i started rewatching the dragon prince in anticipation for the new season next month and suddenly i have my own characters lol. I really just wanted to design a couple elves based on the different primal sources so i started with the stars, moon and sky <3 also messy terry and lujanne doodles, they are some of my favorite side characters

idk if yall will ever see them again but go watch the dragon prince cause it's really fun and i love all the characters sm 💜💜💜💜 Also remember to stay hydrated, especially if you're somewhere hot!!!!

I decided to do a post to ideas and prompts I have or recieved of the dragon prince, so people might decide to write them. Feel free to use them. It would be nice to get credit or message if you do use them but it's not necessary. If you have other ideas write me in the comments or in a message and I might add them to this list. If you do write a fic for one of this prompts and you'll send it to me I'll add a link to it in the post. The ideas are plot based and not shipping based and that the point of all the prompts.

So are The elves born with their markings or are they tattooed? And if they are, how do they decide what markings to give them? Last question, can non-elves get markings?

List of non binary characters in the dragon prince

I just decided to do this list because many people don't know about the other non binary characters besides Kazi and we have seven of them.

Hc: Elves have heightened senses

E.g:

Earthblood elves have heightened touch (so, idk how to explain but they sort of have heightened reactions to textures and stuff)

Skywing elves have a heightened sense of hearing

Sunfire elves have a heightened sense of smell

Startouch elves have a greater sense of taste

Moonshadow elves have a better sense of sight (so... are less likely to have bad eyesight and can naturally see things far away)

Tidebound elves have the best sense of thermoception (the ability to sense heat and cold, this just makes sense to me)

These make sense to me but please feel free to add your own thoughts/changes to this

Sky Meets Stars (The Origin of Antares)

A god gazed down at the world below

The mortal realm of finite things,

And beheld amidst the virgin snow,

A slim blue elf with scarlet wings.

She danced upon the frosty air,

Smiling,flitting to and fro,

As a butterfly given elven form.

Ran a hand through raven hair,

And one over her broken horn.

He watched in his cage as she soared away,

Until then dawned his long-awaited day,

His stars aligned,his feet touched earth.

He walked away ,in hopeful search.

He followed the sounds of speech and laughter,

And saw the bright lanterns strung above.

There danced again the songbird elf,

Who shone with joy,with hope,with love.

She took fright at the sight

Of an elf from the stars,

And the party ceased,all held their breath.

They feared him like a cosmic Death,

Thinking he'd come to pass the gods' judgment.

All stood still as if entranced.

But he smiled,he waved,and shook his head.

He'd only come to join the dance .

The songbird and the bright new star

Danced on and on,throughout the night .

She gathered her things to head for home,

And spread her lovely deep-red wings,

But then, a hand grasped her own.

It was the star,

No longer content with his empty realm

Of blackness and undying things.

They flew home together,

For his home now lay with her.

The seasons passed,until she saw

In utter shock,her belly's swell.

She called him with an elated yell,

And when he saw her star within,

His face glowed with a joyful grin.

Together they would always be;

Two soulmates,and now a family.

Thus was born Antares,

Child of the Sky and the Stars...

Vitiligo in the Dragon Prince

So, with season 6 we have now two characters with vitiligo in the dragon prince universe. I don't think I saw characters with vitiligo in media before so I think it's nice the dragon prince has two of them.
