This effect lasts until the slaughterking takes 70 or more damage from a single source, or it activates enhanced defenses. Enhanced Defenses: As a quick action, the slaughterking can activate its enhanced defenses. While this is active, the slaughterking gains a +2 bonus to all defenses and to saving throws. This effect lasts until the slaughterking takes 70 or more damage from a single source, or it activates disruption field. So, Captain Britain used to have a villain named Slaymaster.

I say used to because the dude made the mistake of saying “you have not the strength to kill” to the dude whose sister he just blinded who is built like a brick shit house and is standing over him holding a piece of rubble the size of a Buick.

if a supervillain said "you wont kill me thatd make you just like me" i would simply say "no it wouldnt id be saving millions of people" and the villain would say "but youd be dooming yourself. could you really live knowing youre a killer" and id say "well id certainly have trouble. ill probably be very sad about it. definitely a lot to unpack" and theyd say "so you wont do it" and id say "oh no im still gonna" and theyd say "what" and id say "youre a supervillain responsible for countless deaths and yet here you are desperately trying to bargain for your life. you want to live. which means you can easily live with yourself after being responsible for countless deaths. i, on the other hand, will at the very least have tremendous difficulty with even killing just one person and at worst might just jump out a window right after i do it. the very nature of this whole conversation about whether we are the same has proven to me we are very much not the same and i am certain killing you to save millions is the morally correct decision here" and theyd say "what" and id say "get killed idiot"

September 21st - Slaymaster

The villain known as Slaymaster had been a master assassin and expert in numerous styles of martial arts and weaponry. He had a highly macabre sense of humor, killing his victims in a fashion that he found to be ironic or humorous. Slaymaster was contracted by The Vixen to take out Captain Britain thus beginning a longstanding rivalry between the two. After numerous battles, Slaymaster attempted to strike at his nemesis by going after Captain Britain’s sister, Betsy Braddock. Betsy was severely injured causing Captain Britain to fly into a rage and he killed Slaymaster, ending the threat of him once and for all. The villain first appeared in Super Spider-Man & Captain Britain #243.
