because I'm thinking so hard about the damn roleswap au I might as well ramble about it:
Ven still eventually ends up in a relationship with both Jorgan and Elara, though the development of it is much much weirder than in the version of events where she's just their commanding officer (how do you make that power imbalance less of a problem? apparently by contrasting it with a world where you are literally on opposite sides of a war. ???) - Ven meets them on Manaan and starts to pass information to the Republic. This is made more difficult by the fact that their commanding officer, her brother, has no idea it's her (and vice versa) and despises all Sith on principle, even if they're changing sides, but the trio makes it work well enough to have exchanged a brief, fraught "I love you" right before the whole five year time skip thing
When it comes to romances I could actually play in game with her, she's definitely thought about Lana that way, but never trusted her. enough for it. for almost all the time she knows Lana before the Alliance, she's working against Lana and the Empire, making them enemies even if Ven has respect for Lana. By the time the Alliance rolls around, they both privately feel like any possible ship has sailed for them, and Ven is so caught up in her "I hate that I'm Sith" self-loathing that's been exacerbated by finally working openly with Republic people that a relationship with a Sith would not go well anyway. Andronikos was the other most likely candidate for romance when I thought about this initially, but he gets a glimpse of her at her most vulnerable very early on, and that childlike image stays with him - the relationship they build is very much an older brother-younger sister energy, and Ven clings to him in this way especially because she misses her brother so much. Andronikos' prickly exterior and deep well of care for her is a lot like Nalyan, which pisses them both off when they finally meet each other. (Ven just enjoys that she has TWO brothers now!)

No one asked for it but here it is! My personal ranking of Swtor companions from most to least favourite (in a more general sense this time since there’s so many) (sidenote this is entirely based on the og class storylines as I have not found time to play/read through the extended games yet) (tw for bad and inconsistent grammar):
TOP FIFTEEN
Vector Hyllus (IA) - bug boy❤️
Lord Scourge (JK) - let me romance him you cowards (obligatory statement that yes i am aware of post-onslaught romance but i don’t want to have to play through all that just to bang him)
Blizz (BH) - BLIZZ!!!!!!!
Risha (S) - one of the most detailed, nuanced companions in the game, my wife, top tier female love interest, she doesnt just have backstory she has Backstory ™️
Andronikos Revel (SI) - many points for the coolest name in star wars. ok like i think his character concept is kinda boring comparatively but they pull it off so well as a romance arc. he feels very real and human and natural and i like that he keeps the inquisitor grounded by being the everyman in a story about sith sorcery and going insane because of ghosts in your brain
Akaavi Spar (S) - she is SO hot. the superior Mandalorian like Torian Cadera who?
Treek - TREEK!!!!!!!
Kira Carsen (JK) - my first ever swtor love. she has a special place in my heart
Jaesa Willsaam (SW) - let me have lesbian sex with her
Qyzen Fess (JC) - i looove him, easily one of the most interesting characters and the deep dive into trandoshan lore is so fascinating and interesting
Vette (SW) - she’s my darling 🩷 i would die for her. i bonded with her so much cause i play female characters as a rule and her whole character and relationship with the female warrior is about her craving sisters and sisterly relationships and then finding that in the warrior. and at the same time that i was playing that class i was repairing and working on my real life relationship with my little sister who i’m now very close to. so Vette is my sister. plus if you play as female you still get to hit on Tivva (just not sleep with her) and the dialogue is extremely amusing to me
Elara Dorne (RT) - in game doing that sweet pseudo-enemies to lovers with Jorgan so my character meeting Elara was like FINALLY someone who i don’t hate. out of game i was like FINALLY my autistic companion. it’s not a swtor playthrough without at least one autistic companion
Holiday (JC) - she COUNTS ok!!!!
Aric Jorgan (RT) - cat boy husband
Khem Val (SI) - objectively one of the best companions, if not the best. he’s just so low because i have more emotional attachment to the ones above
MIDDLE FIFTEEN
Torian Cadera (BH) - super well written romance especially when you get to the GenoHaradan arc, an underrated love interest (at least in the circles i run in online). however. sir we need to have words about that facial hair. also i guess it’s not an old republic game without at least one character that makes me say “they are NOT a nineteen year old”
Kaliyo (IA) - i get that she could rub people the wrong way but she’s my bestie. plus she coined the nickname bug boy for Vector
Tharan Cedrax (JC) - the superior version of Doc
SC0RPI0 (IA) - they gave that droid madonna cone titties. also i was so excited by her since i found the previous agent companion so bleh
Malavai Quinn (SW) - time to drop a controversial opinion…i think he’s overrated. like don’t get me wrong he’s a fantastic love interest, he’s just hyped up a LOT compared to other love interests and i think he maybe only deserves like 85% of the hype he gets (which is still a lot!). i just think he has a lot of the traits tumblrinas go nuts for and then they act like that makes him superior to other love interests when that’s not necessarily the case. and i say this as someone who romanced and placed him higher on this list than several other love interests so im being objective here. on a more positive note his deadpan humor is greatly enjoyable, and i find it very entertaining that when his health bar drops but is still like halfway full he starts saying shit like “my death is imminent” overdramatic king
Xalek (SI) - the superior inquisitor apprentice
Zenith (JC) - let me romance him you cowards but im far less passionate about this one than i am about Scourge (yeah yeah the expansions i want him to be my MAIN story love interest in the origin)
Broonmark (SW) - i love my giant murderous fluffy alien monster baby
M1-4X (RT) - i do enjoy being told how amazing i am on a regular basis. the most egotistical character let alone the most egotistical droid but unlike other swtor companions he pulls off having one single character trait cause he’s funny about it
Doctor Lokin (IA) - the mad scientist thing is very cool but i feel like for me personally it was not as cool as it sounds in theory
T7-O1 (JK) - teethree 2.0 and since they made teeseven like several hundred years old anyway i genuinely do not understand why they didn’t just make him T3-M4
Lieutenant Felix Iresso (JC) - literally only exists for me as eye candy (and what a good job of it he does)
2V-R8 - they gave that poor droid anxiety
C2-N2 - i love my aromatherapy droid
Yuun (RT) - he’s just so nice! so pure, so wholesome. marge simpson voice i just think he’s neat
BOTTOM FIFTEEN
Talos Drellik (SI) - am a huge nerd over history and archaeology…literally me in star wars…so why don’t i like him more??? absolutely no idea it’s just a vibe. also not to be mean but according to the swtor encyclopedia he’s supposed to be younger than Quinn…bb girl you did not age well
Corso Riggs (S) - idk i mean he’s cute and all, and we’ve established that i love my autistic companions (plus he’s very luke-skywalker-my-favorite-character coded) but like he came across too young for me to want to romance him with the smuggler character especially with how superior the girl love interests are. Much potential as a bestie though
Guss Tuno (S) - i literally have no memory. could not tell you a thing about him. oh wait except this insanely hilarious line I came across the other day while casually reading wookiepedia (as one does) that goes pretty hard and honestly yoinked him up from the bottom of the list: “You've never known real rage until you've been lectured on controlling your emotions by a four-year-old in a robe.”
Sergeant Rusk (JK) - he sure is there i guess
Nadia Grell (JC) - i cannot wrap my head around anyone wanting to romance her. it just feels icky to me. like i can handle a lot of the power imbalances in the other romances but this one is just too much for me, especially if you’re a light side jedi
Ashara Zavros (SI) - yawn. she will never be Jaesa Willsaam no matter how hard she tries. pretty tho
Doc (JK) - bootleg Tharan Cedrax
Lieutenant Pierce (SW) - if i have to hear about the Bastion one more time i stg….ruined the trooper chapter three story for me. he’s not lower only because i enjoy that his dynamic with Quinn is literally just them
Tumblr media
Ensign Raina Temple (IA) - god she is so boring
Bowdaar (S) - deep sigh of course the smuggler is the one who gets the wookiee companion. bootleg Zaalbar
Tanno Vik (RT) - on the one hand his recruitment quest made me want to shoot myself in the face seven hundred times…on the other hand he has that fuckoff awesome sword…much to consider…
Gault (BH) - so one note and that makes me sad. yeah so are a lot of companions but he’s neither adorable enough or funny enough to pull it off. i guess he does have a sliver of likability such as his ex-girlfriend storyline that makes him able to endear himself to me just enough
HK-51 - sigh i guess it’s not an old republic game without an HK unit
Mako (BH) - grow some balls girl. i genuinely don’t even know why i hate her so much. you’re telling me this girl’s supposed to be a bounty hunter? don’t make me laugh. maybe if she develops a real personality. im so mean to her for absolutely no good reason i really do turn into a high school bully about this girl. if someone wants to psychoanalyze me and tell me why i despise Mako that would be much appreciated
Skadge (BH) - yikes

Hi! Returning your ask right back at you hehe
So, which companions from the class stories do you dislike the most?
And which ones do you like the most? :)
Tumblr media
(Returning the boop, too, of course!)
Ok, so here goes!
The companions I dislike/like the most-
Jedi Knight: I honestly would like Doc more if the devs didn't make him pushy with the flirting, but I dislike Rusk a bit more. At least Doc has a personality and has funny banter with the other companions- Rusk is just there taking up space.
The companion I like in JK: Kira. She mashes well with my JK. Oh and T7! best droid.
Trooper: It's between M1 and Yunn- I'm just not fond of them. Along with Vik. Honestly, both Yunn and Vik are forgettable.
The companion I like in Trooper: Elara. She's just so sweet and her friendship route is great!
Bounty Hunter: Skadge. Just Skadge.
The companion I like in BH: I can't pick one- Maybe Mako or Blizz.
Sith Warrior: The Bloody Murder Mop! I mean Broom- Broonmark! I'm just not fond of him and he's forgettable. I might have killed him without realizing it-
The companion I like in SW: Hmm, I'll say it's between LS Jaesa and Vette.
Jedi Consular: I'm not fond of Zenith. I don't hate him, but I'm more neutral towards him.
The companion I like in JC: Nadia she's a little sister to my JC. Qyzen is a close second.
Smuggler: I'm not fond of Guss with the stant he pulled on Hoth, but my Smuggler punched him so they're even! I might grow more fond of him when I finally beat Smuggler.
The companion I like in Smuggler: Risha. I just like her no nonsense attitude with Skavak.
Imperial Agent: Honestly- I like everyone in the Imp story. If I have to pick one- it's probably SCORPIO.
The companion I like in IA: Vector. He's an interesting character and like a brother to my IA.
Sith Inquisitor: Xalek- He's just blend. He could've been flashed out more.
The companion I like in SI: It's between Ashara and Khem.

Another sketch page. I really like figuring out the dynamics between my dudes (maybe one day I’ll roll some men folk even. I think blueberry boys are in my future!)
I think Mass Effect sketches in a similar fashion may be next as I work through my insanity Soldier run.
As last time a bunch of info dumping on my Legacy.
Theron & Charlie just before Nathema. She’s very in love and therefore about to be real pissed. Just so furious because it’s easier than being heartbroken. In my canon run it’s Winter, Charlie, Codex & Lana that ultimately track him down.
Codex and Emer (pronounced ey-mer) passing some time on Odessen. Codex hasn’t found Vector yet at that point, and they enjoy fooling around with Emer. Not just for the physical connection but because it brings them a greater understanding of the inner workings of the Sith and Dark Council.
Codex is the product of their Cipher training, they’re calm, collected and nearly impossible to read. They typically report directly to Lana and actually become very close with Esskelle who shares many of their personality traits. They both also have a bit of a masochistic streak.
Emer didn’t romance Quinn. I’m considering Risha, Elara or even Senya. Emer is fairly typical Sith she’s passionate and full of rage she readily brings to battle. She’s also petty and egotistical. However she’s fiercely loyal to those in her good graces. She loves Vette like a sister and it is to Vette’s credit that Emer is not a complete monster.
Esskelle taking a hit in training. Showing off her tattoo that is a massive pita. I still need to work out a full design for her arm. I also need to work out how she lost it. I want to say as an injury while being trapped in carbonite, or during an encounter with Vaylin. She’s still clunky with it but is quickly learning how to use the weight to her advantage.
Aric doing some training. Mostly cause I love cat man and his VA, but also cause I need to practice drawing masc folks.
Izzy (Isra’fael) doing some exercising. She’s a smuggler who has a decent reputation and joined the Alliance to make money (which she has). She’s hyper competitive with Charlie and it frustrates her to no end that Charlie is better than her in most things despite being (in her mind) dumber and less prepared. In pushing herself constantly she’s become a valuable asset that Hylo is particularly fond of. She also gets on very well with Vette as they share similar backgrounds and a love for a good caper.
Aric and Leyliana’s reunion makes me feel stuff. Him thinking she’s been dead for five years and then she appears out of the blue and he’s skeptical and nervous but she smells and looks and speaks just like he remembers. I’m gonna have to write about it for real here soon.

Some swtor companions that Seren thinks they should had been romanceable in vanilla base game:
Jedi Knight:
if it wasn't for the Master/Student thing that puts me off, I would had considered Kira for wlw option without forcing the PC to be Kira's teacher (when she already has Bela as her Jedi Master).
Lord Praven. Just replace Scourge with Praven bc he has more potential to the story.
Jedi Consular:
Attros Finn. And should had been a companion instead of Tharan.
Felix Iresso as bi option for female and male consular. People are seriously missing out on him and Felix's a sweetheart.
Smuggler:
Akaavi Spar for wlw option only. Absolute crime to make a butch woman restricted to hetero option 👿. let my lady smuggler climb her like a mountain asdfghjkl.
Republic Trooper:
Elara Dorne as bi option for male and female Troopers. Elara's a sweetheart.
Sith Warrior:
Vette for wlw option. Because I like Vette and she should had been romanceable by both male and female Warrior.
Darth Vowrawn for bi option.
Light Sided Jaesa for many reasons but Master/Student thing still icky to me.
Sith Inquisitor:
Andronikos Revel as bi option for male and female Inquisitors. Enough said.
Bounty Hunter:
I don't romance anyone on Bounty Hunter but I could suggest Mako and Torian as polyamory option for both male and female Bounty Hunter tbh.
Imperial Agent:
Darth Jadus.
....
....
I'm not going to explain about this unless you have followed me and saw my Jadus contents, you can see why.

Note.
Since I don't stay subscribed to swtor for too long, I can only have so many characters in each server. That, along with the fact that I made most of these legacies based on how they work story wise rather than server wise, is why there are characters from multiple servers in the legacies (really only for the Sardath Legacy lmao)
These legacy names don't all apply to the actual legacies in each server. In Satele Shan it's the Tano Legacy, Star Forge is the Vendethl Legacy, and Darth Malgus is the Sisko Legacy.
Also, some characters have the same last name, this usually means they are siblings (like Fee and Senrionell, Feista and Rysen'ii, Tallati and Therevor, etc), but it can also mean they are related as child and parent (in the case of Findrali being Finya's son), or cousins (such as Elshi with Fen and Xandr). It could also mean that they are simply relatives in a large family (Hagley with Feista and Rysen'ii). This also means that they might not know each other very well, or at all.
I don't have everything planned out for my characters here since a fair amount of them I just make and then don't play lol. But! I do want to expand on this idea more because I find it interesting to have my ocs interact like this (ie have one character be the alliance commander and the others fit in elsewhere)
I am more than willing to answer any questions anyone has about these little guys and expect more stuff on this in the future!!
End note.

(Skadge is Awful) Forced Companions Daycare, 010
On THURSDAYS, FCD is staffed by T7-01 and LORD SCOURGE. T7-01: Children = fell over a lot yesterday while T7 was out // T7 = glad T7 bought lots of kolto packs LORD SCOURGE: I suspect that if you had spent the entire day overseeing the children, there would not have been such a need for kolto packs. T7-01: Lord Scourge = mistaken // SCORPIO = very conscientious LORD SCOURGE: It is not her conscientiousness I question. She takes exhaustive notes and is very methodical. It is simply the benefit to the children I am skeptical of. BABY ELARA: Teeseven! Teeseven! BABY ELARA points to where BABY SKADGE is jumping on BABY VETTE. BABY SKADGE: Kill! Kill! Kill! BABY ELARA: Shouldn’t we arrest him or something? T7-01: Arrest = no-no // this galaxy = no meaningful consequences for bad companion behavior BABY KALIYO, toddling by: That is a truly interesting statement. T7-01: Skadge = play nice // or Skadge = gets hose again LORD SCOURGE: I will never understand how SCORPIO talked you into that disciplinary measure, but I love that she did. BABY SKADGE: Someday I’m’a stomp your lekku, little alien. T7-01: Skadge = already did stomp her lekku // Skadge = terrible person BABY SKADGE lumbers sulkily off. BABY VETTE: Ow. BABY DOC: Somebody’s hurt! Wait, I’m there! BABY DOC sprints in waving a medpac the size of his head. BABY DOC: You’re gonna be okay, beautiful. BABY VETTE: Um? You’re kinda creepy. BABY DOC: I once saved a whole planet of cute little Twi’leks from big mean Houks. LORD SCOURGE: That is an outright lie. BABY DOC: Just play along, would you? LORD SCOURGE: No. BABY DOC: It’s all right, babe. I got this. BABY DOC finishes applying kolto to BABY VETTE’s bruises, then sweeps BABY VETTE up and sloppily kisses her cheek. BABY VETTE: EEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWW BABY DOC, alarmed, drops BABY VETTE back on the floor. T7-01: Baby Doc = acting out // Lord Scourge = give him a talking-to about inappropriate urges? LORD SCOURGE: I am Sith. I never met an inappropriate urge I didn't like. T7-01: T7 = bad at talking-tos // Baby Doc = always commences dance party using T7's beeping as techno beats LORD SCOURGE: I cannot be bothered with this. You, Bowdaar. Clean this up. YOUNG BOWDAAR, helping BABY VETTE off the floor: I AM A SLAVE. BABY VETTE: Ow. YOUNG BOWDAAR, offering her a medpac and a lollipop: I AM A SLAVE. BABY VETTE: I do keep hearing that. How are you liking it as a career path? YOUNG BOWDAAR, struggling to articulate: …I do not like that I AM A SLAVE. BABY VETTE: Huh, okay. Just figured I would keep my options open.

Which of your SWTOR Companions are NOT with the Alliance?
I was inspired by this post by @swtorpadawan.
It's a good question, and it got me thinking (slowly, as always). For now, I've come up with fates of companions in Lette Legacy (Jett as the Outlander), and will work on others later.
Warning - Mentions of established character deaths below. And lots of spoilers for KotFE and everything after it.
In my headcanon the events of KotFE and onwards are different from in-game version, which impacts the fate of some companions. The most relevant differences are the fates of class characters (Bounty Hunter, Jedi Consular, Smuggler and Agent are in the Alliance; Jedi Knight, Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor and Trooper are not with the Alliance for different reasons) and the fact that the Alliance does not participate in the renewed war between the Republic and Sith Empire, choosing to stay neutral.
Also, the state of companions changes with time, so this is for the time around the events of 7.0 in SWTOR.
Jedi Knight crew:
Fideltin Rusk - continues his military service in the Republic.
Doc - after Ossus stays to help the Jedi in the renewed war.
Jedi Consular crew:
Zenith - continues anti-Imperial activities.
Tharan Cedrax - survives the Imperial attack on Meridian Complex and continues to work for the Republic.
Nadia Grell - after Ossus stays with the Jedi.
Trooper crew:
Elara Dorne - continues her military service in the Republic as a part of the Havoc Squad, takes Jorgan's place as second in command after he joined the Alliance.
M1-4X - stays with the Republic as part of the Havoc Squad.
Tanno Vik - does whatever he was doing in chapter 6.
Sith Warrior crew:
Malavai Quinn - stays with the Empire as one of Acina's officers.
Major Pierce - continues his military service in the Empire.
Jaesa Wilsaam - disappears after Emperor's Wrath's death, current whereabouts unknown.
Broonmark - killed while trying to assassinate a Wookiee senator on Alderaan.
Vette - killed by Vaylin on Odessen.
Sith Inquisitor crew:
Khem Val, Andronikos Revel, Talos Drellik and Xalek - all stay in the Sith Empire and work for Darth Nox.
Ashara Zavros - killed by apprentices of Darth Nox.
Bounty Hunter crew:
Skadge - just does his thing, if nobody shot him yet. (I don't even count him as companion, but since he is a companion in the game, I guess I had to add him). Jett never met him again after dropping him somewhere shortly after Belsavis.
Imperial Agent crew:
Vector Hyllus - continues his duties as Dawn Herald.
SCORPIO - merged with Iokath.
Kaliyo - dropped out of the Alliance after Vaylin is dealt with. I just don't think she would stick for much of what comes next.
So 22 out of 40 companions from class stories are not with the Alliance (obviously Kaliyo, SCORPIO and Vette were a part of the Alliance).
Honorable mention: Raina Temple - officially is not with the Alliance, but working with them to maintain communication between the Alliance and the Chiss Ascendancy.

Note
You mentioned your JC in the Aelirra/Kira headcanons. Do any of your other class characters play any roles with the Alliance or ever meet either Aelirra or Ves?
Most of them do join the Alliance and have met Ael/Ves at some point in their lives! Save for my Sith Warrior, who's only met Ves (and hated her ass), and my Bounty Hunter, who's done neither.
thenk for ask <3 now time for brain go BRRRRR (warning cos yall know how long-winded i can get. add: ohmygod it got hella long)
Tumblr media
Sedoyin is Aelirra's oldest, closest friend. They met way back on Tython, finding kinship as two talented padawans whose fledgeling fame had formed a degree of social separation between themselves and others of their generation.
They kept in close contact through their class stories, and Sedoyin was devastated to hear that Aelirra was gone after Darth Marr's expedition ended in disaster. When word of the Alliance and its Jedi Commander spread, Sedoyin was one of the first to travel to Odessen with her Jedi students, and offer her aid.
As Barsen'thor, she co-leads the Force Enclave with Sana-Rae, providing guidance to Jedi and Sith alike, and training Force healers for the Alliance. A diplomat as well, she helps ease tensions between their Jedi and Sith residents, and cajoles more Republic contacts into supporting the Alliance.
Tumblr media
Roziq met Aelirra years back on Makeb, where they worked together to evacuate the planet's population. They found mutual respect for each other as defenders of the Republic, and Roziq admired Aelirra's steadfast compassion for all - a reminder to herself that mercy is always an option even in the bloodiest war.
When she heard of the Alliance and its Commander, Roziq wanted Havoc Squad to defect on the sly, and deal with the real threat of Zakuul. Most agreed. M1-4X and Elara refused, staying back to serve the Republic as they had sworn. It left a bitter taste on her tongue, but Roziq left her wife behind with a steeled heart, and Aric by her side. (It's alright, the parting was mutual and they'll reunite after :3)
Roziq serves the Alliance as Commander of their Spec-Ops division, under Admiral Aygo. She coordinates precision strikes against key Zakuulan targets, and often takes to the field with Havoc to hit back against the Eternal Empire.
Tumblr media
Uyomize had never met Aelirra or Ves - but she is a friend of Hylo Visz, who roped her into the Alliance. Though she balked at the thought of having to give her credits to the Alliance (instead of keeping that sweet dosh for herself), Hylo appealed to where Uyomize is weakest - her family.
Her mother is a renowned doctor on Coruscant. Her older brother is a Republic Commando. Her younger sister is a rising Republic bureaucrat. Her Republic ties are strong (despite her insistence to the contrary), and she is loyal to her family above all.
Working with Hylo, Uyomize pulls on her underworld contacts to scrape up credits, supplies, manpower for their covert operations. Often, she'll send people to...'relieve' pirates of their ill-gotten loot, and redirect it to the Alliance. Some of the 'pirates' maaay have been Imperials. cough.
Tumblr media
Zhaste'varu'mir (core name Evarum, or Eva for short) had intimately studied Intelligence's comprehensive profile on Darth Avriss. She knows how to manipulate Ves in myriad ways, but chose the most straightforward method into the Alliance - poison.
She contacted Ves under a pseudonym, met in a busy Nar Shaddaa cantina for the 'entrance interview', and slid to Ves a poisoned drink - "I will work for the Alliance - if you have the answers I want to hear. If not, you will return to Beniko in a body bag." Ves raised Eva's brow by downing the rest of the drink, and winning over one of the galaxy's best spies.
Eva has a deep distrust for hierarchy after her time as Cipher Nine. She works for the Alliance as an independent agent, with Ves as her sole handler. She feeds the Alliance intel stolen from deep within Zakuul, and performs solo espionage missions. When the Alliance aligns with the Republic, she stays and volunteers as an agent for Task Force Nova, finally working on her secret goal all along - to find her lost Force-sensitive sister.
Tumblr media
Chukaem knew of Aelirra, the Jedi who murdered her Emperor, and disdained the Alliance and its Commander. She served as Wrath until Acina threw in with the Alliance - which turned her away from the Empire, and led her to work alone in the shadows, executing anyone she deems a threat to the Sith.
When she learned that Aelirra had killed Vitiate again, she swore to end the Commander's life. But when the Alliance turned to the Republic - with Darth Avriss and Lana Beniko still within its ranks - her priorities shifted. Traitors first. Jedi filth next.
Ves is at the top of her shit list. They'd worked together on Makeb, and came away with bad impressions of each other. Chukaem sensed, accurately, that Avriss did not share her (zealous) loyalty to the Sith Empire and its Emperor. She tolerated it because Avriss served the Empire well as Councilor. Now that Avriss has turned... Chukaem looks forward to destroying her. Personally.
Tumblr media
Djixas has met neither Aelirra nor Ves, and has no desire to. She is loyal only to the Mandalorians, and follows where Shae Vizla leads. When Shae pledged Mandalorian support to the Alliance, Djixas followed.
But where Torian was assigned as a representative on Odessen, Djixas led her brothers and sisters on offensives against Zakuul - be it on ground or in space, she planted the fear of Mandalorians in Zakuulan hearts with every battle. She is one of Shae's best lieutenants, and is almost always on the field.
As of Ruhnuk, she remains loyal to Shae, but operates semi-independently to gather intel for Mandalore (with Mako's help).

Legend of Lightning 115. Trials and Visions
https://archiveofourown.org/works/43208574/chapters/120809782
Tumblr media
“I’m ready to leave, if that’s all.”
“There is one last thing. Our Visions are granted by tablets such as these. Your journeys in this space have unlocked a Vision for you, and you only.”
Oh? This is interesting. “Show me.”
The world around him turned to mist, and reformed into a spectacular tableau. He was standing in the center of a large, circular room. Or at least, a phantasm of him did. He watched from a vantage point on one of the balconies. He could see himself, and much of the crowd.
Light poured through the windows, and he heard birds chirping from beyond.
Theron Shan and Kira stood at his left. Kira looked older and worn. The pale blonde Sith from his previous Vision stood even closer, on his right, with T7 in front of her. She wore flowy, loose robes. Jasme stood near the door, watching him with equal parts nerves and pride. An angry-looking woman dressed in Voss robes sat in a corner, her yellow eyes brimming with power… but not like a Sith’s. Not quite. She had brown hair and cybernetics in her forehead. He thought he could make out some tattoos on the small flash of exposed skin on her wrist. A pink Twi’lek sat in a hoverchair beside her. Several members of Havoc were seated alongside them, including Aric Jorgan, Elara Dorne, and Roban Queens. But Queens looked different. He looked… more like a she now.
In front of his future self, the guests were seated in several groups, each with their leaders. There was a richly garbed, graying Sith woman on the left. She kept eyeing the pink Twi’lek nervously. There was a crown on her head. There were several powerful Sith seated nearby, the only one of whom he recognized was Darth Vowrawn.
On the right was a Mirialan woman surrounded by Republic soldiers. An older Supreme Commander Rans sat on her left, and Jace Malcom on her right. She had to be the Supreme Chancellor. There were few Jedi with her. With a jump, he recognized Tau Idair. That tattoo on the side of her head was unmistakable. She had grown into a strong and confident woman. Vajra also recognized Masters Gnost-Dural and Devel Nirol. But where was everyone else? Where was Master Satele—oh, there she was! He hadn’t recognized her with her silver hair. How far into the future was this? She sat close to Jasme, instead of her fellow Masters. He thought he could Sense her contentment. And pride. There were two small children with her; one was a young Dathomiri Zabrak, perhaps twelve years old, and the other a toddler with dusky blue skin. And a third eye.

Done!
I've seen folks on Reddit do story rankings, so here's mine (spoilers obv):
IMPERIAL AGENT MY BELOVED. This story really hit that sweet spot of "complex moral landscape where you have to make difficult decisions" for me, and was one (along with trooper) where I could tell that Bioware understands politics and bureaucracy delightfully well. I know a game like this is good when I have to sit back and think for a minute about what choice my character would make at a pivotal moment, and I absolutely had to do that at the end of Chapter 1. I also normally hate mind control stuff as a plot device, but they handled it very well (and traumatically)--killing Kothe, and later Hunter, was such delicious catharsis. I also still hold that the Minister was probably the most realistic-feeling authority figure to me out of any such person in the class stories, and I also have deep affection for Shara and Vector. I wanted so much more of all of them, haha. Just a great experience all around.
Sith Warrior. Also a story where I was given a surprisingly great range of options in terms of ethical decision-making, and while the plot was more of a straightforward heroic journey, the characters really made it for me. I loved Vette, Quinn (despite the clumsy writing; having a romance where the usual gendered power dynamics were reversed was fantastic) and Pierce in particular, and I loved getting to play a morally gray patriot and how the game supported me in that. (For instance, the moment where my chick let Yonlach face death on his own terms and knelt in respect to his corpse just. Beautiful. Chef's kiss.) It was also probably my favorite in terms of the actual combat mechanics; I've played as a Marauder and a Jugg, and both are just such fun.
Trooper. SPEAKING OF COMPLEX MORAL LANDSCAPES. From the start, running around on Ord Mantell and encountering everything from war profiteering to mistreatment of prisoners to child soldiers, I knew I was in for a time. Like, this is insane, but my single favorite thing in this storyline was Jorgan's personal quest and how he went through the five stages of institutional disillusionment afterward. I loved Bioware's willingness to portray the Republic as a flawed state with bureaucratic infighting and active discrimination (e.g. poor Elara's defection story)--but still clearly not as bad as the 'has state-sponsored slavery' and 'is an oligarchy run by maniacs' Empire. I didn't get super attached to my own OC, but I am intending to run the expansion content with him just because I liked his dynamics with Jorgan and the authorities so much.
Jedi Consular. I know this is one of those stories people love to hate, and I wouldn't say it was the strongest for me, but I liked it! The politics of it were fun for me, and I got pretty attached to Yuon, thought Qyzen's whole cultural background was cool, and was frankly super disappointed I couldn't romance "ethically questionable guy with an assload of PTSD" Zenith. My main complaint was that my range of choices didn't seem as nuanced as some of the other characters--a lot of options were strictly "good guy" vs. "bloodthirsty maniac". I also did like the play style quite a bit--the glass cannon dynamic was pretty satisfying.
Smuggler: This was actually the first storyline I played, and it was alright. I felt the whole hunt for Skavak was really strong, and I liked the twist with Darmas, but the latter half of the story kind of dragged. Also felt like the romances really strongarmed you--I played a guy who ended up kissing Risha simply because I picked nice dialogue options with her, and I've heard that Corso's flirtations are kind of obnoxious on a female smugg. Overall, though, I loved the criminal underworld stuff, the quippy lines, the varying degrees of unethical I was permitted to be, and the combat style (I did gunslinger, and had a great time with that!)
Sith Inquisitor: The more fantastical, force magic stuff tends not to compel me, but this story was alright, namely because it was balls-to-the-wall insane and that was kind of acknowledged in universe (like, the sheer 'this might as well happen' energy of a lot of the dialogue was pretty funny.) I did feel as though I had less leeway than on Warrior to occupy a nuanced moral space; it felt like the writing was really encouraging me to be a scenery-chewing sadist, which I didn't care for as much. The companions were alright; I thought Andronikos was cool, and Ashara seemed a better-handled Jaesa (albeit one I didn't romance on a male inq because she coded really young to me and it creeped me out.) So yeah, just. Firmly 'okay.'
Bounty Hunter: I'm not sure why I didn't care for this story--I love the crime stuff in Star Wars, I could make questionable decisions, there were some politics involved--all of that was there. I think it just didn't have an emotional core for me. With Smuggler we were really off to the races on a vengeance quest when my ship got stolen; with Consular i got attached to Yuon and was motivated to help her; with Bounty Hunter Jory and Braden got killed before their deaths could really mean much to me and poor Mako (unlike Corso) seemed pretty unequipped to deal with the challenges we were going through. I did like Torian and got attached to him--the whole situation with his dad was feels--but yeah, I just felt unmotivated through much of it. It was disappointing too to get strongarmed into accepting Gault as a companion, as I really liked him in the expansion content; it just was one of those situations where I couldn't fathom why my character would let such a liability onto her ship.
Jedi Knight: I can tell this story was supposed to really be the main event of the game, but honestly? If the agent story was cake, this was white bread. If Agent was a published novel, this was wattpad fanfic. I was actively bored. As previously mentioned, I'm not super into the fantastical force magic stuff that much in general, and most of this story was that--the rest of it felt like sweeping up after the Republic's bullshit decisions without much political context (who the hell thought these superweapons were a good idea, anyway?) Like Consular, I felt like I had little nuance available to me in my choices, and many of the characters either straight up didn't feel like actual people or it seemed like I didn't have much time to get to know them (like, I was genuinely interested in Rusk's trauma and mindset and felt like I had little opportunity to explore that with him.) I got slightly attached to Orgus as a mentor figure, and then--well, we know what happened to him. I played a Shadow and was frankly glad I did because stealthing made it easier to get through the story quicker. Sigh.

Laughing over the realisation that both Serapis brothers end up in relationships with Imperial traitors
Darius tries to chew his little brother out over falling for a Sith and Cas just gestures at Elara like ‘Darius your WIFE is an Imperial defector, you don’t get to say anything here’
Darius: ....well my WIFE didn’t take me prisoner for six months!
Cas, already walking off hand in hand with Scourge: I’m sure if you ask her nicely she would ;D

My trooper Eskel has not had the easiest life thus far.
Tumblr media
Born in Imperial space four years before the great galactic war broke out. His mother was Sith Lord albeit a rather reluctant one and his father a former member of the republic military turned smuggler before being forced into slavery. Eskel did not know his father growing up as his grandparents had him killed for 'sullying their bloodline'. Livia, his mother, did everything in her power to raise Eskel how she knew Alain, his father, would have wanted to.
Like his mother, Eskel is force sensitive but unlike what happened to his mother, she let him choose the path he wished to take in life. Of course she taught him how to utilize his abilities but also how to hide them. The moment he turned sixteen he enlisted in the Imperial army. The only reason he was permitted to enlist was due to his mother being a Darth at that point. He also did not any tattoo's at the time.
He served under various commanders but he will never forget his first major deployment that ended with him being transferred to the Shadow Fist unit. The deployment in question of the battle of Alderaan. That whole experience left a mark on him. He couldn't comprehend all of the civilian deaths. He defected during his second encounter with Havoc squad after he killed his commanding officer with the saber his mother had given him.
He fled imperial space for the planet Mirial. There he received tattoo's based on everything he had done before Alderaan. He also abandoned his first name, Joran, opting to use his middle name and his fathers last name from that point forward. He laid low for a few years before enlisting in the republic military using forged credentials. He ended up fighting for the republic for about two years before the treaty was signed.
When he received word that he was being transferred to Havoc due to his skill set he was extremely hesitant. Eventually he was convinced to join by Garza, even though he did not trust her.
As per the game story everything goes as it happens in the game. However, after Tarvus is dealt with Garza gets an anonymous tip off with evidence about who Eskel really is. Many of the higher ups in military attend a special 'council' where Eskel is forced to reveal everything. It is clear after that Garza doesn't fully trust him despite proving he was loyal to the republic. Eskel briefly has a relationship with Elara but breaks it off citing it to be too dangerous.
After dealing with Rakton and the Revanite crisis, he resigned from Havoc and the Republic as a whole becoming a freelance mercenary. His only loyalty at that point was to himself and his mother whom he hoped to help escape the empire for good.
A post about just his parents is coming soon as it is rather long.
