Outlast chaos

Pairing: Skye Blue x reader

Description: You and Skye play outlast and it leads to pure chaos

You felt nervous as you played the first few minutes of Outlast feeling fear creep through you jumping at each noise yelling when you're jump scared handing the controller to your girlfriend Skye. The two of you take turns every two hours that went down to an hour as things picked up determined to beat the game so neither of you would have to play or go near this game ever again especially any time soon running to the bathroom after a particularly bad jump scare spilling water on skye which in turned scared to to where she hid behind the couch as Julia, Hausen, and Hook walk in to pure chaos "Skye I am not playing this game again!" they all look confused seeing your scared face peek out from the bathroom while skye was climbing from behind the couch to put batteries back in the controller after she dropped it from the last jump scare "What the hell happened?" skye yells as she dies immediately joining you in the bathroom after turning the TV off leading hook to turn it back on and play the last twenty minutes of the game as the two of you beg them not to play it now standing in the hallway holding each other as hook and hausen switch every twenty minutes completing the game both of you cheering and crying from the final jump scare "Never again what the fuck was that Skye!". The two of you clean the small mess of spilled water and empty cans of soda before all of you go out for pizza leading to the three finding out about skye's wonderful idea to get certain horror games and play them from beginning to end getting outlast, all the silent hills, all the fnafs, and smaller unknown games getting through the first fnaf and silent hill before the chaos of outlast happened making the boys and julia laugh uncontrollably earning an eye roll from skye and a middle finger from you before finishing pizza and heading back to your and skye's place for a few rounds of multiplayer Halo and Dead by daylight before having a late night training session in your homemade gym and ring before it was just you and skye watching tv making sure the boys took outlast and a few of the other games for awhile.

Vanny could have been a great parallel for Dahlia Hawthorne but no. no they decided that mind control is a good plot. >:(

im thinking and im trying to fit her into my Kristoph & William illness but no thoughts are clicking. hmm. bc shes sooo similar to Kristoph in the sense of being Phoenix's toxic exes who hate him but she's very far removed from William in the sense that she never actually liked Phoenix at all && her emotions just aren't examined by the game much at all. wait ive been going at this from the wrong angle (bc I havent played the trilogy in a while lmao). I need to be examining her relationship with Mia Fey.

hm. her relationship & animosity towards her is also filled with jealousy because of course it is we love jealousy as motive. but that isn't what motivated her to commit her crimes, though. their relationship started AFTER she did that first robbery && fake-murder-victim-hours. but like for the life of me I cannot remember what her prime motivations were- wait, no, I do. she carried out that robbery bc she belonged to a broken home and wanted power, wealth, attention. bit reminiscent of my William hcs but thats for another day. then the rest of her crimes spiralled out from her needing to cover-up her past (killed valerie bc she was gonna spill about her past, attempted murder of Diego Armando bc he was digging into her past, murder of that one student cant remember because he was digging into her criminal activities re: attempted murder, n everything w/ maya n misty because #revenge against mia yknow.)

ok im jumping off that tangent to think about how heavily ace attorney plays into themes of facades & masks. like its the part I most love Kristoph for but now I'm thinking about it, the motif is everywhere. in Dahlia, of course, as she also presents a soft, delicate side that hides her cruel interior (although she is less insufferably polite and moreso just self-infantalising which is why I never really latched onto her as I did Kristoph), but also in Godot/Diego, who. literally wears a mask. but also conceals his reasons behind why he hated Phoenix, how his mask showed not only that but also how he was unwilling to face his past, unwilling to forgive, unwilling to let go and accept what happened, happened.

like from the AA wiki: "Godot thought he couldn't forgive Wright, but he knew, deep down, that the one he couldn't forgive was himself. Not able to face Mia's death head-on, Godot had run away, throwing away his past, his name, and even his face, hiding behind a mask."

and ok I do not have a conclusion for this tangent and I, sadly, have no way of relating this to FNAF but goddamn I love this silly little lawyer game. ily Trials and Tribulations youve got great characters and great writing and goddamn Ace Attorney is such a good series.

end of rant I think I need to get more mentally ill about Dahlia Hawthorne bc there is a lot of stuff for me to love there. also I think her and Mia deserve toxic yuri. god I love Mia Fey she is the only bisexual representation ever she has two hands and those are for both Lana Skye and Diego Armando ❤️❤️

the world's end (2013) i'll never know where to begin with how much this movie means to me - it inspired me to finally take the plunge and study film like i had always dreamed!! it's a treat to analyse, i love the characters, the themes hit hard, the soundtrack is inspired, it's endlessly quotable... it will always be perfect to me!!

tangled (2010) the very definition of a comfort movie, i watched it to death as a child and could probably recite the whole thing if you prompted me. probably the film with the biggest impact on my personality & tastes in subsequent media: i relate so strongly to rapunzel, and i love cosy and unexpectedly harrowing fantasy stories with well-developed character relationships.

back to the future (1985) another comfort movie, this time from my preteen/teen years!! meant a lot to me back then but became a full-blown special interest thanks to the musical adaptation. the movie is still a masterpiece, with its delightful central duo, inspired use of setup and payoff, and just for being a very human, tender sci-fi story surrounded by great action and comedy.

wolf children (2019) i'm not going to lie to you i rewatched this one recently and started sobbing less than half an hour in. a jaw-droppingly beautiful film that hits so much harder as an adult, and i can imagine it would hit even harder as a parent. the snow day scene is quite possibly my favourite scene in all of film. it looks stunning, its story is gorgeous and devastating to follow, and i can't recommend it enough if you haven't seen it.

klaus (2019) i hyperfixated on this one massively when i first saw it back in 2020, watching every single behind the scenes video put out by the studio on their youtube channel and learning everything there was to know about the concept, process and artistry of this film. rewatching it is my most important christmas tradition, and it's another film that makes me both cry and laugh every single time i watch it.

honourable mentions go to the lego movie 1 + 2, toy story 1-3, the scream movies, the fnaf movie, song of the sea, the holdovers, sweeney todd 2007... i think i love too many movies
