for the record, melli is usually very anti-pokeball. that being said, he wasn’t about to try and corral a “zoroark” back to the icelands without some means of containment, so he used the ones ingo gave him for emergencies.

been thinking about my interpretation of team skull skuntank...

some additional context under the cut:

Skuntank originally became an apprentice at the guild as a stunky. but after an incident he gave up on being a /proper/ explorer and left the apprenticeship program😔

inspired by duskull post main story he tries to rejoin the guild as an apprentice...(theres a bit more to this part but im leaving it out)

bibarel(bidoof evolves fairly soon after manny and duskulls graduation exam) goes w him to help him out.

they start exploring together more and more after he rejoins.

eventually bibarel replaces wigglytuff as the guildmaster and chooses skuntank as his second in command a few years down the line...

hisui league au my beloved. the triplets are in the highlands, safely located in ingo’s tent along with his massive, terrifying gliscor. (they don’t know who brought them there)

(gliscor is incredibly friendly but, much like his trainer, struggles to not look intimidating and unapproachable all the time.)
