My predictions, because I have some batshit crazy ideas:

Zero Hour

Yuta vs. Hook - Hook wins, but Yuta beats the shit out of him at the end of it. Danhausen comes out to make the save, but Yuta beats him up. And then Danhausen challenges for the Pure Rules title.

Willow vs. Kris - ONLY IN WRESTLING CAN AN OTP FIGHT EACH OTHER. Stokeley is gonna corrupt Kris against Willow, but not until the women's tag belts are announced will he make his final move. Stokeley, secretly working in the background for the Renegade Twins, will unleash his final blow right before the finals of the women's tag titles tournament, causing Staturday Nightingale to lose, and triggering a full on battle between the two of them, likely culminating in match for the women's world title (RoH, probably.)

20 Man Battle Royal - Okay. I got 3 ideas: Sara's dream book, the best story, and what likely will happen.

Sara's Dream Book: Bucks and Hanger come back. Bucks sabotage everybody else to get Hanger to almost win, then Hanger steps back and lets someone else win but leisurely jumping over the top rope when it's him vs. the other person. "I'm above this championship," he says, taking the mic during the other person's celebration. Offical Superdick Party debut, official heel turn, official idiots.

The Best Story: Only 19 people are in or around the ring. Toward the end, a guy in a hoodie, with his face slightly obscured, shows up. It's Jack Perry. He wins, and cashes in the "any time" clause during the Christian vs. Copeland match.

What Likely Will Happen: Midcardapalooza. A very fun, non champion level person like Komander, AR Fox, Kip Sabian, or Andretti win to create a fun flippy match with the winner of Copeland vs. Christian that they will ultimately lose.

Main Card

Eight Man tag (Jericho/Sammy/Darby/Sting vs. Ricky/Bill/Takeshita/Hobbes) - I really. Look. Lot's of stuff about this match is convoluted. It's mean to take the place of the tag belts, which I understand, but they should have bitten the bullet, dropped the Jericho/Golden Jets story completely, and provided a title chance to an actual tag team.

Eight man tag (Bryan/Claudio/Mark/Danny vs. Lethal/White/Rush/Brody) - I think the BCC and friends win, but I think this may lead to Danny being inducted into the BCC. Otherwise this match is kind of weird. However, it means that everyone in the C2 got a match on the pay-per-view, and I like that.

Andrade vs. Miro - Look I KNOW it's all about Miro's redemption or whatever, but he's pissing me off lately and I want Andrade to win to show that CJ's management is effective. But I also think it could be cool for Andrade to lose, to show that a lack of CJ's management causes him weakness. It could develop a more introspective story of talent vs influence that could be approached by both Miro and Andrade in different directions. But it's wrestling, so I doubt the nuance necessary for the storyline would be possible.

Swerve vs. Dustin - Yeah sorry Dustin. Swerve is gonna KILL you. Super sad to hear about Keith's injury. This match was going to absolutely BANG and him being unable to finish this storyline is a heartache.

Julia vs. Abadon - SPOOKY SHENANIGANS! I hope Skye gets out there and she and Julia do some MK Ultra tag level nonsense. Give me shenanigans. Give me lesbians. I love it.

Copeland vs. Christian - You already saw my idea for Perry, but here I think Copeland wins by pulling unexpected allies out of his back pocket.

Eddie vs. Mox - EDDIE BETTER FUCKING WIN THIS. He deserves to be a three belt holder, to hold up RoH, to continue his work. Mox may be my first AEW love, but Eddie. Eddie deserves it.

Toni vs. Riho - Mariah May shenanigans result in a Toni win, but perhaps Riho has an original in the wings waiting to save her. Crossing my fingers for a Jamie return PLEASE.

MJF vs. Samoa Joe - Joe wins. MJF is injured, shit goes down, the Devil and his goons interfere, and Joe is our new World Champion. We also, we gotta, reveal the Devil.

also also! since you're watching cloy, imagine binging the show with seungkwan and he's just so hyper and like so engrossed in the show with you. it would be so cute honestly and later he's having a full-out discussion about the episode with you. that sounds so fun tbh

warnings: possible spoilers for crash landing on you ahead! (ive already watched it, just rewatching it a second time because its just THAT SHOW.)

seungkwan would definitely be the type to make commentary during the show (same with me LMAO) because he gets so engrossed into dramas so easily and wants to share his thoughts with you. just imagine the two of you sitting next to each other on the couch, and as your eyes flicker to seungkwan next to you, you would definitely be able to tell all the emotions passing through his face as he watches.

"jeonghyeok, you have to go after her! oh my gosh- he's doing it, Y/N, he's doing it!" he'd cling onto your arm tightly, face slightly buried in your shoulder as he watches the screen carefully. "kiss! oh my god, are they gonna kiss? they're gonna kiss!"

and then he squeals and hollers and is probably hitting you in the process during the kiss scene that you can't help but laugh at the tears forming his eyelids.

"they're so in love with each other..." seungkwan mutters while wiping away his tears. and then he looks at you trying to hold in your laughter. "hey, are you laughing at me? come on, it was such a beautiful moment!"

"sorry." you chuckle anyway, and bring him closer to you.

"ugh, why do they have to live in two separate places? ugh, all this angst is killing me right now!" seungkwan exclaims, a pout to his face. "they better reunite in the next episode or else I'm going to be pissed off. I need them to be together right now."

but when you both realise how late it is into the night, it takes some convincing for him so you both could start getting ready for bed. but while you both are getting ready to sleep together, seungkwan is just rambling all his thoughts, even while he's brushing his damn teeth and maybe spitting everywhere LMAO.

and when you both are laying in bed together and he's settling into his side, he's still talking, but you can't help but listen because it's just so silly hearing coming up with all the possible theories of a happy ending for this lovely otp.

OTP QuestionsHere’s some more things for you Wings! These ones are longer and a bit more rambly as I haven’t written enough Closso stuff (but that’s gonna change!)

1: Who spends almost all their money on the other?Cloud does, he wants to show Rosso everything the surface has to offer withleads to a lot of adventures and having to explain things to her, which may ormay not force Cloud to consider his own thoughts and viewpoints on things. Rosso still has no concept of money and she prefers to expend effort on thingsfor Cloud; ‘You were tired after returning so I went out and killed somethingbefore cooking it, I hope you are pleased.’

2: Who sleeps in the other’s lap?Rosso does; she considers it an absolute show of trust, to make herself sovulnerable around someone else. She’ll sprawl out on the couch with Cloud, sohe can ensure that no danger approaches her while she’s vulnerable; a habit shehasn’t been able to lose since her DEEPGROUND days. Cloud will fall asleep on her on occasions and she feels very proud of herselfthen, that he’s extending that same show of trust to her is very gratifying,especially after a fight; they’ll be bloodied and bruised and he’ll justcollapse on her, uncaring of the fact that they both still held their weaponsin their hands. Rosso likes those moments, they’re good.

3: Who walks around the house half-naked andwho yells at them to put on some clothes?This is definitely Rosso (have you seen her outfit?) She’s so unashamed of itand doesn’t understand why Cloud keeps handing her things to change into whensomeone is planning to appear in their home. They’re warm and soft though, soshe’ll usually humour him and put the things on but they’re off the moment the guestleaves.

4: Which one tells theother not to stay up all night and which one stays up all night anyway?There are days when Rosso just won’t settle and won’t be able to sleep whichleads to a lot of coaxing on Cloud’s part to try to convince her to at leastlie down instead of whatever she’s doing, it doesn’t always work, and she’llspend some nights pacing the entire apartment tense and waiting for someone totry to attack them, often alone but occasionally Cloud will stay awake withher. The occurrences die down eventually until they only really happen after aparticularly tense or trying day.

5: Which one tries tomake food for the other but burns it all by accident and which one tells themthat it’s okay and makes them both cookies?Rosso can’t cook for the first few months out of DEEPGROUND at all, it’s aterrible mess of frustrating lessons and trying to figure out what she’s doingwrong. Cloud makes cookies for the both of them because cookies are good, heremembers making them with his Ma after a bad day and they helped so he makesthem, explaining everything he does as letting her see exactly what he’s doing.She can help him more the next time they make them.

6: Which one reads OTPprompts and says “Oh that’s us!” and which one goes “Eh, not really”?It’s more like Rosso asking “Is this supposed to be us? Are we going this ‘romance’thing wrong?” because she doesn’t under the society on the surface and on occasionsshe worries that she’s doing things wrong. Cloud tells her that relationshipsare widely different depending on the people in them and that theirrelationship was perfectly fine.

7: Which oneconstantly wears the other’s clothes?The only way to get Rosso into formal wear for the stupid parties Shinra andReeve invites them to is for Cloud to wear the dress in advance, which is a funday. She mostly resists now just to see him in the fabric, he may or may not beentirely aware of that.

8: Which one spendsall day running errands and which one says “You remembered [thing], right?”Rosso would spend the day running errands to try to do a nice thing only to becomeextremely irritated when Cloud points out that she’s forgotten something beforeleaving and possibly terrifying everyone around her as she retrieves the thing.Cloud’s very grateful to her for going out and doing all the things so he triesto calm her down and reassure her that it’s alright that she forgot one smallthing, to varying results.

9: Which one drivesthe car and which one gives them directions?Cloud drives while Rosso gives incredibly accurate directions, down to the mile.She was given extensive lessons in reading maps of all kinds while inDEEPGROUND, they won’t become lost on her watch.

10: Which one does theposing while the other one draws?Rosso definitely poses for Cloud whenever he asks her to, she’s used toextended periods of stillness and she enjoys having all his attention focusedupon her for that duration.

11: If they were aboutto rob a museum, which one does backflips through lasers and which one isstrolling behind with a bag of chips?Rosso would be doing backflips just to prove she could do it, probablybecause Cloud’s dared her to, and while it would be safer to do it in a morecautious manner, she’s going to prove that she can do it this way. Cloud’sslowly regretting the dare, but not because this is hilarious.

12: Whichone of your OTP overdoes it on the alcohol and which one makes the other stopdrinking?Neither of them really overdoes it with the alcohol; Rosso doesn’t often partakein it and Cloud over really has a few drinks with friends on occasion, so theydon’t really have that problem.

13: Which one likes tosurprise the other with a lot of small random gifts?Cloud will bring Rosso things back from his deliveries; little knick-knacks or thingspicked up from the local market to bring back, little bits of other people’sthoughts and lives imprinted on wood or stone or ceramic. She’s curious aboutthe objects and the reasons behind him and has a large list of places she wishesto go after she’s ‘allowed’ to leave Edge.

14: Which one keepsaccidentally using the other’s last name instead of their own?Rosso doesn’t have a last name and ‘Strife’ is so much easier to say than ‘theCrimson’, so she’ll use Cloud’s last name when she needs one or when she’sforced to introduce herself to people. Cloud’s friends tease him about this relentlessly.

15: Which one screams about the spider andwhich one brings the spider outside?Neither of them screams but Cloud needs to quickly take the spider outside elseRosso will kill it; spiders were very dangerous creatures down in DEEPGROUNDand many, many people died to their venom. She’s not taking any chances, shewatches Cloud very closely as he disposes of the arachnid, weary of thecreature biting him and ready to cast an Esuna on him if it does.

16: Which one gives theother their jacket?Rosso will not get a jacket for herself! And when she finally does, shedoesn’t take it with her anywhere! Cloud keeps shoving his jacket at herbecause ‘I can SEE your lips turning BLUE! Take the stupid jacket and STOP FREEZING!’

17: Whokeeps getting threatened by the other’s overprotective older sibling?The first time Rosso is threatened by one of Cloud’s friends, she’s offended onhis behalf and the fact that they think they need to intercede on his part in amatter that does not concern them. She ensures they know her stance on thewhole ‘shovel talk’ concept before leaving.

18: Who’s the first oneto admit they have feelings for the other?Cloud was, Rosso has no idea how emotions worked and didn’t have the knowledgeto realize that her lust for Cloud had grown into something a bit more. Cloudwas fully expecting to be turned down, kept to a casual sex partner, butinstead he had the trying task of explaining that particular set of emotions toRosso and somehow ended up with a kinda, maybe girlfriend? He’s not to sure fora while afterwards.

19: How good would yourOTP be at parenting?Terrible. No. Don’t give them children. Rosso would be an awful parent. Nevergive her a child. Ever.

20: Whichone types with perfect grammar and which one types using numbers as letters?Rosso has the perfect grammar typing and while Cloud does the text speak whensending messages to his friends, he doesn’t to her because she gets confused byit (so does Vincent)

21: Who gets attackedby a bully and who protects them?Systematic discrimination is something they’d both have to deal with after literallyeverything that’s ever happened, and while Rosso doesn’t notice it at all, refusingto let the opinions of others affect her but Cloud’s a bit softer than she isand while she doesn’t see the point of defending herself from someone sobeneath her, she’s on board for defending Cloud from those people, often to theextent of extreme violence.

22: Who makes the badpuns and who makes a pained smile every time the other makes a pun?Neither, Rosso doesn’t get puns and Cloud hates them just the tiniest amount.If anything, Tifa makes puns while they’re around, simultaneously trying toteach Rosso about humour and making Cloud cringe.

23: Who comes home fromwork to see that the other one bought a puppy?Rosso comes home to see that Cloud’s picked up a puppy/kitten, fully vaccinatedand with all the supplies the animal would need, as if he’s been planning thisfor weeks instead of it being a spur of the moment decision.

24: Which one gives theother a piggyback ride when they’re tired?Rosso refuses to show weakness, of any kind, if they’re coming back from aspar and she’s broken her ankle or leg during the fight then she might acceptit but beyond that, nope. Cloud will accept them shamelessly, Rosso’s verystrong and she could probably carry him for days.

25: Whichone competes in some sort of activity and which one does the overzealouscheering?Rosso’s so very competitive it’s not funny, she do her best to crush any opponentbeneath her heel. Cloud’s her very soft cheerleader, laughing at her for howintent she is to best all the children in the video game (I’m imagining Minecrafthere and Cloud insisting to her that it’s not a competitive game even as shemakes amazing structures, art pieces and murders any that come near her extensivenetwork).

26: Whotakes a selfie when the other one falls asleep on their shoulder?Cloud takes the selfie to capture the sweet image forever, because this neverhappens like this and she’s so cute and oh god Tifa help me I’m in affectionwith a maniac!

27: Whichone would give the other a makeover if they asked?If Rosso asked then Cloud would give her one, she askes him for help preparing forformal parties, because make-up is hard and she really doesn’t care to learnit.

28: Which one owns apet that the other is absolutely terrified of?Neither, I don’t think Rosso actually knows what fear is (aside from beingstrapped to a cold metal table as faceless figures in white stare down at you,sharp implements in hand. That’s fear) and Cloud loves all the animals ever.

29: Which one holds theumbrella over both of them when it rains?Rosso loves the rain so much, she loves being in it and Cloud has to force herto stay under the umbrella so she doesn’t catch a cold but it never works outthe way he wants it to and the umbrella often ends up on the ground as theybecome soaked to the bone (this is actually a really cute scenario and I needto remember it for later).

30: If your OTP went onvacation, where would they go and what would they do? Who would take thepictures?Cloud would take Rosso to all of the places, she’s never seen anything outsideof Edge so seeing all the different environments and ecosystems will besomething he’s sure she’ll enjoy. He takes all the pictures of her figuringthings out and discovering things for the first time (the picture of her out inthe storm is his absolute favourite)

Okay, it's not gonna work XD So I'm gonna say "Hogyha kell egy tánc" ("If I want to dance"). It's a song from the musical Elisabeth, about the life of Sisi, the empress of Austria. The musical itself is rather... gothic. It's narrated by Sisi's murderer, and there is a love triangle amongst Sisi, her husband Franz Josef, and... Death. Death is in love with Sisi and follows her through life. This song is a duet between the two of them, where Sisi reasserts her newfound independence and power ("If I want to dance/I'll choose my partner"), while Death encourages her and kinda reminds her that it's due to him. And yeah, once again, staying on brand: Darklina XD

X: Rogue/Gambit, Skye/Grant Ward, Zuko/Katara

Z: Um, fan related? So I translated The Prison Healer not so long ago, which is a YA fantasy, and I had my reservations at first, but it turned out to be pretty good. Really good. Good enough that I wanted to see what happens next right away. See, it's a trilogy, and I could get my hands on the second book, no problem, but the third book came out in Australia two weeks ago (the athor is Australian), and yesterday in the US/UK, but I haven't been able to get it yet, and it's driving me mad, because I'm at like 90% into book 2, and I don't want to finish it until I have the third book. But, at the same time, before The Prison Healer, I translated Anthiny Ryan's The Pariah, which is medieval fantasy, and that was sooo good as well. And the second book in that series is coming out on the 30th, but I did manage to snatch an ARC from Netgalley, and I'm about halfway through, but... I'm not feeling it as much as the first book? In the first book the landscape, the situation, the power balance everything kept changing (the protagonist went from outlaw to prisoner to scribe to soldier), but this second book just has a lot of sieges. And the author is I think is a historian, and he really knows his stuff when it comes to medieval warfare and whatnot, but I'm itching for the characters to have an actual conversation instead of fighting all the time.

I never mind, on the contrary, getting your asks always makes me so happy! And especially talking about my "firstborn" fic, oooh, that makes me so happy 😍

I skimmed through the chapters and decided to go for Chapter 34: Victory, so here we go:

(Also, doing bullet points because there’s so many things I have to say on this 😅)

Let’s start at the beginning. Am I not unconventional 😆 Anyway, the chapter starts with the squad celebrating their win over Gryffindor in the final and spirits are at an all time high. So high in fact, that neither Orion nor Lizzie care for a moment that the whole school is watching them. Lizzie has completely forgotten the crowd and honestly? I think if Orion had made a move she’d kissed him then and there.

He hasn’t though, and when Lizzie sees her friends from the other team - and most importantly Charlie - being absolutely crushed, she knows she has to go to them. This was actually a really important thing for her to do, because while she and Charlie have left their fight behind, the fact that she chose being there for him over celebrating with her team/Orion showed Charlie how important their friendship is for her.

When I wrote the victory party, I struggled, hard, because I had to wrap up the plot lines and that was the first time it actually hit me that this was the end of the fic. Like, proper end, and I started crying while writing Lizzie and Rowan talking things out.

It was so good giving Rowan this moment of insight here. I think that’s one of the major things most of us have experienced as teenagers - falling in love with the idea of someone, instead of their actual selves, and that’s something Rowan realised. Also, that she stops giving Lizzie shit for falling in love when she never meant to. They both made mistakes and acknowledge it, and it’s a very important step in the development for both of them.

The scene between Lizzie and Skye was one of my favourites to write. They don’t have a typical girly friendship, and while they had their soft moments sprinkled throughout the fic, they are very rare. This was a very poignant moment for Skye because Lizzie helped her reach her goal, not winning the Cup (which Skye didn’t mind) but getting her dad to be proud of her 💛

Btw, kudos to you for pointing out where the sentence Lizzie says to Ethan when he asks her to call him by his first name actually came from! It sounder so familiar but I couldn’t figure out why, until you mentioned PotC 😂

Writing Lizzie and Orion together when both know they can now finally be together if they want to was weird, but in a good way. To me, it felt just as exciting and intimidating as it was undoubtedly for them, but their banter and flirting came so naturally, it was a joy to write. Also, when they leave the party pushing through the crowd, there’s a throwback to that in Part 5 of Rockstar - I know it will be a while until we reach that, but maybe you’ll remember when you read it.

Hey! I can finally ask you something so yeah! ✨It's my time to shine ahahaaha!✨I must admit that your knowledge of Hogwarts Mystery (the game that we all hate and love) is impressive! When you will get the deserved degree?

Joking aside, I recently found one of your posts about Parkwood and its decline. It made me think.

Skye is a popular character, just see all the amount of fan arts, fan fiction or posts of hers that the fandom produced for confirmation, but it's pretty strange that aside Penny she isn't really shipped with anybody else.

Expect for Mc or Orion.

I can assume why people ships so much Skye and Mc but even if the Orion x Skye had/still has some breath along the fandom (there are some cute fan fictions around them) I always had the sensation that they are a bit underrated. XD

We really cannot say that there aren’t the assumptions for not shipping them: in season I MC literally said to Orion “perhaps you and Skye are more alike than you think” with that mischievous look, later in season II Skye literally confronted MC because she suspected that he/he was training in secret with Orion (complaining his way of training of course but, still, she seemed pretty jealous) and in season III when Madam Hooc was painting to help Orion who was injured on the ground (precisely is when she said “give Mr Amari some room. Hovering won't do him any good) Skye was the only one with the “worried “ animation, then in the Hospital wing not only she pointed out that he was with Erika (“I see you've got company”) but she also said that Orion visited her very often, maybe without MC or Murphy and excluding that time aat the down of the second Quidditch cup (at least in the Italian translation when she says “Ovviamente. É venuto a farmi visita spesso quando ero qui” and can be translated in that way, I saw that in the original version she just says “he visited me when I was there” so yeah, maybe the Italians translators really said “yeah let's make our OTP canon and screw the developers” even if I don't think that they’d do At the end, even Murphy during season I seemed to wink at how ambiguous is their relationship.

They act strangely to each other, that's true. All this evidences could actually work for a friendship for sure, but they always been a little bit ambiguous when they interact and nothing' my shipper's brain basically went “BOOOOOOOO:”. If at some point of the story will eventually come out that one of them had an awfully crush for the counterpart I wouldn’t be that surprised: oh come on we need some other canon relationship without MC involved!

Oh my good friend, if anyone should get a degree for keeping up with everything, it is MissNightOwl. Her blog is incredible and goes in depth. I make mistakes and errors all the time. I highly appreciate your kind words though! I'm so glad to hear from you. Please do not apologize for long posts! I love them, I mean goodness knows I ramble on a lot myself!

I think the reason that Skye is shipped with so few characters is because she interacts with so few of them. Her relationship with MC is easily the one that is the most developed, and her obsession with Rath is also something I've seen used for shipping fuel, the same way that Penny's obsession with Skye is what kickstarted Parkwood. I have to say, I've never really seen anyone shipping Skye with Orion and my immediate reaction is that I don't see it at all, but I'm not against it.

It could just be that I tend to interpret the Quidditch cast as being an example of the found family trope and thus I don't really ship any of them together - the occasional exception being ships that involve MC as they were the last person to be introduced to this cast. That said, I agree with you that it would be refreshing to see a relationship develop between two of the characters that are not MC, and Quidditch would be the perfect time and place to do it. After all, apparently these characters will never be romance options, but I suppose anything could change. After the fake-out with Jae and Chiara, I wouldn't mind seeing something confirmed for the background.

Really, I think Quidditch could go a lot further if they fully embraced the concept of being an alternate universe, which I think it's even been said flat out by the writers that it is. I understand why they won't make Penny's crush on Skye explicit, because she's a romance option for MC...but if it's an alternate universe, that's different. Same goes for Murphy and Andre, who were totally eyeing each other up. They were, don't shoot the messenger.

When it comes to Skye and Orion, I can agree that they probably have a relationship that is closer than either of them portrays. I think Skye does care about Orion even if she wouldn't admit to it in the early seasons, and considering that he keeps letting her back on the team even when she's caused problems, she obviously means something to him. I still interpret this as a found family myself, but Skye and Orion have the kind of energy of two people who are opposites but also similar in more low key ways.

I was tagged by @kaibagirl007, and I love quizzes, so I couldn't resist. I'm not much on picture quizzes, though, as I love talking too much, lol. So instead of finding pictures, I rambled.

Top Four Ships:

I'm not much of a romance-shipper, although there are a few ships I adore. But overall, I'm more of a friend-shipper and I get excited about friendships the same way most people get excited about romances. LOL. At the moment, I am pretty much obsessively friend-shipping Lector and Nesbitt from Yu-Gi-Oh! Started out working with the canon info that they may have some trouble getting along, soon realized that all of the Big Five may care about each other due to various intriguing evidence in canon (they never backstab each other or get suspicious of each other like so many villain teams do, they always seem to want each other to succeed, they argue but it never breaks them apart, they often talk about all of them getting out of Noa's world and being together in the real world.... Even though Nesbitt had a moment of weakness and tried to get out on his own when he thought he could, he also seemed to honestly want to be with the others and talked about it too), and ended up throwing that into the mix, and over the course of the fics I've somehow developed things to the point of Lector and Nesbitt being the closest friendship in the group. They still argue sometimes, but they definitely get along better than they did, and they're extremely protective of each other. But really, I obsessively friend-ship all of the Big Five, heee.

I do actually have a couple of OTPs, one being Seto/Tea, also from Yu-Gi-Oh! It's funny because I started out fully against the idea and was like, "No way would that ever happen! Tea practically hates him!" But then I was talking with fans in a Yahoo Group about it and somehow got thinking, "I wonder if there is any way to make it work...." And ever since then, I've found it super intriguing to figure out ways of making it work. Sometimes I feel guilty to ship Tea with someone other than Yugi, but I can't stop being fascinated by the thought of her with Seto. I also love just friend-shipping them, because I totally adore male-female friendships that don't become romantic.

Also love Duke/Serenity from Yu-Gi-Oh! Originally I figured Tristan was better because of Duke's shallow flirting, but when I really got to know Duke better, especially in his manga intro (the only story I like better in the manga than the anime), I decided Duke was better for her. Tristan shelters her too much, and after a lifetime of being sheltered, that's the last thing she needs. I like Tristan having more of a brotherly relationship with her.

Then back to friend-shipping, I love exploring Duke and his unnamed store manager from Duke's first episode in Yu-Gi-Oh! From the first time I saw the episode, I was intrigued that this guy was obviously close with Duke, teasing him without Duke batting an eye. In the dub, Duke is his boss, and that is not how you treat your boss unless there's something else going on too. ;) In the Japanese, the character's role is never identified, making it even more of a mystery. The teasing happens there, too. I named the manager David Tanaka and love expanding on their interaction.

Last Song:

I guess that would be the first Yu Yu Hakusho English opening, which got stuck in my head over the weekend. I have Hulu for the year, as I got in on their amazing Black Friday deal of $1.99 per month for a year, and I started watching Yu Yu Hakusho on it. I only saw four episodes when it was first out in America because of no access, but I remembered the show fondly nevertheless.

Last Movie:

The 1955 version of The Man Who Knew Too Much. Alfred Hitchcock's best, as far as I'm concerned. I've seen the older version and was never too impressed by it. I even wrote my own adaptation of the film using the Ginger and Lou characters from The Rockford Files. That was a blast! I'm also contemplating a YGO version, with Seto in the title role. But I'd rather not have poor Mokuba as the one kidnapped to make Seto be quiet about what he knows, so I'm pondering other ways to work it. Maybe Tea?

Last Reading:

I think the last book I dove into was a book about the Biblical Deborah, written by H.B. Moore. Interesting reading. I need to get back to it. I don't have a lot of time for reading these days. I'm also reading Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.

What food are you craving right now?

I just ate, so I'm not really craving anything. But maybe I'll cook potatoes later. Yum.

Chapter 34

After a night filled with newly-engaged love-making, they fell asleep, tangled up together without a stitch of clothing to speak of. It had been the most restful night she’d had in forever, and she was pretty sure Derek’s too, considering he was lightly snoring behind her.

I don’t snore.

Yes, you do, Derek. I’ll film you.

Don’t you dare.

Turning over, she ran her finger over his jawline and waited for him to wake up, smiling when his eyes popped open. “Hey fiancee,” he mumbled sleepily. “How are you this morning?”

“I’m fantastic, fiance,” she replied, laughing as she lifted up her hand and marveled at the ring. Last night, she really hadn’t had too much of a chance to look at it; she’d been too overwhelmed. But it was beautiful, and the fact that it was his mother’s ring made it all that much more special.

“I don’t ever want to leave this bed.” Derek murmured, stretching.

“Me either, but we have a wedding to plan, so we may need to get up.” Juliet grinned.

“Nope. Not happening.”

She rolled her eyes and started to move to get up, but a set of arms snaked around her waist and pulled her back. Juliet let out a squeal of surprise which devolved into laughter. “Derek Morgan! You are incorrigible!”

“And you love it.” He chuckled, rolling her over and pinning her arms gently as he began to attack her with kisses.

She really did. And she was about to let him have his way and spend the day in bed when a loud ringing began. He groaned and pulled away, grabbing his cellphone off the nightstand. “Babygirl, this better be good,” he started, smiling as Garcia started rambling. Juliet could barely hear her, but from what she could gather, she was asking about the engagement. It didn’t surprise her that he’d told them beforehand. “Yes, I asked her.” He turned to Juliet and kissed her forehead. “Yes, she said yes.”

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” Garcia screeched through the phone. That Juliet heard. “Oh my god, you’re going to live happily ever after I’m so excited!”

Garcia was the cutest. “That’s the plan,” Juliet replied. “Talk to you soon?”

“Yes, we have so much planning to do!” She clapped excitedly and said goodbye, leaving the two lovebirds to revel in the glow of being newly-engaged.

Juliet tried to get up again, succeeding this time when she coaxed Derek with the promise of pancakes. “So, I would like to know what ideas my fiance has about the wedding.”

Derek shook his head. “I’m not falling into that trap. The correct answer to that question is whatever you want, dear. My mama taught me that a long time ago.”

Juliet hip-checked him teasingly as she handed over a spatula. “Nuh uh. You are not getting off that easily mister. Tell me.”

He shrugged, looking over at her. “Honestly, all I need is you in a white dress and someone willing to marry us. Hell I’d elope if that’s what you wanted. The only thing that matters to me is you, Juliet.”

She blushed, and ducked her head shyly. Even after all this time she still melted when he talked like that. It almost didn’t feel real. And now she got to spend the rest of her life with him. Pulling herself together, Juliet shook her head. “Now that’s a trap I’m not falling into. I may not know much but I know your mother would murder me if she didn’t get to see her baby boy get married.”

“So no eloping then? You don’t fancy a quick drive to Vegas?”

Juliet grimaced and shook her head. “No way. I want to shout it from the rooftops. Okay, well I’m going to be running things by you all the time because I don’t want you to hate anything I pick. What do you think about getting married in the fall? Next year?”

“That’s good by me. I could picture you floating delicately over fallen leaves somewhere. Maybe a light blue for a color? Not too many jewels please?” If it made her happy, he’d do it, but being bedazzled wasn’t exactly his cup of tea, or mug of coffee really.

“Do you know me?” She laughed. “I’m no sparkly princess. I’m thinking I want to go for a vintage fairy-like vibe.”

Derek had absolutely no idea what that meant. “Whatever you wear, you’ll be beautiful. Who do you want to be your maid of honor?”

“Emily,” Juliet said immediately. “We’ve gotten really close. I figure Garcia is going to be your best woman?”

Chuckling, he kissed her neck as he passed her to grab something from the refrigerator. “You assume correctly.”

A few hours later they finally made it out of the house. Derek made one more impassioned plea for taking her back to bed, but Juliet had insisted. She wanted to share this with everyone that mattered to them. Of course, Garcia had probably already told everyone, even some random strangers Juliet was sure, but still.

As they stepped through the glass doors into the BAU, an explosion of confetti went off. Juliet laughed, as it cleared she could see Penelope holding a mini confetti cannon. “Hi Pen.”

The blonde didn’t speak, just tottered over and enveloped them both into a hug. “Oh I love you I love you I love you! I’m so happy, my heart is singing!”

“Too. Tight. Can’t, Breathe.” Juliet murmured into her sequined blazer, causing Penelope to reluctantly release.

“Sorry! I’m just so excited.” She squealed, grabbing Morgan’s face in her hands and kissing his cheek. “You did it! Well, we did it. Let’s be honest this wouldn’t have happened without me. And I mean-”

“Hey babygirl?”

“Yeah?”

“Can I say hi to everyone else?”

Penelope blushed, glancing back as if suddenly remembering that the rest of the team was standing behind her. “Oh. Right. Whoopsies!”

“Congratulations,” Spencer said, smiling as he embraced Derek in a warm hug. “And congratulations to you,” he continued, turning to Juliet.

Juliet was a wonderful torrent of smiles and laughs as everyone on the team congratulated them on their engagement. Even people she barely knew came up to hug her and tell her how happy they were for the two of them. It felt like a dream, walking through a cloud city where nothing could go wrong.

Rossi insisted on having drinks at his house in the near future in order to celebrate. Penelope and JJ started asking when they were going to start having little ones running around the house. And Hotch even broke out with one of his rare but genuine smiles. “Do you have a date yet?” Emily asked.

“Not yet!” Derek exclaimed with a mock tone of surprise, “But sometime in the fall.”

Juliet leaned into Derek’s embrace and sighed. “I’ve always imagined walking down the aisle among a sea of yellow, orange, and red leaves.”

They all chatted for a little longer before Rossi clapped his hands. “Alright, that’s it. We’re not going to get anymore paperwork done tonight so who’s up for good liquor at my place? Huh? What do you say.”

JJ had to beg off to head home to her boys and Emily mentioned something vague about meeting up with an old girlfriend. Juliet had known her long enough to know she meant she had a date, but didn’t pry.

The rest of the team started to collect their things while teasing Rossi about his extensive Scotch collection. Juliet went to the lair with Garcia to grab a gift she’d made for her and Derek.

That left Agent Morgan standing alone by the front doors, waiting for the team. A ringing started and after a moment of feeling around for it, Derek fished his phone out of his jacket pocket. The caller ID read: Unknown. Frowning, he picked up.

“Hello, this is SSA Derek Morgan speaking.”

“Congratulations on your engagement, Agent Morgan.” A voice crackled through on the other end of the line.

Derek tensed, unable to recognize the voice. “Who is this?!?” He asked pointedly.

“Enjoy it for tonight. Because by tomorrow, if you haven’t broken things off...well, let’s just say you’ll be sorry.”

He looked around calmly, trying to see if anyone within earshot was on their phone, but nothing. “I don’t know who you think you are,” Derek whispered, “But I won’t be doing that.”

“Is that so?” The person asked condescendingly. “I thought you cared about your family more than that.”

“What the hell are you talking about?” He asked, his voice raising in pitch with each passing moment.

There was a lingering silence on the other side of the line before the chilling voice broke through again. “Fran. Sarah. Desiree.”

Derek’s mouth went dry. “I don’t know who you think you are but-”

“Goodbye Agent Morgan.”

The line went dead. Derek nearly jumped when he felt a hand on his shoulder.

“Whoa. Everything okay?” Juliet asked, searching his eyes with her brow furrowed. Taking a deep breath, he nodded and smiled. “All good.” There was no reason to scare her when he didn’t even know if this was real.

So, he ignored the sinking feeling in his stomach and held her hand, walking out to the car with the BAU in tow ready to drink the night away.

He definitely needed a drink.

Agents of Shield S1E4 -- Eye Spy

For those who don’t know . . . . I’m new to AoS and am watching the series SPOILER FREE.  This is becoming increasingly difficult for me (I am a spoiler whore) but I’m committed to doing this so please help me by NOT giving me spoilers!  I’m very open to discussion and messages and any sort of engagement -- and we can discuss the show up to the point that I’ve seen, but not beyond that.  Thank you for understanding!

Also thank you and welcome to all the people following me for AoS!  I won’t be following ANY of your blogs for obvious reasons but if you want to chat minus spoilers, I don’t bite!  

Also -- okay -- I’m officially putting a call out there to any SkyeWard shippers that may be reading this.  Please help.  I’m not a big couples shipper and I’ve never shipped a couple this early but I just -- I love them.  I mean I love them as individuals and I love them together and I just want to read ALL THE FIC but I also want to watch spoiler free so . . . as soon as I reach a point where someone can send me links to fanfic that is contained to the point I’ve watched and will NOT spoil me for the future . . . . . including whether or not this pairing becomes canon (again don’t tell me but please please PLEASE be canon!!!!) . . .. . . it would be much appreciated.  Thank you.  

Sorry for rambling.  Anyhow . . . . . . this episode . . . . . 

Honestly, I found this episode to drag the first 15 minutes and was thinking “eh more filler” but then it picked up and boy was I wrong!  

First of all -- if I was on a train and a bunch of identically dressed people wearing red masks got on that train -- I’d get the fuck off that train.  But that’s just me.  People actually STAYED ON THE TRAIN, the HELL?!?!?!?!?!  I’ve watched enough science fiction to know better . . . . get a clue!

So there was THAT.  

I thought the story overall was good -- I did NOT see it coming that Akela was being controlled, that was a cool twist!  

But the best thing about this episode was the little personality quirks that were revealed.

Fitz being squeamish -- I feel you, dude.  I actually had to close my eyes during that scene.  I do NOT do needles.  

And at the end with Akela asking May about Coulson -- what happened to him?  This has something to do with Tahiti, doesn’t it?  I take it his personality is VERY different than it used to be before he was “killed.”  Just a hunch.  

And then the “Skye” (nope, still don’t believe that’s her real name) and Ward stuff.  

“Skye” to Ward:  “You’re a robot, can you do that?”  

I laughed out loud at that.  AND the pee bottle.  “Not everyone has a penis.”

Did I mention I love them?  

Ward trying to “seduce” the guard with bro talk was hilarious.  This man has never held a conversation in his life that didn’t involve work or snark, has he?  

The ending though -- the freaking ENDING!!!!

She looked at him naked with those glasses!!!!

I’m trying SO HARD not to get invested here because my track record with OTPs is NOT GOOD.  But dammit anyway . . . . 

So I just need to know two things soon:  

1) What is her REAL NAME????

2)  Whose side is she REALLY on????  

Not that it’ll change my opinion on her, cause I totally love her . . . but I just need to know. SOON.

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO RP WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING? Absolutely anything, I want every kind of ship you know? Secret ships, power couples, slowburn, love-at-fist-sight, anything.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE? Sheri bases who she can date off her brother, sort of. Like, she refuses to date anyone her brother’s age or older than him because that’s strange and her brother is 21 so, I’d say anywhere from 16-20 is okay for her. Otherwise she’s uneasy. ( whines loudly, she’s 17 turning 18 on august 21st. she also went to school late making her older than most of her friends idk I never defined how old she was exactly. )

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?   Honestly nah, I’m down for anything. I love the feeling of exploring that deeper connection between muses not to mention, 90% of my rp career involves relationships. ( probably because I always played a male character, this is genuinely the first female character I’ve been able to hold onto / play. )

You can not save everyone and you can’t put your own mental health to the side just so someone else can “””survive””” ?? I guess? It’s like. I get what they’re trying to say, that you need to open up and be there for people but I swear to fucking god if Clay and Skye get together in season two I’m going to be furious because it’s sending the wrong fucking message to it’s viewers. I know, because I use to be like Clay when I was in highschool and it’s UNHEALTHY TO BE THIS DEVOTED TO OTHER PEOPLE and not to realize your own needs. I feel like Clay and Sheri could be good for eachother, because they’re both very soft and caring humans. They give a shit about everyone. And they need someone to love unconditionally that’ll love them back rather than being sucked into a depression. I know, this sounds horrible-- But like, Clay can’t save everyone. And the show made it seem like if Clay just had stayed with Hannah then maybe she’d still be alive but, that’s not healthy, that’s a toxic relationship. Skye and Clay are heading towards a toxic relationship because she is clearly wavering like Hannah was, and soon Clay will be Skye’s only reason to live and that isn’t good for any fucking relationship because it puts too much stress on the other person.... ok i rambled sorry.
