Unveiling the Secrets of Skirt Rubber
Skirt rubber, also known as skirting rubber, is a heavy-duty rubber sheet used in industrial applications, particularly on conveyor belts. It acts as a seal along the edges of the belt, preventing material spillage, dust emission, and protecting the belt from impact damage.

'This Know-how Has Been Quietly Advancing Over The A long time'
Designer creates the Volkswagen Aqua, a hybrid hovercraft automobile vehicle. After considerable experimentation, Denys Bliss at Hovercraft Development Ltd. discovered the solution to this downside. As an alternative of using two separate rubber sheets to kind the skirt, a single sheet of rubber was bent into a U shape to offer each side, with slots reduce into the underside of the U forming the annular vent. When deforming strain was applied to the outside of this design, air stress in the rest of the skirt pressured the internal wall to move in as properly, retaining the channel open. Although there was some deformation of the curtain, the airflow inside the skirt was maintained and the raise remained comparatively steady. Over time, this design advanced into individual extensions over the underside of the slots within the skirt, often called "fingers". The operator should experiment with completely different throttle settings. At round 1600-1800 rpm, the craft will raise up on its cushion of air and at 2200 rpm shall be shifting forward slowly. Once the vehicle is planed out, good speed may be achieved at 2400 rpm. Full throttle must be 3100-3200 rpm.
Tumblr media
It's not very useful trying to compare the amount of fuel varied vehicles use with the intention to see which is the more efficient. There are effectivity formulation which may compare totally different transport automobiles, and one of the crucial famous compares "the amount of weight moved over a distance divided by time". As a result of distance divided by time is pace, the effectivity becomes weight moved by velocity. Now, in the event you divide by the energy required to move the burden at a sure pace, you may have one methodology for comparing various transportation means. The brand new Mini Thoughts Expander is an influence packed powder board for youth rippers. Young riders who usually journey a a hundred thirty five-140 cm board should go for the Mini Mind Expander 130 cm. Older youth who trip a one hundred forty-a hundred forty five cm board, check out the 138 cm. The Vanguard's hovercraft top speed of 40 mph (sixty four kph) on water may seem moderately modest when compared to the speeds of cars and some powerboats. However, the Vanguard is just not limited to 40 mph (64kph) in all circumstances. The operator should be aware of circumstances that may lead to unreasonably excessive speeds for the car and the operator's degree of expertise. For example, smooth water, ice, tail winds, and downhill could result in dangerously high speeds. Throughout the operator's preliminary experiences, speed ought to be saved under 20 mph (32 kph). This can require a significant throttle discount once airplane out is achieved. Since 2001 MAD Hovercraft build and sell quality Luftkissenfahrzeug for uses and they send them. Through the years, they are proud to have garnered countless customers' trust and loyalty. That's due to their hovercraft built with the latest technologies and quality materials to satisfy the maximum industry standards.

Not a Monster
[Diana x Brynn]
[AU where Diana works at an archery arena and hunts monsters in her spare time. Brynn is still half valkyrie but nobody actually knows about her ancestry. She lives on earth so she can learn more about humans.]
------------
The employee at the archery arena leans against the wall behind the register. She holds an open book in one hand and an apple in the other. She takes another bite out of the half-eaten fruit and turns the page. In gold letters, the hard cover reads The Odds and Ends of Monster Anatomy: A Pocket Encyclopedia for the Expert Hunter or Huntress. It was a gift to herself, along with a new model of night vision goggles. The copper name plate on her work-issued black shirt says Diana. Several scratches lie across the plate and the corners have worn down to a dull silver.
Diana listens to the children shrieking in the party room. She smirks as she hears strands of her co-worker’s voice. It seems the parents won’t discipline the rowdy kids so poor James has to do it himself. She feels bad but not enough to trade spots with him. She’s not on break but nobody’s lining up to register or pay for gear so she’s taking advantage of the situation.
The glass doors swing open and a group of people drone in. Diana judges that, based on the attire, they’re here for a company function. Many of them carry duffel bags or backpacks – probably filled with athletic clothing. She looks bemused. Most of those clothes probably haven’t been used in a while. She opens the ledger sheet on the computer.  She sees the entry for the birthday party and under that, she reads: Bee9 Solutions – 13:00, company package, 17 persons.
She tosses the rest of her apple into the bin under the counter and closer her book. Seventeen employees, all of them probably fed up with each other and annoyed at their boss, she smiles professionally, they’re going to eviscerate themselves.
A man approaches the counter. He has a chiselled beard and thinning hair. The suit he wears looks expensive. She registers his party and he shoves a business card under her nose. Politely, Diana pretends to tuck it into her pocket. She drops it in the waste bin when he looks away.
She leads them to the locker rooms and rounds them up to the armory once they’ve changed. She spells out the safety rules and shows them how to put the safety gear on. She watches as they fit arm guards and chest plates around their bodies. A cute, blond, lady catches Diana’s eye. Dozens of braids weave up her head and into a tight side bun. Diana muses over the intricacy of it. Must’ve taken her hours. Does she have to be so extra?
After issuing the bows and quivers of arrows, Diana address the large group.
“If you need anything come back to the armory. Look for someone in a shirt like mine – you can’t miss it, there are white targets printed on the back and the front of each shirt. I’ll be up in the arena rafters, reffing and watching for foul play. Have fun, kiddos.” She leaves just as Kayla arrives to open the arena doors. After a quick elevator ride, Diana steps out above the arena. The “rafters” is just one large platform that circles the arena. Two bridges intersect in the center, connecting the halfway points of the platform. They do a quick training with Kayla before she sets off the countdown on the large score board.
Diana watches with mild interest. The office drones handle the equipment better than she expected but their skills are dismal at best. Still, the insults they scream at each other are enough to entertain. She catches sight of the blond from earlier. Her braids catch the arena lights as she weaves between the obstacles. Diana leans against the metal railing and watches. This lady moves like she has wings on her back – her feet barely touch the ground. She nails most of her shots with compelling accuracy. Diana figures she must have prior training. She watches for the rest of the hour.
They regroup in the armory and Diana wanders among the employees, offering help with the armor. Casually, she makes her way over to the blond. If she wasn’t going to get a number, Diana at least wanted a name.
“Need any help?” She starts, lamely.
“That is kind of you.” The lady smiles, “I have enough practice to do it on my own.” She rips the Velcro apart on her arm guard. Her tone pitches high but not in a grating way. It pitches in a regal way – the sort of way that makes one shut up, sit and listen.
“It seemed like that. You’re pretty good, for an office drone. Almost as good as me.”
“My performance was lacking. I was trying to keep things fair for the other team.”
“Careful, they might hear you. What’s your name?”
“Brynn.”
“Brynn.” She hums. The name rolls off the tongue like butter. “Where do you usually do archery?”
“Sometimes the forest behind my apartment. In all honestly, I’m more prone to axe throwing.”
Diana gives her a once over. It’s questionable but Brynn certainly has the biceps of an axe-thrower. “You should try practicing in our complex. We have the newest equipment from this season and you won’t find prices like ours at other arenas.” Diana pulls a business card out of her pocket and holds it out between two fingers. “Besides, you’ll get to see this pretty face every time you walk in.”
Brynn takes the card from Diana. On the front is the name, phone number, email and fax number for the arena. On the back is Diana’s cell number. She has more of these cards, for specific situations such as this one. She raises a thin, blond brow, “It’s a little forward of you.”
“I’d hardly consider this forward. If it’s forward that you want, I can show you forward.”
Brynn’s eyes dart back to the small card, “I think I’ll pass. Perhaps I’ll send you a text tonight. It wouldn’t be too much trouble to get an employee discount?”
“None at all.” Diana smiles easily.
---------------
Brynn glides in through the automatic doors the next Tuesday. She wears a peach button down that tucks neatly into a navy pencil skirt. Her black pumps click against the linoleum. She’s already put her hair up in a tight bun. She’s made fewer braids this time but it’s still very intricate.
Diana stands behind the register and pretends to read. There’s a small, flat mirror concealed in the pages of her book. She checks the state of her double winged liner before she closes the book and puts it on the shelf under the counter. She watches Brynn click across the floor and envies the employees in her department.
Diana makes her way around the counter and takes Brynn to the locker room. They make small talk and ask about each other’s day.
“How do you do your hair like that?” Diana asks as they put on the armor.
“Magic.” Brynn answers, distracted with the straps on the chest plate. Diana decides that Brynn must be joking. The get their weapons and settle into the arena. Everyone’s gone home for the day. The score board remains dark, but Diana keeps track in her head.
Diana lets Brynn play man hunt for a while. She keeps hidden behind barriers and obstacles. She uses the tactic in competitions and, more frequently, on monsters. Eventually, the impatience wears on their higher-level thinking and they start to take riskier attacks. Brynn’s arrows nearly nick Diana a few times.
After ten minutes, she steals herself and loads her first arrow. She runs from the barrier and catches Brynn by surprise. The arrow leaves her fingers and the string reverberates through the bow. It heads straight for Brynn’s shoulder.
The arrow never hits its mark.
“Huh?” She’s not sure what went wrong. Brynn loads another arrow and the rubber head catches Diana’s side. The chase continues. Diana gets a chance to tie up the score. She misses again and this time she can see the way the arrow drifts slightly to the left, like something unseen diverts its course. By the end of the hour, she manages to score two hits. Brynn, despite the obvious advantage, only manages to land three arrows.
“Say… how did you get into archery?” Diana asks as they strip their armor. She doesn’t really listen as Brynn describes a sunny village and her fierce aunt. She watches the way Brynn removes the chest plate. The Velcro parts but her fingers barely clutch and pull at the straps. Her muscles flex in odd patterns and Diana notices fangs in her smile.
“Magic.” She remembers Brynn’s voice, powerful and uninterested. Fuck. Now you’ve done it. You’ve seduced a monster, Diana concludes. What even is she? Vamp? Fae?
“Diana, are you alright? You look a little pale.” They’ve moved into the locker room and Brynn is back in her skirt. “Did you drink enough water?” Her concern makes Diana’s heart skip.
The monster seduced you, more like.
“What? Oh, no, I’m fine, thanks.” She puts on a smile, “I realized that I … didn’t pay my cable bills this month.”
“Be thankful it wasn’t your credit balance.” Brynn closes the locker and Diana follows her out, shutting the lights on her way. “Do you have anything else going on tonight?” Brynn asks as Diana locks up.
Stakeout at a graveyard, she doesn’t say. “Thinking of you, probably.” Diana winks instead. Her mouth feels dry.
“Why don’t I take you axe throwing next week? My treat.”
“Sounds like an axe-cellent idea. I’m super axe-cited.” Diana imagines the way Brynn might lodge an axe into the thick bark of an ancient tree. She shivers pleasantly.
Brynn’s giggle delights Diana’s ears. “Great.”
Maybe she isn’t even a monster. She could be a different mystical being. Or a hybrid – hybrids aren’t technically monsters.
“Yeah… I’ll text you tomorrow.”
“Of course. Good night, Diana.” She gazes under her lashes at Diana.
“Good night.” Diana nods. She walks briskly to her red Toyota Yaris.
She can’t stop thinking of Brynn’s smile and the way the moon glittered against those pretty fangs.

What Should I Bring?
Greetings, intrepid camper! You may be wondering “how did I get myself into this mess?” or “what even does one bring camping??” Well fear not, brave soul, we have compiled a handy dandy guide just for you first, second, or hundredth-timers. Because we love you.
Tumblr media
This guide is divided into convenient sections for your perusal. Should our grouping stay within 35 people then everyone will have a cabin in which to stay, which will negate the last part of the guide.
This is My First Camping Trip, Please Help Me.
Yourself (glad to have you on board, it wouldn’t be a party without you!).
Your photo ID or passport. This should stay with you at almost all times.
Clean clothes for 4 days and 3 nights stay.
At least 4 pairs underwear/bras and socks, we recommend at least 1 extra of each just in case.
Shorts/pants/skirts for 4 days. At least 1 pair should be long pants.
Shirts/tank tops for 4 days.
Pajamas for 3 nights.
Pair of good walking shoes or hiking boots.
A hoodie (for us cold blooded lizard folk to wear at night to disguise our scaled faces with).
Optional: Swimming suit.
Optional: Sandals/swimming shoes.
Optional: Hat to keep the sun off your head.
Optional: Sunglasses or clip ons.
Optional: A hooded rain jacket (so you don’t melt if it rains).
Optional: If you are attending Bristol Renaissance Faire you may wish to bring your own costume. Costumes of any kind are welcome, so long as you don’t have any exposed steel or walk around in just pasties.
Optional: If you are attending the wine tasting at the vineyards you might opt for something super fancy to make you feel classy.
Toiletries
Your prescription medications.
Toothbrush.
Toothpaste.
Shampoo and conditioner.
Body soap.
Deodorant.
Sunscreen.
Bug repellent.
Sandals to shower in (no, really, get a pair of cheap flipflops to shower in).
Hair brush and/or comb.
Optional: Pads or tampons if shark week strikes.
Optional: Hair ties if you are of the long haired persuasion.
Optional: Glasses or contact cleaning solutions if you are a cyborg.
Optional: Shaving razor.
Optional: Skin lotion.
Optional: Hair dryer.
Optional: Makeup and hair styling products.
Phone and charger.
Flashlight and spare batteries.
Folding camp chair (if you are not flying in).
Optional: Binoculars.
Optional: Field guides.
Optional: Reusable water bottle with belt clip for hiking.
Optional: A book to read, useful if you have to wait for a pickup.
Optional: Laptop/tablet and charger. There is wifi, but it isn’t the greatest.
Optional: Camera, film, and extra batteries or charger.
A special note to our international visitors: Don’t worry about packing shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, soap, skin lotion, sunscreen, or bug repellent. If you do not have a special requirement and are not staying in the States before or after camp. Roki will happily provide those things for you. Just let us know in advance so she can be made aware to bring extra. This is to help with getting past TSA because their liquid requirements can be pretty screwy. If you are staying in the States before or after it will be easier on you to purchase those items once here. It saves you in airline baggage weight coming into the States and you cannot bring them with you as a carry on to help with that.
If you want to know more about that, check out this post: Travelling to the States from Canada. Bear in mind that it will differ from country to country and between airlines even, but it’s a good starting point.
Tumblr media
I am Staying in a Cabin
The cabins provide mattresses, so air mattresses are not required.
A pillow.
An extra blanket if you think you will need it.
Your own set of sheets (twin or full).
Tumblr media
I am Staying in a Tent or Sleeping on an Air Mattress
Your tent (or negotiate with someone to have them provide you one).
Rain fly for tent.
Stakes.
Tarp to put under tent.
Rubber mallet for stakes.
Optional: Small mat/bag to put shoes on inside tent. Prevents bugs getting in them, but also tracking mud inside.
Pro-tip: If you can, zip your tent so that the zippers are at the top of the door. This prevents curious critters from grabbing them at night.
A blow up mattress or sleeping mat.
Pump for blow up mattress.
Batteries for the pump if needed.
Bedding.
A sleeping bag to put over the mattress (put this down before the sheets to prevent loss of body heat through the night).

New Man (Part 21)
Tumblr media
Previous Parts & New Man On Wattpad
A/N: Thank you all for the 6.6K reads on Wattpad for this story! Sorry for the long wait on this part!
Scott and Luke began to talk over each other bombarding you with questions. You let out a small whimper and gripped at the table, breaking into their anger, and making them stop mid-sentence.
“I’m being extremely serious right now-I think…I think I’m going into labor,” you whimpered.
Luke looked as if he had just rolled out of bed. Beard grown in, hair a mess, eyes puffy, and bloodshot. There was no telling how long he’s been awake. Still in the same clothes from the day before. His pacing was starting to make Scott nervous. The brown haired man looked equally the same as the blonde, except his panic was more internal while Luke’s was external. Scott was crouched over his chair, head rested between his legs and eyes squeezed shut as he tried to get the sound of Luke’s shoes hitting against the tile floor out of his head. Luke kept glancing around the hallway looking for any sign of a doctor or nurse.
The two men had been told nothing since your arrival to the hospital. They had both been frightened. Scared half to death as you screamed in pain on the car ride there. This whole pregnancy had everyone stressed. Hospital visits left and right, anger, tears, accusations, and just straight up pain. It was too much. The more Luke and Scott waited to hear what was happening, the more they realized they were partially to blame. Luke began to wonder that if he had just stayed out of your relationship with Scott then maybe you wouldn’t be in this situation. The two of you would have gone on without knowing there was still love between each other. Scott on the other hand thought about everything he could have done differently the minute he heard you were pregnant. He could have been on board from the start, but now he’s about to lose someone he cares for. Both of them were in shock and all they wanted, all they desperately wanted was answers.
It was the sound of someone else’s footsteps that made Scott look up and made Luke stop in track. They both straightened up at the sight of Dr. Kay. “Dr. Kay, what’s going on? Is Y/N okay?” Luke questioned.
“Can we see her?” Scott quickly asked at the end of Luke’s question. They were both alert more than ever now. Teeth sinking into bottom lips, and fidgeting hands. All they wanted was answers. Dr. Kay raised her hand to stop them from saying anything else. Luke and Scott’s mouths clamped shut as if they were children being reprimanded by their mother. Dr. Kay was quiet as she pulled the clipboard from out under her arm. She scanned over the papers making Scott let out an audible agitated groan. He wasn’t in the mood for some soap opera moment and neither was Luke. “At first we thought it was braxton hicks,” she started, “But with the amount of pain Y/N was in we had to do some tests.”
“Was? You used past tense. What do you mean by was? Is she- is she-”
“Dead?” Scott finished off the question Luke was afraid to ask.
“Oh heaven’s no. Y/N is doing fine,” she reassured. Luke let out a cry of happiness, his shoulders visibly relaxing. “We gave her an epidural to take away the pain. She’s currently resting. . .” There was a long pause, so long that it made the two men place their protective guards up.
“What are you not telling us?” Scott questioned. His eyes narrowing into slits. Dr. Kay let out a small sigh and Luke’s eyebrows rose in question. He wanted to know more. He needed to know more.
“She’s gone into early labor due to so much stress and by the time she wakes up we have to prep her for delivery,” she told them. Luke nearly lost his balance at her words. His feet stumbling backwards until his back hit the wall. Nothing was ready. There was no nursery, no toys, nothing. Luke was about to become a father for the second time and for some reason he felt completely unprepared. Scott looked at Luke in confusion. It was in this moment that he saw Luke in a different light. Luke no longer seemed intimidating. He looked scared, vulnerable, and just a man that not only had to take care of himself, but also three other lives. Scott had no idea what it felt like to be a father. He had no clue about the sacrifices parents take for their children. The stuff men did to show who was the alpha male was no longer relevant. As Scott continued to truly see Luke for what he was, Scott realized he didn’t have the need to gloat anymore. In the end you had made your choice, the DNA results had made the choice, and what kind of man would he be to stand in the way of true love. You and Luke were destined for each other and Scott knew that. Deep down he knew it.
Scott did something he never thought he would do. He placed his hand on Luke’s shoulder and gave it a reassuring squeeze. Luke’s head shot up at the feeling and he gave Scott a quizzical look. At the same time Luke was sucking in deep breaths, trying to calm his nerves. “Can I stay? I promise I won’t try anything. I just want to make sure Y/N and the baby are healthy and doing well,” Scott asked.
“You want to stay?” Luke mumbled and swallowed hard. There didn’t seem to be any hidden meaning behind their words. Luke was genuinely surprised and Scott was being completely serious. The two men stared at each other for a bit, and Luke found himself nodding in agreement.
The steady beeping of the machine was what woke you up. Your eyes peeled open and slowly your brain began to register what was happening. You shifted in your spot only to feel a tug at your hand. A hum left your lips and you looked over to your right side to see Luke. “Hey Sugar Plum,” he whispered, the hand that wasn’t holding yours reached out to caress at your cheek.
“Hi,” you whispered back. You began to sit up some more and Luke watched on quietly. He was trying to find the right words to say. Wanting you to be prepared for what was about to take place.
“How are you feeling?” he asked, lifting your interlocked fingers and placing a kiss to your knuckles. You were slightly confused. The last time you checked, Luke was angry with you. Even before you had gone to the hospital.
“I feel fine. Did you talk to Dr. Kay? I know they gave me an epidural, but I wasn’t told much,” you said. Luke bit onto his bottom lip and he let out a deep sigh.
“She said you’re going into labor. . .actually you’re around eight maybe nine centimeters dilated,” Luke told you. Your eyebrows furrowed at his words. It came as a shock. You of course had been experiencing contractions there was no doubt about it, but what you hadn’t expected was to go into labor so soon. It was four in the morning and you could tell from the look on Luke’s face that he was exhausted as much as you were.
“N-Nine centimeters dilated?” you blurted, “I have to deliver soon!?!” Luke nodded quickly and he gave your hand another squeeze.
“I know I was surprised to find out the news too. In fact Dr. Kay thought you would’ve gone into labor yesterday afternoon,” Luke said, reaching out to smooth back your hair. The two of you stared at each other for a good second only to have it interrupted by a nurse coming in.
“Someone’s awake! How ya feeling?” the nurse questioned, placing on some rubber gloves and lifting the sheet that was covering you.
“Is it true that I’m going to deliver soon?” you asked, getting straight to the point. There was silence for a few seconds and you could feel the nurse measuring how much you were dilated. He looked up at you with a smile.
“That’s correct-you’re now ten centimeters dilated. We can start prepping you for delivery,” he said, pulling off the gloves. You stared in shock, mouth gaping open while the nurse began to unplug you from the monitors.
“I’m not ready-Luke I can’t,” you sputtered, gripping at his hand. Your breathing began to quicken and Luke started to do some breathing exercises with you.
“You are ready,” he stated, allowing you to grip his hand even further. “I know how strong you are and right now you gotta push that baby out. I’ll be right by your side just like the first time alright.” He sent another kiss to your knuckles just as Dr. Kay entered the room.
“Baby number two!” she cheered trying to ease your nerves. Though this moment will always make your nervous. Even with an epidural you still felt some type of pain just a dull one. The pain wasn’t even the worst part. It was the strength that went into something like this. The energy that gets sucked out. It’s the closest thing to death without actually dying. Skirting on the line of consciousness and unconsciousness. You would always remember the feeling of relief once it was over. It felt like bliss and once that small, but piercing cry could be heard, a swell of joy and love could be felt in your heart. You were capable of producing life. Nothing was impossible during that moment.
“Okay, Y/N this should go quick as long as you keep up your strength. On the next contraction I want you to push,” Dr. Kay instructed. You nodded rapidly at her words as your hand reached out for Luke’s. His warm hand slid into yours and you let a small smile embrace your face. It had been such a long time since you’ve smiled and it was one that showed both excitement and nervousness.
“Oh wait!” Luke mumbled, reaching into the pocket of his pants to pull out his phone. “I don’t have my actual video camera this time, but a phone camera should do just fine.” Luke gave you a small nod just as Dr. Kay was telling you to push. You gripped onto Luke’s hand with all your might, face scrunching up as you began to push.
“Don’t forget to breathe, Y/N,” Dr. Kay reminded. You let out a strangled groan at her words and sucked some air into your lungs before pushing even more.
“You’re doing great, Y/N,” Luke said in encouragement. He glanced at the phone screen for a quick second before turning his attention back on your. You began to pant, trying desperately to catch your breath. A whine left your lips and your head fell back in exhaustion. There was no telling how long you’d been pushing. It felt like hours to you when in reality it may have been ten minutes. “Don’t stop now the baby’s almost here,” Luke said, wiping your sweaty forehead with a towel. You shook your head twice and an agonizing cry left your lips at the pain. You could feel the tears rushing down your face.
“I can’t,” you cried out, your body felt weak and you probably looked it too. Luke was still filming, but all his attention was place on you.
“Yes you can. With everything you’ve gone through. Y/N, I know your strong enough, just a few more minutes of pain. Push that baby out.” He whispered in your ear. The tone of his voice was sweet as ever, soothing almost, and it was only for a brief second, but you could have sworn you felt Luke kiss at your temple. That was all it took and before you knew it, you were sucking in a deep breath and pushing. Not long after a new life was brought into the world.

Examine The Most Popular Types Of Fishing Lures
Tumblr media
A fishing lure is a form of artificial fishing bait that is used to attract the fish. The lures are available in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors, each meant to  capture a specific species of fish. Of course, what works for one fish does not work for another. Well, how would you choose the right fishing lure? Here we’ll look at the most popular fishing lures.
Crankbaits – Crankbaits are strong plastic lures designed and colored to represent bait fish or other prey are known as plugs or crankbaits. They are made of strong or porous plastic board with a thin metal or plastic sheey stuck to the front. A lip is the name for this sheet. Plugs can float, sink, or dunk based on their design.
Jigs - Jigs have a hook on one hand and a balanced head on the other. Jigs are one of the most common styles of fishing lures, and they come with either a feather skirt or a plastic grub. Jigs sink quickly due to their weight. They're perfect for bottom feeders just because of that.
Spinnerbait Lures – The spinnerbait lures vary from other lures just because they travel horizontally across the water. They come in a variety of shapes and shades, focusing on the depth and species targeted. Spinnerbaits have a skirted hook on one side and one or two metal blades on the other that rotate like a propeller.
Spoons – Spoons are metal lures with a curved, concave shape. When they float across the sea, their concave form causes them to shimmer and wobble. The broader the drooper, the larger the curve.
Soft Plastics - Soft plastic lures are lightweight rubber baits that resemble a number of marine animals. Some of them are minnows, crabs, and crawfish, as well as lizards and frogs. Bass fishing also utilizes soft plastics.
Flies – The flies are a kind of fishing lure that have been used in fly fishing for years. They can now be utilized for spin fishing as well. These lures are designed to  look like birds, crustaceans, or other prey using furs, feathers, or thread.
At Adrenaline Tackle, our custom lures Australia  are made of high quality materials with unique designs that are best for fishermen and women. Week one
TUESDAY
Today we had a second design presentation from all the new season designers. This was really useful as not all of us had watched all the presentations. The opera design presentation hasn't happened yet so I’m just communicating with Emeline about her design over teams.
Here are the notes I made from the meetings and from our discussions with Laura today.
Lauras introduction
Terroir and The Electric
vinyl tiles
Scaffold around the screen
Cyc- what kind of Cyc?
Pub carpet- source a base carpet and paint the pattern on using a stencil. Lazer cut the stencil
Traditional wooden pub bar ideally made from ply not matt so we don't have to make the grain.
Musical
concrete floor? not really any set
Opera ( Important for me to know)
Minimal.
Vinyl floor, parquet style
Big drapes- what fabric is it ? what does it need to do, projections?
Plants- huge real plants ideally. Cost? Real or fake? keep in mind that plants are non essential in covid times. can you get a hold of the items you will need? start huge not small. look into office company that hire out plants . will the plants get broken ? what are the covid requirements.
Art Deco furniture
Cane screens
get references of the bars to cost up
like a posh Poirot hotel.
Look at Celtic prop hire.
Plants might be a make.
your job is to assist Emeline ad source things for the show and then make any thing that can't be found.
look at the props list ad see what is a make.
compare prices for making, buying and hiring.
Make sure things exist so that the design can be changed in time if something isn't achievable
Meet with the ASMs asap.
If the screens have to be the same as each other they will be a make most likely.
look at the studio 54 parquet floor as reference.
find a vinyl floor, the cheaper the better. check with companies if they have produce in stock and when we can get them delivered by.
Get the mood boards.
Model presentation is on Thursday.
ask for a list of things to find.
look at Somerset willow company for pre made rattan screens.
if we make the screens will probs be using ply and the CNC machine.
may have to make compromises on the parquet flooring as it is quite stylised.
you will work with Chloe, work on the same costing sheet.
Be as economical as you can.
Starr cadding the screens.
Is the folding stepladder a make ?
Check on the unusual table.
find out how the furniture and plants will be moved around the space.
bars- find or make ?
unusual chairs ?
sourcing for neon signs ? how specific are they?
cinema chair could be a make ?
Shiny gold Lame bean bag. get a refill of beans. how big is the bean bag ? covid rules with multi casting. look in the holes catalogue.
probs gonna take two 4m widths of flooring to cover the space.
will have to fire proof any fabric for the bean bag that is not mean for theatre ect.
will any actors be allergic to the fire proofing ad it may leave a slimy coating, not pleasant. also how much will it cost to fire proof things, factor this in.
OPERA POSSIBLE MAKES
Plants
Rattan screens
music stand
key? is it an ornate key?
neon signs.
Other mentions
Allie needs help on costume.
mosaic, turning this into an archeological dig.
borrowers- added extra, don't stress about it.
Be where you are needed, let Laura know where you are.
PRESENTATIONS
Dan
solar panels for costumes are a possibility. Shiny black, dance floor vinyl for the solar panels? put this onto rubber? leather? Talk to costume about sizes of the panels. Bevel Lino cutter? make patterns in this way ? Rorie - putting vinyl in the laser cutter?
Terroir
Back bar, bar- rich red mahogany, staining ply wood. water based stains, dark oaks and mahogany to age. satin glaze, sanded back for wear and tear. dust in the cracks. mixed with the ageing because it has to work over all the timelines. make any dirty down/wear and tear subtle. a panelled bar, skirting/cladding to get this effect but might. need painting differently in order to match them.
Carpet- dark deep red with dirty down. might be cleaning the carpet after every show so keep this in mind. gonna need covent garden primer for this. Acrylic carpet, stencil paper, colours Rosco and dirty down. no 3D textured dirt on the carpet.
banner- to the class of 2020 painted and clearly hand made.
The Electric
Concrete Slabs
Cracked tile

dividing screen- muslin over ?dirty dow the muslin to create a dividing wall. make a sample of BP screen under some muslin. this should be on hinges to be easily packed away if possible. 8ft by 6ft by 6ft
Bar- matt finish. Saded back. Graffiti pens. look at grass city Abergavenny.
Stickers/ posters
sticky stains, patches. of stick alcohol /could be mistaken for blood.dirt in the cracks. make the texture as minimal as possible so that the carpet can sit flat over it. some smoother and some rougher textures. pitted. do research into cast slabs.
Tiles- showing the concrete and grouting underneath. Red, Grey, Beige ceramic tiles.
make speakers/ light up
door- frosted glass, wire criss cross stencil on the glass.
Columns- painted black and textured plaster. graffiti and scuffed.
scuffed steel deck- clad the edges of the steel deck- wallpaper, plastic stuff?

Bea (The toll)
Half mud, half grass.
3m high security cameras.
more of a dirty, damp earth texture, bad soil.
dirty down plastic chairs  (7 or 8) the dirt needs to stay on the chair the they are wiped-  Covent Garden primer, natural sponges
Road signs- 1.5m wide, 1 new and 1 completely distressed.
prime floor with watered down PVA. 50/50 depending on how liquid the PVA is. do this between layers and only when the final paint job is done.
font of the signs. cut out vinyl, reflective vinyl.
Ellen (The Ache)
Earth- dry dusty earth. vermiculite to give a shimmer to the earth?
Steel frames/ screens- coloured latex to paint red on the screens ? what Finnish on the frames?
