Another MM/EF au

EF au where, after the events of Home Sweet Home, Skylar is naturally not okay with leaving her planet to fight its war without her and asks her boys to abandon their hunt and go with her.

It’s emotional and raw because they all want to find the ones responsible, but Skylar is distraught and can’t face the war alone, and having outsiders fight with them may prove that there’s greatness beyond their race!

Oliver surprisingly is the hardest to convince, but a late night heart to heart on the balcony brings them all closer and they make an agreement to go and try to set things right, and that they would come home after.

Chase and Bree aren’t the happiest, but they agree that it’s their decision and Chase helps modify the atmospheric regulator patches for long term use and durability, it is a tearful goodbye.

And then the three face a war they’re too young for but too old to ignore, they grow closer and ignite a movement to squash the false rebellion, and they become known across Caldera and the greater universe as war heroes.

In short, the idea of being okay with your home devolving into war because you have a new home baffles me. She already lost one home, I think she’d do anything to save her other one.

Also I didn’t like giving Bree powers. So retcon that. She’s perfect as she is.

this whole scene is so silly to me. i know it was meant to be funny but the idea that kaz, who if i remember correctly has like 50 siblings, has no idea how to act around a baby is so odd. you’re telling me that this boy who would have done anything for his baby brother to think he was cool is actually an absolute goof with kids? you’re telling me that chase davenport, smartest man in the world, gave his all when doing one of those fake baby assignments, doesn’t know how to pick up a baby? also i love how william unger was a father in real life for pretty much the entirety of the show, he actually had to go out of his way to pretend like he knew nothing about kids.

I was doing a little rewatch of TWD (as every sane individual does) and here is how I think Lab Rats characters would be like in a zombie apocalypse. God, this is so niche.

Donald Davenport: would not survive, too high maintenance, would lock himself in the lab and eventually run out of food OR would get bit by a walker that sneaks up on him.

Tasha Davenport: probably would adapt eventually but in the way that either Michonne Grimes or Carol Peletier do. They adapt because of the losses they go through.

Douglas Davenport: was born for the apocalypse, would probably be the Daryl Dixon or Rick Grimes in this situation but a lot more relaxed and more talkative.

Leo Dooley: would survive but takes a while to adapt. Definitely the Noah of this storyline (probably because Leo’s actor’s brother played Noah 😭) still very funny, dark humour activated and would be a very important asset to the group. Potentially becomes some type of engineer or builder in the community.

Adam Davenport: part of me wants to say he’d survive easily but at the same time, I feel like he’d get himself killed doing the dumbest shit possible like getting sick from drinking contaminated water or accidentally shooting himself while cleaning a gun. I truly want him to survive but let’s be realistic here.

Bree Davenport: would survive, no questions asked. Her speed is awesome for supply runs and she will never be bit because she’s too fast.

Chase Davenport: would adapt the quickest because of his intelligence, his super senses are great for hearing walkers from miles away and he automatically knows how to do everything because of his super intelligence. Would find a cure for the virus like almost immediately though to be honest.

Additionally, the EF

Skylar Storm: same as Bree, would never be bit, would adapt super fast (like hello, alien who adapted to human customs almost immediately)

Kaz: has read so many zombie comic books and thinks he knows everything but actually takes a while to adapt. Becomes one of the doctors of the group and because of that is highly valued. He’s also great for starting campfires too.

Oliver: would take a while to adapt, vomited a few times when he saw a walker being killed or when he killed one. Also highly valued because he’s a doctor. I feel like he’d have a similar development as Father Gabriel tbh. Also very useful for creating clean water for people.

Bionic Soldier ranting

I want to talk to you guys (Lab Rats and Mighty Med fandoms) about what aggravated me when I was younger, which is: the Bionic Soldiers. Not the way you’re probably thinking, but the way, that is a little difficult to explain? Let’s get to the point, I wanted to see them be evil more than it was shown. I feel that the storyline for them to become bionic students felt too rushed in my opinion. I feel like we should have a gradual shift to Taylor and her brothers/sisters as it did with Douglas.

In addition, I wanted to see a scene in which S-3/Sebastian had a fight with Chase or Leo, or something like that...but yeah, I’m almost done yapping here, it felt really rushed to be four seasons. I mean, there could have been a fifth season and I wouldn’t have seen anything wrong in it, like a possible fourth season of Mighty Med. The creators who decided to have Mighty Med destroyed off camera…count your days, but that’s another deep dive for another day.

I’m planning to make a collection of fanfics in a canon divergence au where it takes time to creep into the whereabouts of the soldiers and everything else too. I could do that for Mighty Med too!
